  1. REPORT: The Black Lives Matter Movement Has Recieved a Stunning $82 Billion From Corporations

    TruthGettrGab

According to recent research, the Black Lives Matter movement and relatd organizations have recieved almost $83 billion in donations from corporations.

Where has all of this money gone? We know that the leaders of the movement live lavishly and have used money donated to the movement to buy luxurious homes. Who else has been helped by these donations?

As the article linked below points out, $82 billion is more than the GDP of many countries.

  2. DeSantis to Strip Luxury Miami Hotel Of Its Liquor License For Hosting Sexually Explicit Drag Show with Children in Attendance

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s State Department of Business will strip the Hyatt Regency Miami of its liquor license for hosting a sexually explicit drag show with children in attendance.

The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation announced in December they were investigating the “Drag Queen Christmas” all-ages drag show which took place in Fort Lauderdale and Miami.

    • After following this story from day one, I do declare……….the timing seems to fit with an awful lot of planning……

    • This is interesting.

My mom-in-law says that whenever Pierre and Margaret Trudeau would show up to family events, they brought little Justin with them, but never the two younger brothers: it is something that has been bothering her all these decades…just how much favouritism Justin got over his brothers.

Now I wonder if there is more to this than meets the eye.

My late father-in-law also told me that Justin used his father’s funeral to announce that he will enter politics because when he told Pierre of his intentions earlier, Pierre Trudeau said something to the effect of ‘Over my dead body.’ So, announcing this at his father’s funeral was a very cruel diss.

      What a lovely family…

      • OK – I am honking my own horn here, but, I helped a little get the Sharia Law for Ontario defeated: by feeding just properly phrased ammo to a rival politician to the one proposing it, who then used it as ammo in a Cabinet meeting to increase her own power.

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. joined talk show host Jimmy Dore recently to discuss the US involvement with bioweapons programs, Dr. Fauci’s funding of coronavirus gain-of-function research and the Anthrax scare in 2001.

TGP’s Anthony Scott reported earlier on the Amerithrax attacks and the alleged CIA involvement in the bioweapons attack. Robert Kennedy, Jr. insists the CIA was involved in the attack.

Robert Kennedy then spoke about the bioweapons accident in the US in 2014 that resulted in a federal ban on gain-of-function research in the United States.

  6. Amid a Banking Crisis with the Segment Rated “Negative” – Four Banks Awarded Over $60 BILLION to BLM Movement
    By Joe Hoft Mar. 15, 2023 9:00 am76 Comments
    TruthGettr

With the banking segment being downgraded to “Negative” by Moody’s, we discover that four banks gave more than $60 BILLION to BLM-related causes over the past few years.

Over the weekend, two banks went under. One bank, Silicon Valley Bank, was the second-largest bank failure in history.

Yesterday, Moody’s rated the ENTIRE Banking Segment as “Negative”. This is a very big deal. We also discovered that US Banks have assets that are $2 TRILLION under their balances.

This morning, it was revealed that US Corporations have awarded over $80 Billion to BLM, according to a report from Breitbart and the Claremont Institute.

    Breitbart reported:

The Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement and related causes received an astonishing $82.9 billion from corporations, a new funding database from the Claremont Institute has found.

This number appeared very large at first glance, when sorting the data by the size of the contributions, it turns out the four of the top six donors are US Banks.

JPMorgan Chase and Co has donated over $30 billion. Bank of America donated over $18 billion. Goldman Sach donated over $10 billion and Fifth Third Bancorp donated another $2.8 billion.

Color Revolutions: Biden Regime Sponsoring a Coup and Training Palestinian Terrorist Army in Israel
    By Richard Abelson Mar. 15, 2023 10:00 am0 Comments

While US banks fail and the world teeters on the brink of WW III, the criminal Biden Regime is embarking on a series of regime change “color revolutions” around the world, seeking to destablize conservative governments and install Washington-controlled puppets to do their bidding. The Gateway Pundit will expose these Open Society / National Endowment for Democracy led coup attempts, which seem to be the only thing the Blinken / Nuland / Sullivan Regime is any good at. Today: Israel.

Thanks to phony corruption charges against Israel’s longest-serving Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel has gone through five elections in three years, finally getting a stable conservative government again this year. Since the Israeli population is one of the few around the world to reliably vote for conservative, patriotic, right-wing parties, the Soros-funded Israeli left has no option other than to use foreign-funded NGOs and lawfare in the left-wing legal system to sabotage their country.

The Israeli Supreme Court has usurped the right to strike down democratically-ratified laws it finds “inappropriate”, to veto democratically elected ministers, and to nominate its own members

    • This has been making me physically ill for weeks.

The Color Revolution devils are deploying “Arab Spring” caliber incitement. Leftist Israeli elites – Deep State, media, universities, tech oligarchs – are colluding with American enemies of Israel.

      This is a colossal sin.

Ideological splintering brought about the destruction of the Second Temple and our ensuing exile from the Holy Land. Fraternal strife destroyed us from within, alien foes pounced on such moral rot to crush us physically. The Bible warns us, every generation has to take heed.

Sinat chinam – baseless hatred – is the cardinal sin. Judaic lupus, the autoimmune disease of the communal soul. That’s the real killer.

  8. Pfizer’s revised EU Covid vaccine contract meets resistance

Pfizer has offered to change its Covid-19 vaccine contract with the EU to cut the number of doses being supplied by 40 per cent and delay their delivery after member states complained of a glut of shots.

The US pharmaceutical company has agreed to extend its contract from 2023 to 2026, according to two people with knowledge of the talks. But it is insisting on payment for doses ordered in the contract that will never be manufactured, angering some governments.

European health commissioner Stella Kyriakides presented the contract amendment to health ministers in a private meeting in Brussels on Tuesday but met resistance from four member states including Poland.

Governments have been destroying supplies because the coronavirus pandemic subsided earlier than expected and demand for boosters is shrinking.

Richer countries believe the price — around $19 a dose — means the contract remains good value for money. Pfizer, along with Moderna, raised EU vaccine prices in 2021 when countries were anxious to secure supplies for repeat shots.

Vlastimil Válek, Czech health minister, said most countries thought the deal was fair. The contract automatically updates to new vaccines developed to deal with new variants, he said. “The majority of countries agreed. The contract is not bad.”

He added: “Covid is still here. It will be necessary to repeat vaccination each year for a particular group of patients.”

But Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary and Lithuania issued a statement saying they would not agree to it.

“In our opinion these proposals do not present a final and fair solution to the problems of the Covid-19 vaccine surplus and do not meet the needs of the healthcare systems, the needs of citizens and the financial interests of the member states,” they said.

The four said the commission should negotiate a better contract or buy doses from member states that do not want them and donate them overseas. Austria also said it was unhappy with the deal.

Warsaw claimed force majeure last year and has not accepted or paid for any deliveries since. Poland’s health minister Adam Niedzielski said the deal favoured pharmaceutical companies, not EU citizens. He also demanded the confidential contract be published.

The European Commission claimed a triumph in 2020 when it corralled the 27 member states into a joint contract to order billions of vaccine doses even before researchers had them approved.

However, as the severity of the pandemic has waned, it has left the EU committed to paying for unneeded vaccines. About 82 per cent of adults in the bloc have received at least two jabs and more than 1.7bn doses have been delivered. Contracts were concluded with eight vaccine developers, providing as many as 4.2bn doses.

Covid vaccine manufacturers such as Pfizer are struggling to generate sales on the same scale as at the height of the pandemic.

Kyriakides urged all member states to approve the change. “Working together we have achieved a significant reduction of doses, an extension of our contract in time far beyond 2023, and security of supply in case more doses are needed,”she said. “If we want to modify vaccine deliveries, we need a deal.”

Countries that do not sign up will remain locked into the original contract terms.

Pfizer said the discussions had been conducted “in good faith” and remained “confidential”.

“We are committed to finding pragmatic solutions to address public health and the evolving pandemic needs, while ensuring Pfizer and BioNTech continue to meet all of their contractual obligations regarding the delivery of Covid-19 vaccines to the EU,” the company said in a statement.

PETER DASZAK serves as the Treasurer and Secretary of the Global Virome Project Leadership Board. He is the President of EcoHealth Alliance, a US-based organization that conducts research and outreach programs on global health , conservation and international development.

Peter’s research has been instrumental in identifying and predicting the origins and impact of emerging diseases across the globe. This includes identifying the bat origin of SARS, the drivers of Nipah virus emergence, publishing the first global emerging disease ‘hotspots’ map, discovering SADS coronavirus, designing a strategy to identify the number of unknown viruses in wildlife, identifying the first case of a species extinction due to disease, and discovering the disease chytridiomycosis as the cause global amphibian declines. He is one of the founders of the field of Conservation Medicine and has been instrumental in the growth of EcoHealth, One Health, and now Planetary Health.

A fundamental part of the Peter’s work on disease ecology is directed by the conviction that disease outbreaks are not just predictable, but preventable. This approach is informed by a perspective on emerging infectious disease research that sees problems of human and animal disease as intimately linked – exacerbated by ecological change. With this in mind, he led the research that produced the first ever global emerging disease ‘hotspots’ map to determine where in the world viruses with pandemic potential are most likely to emerge, and developed a strategy to identify just how many of those viruses currently exist.

Peter is a member of the National Academy of Medicine and Chair of the NASEM’s Forum on Microbial Threats. He is a member of the NRC Advisory Committee to the US Global Change Research Program, the Supervisory Board of the One Health Platform, the One Health Commission Council of Advisors, the CEEZAD External Advisory Board, the Cosmos Club, and the Advisory Council of the Bridge Collaborative. He has served on the IOM Committee on global surveillance for emerging zoonoses, the NRC committee on the future of veterinary research, the International Standing Advisory Board of the Australian Biosecurity CRC; and has advised the Director for Medical Preparedness Policy on the White House National Security Staff on global health issues. Peter is a regular advisor to WHO on pathogen prioritization for R&D.

Peter won the 2000 CSIRO medal for collaborative research on the discovery of amphibian chytridiomycosis, is the EHA institutional lead for USAID-EPT-PREDICT, is on the Editorial Board of Conservation Biology, One Health, GeoHealth, One Health Outlook, Transactions of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene, and is Editor-in-Chief of the journal Ecohealth. OUR HISTORY

The Global Virome Project (GVP) was conceived in response to repeated and unpredictable emergence and re-emergence of high impact viral epidemics and pandemics compromising global health security and well-being of the peoples of the world.

[…]a global alliance to carry forward the GVP, an international effort to identify and characterize, within a decade, 99% of all zoonotic viruses with epidemic/pandemic potential in order to better predict, prevent, and respond to future viral pandemic threats and to protect us all from their worst consequences.

[…]we live in an interconnected world where a single lethal microbe could emerge suddenly and rapidly spread to every household and every community without regard to national borders, or to social and economic standing.

[…]We also know that the majority and growing proportion of epidemics are zoonotic

[…] within 10 years almost all of the planet’s zoonotic viral threats will have been identified and characterized, and a comprehensive database built in order to design science-based surveillance, preparedness, and prevention plans, enabling the development of appropriate countermeasures well in advance of future epidemic events.

[…]Strengthening global surveillance networks through local and global capacity enhancements (e.g. surveillance, field biology, lab proficiencies, biosafety)

      […]Enabling in-country/regional laboratory and surveillance capacities to monitor for high-risk viruses across animal-human interfaces;

[…]Characterizing the global zoonotic viral diversity and ecology would also result in a wide range of advances in human and animal health, including the development of critical new technologies and diagnostics, risk mitigation strategies, and eventually advances in vaccines and therapeutics.

[…] With global support for the Global Virome Project, the world will be better prepared to deal with the consequences of escalating spillover of deadly viruses in ten years.

[…]In short, the outcome of the GVP is designed to be the beginning of the end of the Pandemic Era.

Outbreak of the deadly ‘California flu’ in Ukraine

Question for written answer P-000636-16 to the Commission
      Rule 130
      Eleftherios Synadinos (NI)

According to an online publication[1] and other information, at least 20 Ukrainian soldiers have died and 200 are still hospitalised after the accidental leak of the ‘California flu’ virus FROM AN AMERICAN LABORATORY NEAR KHARKOV in eastern Ukraine.

The spread of this dangerous virus has been confirmed by the deputy commander of the army of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Lieutenant Colonel Eduard Basurin, who said: ‘According to the Ukrainian army medical corps, there is an epidemic among military personnel. According to medical staff, the virus first causes a sudden fever that cannot be treated even with antibiotics and death occurs two days later. So far 20 soldiers have died from this unknown virus and an attempt is being made to cover up the whole thing.’

By 22 January the virus had spread further and was out of control: ‘We continue to record an epidemic of a new incurable strain of flu in the ranks of the Ukrainian army,’ said Donetsk information office.

In light of the above, will the Commission say:

What immediate measures does it intend to take to prevent the spread of the virus to EU Member States?

      MARCH 7 2016

Answer given by Mr Andriukaitis on behalf of the Commission

      Written question
In the EU and the European Economic Area (EEA) and other countries in the World Health Organisation (WHO) EURO region, influenza A viruses predominate this season[1], overwhelmingly subtyped as A(H1N1)pdm09 which is characterised as similar to A/California/7/2009, the component of the 2015-2016 influenza vaccine[2].

There are indications from some of the EU/EEA countries that the A(H1N1)pdm09 virus is responsible for the hospitalisation of a large number of people with severe outcomes in risk groups and otherwise healthy young adults. A similar pattern of severity is likely to be observed in other EU countries as the influenza season progresses.

This corresponds with information from the WHO according to which the number of cases of severe acute respiratory infections has increased in Armenia, Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation and Ukraine, mainly in the groups aged 15?29 and 30?64 years since end of 2015.

The increase is associated with a predominance of influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 in severe acute respiratory infections cases[3]. The Commission is closely cooperating with Member States in the Health Security Committee to monitor the situation. The most important measure to prevent flu infections is vaccination. Influenza antivirals continue to be recommended for treatment of severe cases and for prophylaxis in the most vulnerable groups.

    • MARCH 15 2023 – COVID vaccine update: FDA authorizes Pfizer booster for some children under age five

Children who have completed a three-dose primary vaccination series at least two months prior are eligible for the booster

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has authorized a single booster dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine bivalent for children six months old through four years of age.

At least two months prior to getting this booster, children must have completed their three-dose primary vaccination series.

Children in that age range who only received the first two doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine are not currently eligible for this booster. The FDA recommends that they complete the three-dose series.

The FDA said in its announcement that the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent includes an mRNA component that provides a “broadly protective” immune response against COVID-19, as well as against the omicron variants BA.4 and BA.5.

“Today’s authorization provides parents and caregivers of children 6 months through 4 years of age who received the three-dose primary series with the monovalent Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine an opportunity to update their children’s protection by receiving a booster dose with the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent,” said Peter Marks, M.D., PhD, director of the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, in a press release announcing the authorization.

“Currently available data show that vaccination remains the best defense against severe disease, hospitalization and death caused by COVID-19 across all age groups,” he added.

“We encourage all eligible individuals to make sure that their vaccinations are up-to-date with a bivalent COVID-19 vaccine,” he also said.

Before authorizing the booster, the FDA analyzed immune response data for 60 children in this age range who had completed the three-dose vaccine series in addition to a booster dose.

For those ages five through 11, the most common side effects were muscle pain, joint pain, fatigue, headache, fever, chills, diarrhea, vomiting, injection site pain, swelling and redness, and swelling of the lymph nodes.

The FDA also cited several other studies that support the safety of the recommended booster dose.

These studies evaluated individuals older than age 55 who received the booster, children six months and older who received the primary vaccine series, and people five years and older who received booster vaccination with the monovalent Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, which was previously authorized but is no longer.

Marc Siegel, M.D., professor of medicine and medical director of Doctor Radio at NYU Langone Medical Center, as well as a Fox News medical contributor, pointed out that just because a vaccine is approved doesn’t mean it should automatically be used.

“That should be a discussion between the parent and pediatrician — and child,” he told Fox News Digital in an email.

“It should be based on factors such as the child’s previous reaction to the vaccine.”

He added that the effectiveness of the vaccines wanes over time.

Fact sheets provided to vaccine recipients, caregivers and health care providers warn of the risk of myocarditis and pericarditis, the FDA noted.

In February, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated its official child and adolescent immunization schedule to include COVID-19 vaccines.

The schedule, which is posted on the CDC’s website, recommends that children between six months of age and 18 years old should receive two doses of the primary series between four and eight weeks apart — followed by a booster dose at least eight weeks later.

  10. NY Kangaroo Court Ignored Roger Stone’s Pardon – Claimed He Was Still Convicted and Used this to Fire NYPD Officer Sal Greco for Being Roger Stone’s Friend
    By Joe Hoft Mar. 15, 2023 10:45 am30 Comments

Former NYPD Officer Sal Greco lost his job for befriending Roger Stone. Now he is suing the NYPD.

On February 28, 2022, Roger Stone shared the following about New York City Police Officer Sal Greco.

Salvatore Greco is a New York City police officer with an unblemished record of service to the people of New York over the last 14 years, working the graveyard shift in some of the most dangerous precincts in New York City to keep New York citizens safe.

In 2018, it came to my attention that Sal Greco was posting messages online on social media supporting my public denials that either I or Donald Trump’s campaign were involved in collusion with the Russians. Sal Greco soon came to Florida on his vacation from the NYPD and we became good friends, in fact, he became friends with my entire family. I can honestly say I have never seen his badge or his service weapon.

Sal Greco was in Washington D.C. on January 5th and 6th. Like me, Sal Greco did not go to the Ellipse for President Trump’s speech, did not march to the Capitol, and was not present at the Capitol on January 6th; in fact, he was in my hotel suite most of the time and we were both shocked to learn about those who illegally entered the Capitol. Any claim that either of us knew about or had any role in the illegal events of January 6th is a vile lie and is categorically false.

This didn’t matter to the NYPD. They brought Greco in front of the police court and used Greco’s relationship with Roger Stone as a reason to fire Greco. Now Greco is suing the NYPD.

Greco shared his story on the Joe Hoft Show on TNT Radio yesterday. Starting at the 21:00 mark in the clip below, Greco discusses what happened and what is going on now.

Read: One Way To Keep Your Family Fed In A Crisis

Greco worked for the NYPD for 13 years and had an unblemished record. He had a number of arrests and was thoughtful of those he arrested. After meeting Roger stone a letter was written about Greco where false statements were made.

After a trial, he was fired from the NYPD in part because his relationship with Roger Stone “was corrosive”. They claimed that he should not have been a friend to Roger Stone and he was fired.

The trial was guilt by association. Roger Stone did nothing wrong. He was pardoned.

They actually got a letter from the DOJ that stated that just because someone is pardoned it doesn’t expunge the fact that they were convicted. And that’s what they hung their hat on.

  11. Rasmussen Poll Shows 60% of Americans Believe “Climate Change” is a Religion that Has Nothing to do with Climate
    By Joe Hoft Mar. 15, 2023 10:30 am252 Comments

A significant majority of Americans see right through the climate change garbage. It’s not about the climate – it’s about power.

A recent poll by Rasmussen shows that 60% of Americans don’t believe that climate change is about climate.

    Rasmussen Reports shared:

A majority of voters agree with a Republican presidential candidate’s criticism of climate change as a “religion” that isn’t really about the climate at all.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 60% of Likely U.S. voters agree – including 47% who Strongly Agree – with Vivek Ramasamy’s recent statement that climate change has become a religion that “actually has nothing to do with the climate” and is really about power and control. Thirty-five percent (35%) disagree with Ramaswamy’s statement, including 25% who Strongly Disagree.

Only a quarter of the craziest Americans believe climate change isn’t a religion.

In regards to whether Biden is doing a good job with climate change, the results are all over the place. Nobody even knows how to answer that question.

  12. OH WOW – Michelle Obama Claims the Obama Administration Was ‘Scandal Free’
    By Mike LaChance Mar. 15, 2023 9:45 am505 Comments
    TruthGettrGab

In a recent story at CNN (of course), Michelle Obama repeated the often Democrat-made claim that the Obama administration was scandal free.

This is a laughable claim. Here’s a short starter list for the former first lady. The IRS scandal, Fast and Furious, Spygate, Benghazi. The list goes on and on.

Obama has made this ridiculous claim himself.

Former first lady Michelle Obama said her family felt an enhanced sense of responsibility during their time in the White House as the first Black first family in American history.

“It was no accident that the administration was scandal-free. It was no accident that … our children had to show up right in the world. They carried a burden of making sure they weren’t messy, because it wouldn’t have been laughed off. It wouldn’t have been just, ‘Oh, it’s youthful, whatever.’ It would have been some bigger statement about the soul of Black folks,” Obama said in her recently launched “The Light Podcast.”

“So we didn’t underestimate that. But that, that weight is exhausting when you’re carrying that,” she added…

The former first lady’s comments echo a common teaching in African American households that one must be twice as good as their White counterparts due to enhanced scrutiny, and underscore her unique experience as the first Black first lady of the US.

Democrats and the liberal media seem to rely on a belief that most people are really stupid.

It’s amazing that Michelle could say this with a straight face.

    • Take a hard look at the reporting on Michelle I think she is being groomed the be the Dem candidate for POTUS in 2024.

      • She used to take her kids to Bergdorf’s fancy store in NYC. Commandeer the place. Then they’d all try on clothes, tear them off, then throw them in tangled heaps on the floor.

The salespeople said they’d never seen such egregious bad manners. Even worse than Saudi royalty.

  13. San Francisco board open to reparations with $5M payouts
    By JANIE HAR
    today

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Payments of $5 million to every eligible Black adult, the elimination of personal debt and tax burdens, guaranteed annual incomes of at least $97,000 for 250 years and homes in San Francisco for just $1 a family.

These were some of the more than 100 recommendations made by a city-appointed reparations committee tasked with the thorny question of how to atone for centuries of slavery and systemic racism. And the San Francisco Board of Supervisors hearing the report for the first time Tuesday voiced enthusiastic support for the ideas listed, with some saying money should not stop the city from doing the right thing.

Several supervisors said they were surprised to hear pushback from politically liberal San Franciscans apparently unaware that the legacy of slavery and racist policies continues to keep Black Americans on the bottom rungs of health, education and economic prosperity, and overrepresented in prisons and homeless populations.

  14. U.S. Treasury to Release Biden Family’s Suspicious Bank Reports to House Oversight Committee

The Treasury Department will comply and release suspicious activity reports (SARs) generated by the Biden family and their associates’ business transactions to the House Oversight Committee, Breitbart News has learned.

The Treasury’s compliance to disclose the SARs is a massive development in the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into the Biden family business to determine if President Joe Biden is compromised by communist China. The committee is investigating the Biden family business for nine violations, including wire fraud and money laundering.

U.S. banks have flagged over 150 SARs from Hunter and James Biden that included “large” amounts of money tagged for further review by the Treasury. SARs “often contain evidence of potential criminal activities, such as money laundering and fraud,” according to a 2020 Senate report.

The suspicious records will provide details about how the family business operates and desired transparency on Hunter, James, and Frank’s foreign business transactions, along with knowledge of whether Joe Biden remains compromised by foreign governments through his family’s business.

In comments released in the early hours of Wednesday, Russia’s Ambassador to the U.S. Anatoly Antonov appeared to blame the U.S. for the downing of the U.S. drone over the Black Sea on Tuesday that the U.S. military blamed on “reckless,” “unprofessional” and “unsafe” behavior by the Russian fighter jets.

  17. Hundreds of Masked Stanford Students Protest Dean For Apologizing to Judge
    By Margaret Flavin Mar. 15, 2023 11:35 am88 Comments

The Gateway Pundit reported that Stanford officials allowed law students to berate and shout down a federal judge who was invited to speak at the university.

Students shouted at Judge Kyle Duncan, a Trump appointee, and made it impossible for him to speak.

It is disturbing to think these students will some day be prosecutors, judges and part of the DOJ

The far-left students were reportedly upset about Judge Duncan’s refusal to use a transgender sex offender’s “preferred pronouns” in a 2020 opinion, the Free Beacon reported.

When Judge Duncan asked for an administrator to quell the chaos, Tirien Steinbach, Associate Dean of “diversity and equity, instead berated Judge Duncan for almost 10 minutes.

Following the disgusting display, Stanford University President Tessier-Lavigne and Stanford Law Dean Jenny Martinez offered Judge Duncan issued an apology in a letter.

Angry with the apology, hundreds of masked students stormed Dean Martinez ‘s classroom to protest, vandalizing the room with signs.

    The New York Post reports:

Counter-speech is free speech,” argued many of the fliers — a claim that was printed on most of the students’ masks, the outlet said.

“We have free speech rights too,” read another, while a third demanded an apology.

At the end of her class, all but a handful of Martinez’s class of 60 stood and stared at her silently to suggest they were also being silenced, students said.

Hundreds more then formed a human corridor from Martinez’s classroom to the building’s exit — with those not joining in complaining that they were shunned, according to the report.

“It didn’t feel like the inclusive, belonging atmosphere that the DEI office claims to be creating.”

Another student, who was not identified to avoid retaliation, called it “eerie.”

“The protesters were silent, staring from behind their masks at everyone who chose not to protest, including the dean,” the student said — suggesting a similar silent show of objection would have been fitting for Duncan, who was instead stopped from speaking.

Massive Abuses of Government Power: Urgent Reform Needed of Data Privacy and Collection
    by Pete Hoekstra
    March 15, 2023 at 5:00 am

[T]he NSA’s surveillance network “has the capacity to reach roughly 75% of all U.S. Internet traffic”… the NSA, working with the FBI, engaged in the bulk collection of phone records of U.S. citizens’ phone records. Other programs may allow for data collection from Google, Facebook, YouTube and other platforms. These are the alleged capabilities that have been leaked to the media and government watchdog groups. One can only imagine what the federal government’s more secretive and advanced programs might be capable of collecting.

We also must consider data collected by the CIA, the Defense Intelligence Agency, and from our constellation of spy satellites.

Then there are the other federal security and surveillance agencies such as the FBI, the Department of Justice, the Department of Homeland Security and the Internal Revenue Service, to name but a few.

[I]t is time for Congress to fully update the laws surrounding data collection and privacy. This also would give us the ability to see what still works, determine best practices to protect American security and civil liberties, and to end the things that do not — especially those that leave open a backdoor for abuse.

[W]e must examine whether the government has deferred to the rights of American citizens, or has utilized perceived openings to expand its reach and power.

Law enforcement has acted in a way that enhances its capabilities and erodes the rights of American citizens. Three examples include the FBI’s use of Section 215, where the FBI can get secret court orders for business records.

A second example is the use given the FBI of National Security Letters (NSLs). These can be issued by the FBI without a court order. The use of NSLs has expanded massively. In 2000, about 8,500 NSLs were issued. From 2003-2006 that number increased to 192,000. “Sneak and peek” warrants are also now being used more extensively. Without any notification, these allow law enforcement to raid and search someone’s home and computers, among other private property. The target may not be notified of the search for months.

In an investigation involving conservative attorney Victoria Toensing, the FBI used the sneak and peek authorization to gain access to personal records without notifying her, even though she was not a target of any investigation. After 18 months, the Justice Department notified her the case was being closed without ever identifying who was being investigated or even what the issue being investigated was.

With the advent of new technologies, and passage of legislation after 9/11 that possibly has not aged well, the legal framework protecting American citizens’ rights has been shredded. It seems abundantly clear that our government at multiple levels likely abused its powers, and the Select Subcommittee on Weaponization has a tremendous opportunity to set things right.

Recently the U.S. House of Representatives created the new Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, chaired by Congressman Jim Jordan, a Republican from Ohio. There are at least three areas where this Subcommittee needs to do extensive research. They include but are not limited to:

The scope and extent of the information that the various federal government agencies collect and store.
The restrictions and their effectiveness that are built into the process to protect the rights of American citizens.
Evidence that government policies may have been broken and individuals or organizations may have been targeted inappropriately by the federal government.
A comprehensive review should then result in proposed legislation that will better protect American citizens from governmental abuse while at the same time enable government agencies to effectively do their work. How do we fix a system that may be broken, keeps America safe, and protects American civil liberties? It has to be done similar to the work Congress did after the 9/11 attacks, but using the lessons learned in the time since then to prevent government abuse.

This new Subcommittee should start by evaluating the tools various government agencies use to collect information, what the rules are for collection, how much information they collect, and what safeguards are in place to ensure agencies work within their legal boundaries. Understanding the scope of what is going on provides an excellent starting point.

Our foreign intelligence agencies are masters at collecting data. The National Security Agency (NSA), it has been revealed, is able to collect a large amount of data from around the world through its surveillance techniques. According to a Wall Street Journal report from 2013, the NSA’s surveillance network “has the capacity to reach roughly 75% of all U.S. Internet traffic”. The Electronic Frontier Foundation reported in 2011 that the NSA, working with the FBI, engaged in the bulk collection of phone records of U.S. citizens’ phone records.

Other programs may allow for data collection from Google, Facebook, YouTube and other platforms. These are the alleged capabilities that have been leaked to the media and government watchdog groups. One can only imagine what the federal government’s more secretive and advanced programs might be capable of collecting.

In addition, the NSA, while maybe the largest collector of data in the intelligence community, is not the only collector.

Indeed, with all its capabilities, the stream of data collected by the federal government might be never-ending.

After 9/11, Congress authorized additional collection and sharing of data between various government and private sector actors. An extensive audit of how these authorities and tools are being utilized, especially as new technologies and tools have been developed, is probably long overdue.

If the government has this massive treasure trove of information, what are the protections built into the systems regarding the legal rights of the American citizen? With foreign intelligence collection, the rules are straightforward. Data collection on Americans by our intelligence community is strictly prohibited. Except under the most stringent exceptions, through the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA Court), data collection on Americans cannot be done. Inadvertent foreign collection on Americans must be destroyed.

Within our borders, the intelligence community, again with the exception of FISA Court approval, is prohibited from collecting information on Americans. Domestic law enforcement has a broad legal framework for information collection approved by courts. But whether one is discussing foreign collection or domestic collection, there are probably major gaps in the legal framework for what information government agencies are permitted to collect and how they act on that collection. Wiretap laws were designed and written considering the technology of the day, mostly land lines. How do those protections and rules apply to the current ways data travels? Are they open to acquisition by today’s new technologies or not, and if so, what are the rules governing what happens to that data?

Again, with the massive advances in the way we communicate, and the way governments can capture data, it is time for Congress to fully update the laws surrounding data collection and privacy. This also would give us the ability to see what still works, determine best practices to protect American security and civil liberties, and to end the things that do not — especially those that leave open a backdoor for abuse.

Finally, with all the developments over the last 30 years, and the failure of government to update legal frameworks, we must examine whether the government has deferred to the rights of American citizens, or has utilized perceived openings to expand its reach and power.

The evidence seems overwhelming. Law enforcement has acted in a way that enhances its capabilities and erodes the rights of American citizens. Three examples include the FBI’s use of Section 215, where the FBI can get secret court orders for business records. “The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court must issue the order if the FBI so certifies, even when there are no facts to back it up,” according to the Electronic Frontier Foundation.

But at a tangible level, how does this play out? The Department of Justice’s Inspector General report on the FBI’s performance in the “Russiagate” investigation provides a prime example. Glenn Greenwald, then writing for The Intercept, characterized the report, noting in 2019:

“In sum, the IG Report documents multiple instances in which the FBI – in order to convince a FISA court to allow it spy on former Trump campaign operative Carter Page during the 2016 election – manipulated documents, concealed crucial exonerating evidence, and touted what it knew were unreliable if not outright false claims.”

The work ahead for the Select Subcommittee on Weaponization is huge. It seems the collection of data by our law enforcement and intelligence communities is massive, much larger than any of us would have imagined even just a few short years ago.

  20. HUGE: “THEY LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING” – A 96-Page DC Police Report UNCOVERED –Shows Govt Knew MAGA Was Coming on Jan 6 and Entrapped Them ALL
    By Joe Hoft Mar. 15, 2023 12:30 pm217 Comments

(Above what appears to be Antifa breaking into the Capitol first before any Trump supporters arrive on Jan 6)

According to attorney Joe McBride who uncovered the report, the government knew MAGA was coming to DC and so they entrapped them. It was all a setup.

The report is included in the first tweet below from Jan 6 attorney Joe McBride.

McBride notes that the report covered First Amendment protests.

The DC Police were told not to fire projectiles into the crowd – but they did and two Trump supporters likely had heart attacks and died when flash bombs unexpectedly blew up in their faces.

McBride notes that the police knew Antifa was coming.

    THEY KNEW ANTIFA WAS COMING

    Expected Protests Overview:
A number of individuals and groups are calling for their supporters to travel to Washington, DC, on or before January 6, 2021, to show support for POTUS and for overturning the election results. The protests/rallies are expected to be similar to the previous Million MAGA March rallies in November and December 2020, which drew tens of thousands of participants. It is also expected that members of the Proud Boys (who intend to wear plainclothes and not their traditional yellow and black clothing)l3, white supremacist groups,14 Antifa, and other extremist groups will rally on January 6, 2021. Multiple arrests were made as a result of clashes between pro-Trump and opposing groups during each of the November and December rallies. Charges included assault with a dangerous weapon, assault on police, simple assault, weapons violations, riotous acts, and destruction of property, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and crossing a police line. A number of law enforcement officers were injured in the skinnishes . Many of the confrontations occurred after the rallies ended.

Julie Kelly discussed this report on the War Room (see below).

She said the report had been “designated highly sensitive government information just like all the surveillance video”.

But again it’s more evidence that undercuts the idea that law enforcement was completely unprepared – They had no idea what was going to happen that day.

There were at least two anti-Trump rallies in Washington on the same day including an Antifa rally scheduled at about the same time that the joint session was scheduled to convene. TGP reported on this previously.

The government knew this was happening. It was a setup.

  21. NEW: First Republic Bank Downgraded to Junk by S&P
    By Cristina Laila Mar. 15, 2023 1:45 pm0 Comments

First Republic Bank was downgraded to “junk” by the S&P on Wednesday.

“We believe the risk of deposit outflows is elevated at First Republic Bank despite the actions of federal banking regulators and the bank actively increasing its borrowing availability to mitigate risk associated with the bank failures over the last week,” S&P said in a statement.

“Still, if deposit outflows continue, we expect First Republic would need to rely on its more costly wholesale borrowings. This would encumber its balance sheet and hurt its modest profitability,” said S&P, according to Market Watch.

As of December 31, First Republic Bank had $176.4 billion in deposits – 68% of which are above the $250,000 FDIC insurance limit, according to Market Watch.

Customers were lined up at a First Republic Bank in Los Angeles on Saturday to withdraw their money after Silicon Valley Bank failed.

First Republic’s stock tumbled on Wednesday after a massive bank sell off this week.

    Market Watch reported:

First Republic Bank absorbed debt rating downgrades from three major bond research firms Wednesday as concerns mounted it will suffer further deposit flight that will hurt already modest profitability.

S&P Global Ratings downgraded its issuer credit rating on First Republic Bank by four notches to BB-plus from A-minus on Wednesday, placing it in speculative grade, or ‘junk,’ status.

The move came just hours after S&P put the bank on review for a downgrade late Tuesday.

First Republic stock fell 18% to $32.38, placing it back near the 11-year-low of $31.21 hit during the big bank selloff on Monday.

First Republic’s deposit base is more concentrated than most large U.S. regional banks, said the agency, and that presents heightened funding risks in the current environment. As of Dec. 31, the bank had about $176.4 billion in deposits, 63% of which were commercial.

“We believe the portion above the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. insurance limit of $250,000–about 68% of the total, or $119.5 billion–is most susceptible to withdrawal, despite the bank’s historically excellent depositor loyalty,” said the agency. “According to the bank, its number of deposit accounts is about one-fifth that of the average U.S. bank with $100 billion to $250 billion in assets, which highlights its higher-than-average account sizes.”

    By Cassandra MacDonald Mar. 15, 2023 3:27 pm5 Comments

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer used federal pandemic relief funds to create Critical Race Theory and social justice courses for teachers, according to a new report.
Whitmer reportedly allotted $1.4 million in CARES Act funds to Michigan State University College of Education, the University of Michigan’s School of Education, and Michigan Virtual to create online social justice courses.

Inside NoVa reports, “the way the program was funded has come under scrutiny from federal oversight agencies. The Department of Education’s Office of Inspector General said in a report released in September that the state could not support the process it used to select Michigan Virtual, MSU and UM to develop the modules.”
