  1. During World War 2, one of the main reasons that Switzerland was able to remain neutral was that her citizens were armed. Hitler had plans to invade Switzerland after the war was over, but knew that it would be a fruitless task whilst still fighting the allies. Yes, this was a man who was too blinkered to acknowledge the power of the Soviets and the Americans, but he was cautious of the Swiss.
Switzerland is one of the few if only nations in the World where nearly every household possesses automatic weapons and it has one the lowest gun crime rates in the World. Dictators throughout the World have systematically disarmed their citizens. Freedom really does mean the right to bear arms.

  2. There is a cheaper way then armed guards, the St. Louis police chief has called for the arming of teachers.

    H. Beam Piper wrote about a time when the schools graduated functional illiterates and the teachers had a limited life spam. This Novelette Null ABC was written in the late 1950s, Piper could see what the results of the progressive teaching methods were going to bring. Here is the url of the Amazon page where you can find the book.I

I believe it is avaible on line in digital format and since Piper committed suicide in 1966 the copy write has run out.

  3. Not sure if you’ve seen this, or even if it’s the right place to post it, but I really think it’s worth watching (although it is very long, so at least watch the first 20 minutes or so, then decide if you want to continue).. There’s a part 2 as well, but that’s up to you if you want to watch it.
