I can say I have never had my dogs vaccinated. I’ve had two dogs. And never a trip to the vet was needed because they were never sick. And my last beloved dog died at 17 years of age, The reason was dementia and terror attacks; I had her euthanized in my home.
If you live in the countryside, near woodlands, vaccines would be required. Other than that, I see no purpose. You can pour water on their paws and pat them dry before entering the home.
