1. Quebecers must reduce their electricity consumption, warns Fitzgibbon

Please put this link into a translation site.

I have lived in Canada long enough to know that Quebecers are inherently politically recalcitrant. They voted separatist until separatists became the establishment, then they voted federalist. Quebecers are somewhat like the lyrics of this Marx Bros. song.

At every significant demonstration for Freedom in Ottawa, far before Covid but perhaps especially during Covid, Quebec was disproportionately represented at Parliament Hill. Quebecers were generally the most good natured and dedicated of protestors on several issues. So it makes it harder to believe the last provincial election where they put back the communist premiere who instituted literal curfews and had police bust up small family parties was any more honest than the one in Brazil, or the last two in the USA. From Goodle Translate from the government funded, enemy propaganda network, CBC:

Lower heating, hourly rates… Everything is considered by the Minister responsible for Energy, including the installation of thousands of wind turbines in the North.

The Legault government will introduce a bill in 2023 to force Quebecers to be more sober in their electricity consumption. At the same time, the Minister of Economy, Innovation and Energy Pierre Fitzgibbon wishes to multiply wind turbines “as much as possible”.

Electricity, it will surely run out , warned the minister during a press briefing on Friday at the National Assembly. According to him, the question is not to know which river to harness to build one or more new dams within 15 or 20 years, because the stake is short term .

Pierre Fitzgibbon intends to bet first on “energy sobriety” to make gains. The government is therefore considering a law to force Quebecers to reduce their consumption, especially during winter peaks, when the Hydro-Québec network lacks power.

“  To know a bit about what is happening in the world, I can say that we [Quebecers] are not sober in our consumption .

— A quote from Pierre Fitzgibbon, Minister of Economy, Innovation and Energy of Quebec

Here is a fun site you may want to peruse for a moment before moving on to the next item. I haven’t looked deeply into this issue for decades. But at last look, there was a minor scandal within Canada because Quebec made some kind of deal for sub-wholesale electricity from Newfoundland and then turned it around and sold it for a huge markup to New York State. A deal that upset Newfoundland a lot. No idea if that is still a thing, but the link above makes it clear that Quebec massively over-produces electricity. Which of course raises the question. It is unlikely that this is a conspiracy by the sweater and wool hat industry. But Legault, a clear and conspicuous authoritarian leftist, like so many others in the West today, seems determined to make his constituents suffer. Much like Trudeau’s advisor, Mark Carney.

2. Vaccinated People Make Up Majority of COVID-19 Deaths: CDC Data

(Occasionally I hear the smart-ass remark to stats like this which go something like, “Well Duh. The majority of people ARE vaccinated!” and then you get a look like they just won a Pulitzer. I wonder though, if you were to say that the majority of pregnant women where on the pill at the time of conception, would they offer the same analysis.)

Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) showed that vaccinated and boosted people made up most of the COVID-19 deaths in August.

Of the total 6,512 deaths recorded in August 2022, 58.6 percent of the deaths were attributed to vaccinated or boosted people, and seem to be a sign of a growing trend where vaccinated individuals are increasingly becoming the majority in COVID-19 mortalities.

In January 2022, COVID-19 mortalities in the vaccinated was still the minority with 41 percent of the data related to vaccinated or boosted individuals.

However, analysis of the CDC data from June and July showed over 50 percent of deaths were being reported in vaccinated individuals, with 62 and 61 percent reported respectively.

“We can no longer say this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated,” Cynthia Cox, the vice-president of the Kaiser Family Foundation told the Washington Post in an article dated Nov. 23.

3. One example of millions of why the 2nd amendment should actually be the first

3. There is an old Chinese Proverb that says, “People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones”. But there is a newer Chinese proverb that states, “We will put you in glass houses so we can throw stones at you!”

4. GO TIME? Military Deploy in Brazil – “Martial Law Coming Next Week”

Military vehicles have been spotted mobilizing in Brazil as President Bolsonaro met with military leaders ata ceremony to promote new generals in Brazilía Thursday. “Martial law is coming next week”, says Brazil observer Matt Tyrmand.  Elon Musk noted Twitter may have interfered with Brazilian elections.

“I have sources on the ground saying that the reservists are being activated right now, starting yesterday in smaller and mid-size cities,” journalist Matthew Tyrmand told Steve Bannon on Dec. 2.

“You can already see videos of tanks being transported to strategic points and chokeholds around the country. I think by next Wednesday or Thursday, (the Generals) are going to put a letter in front of Bolsonaro and say, sign this and activate us. We believe we have to act right now, according to the constitution, and go after these (voting) machines, arrest these judges, and then the house of cards will fall.”

5. Biden Administration Finally Announces End Of Emergency Declaration For … Monkeypox

(Hmmmm)

The Biden administration has announced its plans to finally end the emergency declaration for … monkeypox.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced Friday that it would not renew the emergency declaration for the monkeypox epidemic when it expires on January 31. HHS cited a continuing declining trend in total case counts as the reason it was not renewing the emergency. The news comes even as the Biden administration reportedly has no plans to lift the COVID emergency declaration.

Thank you all for you kind attention to this effort.

If anyone thinks that Trudeau’s lies do not hurt anyone, please watch this.

Pfuck you Pfizer.

  3. ITEM 1: I’m reading the comments, an awful lot of comments for a french news story dated yesterday. People are angry.

Green energy holds a predominant spot in Legault’s agenda. Second place in priority, I think. His government has been a serious promoter of electric vehicles and public transit buses.

One comment that I put through the translator tool. Did you know that…

“A standard single-family home consumes 30kw in a day without heating or appliances running. Heating takes up more than 50% of the energy consumption. For those of you with electric cars, that’s 40 amps on your 200 amp panel, for an 8-hour load that’s like running your stove at full blast with all four heating elements open for 8 hours.”

  4. 3-Yes it would make more sense if the amendment to physically protect our freedom was the first.

4-Yes it is Go Time or what ever the phrase you know is. Brazil is about to go kinetic to protect it’s freedom. The question is how many other nations will do the same.
