Tire marks on road now a hate crime in Florida, while painting the road in colours is not graffiti: Links 1, March 10th, 2023

1. Naomi Wolf apology

Dear Conservatives, I Apologize

There is no way to avoid this moment. The formal letter of apology. From me. To Conservatives and to those who “put America first” everywhere.

It’s tempting to sweep this confrontation with my own gullibility under the rug — to “move on” without every acknowledging that I was duped, and that as a result I made mistakes in judgement, and that these mistakes, multiplied by the tens of thousands and millions on the part of people just like me, hurt millions of other people like you all, in existential ways.

But that erasure of personal and public history would be wrong.

I owe you a full-throated apology.

I believed a farrago of lies. And, as a result of these lies, and my credulity — and the credulity of people similarly situated to me – many conservatives’ reputations are being tarnished, on false bases.

The proximate cause of this letter of apology is the airing, two nights ago, of excepts from tens of thousands of hours of security camera footage from the United States Capitol taken on Jan 6, 2021. The footage was released by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to Fox News commentator Tucker Carlson [https://www.axios.com/2023/03/08/mccarthy-defends-jan-6-footage-tucker-carlson-fox-news].

It’s worth clicking through and reading the whole document

2. Dinesh D’Souza does an analysis of Tucker’s Jan 6 coverage

Dinesh gets one thing half wrong thought. Because Tucker has huge ratings, he has more latitude, as Dinesh says, but also less. The more influential a person is, the more pressure on them to conform to whatever agenda is at work.

3. Human Rights Attorney, Leigh Dundas on future disease measures. Specifically RSV: MUST WATCH

While I would love to see her claims fact checked, it doesn’t make a bit of difference. Her statements at the end are true and important even if every word she says before them are a stone cold lie.

4. Rob Braxman on Chat GPT, mass surveillance and how big tech is using it to obliterate your privacy even when they say they are not.

South Park also has great commentary on ChatGPT and how it can be used.

4. Crews begin repairs on Pride flag mural on Fort Lauderdale road following vandalization

This is a pretty important indicator of how much the most fundamental freedoms have been replaced with an Orwellian, (Marxist really) forced pseudo-reality. A guy leaves tire tracks on a road. Now its a crime if there is a giant sexual-deviancy symbol painted on that road. Which shouldn’t be there in the first place. The most important thing about crossing a busy road is not celebrating men having sex with other men, or any of the other flavours of non-reproductive sex that has recently undergone Beatification. I am going to speak out of turn for that truck driver. Its probable that he has no issue with what type of sex people like to have, but might be fed up with being forced to respect every kind of deviancy as sacred other than being heterosexual. It may be the messaging that upsets him and not the thing being messaged as such.

The worst hate crimes against homosexuals in living memory in the USA was the Pulse gay bar attack by Muslims as it was an affront to Islam. That never gets mentioned of course. Because the purpose of the flags everywhere is to force submission of the majority to the message, whatever the message of the day is.

One wonders what may happen if someone painted a large star of David over that flag. Would removing it in order to uncover the deviancy flag be antisemitic? or just removing on act of graffiti to expose another? See how Discourse Theory works? You go beat someone up while holding a symbol of Group X and when the person defends himself form your attack, the defender is guilty of a hate crime against an entire group.

Here is another perspective:

5. This is a fascinating video of Zelenskyy. He appears to be angry at the new Western narrative that a couple of Ukrainians on a yacht blew up the NORD pipeline, and not the Americans. The theory behind this potential fabrication is it allows Germany to stop supporting Ukraine, since that pipeline was their energy conduit, and offers an exit strategy to the US to get the smeg out of the war.

If this was a court of law, and we saw Biden saying he would blow up the pipeline if Russia went in to Ukraine, and then looked at the technical difficulty of such an operation and all the other evidence we have seen, we can be safe in thinking even O.J. Simpson’s jury would bring in a guilty verdict. So it does sort of appear that the Ukrainian yacht story is an exit strategy.

Thank you all for your kind attention to these issues, and considering these points of view.

Below, Alex Berenson offers this post by The Bad Cat. Alex says he doesn’t agree with every point but the theme is worthy enough for Mr. Berenson to spread it thusly.

scott atlas has made a list of the 10 biggest lies told by the misinformation ministries during covid.

you can read it HERE.

it’s a good list.

it covers spread, risk, mitigation, far fetched pharma fables, and all the other fabulism with which we have all become so unavoidably familiar.

and indeed, these were all lies told by people who either knew better or should have known better. every actual expert was sidelined and the social contagion of panic took center stage as the drama kids playing at being the science kids took the world on the greatest pseudoscientific joyride in human history. “story” overtook “science” and “epigram” shouted down “epidemiology.” 100 years of evidence based pandemic response programs were defenestrated and replaced with superstition driven diktat that “looked like doing something.”

and it has, predictably, fallen apart and is coming to be seen as the failure of nerve, failure of science, and failure of the asch conformity test that it was.

but that does not mean that it’s over.

  1. 4 – With all due respect there is no evidence that the driver is male. The reporter assumes it. The passenger is, yes, but what if the driver is female? Trans? Gay, but educated on discourse theory and resents it so much that he or she is compelled to express their own form of negation using not words, but horsepower and some Firestones?
