Here is a pointless story about how “Muslim Scientists” invented a pork-o-meter for food, so they can tell if someone is trying to feed them something not halal. The story itself is uninteresting really other than why not first use that time and resource to maybe invent a cure for a disease, but the comments are wonderful. Click over and read the comments.
I think I will get one of these kits so I can be sure my ham sandwich really is ham and not halal veal or something.
Hugh Fitzgerald has written a few times about how mahoundians in Kazakhstan, due to living for 70 years under forced Soviet secular rule, are mostly mahoundians in name only. While inventing a pork-o-meter is indeed pointless, mahoundians in North Africa, Porkistan, Malaysia and the Middle East cannot even come up with something like that. Hell, if it weren’t for infidels working in Opensewerabia, the Saudis themselves would never be able to even get their crude out of the ground for both lack of skills and their inherent insh’allah-certified laziness.
Why is it I can never get a pork kebab?
I don’t consider the comments to be all that good.
