1. This is a request. I want to crowd source an idea. Many people have started to pierce the media veil (pun fully intended) on the true nature of Islam and its consequences and want to find resources to get up to speed. I would like to create a separate page on this site which would contain a list of links to essays and videos which would be basically primers on the nature and thinking of Islam for novices. One of the problems of running a site like this is that it is basically for a group that is fairly sophisticated in its understanding of these issues. But we need to help people understand this issue who have just begun to notice that they are being deceived by media and governments. Please leave ideas in comments and remember, I want materials that are simple, clear and for beginners on understanding how Islam actually works.
2. Below the more tag, 2 videos on modern views of communism in Canada from SUN TV. Quite interesting I think. Jason Kenney, a senior cabinet minister in Canada’s Harper Government and Prime Minister Harper both speak reminding me that I am lucky enough to live in what may be the country that, more than any other in the world, is willing to say what is true and important as opposed to what is fashionable and post-modern.

A RECRUITMENT agency boss has blasted Essex County Council’s much-lauded apprenticeship scheme for apparently discriminating against British white people.
Ben Drain, managing director of Get Me Group, learnt of the policy as he looked into the authority’s £2,500 grant for employers taking on an apprentice.
He said: “I think it is outrageous that our own council is discriminating against young white British people – and encouraging employers to positively discriminate against them.

Minister Jason Kenney speaks on new Canadian monument to the victims of communism:

I started exploring islamic orthodoxies in an effort to disprove disturbing accusations levelled at islam…all of which proved true.
Islam’s orthodoxies seem in the main to reside in the jurisprudence of the sharia, the five major fiqh schools.
This proved a handy reference: http://www.shafiifiqh.com/maktabah/relianceoftraveller.pdf
Thank you Alex for that download.
“1.2 The question arises. Is it possible for the mind alone, unaided by Allah’s messengers and revealed scriptures, to know rulings, such that someone not reached by a prophet’s invitation would be able through his own reason to know Allah’s rule concerning his actions? Or is this impossible?
a1.3 The position of the Asharis, the followers of Abul Hasan Ash’ari, is that the mind is unable to know the rule of Allah about the acts of those morally responsible except by means of His messengers
and inspired books.
“…the mind is unable to know the rule of Allah.”
This is true: Whatever you ascribe to The Maker of the fighting-over-each-other to exploit-a-niche-in-the-world-for-a-while effort; whatever you conceive Him to be; you don’t know His Mind – because there isn’t A Plan.
But you do know the minds of the crooks who say they do. They speak the same language as economists to exploit human beings on a world-wide scale by making laws you have to follow and the quantitative easing theft they don’t. You now then know The Rule of Muhammad: one thing for you, another thing for himself. Nothing to do with lifting up and waving the prop of knowing Allah’s Mind. That is just misdirection.
Ali Sina wrote an excellent book Understanding Muhammad. Every dictators Guide Book.

Even the Christians admits they do not know the Mind of God but make a leap of faith into the Mysteries of Three Persons in One and pay the priests for their blessing.
Like the animals, we can second-guess one another to an extent. To intimidate a child into religion, is like shooting in a barrel.
“I started exploring islamic orthodoxies in an effort to disprove disturbing accusations levelled at islam…all of which proved true.”
Me too. I was a Leftist intent on defending islam/muslims more effectively in discussions.
Within weeks the veil of delusion and lies feel from my eyes (after decades of believing the Leftist media were telling me the truth). Now I am glad the Leftist media continue to lie and censor comments from those who tell the truth. The Left live in a small bubble and are clueless about the transformation sweeping western Europe.
Thank you. This helps prove to me that if leftist/islamic propaganda can subvert an entire population using fallacious reasoning over a period of 100 years or so, people can be brought back to truth, logic and reason in weeks if exposed to facts.
So now we know what we have to do.
Funny how often that happens Alex.
An Ottawa Systems analyst actually started a research project to try and discredit critics of Islam. He ended up writing a very interesting critique of Islam from the perspective of systems analysis. Its called, Pain Predjudice and Passion. Something like that, by Bernard Payeur I believe. (Sorry I am very bad with names)
He had teh same experience though. Wanted to put down the evil Islamophobes to find out that actually they were understating, in most cases, the problem.
I don’t doubt my experience is common given the actual nature of islam’s tenets. I previously, not particularily interested in religions, superficially assumed the world’s major religion’s all taught essentially the same concepts. That seems particularilly idiotic now, and those fallacious assumptions desolved quickly when effort was directed toward learning what is contained in islam’s doctrines and dogmas.
What seems important now, creating vehicles that illuminate the filth of islam, for the general populations of non-believers.
I thought that way too, Alex.

Nicolai
Straight away, I thought of Sam Shamoun’s video series “Challenge of Islam” but just now, I watched the beginning and unfortunately, he says that God and Allah are one being. That IS the Muslim doctrine but it isn’t really true.
My next thought was to recommend some of Nicolai Sennels’ work. It requires intelligent reading, but it is worth it. He explains how DIFFERENT the Islamic version of ethics is. Just learning the different attitudes to child-rearing makes sense of so much, such as the Muslim’s “external locus of control”. A “westerner” sees Islamic behaviour as immature and petty, due to their lack of restraint (like a child’s) while they see our lack of violent reaction as weakness. Sennels’ analysis of these matters is very valuable to the subset of readers who want to know WHY Muslims are so different.
Nabeel Qureshi has a short series of videos explaining Islam. As he was raised an Ahmadi, his video series is sympathetic to Muslims.
Please urge all readers to read the whole Qur’an in at least one translation, with commentary. I read 3, in 2012. Detailed commentaries were E.M. Wherry’s commentary on Sale’s translation, available at: http://www.answering-islam.org/Books/Wherry/Commentary1/index.htm
and Maududi’s: http://englishtafsir.com/Quran/1/index.html
Simpler introduction to reading this sort of thing at: http://www.inthenameofallah.org/quran.html
I have not yet read the Hilali Khan Qur’an with footnotes and some cross-references, but it looks excellent as a souurce of current Muslim commentary on the Qur’an. At present, it is here: http://muttaqun.com/files/PDF/The_Holy_Quran_English_Arabic.pdf
A video, showing WHY Muslim parents led their kids die in jihad, was made by Ayaan Hirsi Ali. It can be seen at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=fe_cuzsmmHU#t=2
Again, better understanding of some of the basic philosophy made things simpler for me. I find it easier to keep in mind a set of related facts, rather than a set of unrelated facts. I think many other people will find the same is true for them.
While some readers prefer not to read Bible-based critiques of Islam, many will benefit happily from such material. I recommend Walid Shoebat’s material”. He explains much Muslim behaviour from its religious basis in Islamic theology, comparing it to Bible theology. Again, having a framework helps me understand current affairs. I can assess it thus; if I believed THAT about the world and about life after death, maybe I might behave that same way!! After all, Muslims are human, not Martians. It is their belief system that makes them behave so oddly, to the extent that they really believe it.
Ah! A very valuable resource, for those starting out and for the old warriors, is Bill Warner’s material, both video and text: http://www.politicalislam.com/
All his videos are good. Basic ones include “Why we are afraid” and “A Rational Study of Radical Islam” and “A Taste of Islam”.
Maybe this website can be of some worth.
It explains in simple language what Islam consists of and what motivates modern day muslims.

JULY 25 2014 – Nasrallah vows ‘all means of support’ for Gaza
Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah Friday vowed “all means of support” to the Palestinian resistance in its battle with Israel, saying the latter had failed miserably in the 18-day conflict in Gaza.
Nasrallah, in a rare public appearance in Al-Suhadaa Complex in Beirut’s southern suburbs, also spoke out against recent developments in Iraq and the establishment of the so-called Islamic caliphate by ISIS, saying: “Our duty as Muslims today is to condemn what Christians and Muslims are facing in Iraq.”
Speaking on Jerusalem Day, Nasrallah warned Israel against expanding its offensive in Gaza, saying the resistance in the enclave had already won the fighting.
“We, in Hezbollah, stand beside the Palestinian people and the Palestinian resistance without an exception. We will not spare any means of support that we can and are able to provide,” Nasrallah said. “We feel that we are true partners with the Palestinian resistance. … Your victory is our own.”
He said the party was closely following up political and field developments in Gaza, where more than 830 Palestinians have been killed since Israel launched its offensive on the coast strip.
“To the Zionist I say: In Gaza, you are moving in a circle of failure and do not go to the circle of suicide or a total collapse,” he said.
“Iran, Syria and the resistance in Lebanon, primarily Hezbollah, as much as we could, never neglected to support the resistance in Palestine on the political, media, psychological, logistical and arms support.”
Nasrallah commended the resistance in Gaza for its steadfastness, saying it had changed the rules of engagement, adopting a tripartite formula “similar to the golden equation functioning in Lebanon.”
The formula, Nasrallah explained, rested on three main pillars: fighting on the field, the people’s steadfastness and political resoluteness.
“With this formula, the resistance succeeded in imposing new methods on the enemy and that’s not easy for someone like [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu to admit,” he said.
He stressed that the resistance should remain resolute on achieving its goals from this conflict, primarily ending the siege on Gaza, saying Hamas had shown creativity on the field, in its ability to fight behind enemy lines and in firing rockets into locations in an unprecedented development.
“From the very first day, they hit Tel Aviv in the first rocket launching from Palestinian territories into Palestinian territories and covering the entire Palestinian landscape,” he said. “At the end, the resistance will eventually force Israel to look for a solution, similar to what happened in 2006.”
During the 18-day conflict, the most serious since 2012 between Israel and Hamas, the latter has not observed any of the cease-fire deals including a truce drafted by Egypt to end the hostilities.
Nasrallah said Hamas remained defiant “despite some Arab leaders’ calls to Israel encouraging them to continue with its operation.”

========================================================
Minute-by minute speech of Sayyed Nasrallah on International Quds Day
17:54 – Zionists knew they could not quash the Palestinian people in a year or within a generation. For, a long-term scheme was plotted in a bid to reach this goal
17:59 – Zionists tried to create a central cause and enemies for each Arab country, in a bid for this nation to forget Palestine
18:03 – Zionists worked to isolate the Palestinian people and to involve them in several conflicts in order to reach a stage in which people no more worry about Palestine
18:08 – when a Palestinian blew himself up (in Syria and Iraq), it’s not in vain but it is in a bid to create enmity with Palestinians
18:12 – Despite these conspiracies, Palestinian cause is still imposing itself, and what’s coming on in Gaza is a proof
18:15 – The (main) reasons of the Palestinian cause’s persistence are the triumph of the Islamic revolution in Iran and the steadfastness of Syria in face of the concpiracies
18:18 – When we talk about conspiracies to wipe out the Palestinian cause, we are talking about an Israeli-US-Western plot backed by several Arab regimes
18:20 – the stage we are passing through today is the most dangerous one since Palestine’s occupation. Previously we were talking about destroying states and regimes, but today they are working to destroy the people
Syria was and will still be the incubator of the resistance and the impregnable wall in face of the Zionist scheme
Zionists’ only concern since (Imam Khomeini’s announcement) was to wipe out the Palestinian cause.

Talk is cheap, Nasrallah.
Ashamed to ask, but that seldom stops me: What does “post-modern” mean?
To answer this properly would take a lot of writing. I can suggest the excellent book, Human Accomplishment by Charles Murray which has a chapter or two exactly on that and you have already watched the Bill Whittle video on the origins of political correctness so that’s a great start.
In summary, its the kind of reasoning that is born of political correctness. The ideas of moral relativism and PC are post modern methods of thinking. What I call, ‘Intellectual slight of hand’. The idea that because there is no truth there must therefore be no facts, that is a post modern idea. Its nonsense but there you have it. When you hear people say for example, “Christians used to do XXXYYY too! so why are you attacking Islam for that” is a totally post modern kind of thinking and its the dominant meme at universities today.
It is well worth reading Charles Murray on this though. He explains its origins in the artistic world, how various artists decided to show contempt for classical technique and subjects and become contemptuous of both the art and the audience in order to bring down the temple for a fresh start, perfectly in line with Frankfurt school thought such as we see today in the US president’s attempt to overwhelm government systems by flooding the country with thousands upon thousands of people who will need very expensive care and will contribute nothing.
Very confusing, probably because it’s meant to be.

Netherlands – The Hague mayor urged to get tough after anti-Jewish chanting at rally
Friday 25 July 2014
The Hague’s mayor Jozias van Aartsen is being urged to get tough on anti-Jewish demonstrators after people were heard chanting ‘death to Jews’ at a protest rally in the city on Thursday evening.
During the rally, in which some of the 100 protesters carried pro-Isis flags, Muslim youngsters were heard to shout ‘death to all Jews’, news magazine Elsevier reports.
Esther Voet of the Israel information centre CIDI said on Twitter: ‘people who made themselves unrecognisable, Isis flags, death to Jews and journalists take to safety. The Netherlands 2014.’
Police
Despite the anti-Jewish sentiment in some of the speeches, the police only got involved when a female journalist was verbally attacked by some of the demonstrators, the Telegraph says.
Many of the demonstrators had covered their faces – which is now illegal in Dutch law.
A spokesman for Van Aartsen told local broadcaster Omroep West no boundaries had been overstepped. ‘I have received no signals that was the case,’ the spokesman said.
However, the public prosecution department said in a statement on Friday afternoon it would be examining footage of the rally with an interpreter to assess if the law had been broken.
Earlier this month, Jewish groups met Van Aartsen after participants at another anti-Israel demonstration carried banners equating Israel with the Nazis.
Jewish organisations said they wanted to know why he did not take tough action against the ‘spreading of hatred and calls to violence’.

SYRIA – July 25 2014 – Jihadists kill at least 50 Syria troops in ambush: monitor
Jihadists from the Islamic State group killed at least 50 Syrian soldiers in an ambush on Friday, summarily executing most of them after their capture, a monitoring group said.
The assault in Raqa province, the jihadists’ Euphrates valley stronghold, came amid their fiercest assault yet on Damascus-held territory.
The deaths added to 74 already killed in the offensive across the north and northeast, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
“At least 50 soldiers were ambushed, some of them were killed in fighting but most of them were beheaded,” Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahman told AFP.
IS militants claimed the toll was as high as 75.
<b<"Allah be praised, 75 soldiers of the 17th division were captured at Abu Shared and they were beheaded,"</b< one sympathiser tweeted.
Media close to the regime remained silent on the deaths in Raqa.
The 17th division is one of three still holding positions in the IS-occupied region and operates out of a vast military base.
On Friday, the army repositioned the 17th division, the Observatory said, without giving further details.
It is the first stand-off of this magnitude between IS and Syrian government forces, with the jihadists intent on "cleansing" the territories it controls of the regime presence, the Observatory said.
The IS, which proclaimed a "caliphate" in an area spanning the Syrian and Iraqi borders in June, controls swathes of land in both countries and is seeking to extend its power and influence.

Reference. The movie Freedom Equality and The Muslim Brotherhood is an excellent reference for a number of reasons.
First of all, it’s made by a man of Middle Eastern extraction who interviews other men of Middle Eastern extraction. That’s why it’s perfect for countering doubts based upon fears of intolerance. After all, these men are the same ethnicity as the men that are the subject of the movie. It’s contemptable but many people judge the veracity of content based upon the identity of the speaker.
He interviews the brother of Hassan Al Banna, a renouned scholar who’s written over 90 books on the koran and who discredits the whole concept of the Burka.
They discuss how the burka was in fact a Muslim Brotherhood scheme.
One interresting interview is of the MB leader, discusing the origins of the union between socialists and islamists. They were in prison togetether and you can see from the manner of which they speak of each other (and the coy smiles) that they were bum buddies. I’m not kidding. It’s pretty damned obvious.
I admit that bum buddy is not PC and I’m not really anti gay, so let’s just call them “rectal associates”.
notthattheresanythingwrongwiththat
They discus how in Europe, the Muslim Brotherhood operatives go to young muslim men’s homes to radicalize them one on one.
Here’s the link to the movie.
That is to say the head of the Muslim Brotherhood and the head of the Egyptian socialists were in prison together.
I think the entire thing boils down to 1 question, which even left unanswered proves the lie:
Tell me the difference between an islamist terrorist, and Mohammed the founder of islam?
