A mosque appropriately named, The End of the World, is headed towards the North Pole. I think it should be named, ‘The End of any Chance for development or prosperity’ but the end of the world will do as that is what they, the Muslims, seem to want and very probably it is what they will get.

(ANSAmed) – ROME, SEPTEMBER 15 -After a 4-thousand-kilometre-long land and river ways journey , the mosque called the ”End of the World” will arrive on a ship at its destination, the Canadian town of Inuvik in the extreme far north of Canada, 200 kilometres from the North Pole.
The population of Inuvik is 4000 people including about one hundred Muslims. Muslims in the small town – reports Al Arabyya – had been used to praying in a small transportable building, said the architect Ahmed Alkhalef, who added that when the mosque arrives on September 24 the Muslims living in Inuvik will be able to pray together, whereas in the last prayer only about twenty people took part since the house-mosque did not have the space for everyone. The first prayer of the new mosque, built according to a Canadian architectural style and commissioned by a wealthy Saudi national (the total cost was about 100,000 dollars) is scheduled for November 1. Now all we need to do is change the signposts from Mecca to the “end of the world” and organise a hajj. I think also this is a respectful distance from ground zero.
How can you stop a wealthy Saudi national from footing the bill for a small Mosque in Inuvik? You can’t, I guess. Or not on this planet, anyway. But still, it bothers me. Why should we allow this Saudi national to build a Mosque in Inuvik, when to build a church in his country would warrant the death penalty. How many people are they going to convert up there? There’s nothing friendly about this, and he damn well knows it. I think it’s safe to say that a gift from the Saudis is always a Trojan Horse. They do not mean us well.

I think it would be a good idea, as we need a change. We have lost our identity. Islam is the solution now. So lets look into it. Not bad as you think.
The figures about the islamic terrorist attacks is wrong on the top right. Lets look at how many innocent people our government has killed, how many countries occuped ? before judges others
Islam doesn’t coerce people into change that they resist…some values in Islam might require logic and thinking, some needs ‘spiritual feeling’ as pracitice in sufism, to understand them…to understand Islam, one needs cross-boundary intelligence and wisdom because the current view of the situation is not the same as the better view of the situation…because Islam is more than thinking…logic only, cannot answer what Islam is all about…Islam is total submission to Allah.
