FEMEN activists protest in Kiev

epa02781430 Members of the Ukrainian female political activist group FEMEN hold placards reading ‘Let’s drive!’, ‘Camel for men, cars for women!’, ‘Test Drive for Democracy!’ and shout slogans during a protest in front of the Saudi Arabian embassy in Kiev, Ukraine, 16 June 2011. The women were protesting the legislation in the Kingdom which does not allow women to drive. The opposition of this ‘democratic liberty’ consists of the religious figures, claiming that a car would allow them to travel freely across the country and meet other men without control of the relatives, something which is unacceptable according to strict Islamic law.
