Would you want your vaccines produced by a Saudi company that supports jihad? Danes, it seems, may have no choice.
Denmark recently sold its state-owned vaccine manufacturing facility to a conglomerate owned by the Aljomaih Group, a Saudi family dynasty[1] led by Sheikh AbdulAziz Hamad Aljomaih. The sheikh is also the largest single stockholder and chairman of Arcapita Bank, (formerly First Islamic Investment Bank) headquartered in Bahrain. As an Islamic bank, it has a so-called Sharia Supervisory Board comprised of Islamic scholars, who ensure that the bank’s activities comply with sharia (Islamic law).
Former Islamic judge and leading Islamic scholar Taqi Usmani, who sits on the bank’s Sharia Board, in his book, “Islam and Modernism”, writes ruminations such as: “Aggressive Jihad is lawful even today… Its justification cannot be veiled…”
Usami had also, after Danish newspapers reprinted the Mohammad cartoons in 2008, co-signed an appeal to the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), urging it to boycott Denmark:

There are the ones assigned to do the wet work and the ones assigned to provide the finance. Those who do not fall into one of those two categories are apostates and worthy of death according to allah.
Islam is attacking us, radical Islam is the small number of people trying to change Islam into a peaceful tolerant religion that can so-exist with the west.

USA – Muslim Man Guilty Of Killing Wife, Son & Shooting Lawyer Makes Odd Request In Court
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The man guilty of killing his wife and son, and also shooting his lawyer five times, made a strange request in court as a judge sentenced him to life in prison.
“I’m 14 years in Florida, working seven days to give my family the American dream,” Fadel Jabado said.
In court Friday, Jabado was ready to admit he’s guilty of killing his wife Bassima and their adult son Ahmed, as well as shooting at Kendall attorney Larry Harshman five times and shooting at two police officers.
But before entering his plea deal, he made an odd request. He wanted the judge to allow him to get out of prison when he’s in his mid-70s to go on a pilgrimage to Mecca.
“If God will, Allah gives us life, 76, I would like if it’s possible to allow me to go to pilgrimage,” he said.
Instead, the judge told him to wait until after his life sentence.
“You’re not getting out, it’s life,” the judge said. “If you’re asking me as a person of faith, I do believe that in the next life you will see Allah, you will see the profit, but you gotta count on that. You can’t make that a factor that I’m going to have a pilgrimage to Mecca.”
Then the judge explained Jabado will spend the rest of his life in prison.
“As part of the plea it’s mandatory, day for day, for the rest of your life,” the judge said.
Harshman and his family did not show up for sentencing. Instead, his wife had prosecutors read a letter. She reiterated what she told CBS4 News months ago that she was stunned when she heard Jabado was the man who pulled the trigger.
“He was a previous client. Larry saved his home for free and he was very happy,” she said in November of 2016.
With that, the judge handed down the sentence.
“I’m now going to sentence you to life in prison,” the judge said.

DRAMATIC footage has emerged of a fight outside a Preston mosque.
The Sunday Herald Sun understands the dispute was sparked over the banning of Sheik Abdou Eid.
The footage showed a large crowd of men pushing and shoving outside the mosque on Friday.
Sheik Eid has stood down from his role but did not return the Sunday Herald Sun’s calls.
The dispute:
Vicious infighting threatens to tear apart the congregation of one of Melbourne’s largest mosques, amid claims that millions of dollars of donations have disappeared and accusations that a sheikh had behaved inappropriately with women.
The conflict came to a head last week when Sheikh Mohamad Abou Eid – who had been banned from Preston Mosque – told hundreds of worshippers on the street outside that he feared management of the mosque had misappropriated donations, and fees paid for burial and school services.
The Islamic Society of Victoria, which manages the mosque, reported allegations of inappropriate behaviour by the sheikh to the Board of Imams.
He was suspended, and, despite later being told the claims could not be proven, resigned from his position on Friday…
On Friday, the sheikh had been escorted into the mosque – despite being banned – by worshippers, who remain angry at his treatment.

Sweden: Another day, another rape video. Girl beaten and knocked out

Indeed, that’s the third time a rape video emerges from Sweden in one month.
On February 22, Swedish journalist Joakim Lamotte posted a cry for help and screenshot of a video on Facebook of an unknown group of men, filming each other while they beat and rape a Swedish girl. In the video the girl is ‘knocked-out’, the rapists are heard laughing while they mockingly call her “Swedish” and “fatso”. They are clearly heard encouraging each other to “take her in her *ss“. The rapists’ faces are clearly visible. One has been identified via his Snapchat account.
Lamotte first posted the whole video, but Facebook removed it.
The video came from a distressed mother last January 7 in the Swedish city of Gothenburg, who went to local police to file a report. Study: 2/3 of Germans fear becoming victim of terrorism

Two out of three Germans are afraid of becoming a victim of a terrorist attack. Ten percent perceive an “acute threat” to their safety. These are results of a survey which was recently published by the German legal expenses insurance group ROLAND as part of its „Law Report 2017“. The poll was conducted among 1458 citizens over 16 years of age. The authors state:
“A large part of the population doesn’t feel safe anymore when visiting crowded places. The fear of becoming the victim of a terrorist attack with a high number of casualties is considerable. A total of 45 percent of respondents feel uneasy when visiting crowded locations like stations, festivals or even in the downtowns. Three percent of the population feel permanently unsafe when visiting a public place along with many other people.”
There is an even bigger fear among women, the study finds. 74 percent of the female respondents sometimes feel unsafe at crowded places, and a staggering nine percent feels permanently threatened and scared.
It’s important to note that this survey was conducted in October, prior to the jihadist terrorist attack against the Berlin Christmas market in which a Muslim migrant from Tunisia murdered 12 people.

Roundup: Wilders suspends campaign, security detail compromised

Earlier Gatestone.eu reported on the leaking of sensitive information with regard to the protection of Dutch Party for Freedom leader Geert Wilders. Today, more news was unveiled about the Moroccan-Dutch officer involved in the leak. The suspended officer, referred to as Faris K. for privacy reasons, was indicted in 2005 for leaking information and appeared before a police judge. He was convicted of violating the official secrets and his punishment was community service, which was suspended.
Not only was K. not fired, he was allowed to continue his career as a police officer. Employees of the Service Safety and Security (DBB) are subjected to vetting, and it is unclear how he could have been allowed to serve in view of his criminal record. Especially in view of the fact that Faris K.’s brother, Mohammed K. was also fired from the police, in 2007, for violating the official secrets act. He was paid for leaking information regarding the murder of one Abdel Edoujaji.
Besides this affair, Wilders was told today, that two DBB officers, one of whom was directly charged with guarding him, were removed from his protection team in 2015 for involvement in criminal activities. The Minister of Justice, Stef Blok, declined to state exactly what the two officers, the brothers, Omar El M. and Anouar El M., were suspected of doing.
In response to this news, Wilders has decided it is impossible to continue his campaign.
According to Prime Minister Mark Rutte, there is no reason to stop the campaigning for the parliamentary elections on 15 March. He is quoted in Dutch newspaper Telegraaf as stressing that all this has nothing to do with terrorism, but simply with less serious criminal activities and that:

Top US commander for Mideast in secret Syria trip: alliance
The top US military commander for the Middle East made a secret trip to northern Syria to meet a US-backed alliance fighting the Islamic State group, the alliance’s spokesman said.
General Joseph Votel, who heads US Central Command (Centcom), met with leaders from the Syrian Democratic Forces in the first such trip under the new US administration.
SDF spokesman Talal Sello told AFP that Votel “discussed the increase of coordination and support (to the SDF) in the era of Donald Trump”.
There were promises of heavy weapons in future stages,” Sello said.
In an online statement, Sello said Votel had met with several SDF commanders.
“The results were positive. We discussed the developments in the Euphrates Rage campaign and shared military matters,” Sello said.
He described the meeting as “confirmation of US support for our forces”.
An SDF source told AFP the visit lasted four hours.
According to a senior source in the SDF, “Votel confirmed the coalition’s commitment to protecting Manbij from any attacks waged by Turkey or supported by it, as part of its previous commitment to protecting the area.”
Manjib is a city in Aleppo province.
“We did not discuss opening corridors for Turkish-backed forces to enter areas under our control,” the source said.
The Pentagon did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Votel made a similar trip to Syria in May 2016, meeting with SDF commanders as well as US military advisers working alongside them.
But this is his first trip under Trump’s administration.
Founded in October 2015, the SDF is an alliance of Kurdish and Arab fighters that has seized swathes of territory from IS across northern Syria.
The United States has special operations forces advising the SDF on the ground in Syria, but no combat units.
On Wednesday, Votel told journalists travelling with him in the Middle East that more US troops might be needed in Syria, although he stressed local forces would be the primary force.
“I am very concerned about maintaining momentum,” Votel said, in comments reported by the New York Times and other outlets.
“It could be that we take on a larger burden ourselves.”

Top US General Secretly Visits Syria amid Washington’s Plans to Dispatch More Troops
The commander of the US Central Command has secretly visited northern Syria to meet leaders of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces.
Commander of the US Central Command (CENTCOM), General Joseph Votel, has secretly visited the Syrian Arab Republic in order to meet with leaders of US-backed militant groups. The visit was made just two days after it was announced that Washington is going to dispatch more US troops to the Arab country.
On Friday, Votel, who coordinates military operations of the US-led coalition against the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group in Syria and Iraq, visited the frontline cities of Raqqa and Kobani, located in the northen part of Syria, and met with commanders of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
According to spokesman for the SDF, Talal Sello, the offensive of the militants’ group on Raqqa city and possible ways to expand coordination and support were discussed by Votel and SDF leaders during the hours-long meeting.
The US General also discussed the situation in Raqqa with Turkish officials, who are dissatisfied with ties between the US and the SDF and, allegedly, offered an alternative plan to liberate the city from the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group without SDF participation.
About two-thirds of the SDF consists of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), which are considered by Ankara as a terrorist organization.
On Wednesday, Votel said that there is a need to dispatch more US troops to Syria in order to increase “mobility” and “firepower” of the US-backed group of militants. Reportedly, February 27 was announced as a deadline of representing a comprehensive plan for Washington’s involvement in Syria to US President Donald Trump by US officials.
Votel made his Syrian trip just several days after a similar visit to the country of Republican Senator John McCain, who is the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee.
“Senator McCain traveled to northern Syria last week to visit US forces deployed there and to discuss the counter-ISIL campaign and ongoing operations to retake Raqqa,” the spokeswoman for the Arizona senator said on Wednesday.

Meet the terrorist behind the next women’s march
Here’s the left’s next great idea for bringing down President Trump: another women’s march. Which means another public instance of Trump haters shouting slogans to one another and mistaking it for constructive politics. What progressives need to defeat Trump is outreach, but all they have is outrage.
On March 8, organizers seem to be aiming for a different vibe than the librarians-in-pussy-hats element that made the first women’s march after Trump’s inauguration so adorable.
Instead of milling around Washington, organizers have in mind a “general strike” called the Day without a Woman. In a manifesto published in The Guardian on Feb. 6, the brains behind the movement are calling for a “new wave of militant feminist struggle.” That’s right: militant, not peaceful.
The document was co-authored by, among others, Rasmea Yousef Odeh, a convicted terrorist. Odeh, a Palestinian, was convicted in Israel in 1970 for her part in two terrorist bombings, one of which killed two students while they were shopping for groceries. She spent 10 years in prison for her crimes. She then managed to become a US citizen in 2004 by lying about her past (great detective work, INS: Next time, use Google) but was subsequently convicted, in 2014, of immigration fraud for the falsehoods. However, she won the right to a new trial (set for this spring) by claiming she had been suffering from PTSD at the time she lied on her application. Oh, and in her time as a citizen, she worked for a while as an ObamaCare navigator.
You can see why she’s a hero to the left. Another co-author, Angela Davis, is a Stalinist professor and longtime supporter of the Black Panthers. Davis is best known for being acquitted in a 1972 trial after three guns she bought were used in a courtroom shootout that resulted in the death of a judge. She celebrated by going to Cuba.
A third co-author, Tithi Bhattacharya, praised Maoism in an essay for the International Socialist Review, noting that Maoists are “on the terrorist list of the US State Department, Canada, and the European Union,” which she called an indication that “Maoists are back in the news and by all accounts they are fighting against all the right people.” You know you’re dealing with extremism when someone admits to hating Canada.
The International Women’s Strike is meant to be a grass-roots affair, with womensmarch.com promising more information about how to participate in local protests across the US. Women around the country are being urged to walk off their jobs and join a demonstration near them.
According to The Guardian piece, women should spend their day “blocking roads, bridges, and squares, abstaining from domestic, care and sex work” and “boycotting” pro-Trump businesses. Also every woman is supposed to wear red in solidarity.
The bristling tone of the manifesto and its call for a “militant” uprising are yet another indicator that liberals are increasingly willing to justify violence in the name of opposing Trump. After the Berkeley campus erupted in flames and violence to protest the planned appearance of Milo Yiannopoulos, many progressive activists took to Twitter to cheer them on. Hollywood stars Debra Messing and Sarah Silverman both tweeted their support, with Messing saying, “RESISTANCE WORKS” and Silverman ranting: “WAKE UP & JOIN THE RESISTANCE. ONCE THE MILITARY IS W US FASCISTS GET OVERTHROWN. MAD KING & HIS HANDLERS GO BYE BYE.”
Progs are equally enthusiastic about the idea that it’s OK to punch people as long as you hate them: “Stranger Things” star David Harbour said at the Screen Actors Guild awards, “We will, as per Chief Jim Hopper [the character he played on the show], punch some people in the face when they seek to destroy the weak and the disenfranchised and the marginalized.” Nice liberal Democrats should be aware that this newer, angrier cohort is just as hostile to their own party. “I have problems with the Democratic Party that is just as linked to the corporate capitalist structure as the Republican party,” Davis said at a rally last year.
Anti-Trump activism seems to have little to do with the political arts required to win elections — finding common ground, forging alliances, making friends. Instead all of these demonstrations are about denouncing enemies, and making yourself feel better about the November defeat by gathering publicly with those who share your rage. This sort of thinking leads to such self-defeating acts as interrupting traffic in places like New York City (where Trump got 18 percent of the vote) or San Francisco (9 percent).
If you want to persuade working-class Trump voters in Wisconsin to join your cause, annoying rich liberal Democrats trying to get to work a thousand miles away is a strange way to go about it.

Almost 2,500 boat migrants were rescued in the past three days, the Italian Coast Guard said on Thursday, as this year’s arrivals already far outpace the record-setting 2016.
Some 1,100 were plucked from nine flimsy vessels off the coast of Libya on Thursday, the Coast Guard said, after a total of 1,360 were picked up the two preceding days.
Since the beginning of the year, there have been more than 10,700 sea arrivals, the Interior Ministry said on Thursday, a third higher than the same period last year.
“The situation is more dramatic than ever,” said Mathilde Auvillain, a spokeswoman on board the Aquarius, a rescue ship run by SOS Mediterranee and Doctors without Borders (MSF).
Last year a record 181,000 boat migrants reached Italy and more than 5,000 died in the Mediterranean. Since 2015, more than a million-and-a-half migrants have flooded into Europe.
To stop the flow, Italy and the European Union earlier this month pledged to fund migrant camps in Libya run by the U.N.-backed government, and to supply equipment and training for the fight against people smugglers.
But humanitarian groups including SOS Mediterranee and MSF have criticized the deal, saying Libya is not safe.
“In Libya, the police tells you they will deport you back to your country, but they don’t,” said Collins, 27, from Benin City, Nigeria, according to comments made to the Aquarius crew on Wednesday and Thursday.
“They just sell you to someone else. You cannot trust anybody in Libya, you never know if they are police or gangsters,” he said.
Youssef from Gambia said that since the signing of the EU-Libya migrants have heard that the sea journey may soon be shut down.
“I heard that they will close this route in one month, I’m very worried about my people, the blacks, who are still there in Libya. The situation is terrible,” he said.

New Orleans: dozens injured after ‘pickup truck’ ploughs into parade crowd
At least 28 people were injured when a vehicle ran into a crowd watching a parade in the Mid-City section of New Orleans
Officials said 28 people, including a police officer, were taken to seven hospitals.
Police chief Michael Harrison said one person was in custody and that he was being investigated for driving while intoxicated. Harrison said police do not suspect terrorism.
He said that 21 people were hospitalised after the crash and five were in a critical condition. Seven others declined to be hospitalised.

“Hijab-wearing, American patriot, Rumana Ahmed, felt challenged to remain at the White House following the election of Donald Trump as President, but she was determined to serve her country. She lasted eight days.
First-generation American, Ahmed was born to hard-working Bangladeshi parents who immigrated to the US before Rumana was born. Her childhood was ideal, complete with family trips to Disneyland, until her beloved father was killed in a car crash when she was just twelve.
This is when she decided to wear the hijab. For Ahmed, it was “a matter of faith, identity and resilience for me.” When she found herself on the receiving end of taunts, especially following 9/11, she was reminded of an old Bangladeshi proverb her father had taught her; “When a man kicks you down, get back up, extend your hand, and call him brother.”
In 2011, after interning at the White House, she was offered a position right out of college. By 2012 she had made her way to the West Wing, joining the Office of Public Engagement. Two years later the National Security Council beckoned.
Ahmad was the only hijabi in the White House but, under the Obama administration, she felt welcomed and included, even valued. For two and a half years she worked just down the hall from the Situation Room, advising President Obama on engagements with American Muslims.
The years 2015 and 2016 saw Ahmed witness a frightening shift in public demeanor. Donald Trump’s vitriolic language during his campaign run had given xenophobes, anti-semites and Islamophobes not-so-silent permission to vent their hostilities in an ever-more-public way. She still remembers learning of the murders of three young American-Muslim college students by an avowed Islamophobe.
Ahmed chafed at the administration’s slow response to condemn the deaths. She recalls wondering why it seemed that the victims had to be vetted before their deaths could be allowed to spark deserving outrage. It left her emotionally devastated. Then, late in February of 2015, evangelist Franklin Graham publicly declared that the White House had been “infiltrated by Muslims.”
The world was turning upside down and Ahmed was still strapped into her White House rollercoaster seat, white-knuckled but hoping for the best. Looking at her community and others across the nation, Ahmed saw the anti-Muslim rhetoric taking its toll. Anti-Muslim hate crimes spiked when Trump began to call for a Muslim travel ban while on the stump. It was feeling eerily reminiscent of the months following 9/11 with one truly notable difference. This time, the hate-fueled messages were originating from Americans in positions of power.
On one occasion, Ahmed remembers encountering the hate first-hand as she was exiting the metro. A complete stranger, a man, approached her and yelled “F*** you! F*** Islam! Trump will send you back!”
The day following Trump’s win was declared, Ahmed and her colleagues gathered in the West Wing, in dazed disbelief, as outgoing president Barack Obama delivered a statement in the Rose Garden stressing the need for a smooth governmental transition. Unlike those who had come by their jobs through appointment, Ahmed found herself in the enviable position of choosing whether to stay or leave. She decided to remain at her post, hoping to present the new administration with a more realistic, nuanced view of Islam and Muslim Americans.
Her optimism was short-lived, however, as she watched new White House staff stare at her with obvious cold surprise. The White House, once a place of inclusion and respect, had overnight been transformed into a “monochromatic and male bastion.”
Where there had been time-honoured and well-oiled order, there was now open chaos. The entire presidential support system was being undermined, neutered by an administration that believed the new President’s authority to be absolute. In Ahmed’s words, there was “no structure or clear guidance.”
It was January 30th, the day Trump’s travel ban was blocked by a Ninth District Court ruling, that Ahmed decided she could continue no longer. The ensuing rage on the part of Trump staffers at the sheer audacity that a lower authority thought it could defy Presidential commands proved to be the final sign Ahmed needed.
She presented her resignation to Trump’s senior National Security Council communications officer, Michael Anton and watched as his faced expressed short-lived surprise, then turned to stone. He accepted her resignation silently but Ahmed didn’t let that stop her from expressing her reasons to him. Looking at him squarely in the eye she told him it “was an insult walking into this country’s most historic building everyday under an administration that is working against and vilifying everything I stand for as an American and as a Muslim.” When he continued to be silent, she added that “the administration was attacking the basic tenets of democracy.”
It was only later that Ahmed learned that, under another name, Anton had authored an essay praising what he saw as the virtues of authoritarianism and describing diversity as a nation’s weakness. Islam had been singled out in the essay as being “incompatible with the modern West.”
Little had Rumana Ahmed known in 2015 that the self-proclaimed theorists spreading anti-Muslim lies leading up to Trump’s victory would end up inside the White House, determining policy for a country whose very character she fears is in danger of being redrawn.”

Dar Al-Ifta’s statement is in response to an op-ed written by Muslim Brotherhood spokesman Gehad El-Haddad and published by The New York Times 22 February under the title, “I am a member in the Muslim Brotherhood, not a terrorist.”
El-Haddad, who is currently imprisoned on terror-related charges in Egypt since 2013, wrote in his piece that he wrote it because there is an inquiry in the United States that could result in the Brotherhood being designated a terrorist organisation.
“We are not terrorists. The Muslim Brotherhood’s philosophy is inspired by an understanding of Islam that emphasises the values of social justice, equality and the rule of law,” El-Haddad wrote.
El-Haddad’s piece added that the Muslim Brotherhood had flaws in ruling the country in 2013, under Mohamed Morsi, and that the “flaws are many, but violence is not one.”
“In hindsight, I regret that political manoeuvring created distance between us and the people we have long lived to serve,” El-Haddad wrote, concluding his op-ed.
Dar Al-Ifta’s statement, meanwhile, said the Muslim Brotherhood is attempting to hide its terrorist nature by disowning and blaming those who resorted to violence among its ranks.
In December 2013, the Egyptian government designated the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organisation as the government blamed the group for a number of deadly attacks on security forces in the aftermath of the ouster of Islamist president Morsi in July of that year.
In the last three years, many Brotherhood members have received various prison sentences on charges that range from breaking the protest law to incitement against the government and carrying out terrorist attacks.”
