Philippines says China vessels have left Scarborough Shoal
MANILA (Reuters) – Chinese ships are no longer at the disputed Scarborough Shoal in the South China Sea and Philippine boats can resume fishing, the Philippine defense minister said on Friday, calling the Chinese departure a “welcome development”.
Philippine fishermen could access the shoal unimpeded for the first time in four years, Defence Secretary Delfin Lorenzana said, capping off a startling turnaround in ties since his country rattled China in 2013 by challenging its maritime claims at an international tribunal.
The departure of the Chinese coastguard comes after President Rodrigo Duterte’s high-profile visit to Beijing and follows his repeated requests for China to end its blockade of the shoal, a tranquil lagoon rich in fish stocks.
“Since three days ago there are no longer Chinese ships, coastguard or navy, in the Scarborough area,” Lorenzana told reporters.
“If the Chinese ships have left then it means our fishermen can resume fishing in the area.”
Though the Scarborough Shoal is comprised of only a few rocks poking above the sea some 124 nautical miles off the Philippine mainland, it is symbolic of the country’s efforts to assert its maritime sovereignty claims.
Lorenzana did not explain the circumstances of the Chinese vessels leaving the shoal, which was the centerpiece of a case Manila filed in 2013 at the Permanent Court of Arbitration in the Hague.

They might start with Jerusalem, but they will quickly move on.
In 2000, Yisrael Hasson flew to Camp David. It was the twilight days of Ehud Barak’s premiership, and the Labor Party leader was making one last-ditch effort at reaching a peace deal with Yasser Arafat.
Just two months earlier, Hasson had lost out on the race to become the new head of the Shin Bet (Israel Secu- rity Agency), where he had become its deputy director after serving for 23 years. Despite skipping him over, Barak asked Hasson to join the Israeli negotiation team. Hasson was an expert on Jerusalem, and the Israeli capital was about to become one of most contentious issues on the Camp David table.
Ahead of the summit, Hasson toured the Old City and studied every nook and cranny to try to come up with a plan as viable as possible on how to divide the city, if a deal would be reached. Just as important, he spent days pouring over ancient Islamic texts where he found various references to Jerusalem and the Haykal Sulayman, Arabic for Solomon’s Temple.
Hasson recalled these experiences this week in the wake of another shameful resolution adopted by UNESCO, which once again ignored Judaism’s ties to the Temple Mount. Today though, Hasson is no longer just an ex-negotiator. He is the head of the Israel Antiqui- ties Authority, and the man to whom many Israelis are looking to provide evidence that can refute UNESCO’s claims.
“Then and today, the debate over Jerusalem has always been mixed with ignorance and evilness,” Hasson recalled this week. “The Palestinians used to tell me: ‘Prove to us that the Temple was really there’. I would say to them: ‘Our faith is not up for negotiation’.”
I spoke to Hasson on Wednesday just hours after the UNESCO vote, and coincidentally, after the Antiquities Authority announced the discovery of an ancient papyrus written in Hebrew and dating back to the Kingdom of Judah in the seventh century BCE, the period of the First Temple. The papyrus has “Jerusalem” written on it, in what is the earliest extra-biblical source mentioning the Jewish capital in Hebrew.
“All around us there are attempts by different people and organizations to erase history and culture,” Hasson told me. “It started with the Taliban and ISIS’s destruction in Iraq and Syria. UNESCO is trying to do the same, just by diplomatic efforts.”
Hasson claimed that the announcement regarding the discovery of the papyrus coincidentally fell on the same day as the UNESCO vote, and that it had been scheduled months before to coincide with an academic conference. But, he said, the point got across.
“The more we dig throughout Israel, the more we find scientific support of our historical roots in this land,” he said. “I have yet to find proof of Palestinian roots to the land.”
Hasson is right that UNESCO should be ashamed of itself, but so should some of the countries that Israel tends to view as its friends and allies. By giving a hand to the UNESCO resolution, other Western countries where Christianity is the primary faith are supporting the dele- tion of their own history and faith.
If there is one lesson from Israel’s history as a state and the decades of terror it has faced, it is that while terrorists might start their attacks against Israel, they quickly move on to other countries, other faiths and other people. Israel might be chosen first, but when hundreds of people are then murdered in Paris, London or New York, the targets become one and the same.
Some of these countries still have difficulty recognizing that we are all aligned in the same battle of the Free World against the forces of radical Islamic terror. To allow resolutions like UNESCO’s to pass this week is another failure to recognize just that. They might start with Jerusalem, but they will quickly move of optimism or resilience. They plowed forward and built a country that today is an economic and military superpower.”

Israel’s only deal worth making with Arafat should have involved him getting a .50 caliber third eye. Not once did Arafat ever deal in good faith and it should have gotten him dead a lot sooner than circumstances ended up providing.

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SLPC), based in Montgomery, Alabama, has struck again. The self-appointed boundary-markers and policemen of free discussion have issued what they call a “Field Guide” to help “guide” the media in “countering prominent anti-Muslim extremists.” It is hard to know where to start with such idiocy, so let us start from the beginning.
The SPLC was founded in 1971, ostensibly to fight for civil rights among other good causes. By the end of its first decade it was targeting the KKK and other racist organisations. So far so good. But like many a campaigning organisation, they experienced the happy blow of basically winning their argument. By the 1990s, there were mercifully few racist groups in America going about unchallenged. When a member of the KKK cropped up everybody in civil society pretty much understood that here was a bad person who should not be given a free pass.
But there is an odd trait in campaigning groups that is well known. Once they have achieved their objective, they continue. Why is this so? Usually it is because there are people with salaries at stake, pensions, perks and more. Campaigning for a particular thing or against a particular thing has become their way of life and their means of earning. And so they find a way to continue. For some years, the SPLC staggered around in such a manner, as pointless and purposeless an organisation as could be imagined.
The SPLC is the best source for top Counter-Jihad websites.
If the SPLC hates them they have to be doing a lot of good.

However, Harmanli citizens won’t let this slide. They are organizing another protest to demand that authorities immediately start working on turning the refugee center into a closed-type facility, and that they cease its expansion.

Fires continued to rage at camp in Calais on Friday morning. Fire-fighters have had to tackle several blazes since authorities began demolishing the camp five days ago. Demolition work also continued throughout the day in the camp involving diggers and other heavy machinery.

“THOUSANDS of displaced migrants have gone from the Jungle shanty town in Calais to arrive in one of Paris’s many squatter settlements, causing chaos for residents.
Héloïse Mary, a charity worker, said the glamorous capital was now overflowing with refugees and more than 1,000 migrants had landed in the capital in less than two days.
Many are now sleeping underneath the Stalingrad Metro station, a sordid migrant squat which has been evacuated more than once by the local authorities but to no avail.
After a brief period of calm, ‘Stalingrad’ locals say the migrant situation has become a “living hell”.
Marie, who lives right next to the makeshift camp, told the French daily Le Figaro: “Life here has become unbearable. More than 2,500 squatters were evacuated in September, and now, less than two months later, they’re back. And now that the ‘Jungle’ camp has been closed, things are about to get even worse.”
Another local, Monique, told Le Figaro that she was at “a loss for words” and “utterly distraught”.
She said: “The streets are littered with rubbish and faeces. We can hear blood-curdling screams coming from the camp in the middle of the night.
“I’ve seen migrants throw stones at each other and use metal bars as weapons.”
Local street cleaners whose job is to clear up the migrants’ mess are also fed up.
One said: “Things have gone from bad to worse.
“We’ve given the migrants rubbish bins but they don’t seem to care. We sweep and clean the streets every day.”
But one local says charity workers are to blame for the worsening refugee crisis: “They give the migrants tents to sleep in and feed them three meals a day. It’s no wonder people keep coming back.
“Every time we tell them that the situation has become intolerable, they tell us that we have a roof over our heads, and that we should be grateful.”
Colombe Brossel, the Socialist deputy mayor in charge of security and urban affairs, promised to put an end to the migrant crisis in Paris, and said she would send the migrants living underneath the Stalingrad Metro station to another shelter “as soon as possible”.
She said: “Migrants are suffering, and those who have made the journey from Calais have been forced into an impossible situation. But locals are suffering too.””

Congress: Attorney General Lynch ‘Pleads Fifth’ on Secret Iran ‘Ransom’ Payments
Obama admin blocking congressional probe into cash payments to Iran
Attorney General Loretta Lynch is declining to comply with an investigation by leading members of Congress about the Obama administration’s secret efforts to send Iran $1.7 billion in cash earlier this year, prompting accusations that Lynch has “pleaded the Fifth” Amendment to avoid incriminating herself over these payments, according to lawmakers and communications exclusively obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
Sen. Marco Rubio (R., Fla.) and Rep. Mike Pompeo (R., Kan.) initially presented Lynch in October with a series of questions about how the cash payment to Iran was approved and delivered.
In an Oct. 24 response, Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik responded on Lynch’s behalf, refusing to answer the questions and informing the lawmakers that they are barred from publicly disclosing any details about the cash payment, which was bound up in a ransom deal aimed at freeing several American hostages from Iran.
The response from the attorney general’s office is “unacceptable” and provides evidence that Lynch has chosen to “essentially plead the fifth and refuse to respond to inquiries regarding [her] role in providing cash to the world’s foremost state sponsor of terrorism,” Rubio and Pompeo wrote on Friday in a follow-up letter to Lynch, according to a copy obtained by the Free Beacon.
The inquiry launched by the lawmakers is just one of several concurrent ongoing congressional probes aimed at unearthing a full accounting of the administration’s secret negotiations with Iran.
“It is frankly unacceptable that your department refuses to answer straightforward questions from the people’s elected representatives in Congress about an important national security issue,” the lawmakers wrote. “Your staff failed to address any of our questions, and instead provided a copy of public testimony and a lecture about the sensitivity of information associated with this issue.”
“As the United States’ chief law enforcement officer, it is outrageous that you would essentially plead the fifth and refuse to respond to inquiries,” they stated. “The actions of your department come at time when Iran continues to hold Americans hostage and unjustly sentence them to prison.”
The lawmakers included a copy of their previous 13 questions and are requesting that Lynch provide answers by Nov. 4.
When asked about Lynch’s efforts to avoid answering questions about the cash payment, Pompeo told the Free Beacon that the Obama administration has blocked Congress at every turn as lawmakers attempt to investigate the payments to Iran.
“Who knew that simple questions regarding Attorney General Lynch’s approval of billions of dollars in payments to Iran could be so controversial that she would refuse to answer them?” Pompeo said. “This has become the Obama administration’s coping mechanism for anything related to the Islamic Republic of Iran—hide information, obfuscate details, and deny answers to Congress and the American people.”
“They know this isn’t a sustainable strategy, however, and I trust they will start to take their professional, and moral, obligations seriously,” the lawmaker added.
In the Oct. 24 letter to Rubio and Pompeo, Assistant Attorney General Kadzik warned the lawmakers against disclosing to the public any information about the cash payment.
Details about the deal are unclassified, but are being kept under lock and key in a secure facility on Capitol Hill, the Free Beacon first disclosed. Lawmakers and staffers who have clearance to view the documents are forced to relinquish their cellular devices and are barred from taking any notes about what they see.
“Please note that these documents contain sensitive information that is not appropriate for public release,” Kadzik wrote to the lawmakers. “Disclosure of this information beyond members of the House and Senate and staff who are able to view them could adversely affect the diplomatic relations of the United States, including with key allies, as well as the State Department’s ability to defend [legal] claims against the United States [by Iran] that are still being litigated at the Hague Tribunal.”
“The public release of any portion of these documents, or the information contained therein, is not authorized by the transmittal of these documents or by this communication,” Kadzik wrote.
Congressional sources have told the Free Beacon that this is another part of the effort to hide details about these secret negotiations with Iran from the American public.
One senior congressional source familiar with both the secret documents and the inquiry into them told the Free Beacon that the details of the negotiations are so damning that the administration’s best strategy is to ignore lawmakers’ requests for more information.
“Every Obama administration official and department involved in the Iran Deal appear to be running for cover,” the source said. “Like we feared, the [Iran deal] is turning out to be a disaster and Iran is emboldened in its aggression. Evidently Attorney General Lynch and the Department of Justice have decided ‘refusal to cooperate’ is their best strategy. But this is dangerous and ultimately won’t protect them from anything.”

FBI sued over records of Bill Clinton, Loretta Lynch meeting
A conservative-leaning watchdog group sued the FBI Friday after the law enforcement agency ignored a Freedom of Information Act request for records related to the Hillary Clinton email investigation.
Judicial Watch filed a FOIA on July 7 for documents that included “all records related to the meeting between Attorney General Lynch and former President Bill Clinton on June 27, 2016.”
Bill Clinton and Lynch met privately on a Phoenix tarmac in the final days of the email probe after they said their jets unexpectedly landed near each other.
While both parties claimed the meeting was purely social in nature, their visit sparked a fierce backlash among critics who accused Bill Clinton of attempting to tilt the outcome of the investigation in favor of his wife.
Judicial Watch’s open records request also sought correspondence between FBI agents and the Democratic National Committee, the White House and Hillary Clinton’s campaign, if any exist.
The FBI has to date released hundreds of pages of 302s, or official summaries of interviews with witnesses, in response to separate FOIA requests.

The FBI is probing new emails related to Hillary Clinton, FBI Director James Comey said in a Friday letter.
“In previous congressional testimony, I referred to the fact that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had completed its investigation of former Secretary Clinton’s personal email server. Due to recent developments, I am writing to supplement my previous testimony,” Comey wrote.
“In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation. I am writing to inform you that the investigative team briefed me on this yesterday, and I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation,” he added.
“Although the FBI cannot yet assess whether or not this material may be signifcant, and I cannot predict how long it will take us to complete this additional work, I believe it is important to update your Committees about our efforts in light of my previous testimony,” Comey concluded.
Stocks turned negative after the report of the new probe. Many analysts have said that markets were pricing in a Clinton victory in November.
The letter was addressed to several lawmakers who chaired committees relevant to the FBI investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server.

The FBI will investigate whether additional classified material is contained in emails sent using Hillary Clinton’s private email server while she was secretary of state, FBI Director James Comey informed congressional leaders Friday.
The announcement appears to restart the FBI’s probe of Clinton’s server, less than two weeks before the presidential election, an explosive development that could shape the campaign’s final days.
In a letter to congressional leaders, Comey said that the FBI had, in connection with an “unrelated case,” recently “learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the Clinton investigation.”
Comey indicated that he had been briefed on the new material yesterday. “I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation,” he wrote.

WASHINGTON — Federal law enforcement officials said Friday that the new emails uncovered in the closed investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server were discovered after the F.B.I. seized electronic devices belonging to Huma Abedin, a top aide to Mrs. Clinton, and her husband, Anthony Weiner.
The F.B.I. is investigating illicit text messages that Mr. Weiner sent to a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina. The bureau told Congress on Friday that it had uncovered new emails related to the Clinton case — one federal official said they numbered in the thousands — potentially reigniting an issue that has weighed on the presidential campaign and offering a lifeline to Donald J. Trump less than two weeks before the election.
In a letter to Congress, the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, said that emails had surfaced in an unrelated case, and that they “appear to be pertinent to the investigation.”
Mr. Comey said the F.B.I. was taking steps to “determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation.” He said he did not know how long it would take to review the emails, or whether the new information was significant.

John Podesta Statement on New Hillary Clinton E-Mail Probe
John Podesta, Chairman of the 2016 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, has released a statement following the news that the FBI is looking into new emails tied to the Hillary Clinton case.
In the statement, Podesta essentially says that FBI Director James Comey did not give enough information in his announcement, calling on him to “immediately provide the American public more information than is contained in the letter.”
Podesta also says that Comey’s statement is giving people the impression that the FBI is “reopening” an investigation, but Podesta says this is not the case.
This is the first instance of anyone from the Hillary Clinton campaign reacting to the shocking Friday afternoon news. Moments after the story broke, Hillary Clinton’s plane landed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, but Clinton and her staff huddled together for about 20 minutes before stepping out. Clinton was then rushed into a car without addressing reporters, and at her scheduled rally in Cedar Rapids, she did not address the news in any form whatsoever.
Donald Trump, however, immediately seized on the story at a rally about 10 minutes after the news broke, saying that he’s happy the FBI might be going back on what he has for months called a horrible decision.

Upon completing this investigation more than three months ago, FBI Director Comey declared no reasonable prosecutor would move forward with a case like this and added that it was not even a close call. In the months since, Donald Trump and his Republican allies have been baselessly second-guessing the FBI and, in both public and private, browbeating the career officials there to revisit their conclusion in a desperate attempt to harm Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
FBI Director Comey should immediately provide the American public more information than is contained in the letter he sent to eight Republican committee chairmen. A former director of the Justice Department’s office of public affairs said Friday that FBI Director James Comey’s letter to Congress announcing the review of more evidence in the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private email server constituted “such an inappropriate disclosure.”
Matthew Miller, who served at the Department of Justice under Attorney General Eric Holder, blasted Comey’s move in a 14-post spree on Twitter Friday afternoon, ripping the FBI director for his practices throughout the entire Clinton investigation. Miller said Comey “flagrantly violated DOJ rules” by holding a press conference in July to announce that he was recommending against charges for the former secretary of state, a decision the FBI director said at the time that he made in the interest of transparency.
“But today’s disclosure might be worst abuse yet,” Miller tweeted, adding that in his experience, the Justice Department “goes out of its way to avoid publicly discussing investigations” when elections are close.
Miller said those precautions are not just limited to public statements, writing that the department often avoids sending subpoenas or taking other steps that might become public until an election is over.
The Justice Department does that, he said, “because voters have no way to interpret FBI/DOJ activity in a neutral way.” Miller wrote that the new information being reviewed by the FBI “might be totally benign & not even involve Clinton. But no way for press or voters to know that. Easy for opponent to make hay over.”
“Which takes us back to the original rule: you don’t comment on ongoing investigations,” he added. “Then multiply that times ten close to an election.”

Blink and you missed it: in a brief, 3 minute 47 second address to the press, a defiant Hillary slammed the FBI, said that she hopes that whatever information the Bureau has will be shared with the American people and added that she is confident that no charges will be brought against her by the FBI, while taking the opportunity to ask people to go out and vote for her.
She took three questions which some have mockingly said were drafted and/or preapproved by Clinton campaign direction of communications Jennifer Palmier.
“We are 11 days out from perhaps the most important national election of our lifetimes,” Clinton said during the brief press conference in Des Moines, Iowa. “Voting is already underway in our country, so the American people deserve to get the full and complete facts immediately.”
Hillary revealed that the FBI had not contacted her before or since Comey sent a letter to lawmakers Friday afternoon.
“So we don’t know the facts, which is why we are calling on the FBI to release all the information that it has,” she said. “Even Director Comey noted that this new information may not be significant, so let’s get it out.”
Comey’s letter said that the FBI was reviewing pertinent emails that it found in an unrelated investigation, but did not reveal much more than that. Republicans and the GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump quickly pounced on the news.
Clinton was asked about a New York Times report that said the FBI had found the new emails in its separate investigation into Anthony Weiner’s sexting scandal.
“We’ve heard these rumors,” she said “We don’t know what to believe. And I’m sure there will be even more rumors. That’s why it’s incumbent on the FBI to tell us what they’re talking about, Jeff. Your guess is as good as mine and I don’t think that’s not good enough.”

Evoking both Nigel Farage and Donald Trump, UKIP leadership candidate Raheem Kassam launched his bid to head the party from a Westminster Arms pub, London, on Friday.

The objective of this libelous new report from the hard-Left money-making and incitement machine the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is made plain within it: “Before you book a spokesperson from an anti-Muslim extremist group or quote them in a story, research their background — detailed in this in-depth guide to 15 of the most visible anti-Muslim activists— and consider the consequences of giving them a platform.”
They wish to silence those who speak honestly about the nature and magnitude of the jihad threat, blaming us for a supposed rise in “Islamophobia.” If they really want to stamp out suspicion of Islam, of course, they will move against not us, but the likes of Omar Mateen, Syed Rizwan Farook, Tashfeen Malik, Nidal Malik Hasan, Mohammed Abdulazeez, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, and the myriad other Muslims who commit violence in the name of Islam and justify it by reference to Islamic teachings.
The SPLC doesn’t do that because its objective is not really to stop “Islamophobia” at all, but to create the illusion of a powerful and moneyed network of “Islamophobes,” who can only be stopped if you write a check to the SPLC. That’s what this is really all about.
In constructing this illusory edifice, the SPLC labels me and fourteen others “anti-Muslim extremists.” We are, of course, no more “anti-Muslim” than foes of the Nazis were anti-German, but note the word “extremists.” That’s the mainstream media and Obama administration’s term of choice for jihad terrorists. In what way are we “extremists”? Has anyone on the SPLC’s hit list (and given the SPLC’s track record of inciting violence against its targets, that is exactly what it is) ever blown anything or anyone up? Beheaded anyone? Boasted of our imminent conquest of any territory and the massacre of or enslavement of its people? No, all we have done is speak critically about jihad terror and Sharia oppression. The SPLC is trying to further the libel that we are the other side of the coin, the non-Muslim bin Ladens and Awlakis. Until we commit any terror attacks or conspire with others to do so, however, the SPLC’s libel is only that: a libel.

He’s arrogant, dumb and brimming with bright ideas like just giving Iran money or splitting Iraq into little pieces. Obviously this wouldn’t be a competency pick. The last time we had someone qualified as Secretary of State was during President Bush’s time in office.
Then Democrats decided they would give the job as a consolation prize to failed presidential candidates. Because our foreign policy is just that important.

Elements of the British establishment in Whitehall think their own soldiers are “bad,” and terrorists are “freedom fighters,” according to General Lord Richards, former Chief of the Defence Staff and the UK’s most senior military officer.
Over several years these ministers, permanent secretaries, generals, admirals and air marshals have been swept aside in pursuit of a corrosive drive to discredit our troops. It is the first time in history that any government has turned on its own armed forces in such a way.
The overwhelming majority are motivated by a combination of greed and anti-British vindictiveness by the Iraqi and Afghan accusers and by their British lawyers, using taxpayers’ money.
This can only further undermine our national will to engage in future conflict in defence of our people or to support our allies, including the US, thus weakening the Western world. That of course is the main objective of the politically driven lawyers and others involved in hounding our troops.
We can be sure that their motive for favouring enemy “freedom fighters” over our own forces is a desire to appease radical Muslims both at home and abroad, which infects so much of Europe’s political elite and mainstream media.
It is vital for our country and the world that the Prime Minister ends this cowardly and dangerous cult of appeasement, stands up for our Western Judeo-Christian values above all others, and defends our soldiers with as much courage as they show in defending us. Before long the same administration that declared the fighting in Iraq over several times will claim victory over ISIS. The timetable for its push against the Islamic State appears to have less do with the victimized Christians and Yazidis who have been prevented from coming here as refugees in favor of Syrian Muslims than with the Clinton presidential campaign. Like Obama’s declarations that the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were over, the announcement that ISIS has been defeated will be premature.
It is based on a profound misunderstanding and misreading of Islamic terrorism.
Long before its current string of defeats, ISIS had begun evolving into another Al Qaeda; a multinational alliance of Jihadists scattered around the world. Bombing Mosul isn’t hard, but try bombing Marseille, Brussels or London. There is no doubt that the ability of ISIS to temporarily establish a caliphate allowed it to build a network that could carry out terror attacks from New York to Miami to Nice to Munich. But it would be dangerous to assume that losing Iraq and Syria will stop ISIS.
ISIS doesn’t matter. The idea of ISIS does. And the idea of ISIS is Islamic supremacism.
The organization we think of ISIS has transformed and rebranded countless times. Even now our leaders vacillate between calling it ISIS, ISIL or, more childishly, Daesh, while it dubs itself the Islamic State. We have been fighting it in one form or another for over a decade. It would be unrealistically optimistic to assume that the war will end just as this old enemy has shown its ability to strike deep in our own cities.

The Psychopathic and Insincere Jihad
Islam’s natural appeal to “criminals, psychopaths, and murderers.”
Whenever Muslims engage in behavior that ostensibly contradicts Islam—from taking drugs and watching porn to killing fellow Muslims—Islam’s apologists loudly proclaim “Aha, see, they’re not true Muslims!” Or, in the words of CIA head John Brennan on the Islamic State: “They are terrorists, they’re criminals. Most—many—of them are psychopathic thugs, murderers who use a religious concept and masquerade and mask themselves in that religious construct.”
Overlooked is that many self-styled jihadis are indeed “psychopathic thugs, murderers”; some may not even believe in Allah at all. Yet this does not exonerate Islam, for its “religious construct” was designed to entice such men.
As usual, this traces back to the prophet, Muhammad. After telling his followers that Allah had permitted Muslims four wives and limitless concubines (Koran 4:3), he later claimed that Allah had delivered a new revelation (Koran 33.51) permitting him, Muhammad alone, to marry and sleep with as many women as he wanted. In response, his young wife Aisha quipped: “I feel that your Lord hastens in fulfilling your wishes and desires.” (Apostates from Islam regularly cite this episode as especially disenchanting them with the prophet.)
But it is the concept of jihad that especially comports with those who seek to indulge their carnal appetites. For whoever fights in the name of Allah and/or seeks to empower Islam—that is, jihadis/terrorists—is exonerated of all blame and, if he dies fighting, guaranteed the highest levels of paradise (where more sex awaits).

When a liberal woman declares she’s a strong woman (usually uttered in a tart-like, staccato inflection), she’s using a cliché. Look at her actions. You’ll see that “strong” to liberal distaff means kicking and screaming until she brings others into compliance with her worldview and ways.
A “strong” liberal woman is one who hammers you about your obligation to fork-out for her Trojans and her Trivora. And if birth control fails our liberated libertine, then you’re on the hook for her abortions and abortifacients. And don’t dare doubt any of the intemperate charges leveled by this prototype liberal succubus against a man, any man. To doubt her is to harm her.

WikiLeaks Uncovers Memo of Bill Clinton’s Aides on High-Priced Speeches
WikiLeaks released a 2011 memo sent by Doug Band. The memo, titled “Attorney-Client Privilege,” was sent to two attorneys reviewing the Clinton Foundation and how it was run.
The memo outlines the lucrative speeches former President Bill Clinton gave between 2001 and 2011. The speeches provided $30 million to Clinton and an addition $66 million that were contingent on current engagements that would be paid out over nine years.
The memo mentions a $2 million two-year deal with Swiss UBS.
The Clintons making money on speeches is widely known. There were reports by CNN that the Clintons earned $153 million in speaking fees.
Band, a partner in Teneo Holdings, discussed how he helped the Foundation by securing donations from Coca-Cola, Barclays and Dow Chemical. Bill Clinton served on Teneo’s board in 2012 for a period of one year.
The memo was sent to three close aides, John Podesta, Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton.
Teneo was quick to announce on Wednesday that the company never benefitted from working alongside the Clinton Foundation. The company, which employs over 500 people, stated that they never received a “financial benefit” from working with the Foundation.
The company “encouraged” clients to donate to the Foundation, according to the company due to the charity’s work around the world.

The Federal Bureau of Investigations will reopen the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server exclusively during her time as Secretary of State.
In a letter to Congress, FBI director James B. Comey revealed that the bureau had learned of more emails connected to the investigation.
“I am writing to inform you that the investigative team briefed by on this yesterday, and I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation,” Comey wrote.
Previously, Comey testified that the investigation was closed, but said that “recent developments” caused him to “supplement” his testimony.

“One in ten school students in Gothenburg’s north-eastern suburbs sympathize with religious extremist organizations, according to a survey carried out by Swedish non-profit organization Varken Hora eller Kuvad.
“I was completely shocked when I saw the result. I perhaps would have guessed one percent. I’m speechless,” Guluzar Tarhan Selvi, acting project manager at Varken Hora eller Kuvad told Swedish newspaper Göteborgs-Posten (GP).
The Swedish government’s national coordinator against violent extremism said she was not hugely surprised by the number however.
“The study was carried out in some of the areas where we know there are people who have travelled to join Isis in Syria,” Hillevi Engström said.
And the MP insisted it is good that more facts about support for extremist organizations are coming to light.
“You have to put forward all the facts and after that start prevention work early, and speak about everyone’s equal value and human rights in school. It’s also to do with alienation. Many people have a feeling that they don’t belong to society,” she added.
Robert Hannah, a Swedish MP of the centre-right Liberals who grew up in north-eastern Gothenburg, said the study confirmed the city is divided.
“The study proves what we have known for a long time already: Gothenburg is one of the most segregated cities in Europe,” he said.
“In some of Gothenburg’s segregated neighbourhoods radical Islamists are poisoning the kids to believe that the Isis genocide against Christians and Yezidis was right and that terrorism is a good thing. You can hear religious slang in almost every school in these neighbourhoods nowadays. For example the word ‘kaffir’, which is a derogatory term Isis and others use, and people who have left the neighbourhoods to join Isis are considered heroes by some,” he added.
The survey took in responses from 1200 school students aged 12-18 in socially and economically challenged areas in Gothenburg, of which 11 percent said they felt sympathy for religious extremists, and 13 percent said they know someone with those kind of sympathies.
An earlier study carried out by the same organization in Stockholm was criticized for not being properly academically reviewed. The Gothenburg study was therefore analyzed by, among others, Hans Ekbrand, a professor at the Gothenburg University department of sociology and work science.
“The study shouldn’t be seen as a picture of the whole city because it was done in those areas and schools where the problem is believed to be at its worst. At the same time, if over 130 students answer that they sympathize with Isis or similar extremists, that’s in itself a lot, and a figure that of course should be taken seriously,” Ekbrand told GP.
And Liberal MP Hannah insisted that an investigation on the spread of radical Islam in the affected neighbourhoods is needed.
“Gothenburg needs a crisis investigation to stop the spread of radical Islam in these neighbourhoods. Radical organizations should not be given grants, and schools with religious profiles must be banned,” he proposed.
“However I’m not hopeful that the necessary changes will come since the current government are still in denial about how threatening the situation in Gothenburg actually is.””

“The Danish ex-editor who commissioned the Mohammed cartoons that triggered deadly protests a decade ago on Friday accused the Jyllands-Posten newspaper of trying to silence him, saying it had let “the jihadists” win.
In a book to be released on Monday, titled “De besatte” (“The obsessed”), Flemming Rose accuses the paper’s management of hypocrisy, claiming it backed him in public while doing everything it could to silence him in private.
“The drama and tragedy is that the only ones who have won are the jihadists,” he told the weekly Weekendavisen newspaper.
Rose said that rules for what he could say and write about the controversial cartoons and related subjects had been outlined in a 2011 agreement proposed by former editor-in-chief Jørn Mikkelsen, the former chief executive of the company that owned the paper, Lars Munch, and the company’s
former chairman Jørgen Ejbøl.
Among the rules were a ban on taking part in TV and radio programmes and refraining from commenting on the cartoons.
Rose, who left the paper last year, also said he had been accused of being “deeply disloyal” and “obsessed” with the debate prompted by the cartoons.
“You have grandchildren, don’t you think about them?” Ejbøl is alleged to have said in 2015 after Rose agreed to interview the Dutch and anti-Islam politician Geert Wilders at a public event.
Jyllands-Posten’s owner, JP/Politikens Hus, did not comment on the book, but Munch, now the group’s chairman, said in a statement that “it wasn’t about Flemming Rose, it was about the safety of more than 2,000 loyal employees.”
Rose was the culture editor of the right-wing Jyllands-Posten in 2005 when he commissioned 12 satirical cartoons of the Islamic prophet, triggering deadly protests in some Muslim countries.
The cartoons were also published in 2006 in French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo, where Islamist gunmen killed 12 people last year.
Rose, 58, still lives under police protection because of death threats made against him, and there have been numerous foiled terror plots against Jyllands-Posten, which has had to take extensive security measures.”
