1. Sexual harassment in Saudi Arabia

(Just this once I am partly on board with the Ferengi view on women’s clothing. Dressing all women in sacks is at least partially to blame for this behavior as they become generic sexual receptacles and not individuals hence not people.)

2. Swedish girls ‘forced’ abroad to join Isis

Sweden’s Security Service has expressed concerns about a rapid rise in the number of Swedes heading to Iraq and Syria to fight for Isis, as Sweden’s official coordinator against violent extremism suggests some girls are being forced to make the journey.

It does not take a theological scholar to figure out that the Quran is not a book of peace and it makes no sense that the Pope would be so utterly in the dark about the religion of Islam. It also makes no sense for the President of the United States to be so friendly with the Muslim Brotherhood while being hostile to most America’s allies, while doing what he can to ruin the American economy as he creates the conditions for an unnecessary race war. It also makes no sense, the way the mainstream media loses interest so quickly in the important stories while remaining focused on climate change and Kim Kardashian’s ass. It also makes no sense for our universities to be so darn hospitable to things like “Israel Apartheid Week”.

It’s almost as if an unseen enemy is waging some sort of covert war against us. Do you think…?

4. *** ISIS ‘Firing Squad’ Executes Two Female Iraqi Parliament Members in Mosul ***

The two female candidates, who were former members of the Iraqi parliament were taken into custody by ISIS three months back. The Sharia court that tried the two women and found them guilty of unlawful activities against ISIS. The two were arrested by ISIS for their work with the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).

The Iraqi women were members of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and since ISIS considers the Kurds as infidels, any alliance with them could end with a death penalty.

The local report claims that following their trial, the two women had confessed to their crimes. The Sharia court however refused to accept their apology and ordered them to be executed by a firing squad instead.

5. Nigeria’s ‘Boko Haram attacks Maiduguri and Damaturu’

Suspected Boko Haram militants have struck in two state capitals in north-east Nigeria, with suicide attacks by female bombers in Maiduguri and a raid on a police base in Damaturu.

At least five people were killed in the twin blasts at a crowded market in Maiduguri, police said.

In Damaturu, explosions and gunfire were heard as militants rampaged through the city, residents said.

Boko Haram has vowed to create an Islamic state in areas it controls.

    The documentary titled “Islam vs. Islamists,” was produced by ABG Films with $675,000 in public funds from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. It was originally slated to run as part of PBS’ “America at a Crossroads” series. However, after viewing the film PBS executives told the filmmakers that it was “alarmist” and “overreaching” and that PBS would not run it.

    In a video-clip posted on the Internet on November 26, 2014, students at the Jamia Hafsa women’s seminary in Islamabad, Pakistan, conveyed a message congratulating Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi on the establishment of the Islamic Caliphate and calling upon the mujahideen to avenge the death of Sheik Osama Bin Laden.

      If you look closely at these cattle in their “tents” you can see little openings in the fabric at the front and the back at about waist level. These give the Muslim male quick access to the vagina and anus of their “precious little Islamic jewels”……the Muslim female; a life support system for a vagina and anus, the only things valued by the Muslim male……that and the life support systems domestic skill and the ability to bounce back from a good ass-kicking……

  6. OTTAWA – RCMP unlikely to release Zehaf-Bibeau video: Commissioner

    The head of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police is backtracking on his initial promise to release a video he says was taken by Ottawa gunman Michael Zehaf-Bibeau.

    Commissioner Bob Paulson said Monday he now “hopes” to release a transcript containing some of Zehaf-Bibeau’s remarks.

    “I said that I’d hoped to be able to release the video. But I think it forms a central part of the evidence. I think we need to think thoroughly through the benefits and the merits of releasing the video,” Paulson said. “I think that we may look at releasing some aspects of the transcript of the video.”

  8. Iran: A dozen women stabbed and injured by Basij in southern city

    A number of young Iranian women, including at least five university students, have been stabbed in their hips with knives in past few days in the southern city of Jahrom.

    According to information received from a source in Jahrom, about a dozen women have been victim of the violent attacks.

    The women were attacked by at least four men riding on motorcycles.

    The local officials have acknowledged that at least six women have been injured in this wave of attacks and they include five university students.

    Sources in the city said the university students have identified one attacker who is affiliated with the paramilitary Basij Force.

    Mohamad Beheshtifar was identified through recorded footage from a security camera near where he attacked one victim.

    Mohamad Beheshtifar’s father is IRGC Colonel Jalil Beheshtifar who heads the Basij force in Ghotbabad district in Jahrom County, south of the city of Jahrom.

    This criminal act followed recent protests by 300 students in Jahrom University where students protested against the suppressive measures in the university.

    The attacks on university students are also taking place as university students across Iran are expected to take part in the annual protest on the occasion of Student Day on December 7 – known locally as 16 Azar – to demand political freedom in Iran.

    The Iranian regime officials in the city were forced to arrest the man after his identity had been revealed.

    The attacker has said he had been motivated to attack after one cleric has said “killing of a Bad-Hejab (improperly veiled women) is permissible” and he has done this to act to “prevent vice”.

    Earlier this month the Iranian regime’s parliament approved a bill officially putting the members of the Basij paramilitary force in charge of enforcing dress code in Iran and harassing and repressing women and youth in public under the pretext of “Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice”.

    The law which passed with a majority institutionalized the work of members of the Basij paramilitaries that often patrol streets to enforce dress code and other behavior prescribed under the clerical regime’s misogynist laws.

    The new law bolsters the work of the Basij members who often patrol streets and stop cars to interrogate couples about their relationships, to the resentment of many Iranians.

    Acid attacks began after the Iranian regime’s parliament began reviewing bills empowering the Basij paramilitaries.

  9. CHINA – Muslim prayers banned in govt buildings, schools in Xinjiang

    BEIJING: The restive Xinjiang region in western China has banned prayer meetings and other religious practices in government buildings, schools and business offices. It has also imposed steep fines on the use of mobile phones and Internet to disseminate messages that ‘undermine national unity’.

    Religious activities will now be restricted only to take place in registered venues like mosques. The new rules also disallow people from wearing or forcing others to wear clothes or logos associated with religious extremism.

    But it was not clear what types of clothes and logos are being targeted.

    The government’s orders will affect Muslim employees, many of whom are known to conduct at least two of the day’s five prayers in quite areas of office buildings during a work day, informed sources said. Many Muslims are also known to use mobile phones and computers to study or practice religion hymns, which are embedded in alarm clock and other software.

    “An increasing number of problems involving religious affairs have emerged in Xinjiang,” Ma Mingcheng, deputy director of the Xinjiang People’s Congress and director of its legislative affairs committee, told the local media.

    Chinese officials have earlier said that Xinjiang has seen a sharp growth in religious fundamentalism, which may be affecting young minds and turning some of them towards terrorism. The region, which borders Pakistan, is a hotbed of a violent separatist movement run by the East Turkmenistan Islamic Movement.

    The new rules, which come into effect January 1, also prohibit people from distributing and viewing videos about jihad, or holy war, religious extremism and terrorism in or outside religious venues, and requires religious leaders to report such activities to the local authorities and police.

    The region’s local parliament passed a law on Friday stipulating penalties of between 5,000 and 30,000 yuan ($4,884) for individuals who use the Internet, mobile phones or digital publishing to undermine national unity, social stability or incite ethnic hatred.

    The last major case of violence took place Shache county near the Pakistan border on Friday when 15 people were killed. Four were killed in knife attacks by the ultras, and 11 “mobsters” were killed by the police.

    Last March, knife-wielding militants from Xinjiang killed 31 people and injured 141 at the Kunming railway station in southwest Yunnan province.

    “An attack by suspected ISIS militants on a border guard base near the Syrian border left at least 16 killed and four others seriously wounded according to Faleh al-Issawi, the deputy head of the Anbar provincial council in Iraq. The militants slaughtered the 16 border guards, including their commanding officer, in a surprise early morning attack on Monday, al-Issawi said. Four others are in critical condition, he said. The base attacked is near al-Waleed border crossing, the only crossing Iraq has with Syria that is still controlled by Iraqi forces. ISIS maintains control of almost all of Anbar — Iraq’s largest province.”

  11. AZERBAIJAN – Azerbaijani Suspected Of Mosque Arson Allegedly Fought With Kurds Against IS

    An Azerbaijani national arrested on December 1 on suspicion of attempting to set fire to a Baku mosque is alleged to have fought with a Kurdish militia against the Islamic State (IS) extremist group in the Syrian town of Kobani.

    The suspect, named as Namig Nasibov, was arrested together with another man, Elnur Alakbarov.

    According to Azerbaijani news reports, Nasibov fought in Syria in August and September with the “terrorist PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party).”

    Other reports described Nasibov, and his accomplices, as “terrorists,” describing how he allegedly used social networks to call for rallies in Baku and were plotting to intimidate Sunni Muslims by carrying out terrorist attacks. The reports allege that on November 26, Nasibov and an accomplice threw firebombs at a mosque in Garachukhur, Baku.

    […]The reports also indicate that Azerbaijani nationals are fighting on both sides in Kobani. Previously, evidence has emerged that Azerbaijani nationals are fighting with IS militants in or near the besieged Syrian town. Azerbaijanis are also fighting with IS elsewhere in Syria and also in Iraq. Azerbaijan has also arrested several nationals for allegedly joining IS in Syria.

    If the allegations that Nasibov was fighting in Syria are true, it could indicate that more Azerbaijanis are fighting with Kurdish militias in Syria against IS. While Nasibov’s ethnic identity is not known, it is possible that such fighters could come from Azerbaijan’s Kurdish community. Azerbaijan’s Kurdish community in 2011 was estimated at around 70,000, or less than 1 percent of the total population. However, most Azeri Kurds reportedly no longer consider themselves Kurdish. The Kurdish stand against IS in Syria and Iraq could reinvigorate a sense of Kurdish identity elsewhere, including in Azerbaijan.

  14. CANADA – Victoria BC – Two Muslim Students from Saudi Arabia face charges after fake gun pointed at couple in Victoria

    In a case Victoria police spokesman Const. Mike Russell called “people doing stupid things,” two students from Saudi Arabia have been charged with pointing a firearm at a couple strolling down Store Street last week.

    Meshal Alharbi and Mohammad Alhussain, both 23, turned themselves over police on the evening of Nov. 20. They were arrested and charged with carrying a replica firearm for a dangerous purpose, pointing a firearm, assault with a firearm, using a replica firearm to threaten and assault, and threatening to cause death or bodily harm.

    Alharbi is also charged with carrying a concealed restricted weapon and having his face masked with intent to commit an offence.

    Victoria provincial court Judge Ernie Quantz released both men on $10,000 bail and ordered them to surrender their passports to the court registry, where they will be kept until a further court order.

    After his decision, Quantz told Alhussain that Canada is a very welcoming country to newcomers and students.

    “No matter what you might hear out there, our expectation is that you follow the law and that you make a positive contribution to the country,” Quantz said.

    The judge suggested the students comply with all the conditions of their bail orders and make a contribution to the community by volunteering as their case makes its way through the court system. “If you do this, it will help you a lot,” said Quantz.

    An Arabic translator was in the courtroom for the bail hearing.

    On Nov. 20 about 9:30 p.m., a man and his girlfriend were walking in the 2000-block of Store Street when a black car pulled up beside them, Russell said.

    A man in the front passenger seat, who had his face concealed, rolled down the window and pointed a black Airsoft pistol directly at the couple, he said.

    The terrified couple ran to safety. Two suspects fled the scene.

    The suspects later dropped their car off in the 800-block of View Street and walked to the police station to explain their actions, Russell said. An officer standing outside the police station recognized them and they were arrested.

    Police found the replica firearm in the inside jacket pocket of one of the suspects.

    Quantz ordered Alharbi and Alhussain to remain in B.C., to obey a 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew, not to possess any weapons and to attend school regularly.

    Quantz also ordered them not to have contact, directly or indirectly, with each other.

    However, Alharbi is allowed to go in the company of a police officer to pick up his belongings from Alhussain’s residence.

    Their next court appearance has been scheduled for Dec. 10.
