The man talking to the BBC about the deaths of his loved one, showed far more constraint than he should have. The BBC killed his family member as sure as if they put a gun to her head. The media is more guilty in some ways than the politicians and drug companies for not ever showing the other side, or allowing the possibility that these experimental gene therapies were a bad idea. They abused public trust in a way that could only be understood by Lennie Riefenstahl’s victims. It broke my heart to see him speaking to the BBC as if they were not the responsible party.
