George Soros. International man of mystery

1. Republicans on the Soros payroll?

2. Look Who Funds The Group Behind The Call To Arms At Milo’s Berkeley Event

The left-wing group that helped organize the violent shut down of the Milo Yiannopoulos event at the University of California, Berkeley on Wednesday is backed by a progressive charity that is in turn funded by George Soros, the city of Tucson, a major labor union and several large companies.

3. Hungary’s Orban Renews Attack on Influence of George Soros

Hungary’s populist prime minister on Friday lashed out against billionaire financier George Soros, claiming he and groups backed by him want to secretly influence the country’s politics.

In his annual state of the nation speech, Viktor Orban said groups partly funded by Soros, who was born in Hungary, needed to be made transparent and identifiable.

“Large-bodied predators are swimming here in the waters. This is the trans-border empire of George Soros, with tons of money and international heavy artillery,” said Orban, who received a Soros-funded scholarship as Hungary was transitioning from communism to democracy in the late 1980s.

“It is causing trouble … that they are trying secretly and with foreign money to influence Hungarian politics,” Orban said.

He did not cite evidence backing his claims, and did not identify the groups he mentioned. Government officials had earlier taken aim at corruption watchdog Transparency International and rights groups like the Hungarian Helsinki Committee and the Hungarian Civil Liberties Union.

(Interestingly, the now Marxist ABC makes Orban look like the bad guy and Soros look like an innocent. When in fact it was firmly established that this Nazi collaborator was firmly in bed with US leaders and having profound, and profoundly undemocratic effects on US politics, not to mention what he did to the British economy)

4. Why Is Paul Ryan Taking as Much Money from Soros as Schumer?

Why is Paul Ryan taking as much money from George Soros as Chuck Schumer? Schumer just yesterday advocated the overthrow of the President of the United States.

These people will take money from anyone.

Republicans should not take money from known subversives.

McCain, Graham, Grassley, Curbelo, Johnson, Boehner, Donovan also take money from Soros. It needs to stop and Soros needs to be investigated as a subversive. McCain has been taking money from Soros since 2001.

5. GEORGE SOROS AFFILIATE AND MEP: “EU MUST LAUNCH OWN BROADCASTING SERVICE TO COUNTER LIES”

The German André Wilkens, who “headed the Soros Foundation’s Open Society Institute (OSI) in Brussels and coordinated Soros’ activities in Europe (2003-2009)” and member of the European Parliament Jakob von Weizsäcker (Social Democratic Party, yes, Martin Schulz’s club) today published a piece so Orwellian, only Europhiles could have written it.

“Propaganda spreads faster on social media than serious information and we’ve just experienced what an election looks like in the post-factual world. The European Union should launch its own broadcasting channel, the European Broadcasting Service (EBC), to counter the lies, draw Europe together and defend democracy.”

Wrath of Khan, M., Xanthippa, MissPiggy, WTD., Richard, and all who contributed, some of whom I lost track of.

Any other Soros links today or in the near future, please put in the comments under this post, or if they are of serious importance, new policies against him and so on, please put in the Reader’s links.

  1. The RINOS being funded by Soros is not surprising, most people think that the Republicans are all conservatives but most of the “Establishment” Republicans are either liberal or moderate.

    • The RINOS being funded by Soros is not surprising…

One need only examine how liberally those job-exporters at Walmart spread around the fertilizer on both sides of the aisle to understand that America’s bipartisan political structure is now a one-party-system of the almighty dollar.

It should come as no surprise that Soros is buying off Republican politicians like the street-corner-whores that they are.

… most people think that the Republicans are all conservatives but most of the “Establishment” Republicans are either liberal or moderate.

The GOP swerved to left-of-center back in the 1960s when they helped open the floodgates of worldwide immigration into America with few, if any, functional restraints.

America’s GOP and the Republican party in general, is about as Conservative as Saul Alinsky. Full stop.

  2. Keyword ‘Indivisible’: Highly organized disruptive protests at Republican town halls
    By J.E. Dyer February 11, 2017

There probably aren’t many in the reading audience who need to be told that the highly organized protesters descending on Republican representatives’ town hall meetings in the last couple of weeks are, well, highly organized protesters – not dissatisfied constituents who happened to show up out of unprecedented personal concern.

It’s quite obvious that protesters who show up to hoot and screech at a Jason Chaffetz ?
    76%
(R-UT) town hall for 80 straight minutes, preventing any real business from getting done, are not there because they have legitimate concerns. They’re there solely to be disruptive. That’s not what well-intentioned constituents do when they have concerns to convey to a congressman or senator. They may be upset, but they engage their representative. They don’t just keep shouting him down. (Or chasing him out of the building in fear for his life, for that matter.)

They also don’t have a bunch of identical, professionally printed signs.

“Indivisible” is an evidently well-orchestrated network of activism, focused on one thing: opposing the Trump agenda through inserting itself into state- and local-politics forums. The most-advertised Indivisible effort is that of a group of ex-congressional staffers, who in December 2016 published the “Indivisible Guide” for people wanting to don the mantle of activism and start exerting influence in town halls and other political-contact forums.

The leftosphere has been very excited about this. It’s being sold as a way of turning the Tea Party’s methods against the political right – although it’s clear that the actual character of the Tea Party is not what these folks are replicating. The Tea Party genuinely lacked centralized organization and fealty to a larger political movement. The Indivisible organization is plugged in with all the usual suspects from the protest-left.

    Lucas quotes Vadum:

“Indivisible is ultra-slick leftist astroturf activism at its finest,” Matthew Vadum, senior vice president at the Capital Research Center, told The Daily Signal in an email. “At least three of the group’s five principals—Ezra Levin, Leah Greenberg, and Angel Padilla—have ties to organizations funded by George Soros. Indivisible is apparently not yet a nonprofit, but plans are in the works to register it as a nonprofit.”

  3. How convenient that Soros supported presidential nomineees Rubio, Kasich and Graham and Ryan!

    • When people write so much BS about their hero they let the stupid through – as lies become permitted as truths.
“In the 1980s, he helped promote the open exchange of ideas in the Communist Eastern Bloc by providing photocopiers to reprint banned texts.”

It has never been about philanthropy but the rewards of stupidity that Socialism brings with it.

It is worth noting how this process goes well-beyond the classic “Big Lie” and enters the realm of “breathing your own exhaust” (or, as some engineering types call such overloaded transducer feedback, “sucking its own butt”).

Perfectchild, yours is the most succinct, one-sentence, explanation that I’ve seen for why Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign imploded like an outdated Las Vegas casino undergoing (long-overdue) demolition. Sincere kudos.

  4. ‘Indivisible,’ With Ties to George Soros, Sows Division Against Trump, GOP Lawmakers

Democrats who used to work on Capitol Hill are helping to disrupt Republican lawmakers’ town hall meetings across the country through a nationwide effort to oppose and “resist” President Donald Trump’s agenda.

“Indivisible is ultra-slick leftist astroturf activism at its finest,” @Vadum says.

They call their group Indivisible Guide, a name that came from an actual guide posted online telling activists how to pressure members of Congress. Among topics: what to say when going to town halls and calling or visiting a member’s office.

Leaders of the organization have loose ties to George Soros, the billionaire hedge fund manager who bankrolls liberal causes, according to the Capital Research Center, a conservative think tank that investigates nonprofits.
