  1. The Zero Covid policy in China is a weapon of suppression of dissent. There are no deadlier viral strains lurking and no, the CCP isn’t training or conditioning people for war. What we’ve not been able to see through the red glass is the vast scale of unhappy Chinese as the CCP models itself, and its Social Credit tyranny, for globalist glee and edification. Well, how’s it looking now, Justin? A few minutes of last night’s Tucker:

  2. The catastrophic effects of government policies on many fronts is just beginning. Not only did lockdowns weaken children’s immune systems but they also weakened small and medium-sized business models. Supply-chain interruptions and inflation have created huge pricing and delivery challenges. Inflation (a phenomenon that cannot exist without central bank Keynesian monetary policies) is making credit too expensive even if the banks will lend, which they are increasingly hesitant to do. Nowhere may business be more vulnerable than in Canada. Passive Canadians used to be so proud when they made international news headlines. Now this northern backwater regularly gets noticed for the effects of its communist leader. Here, the Canadian segment begins around 7:50. Watch your money!

Kari Lake has spoken out against the rigged and conflict-ridden Arizona Midterm Elections, which were certified by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors and several other counties today.

The Gateway Pundit reported earlier that the corrupt Maricopa County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to certify the rigged election that was overseen by MAGA-hating RINOs, a Katie Hobbs surrogate, and radical leftist gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs.

Many in the audience pointed out the clear conflicts of interest in this election as well.

Conflict #1: Katie Hobbs refused to recuse herself from election oversight as Secretary of State in her own election for Governor.

      • Republican-led Arizona county sued over election certification delay
BY JULIA MUELLER 11/28/22 09:56 PM ET

The Republican-controlled Cochise County in Arizona is now facing a lawsuit after it voted to delay the certification of its election canvass past the statewide Monday deadline.

A lawsuit, which was widely expected after the vote, filed on behalf of a local voter and the Arizona Alliance of Retired Americans, knocks the three-member Cochise County Board of Supervisors for a “long, baseless effort to call into question the results of the 2022 general election and evade Arizona law” and argues the body doesn’t have the authority to hold up the election results.

The board voted 2-1 against the certification, citing concerns about voting machines that had been spouted by a three conspiracy theorists who claimed they were not properly accredited.

The lawsuit calls the board’s theories about the election equipment “nothing more than vague and unsubstantiated allegations that the county’s electronic voting machines could not be trusted” in the wake of conspiracies surrounding the 2020 presidential election.

The lawsuit contends that the Cochise County supervisors are violating Arizona law by shirking the deadline. The plaintiffs are seeking to compel the county to comply with the voting process and canvass their results.

Arizona Mohave County Board of Supervisors vote to certify the election or be arrested for a felony.

This is not what our founding fathers had in mind. If the results of an election are uncertifiable because of rampant fraud or corruption or negligence or all of the above, the results should not be accepted or certified.

        The election should be redone.
We have to stop certifying elections that contain fraud or corruption or negligence. Elections with any of these are uncertifiable. The 2020 and 2022 Elections are uncertifiable. As a result, America has an administration in charge that hates America and shows it every day.

The people stealing the elections in the US do not love this country. We know this by their policies.

Look at Biden. We have no idea who’s running his Administration other than it’s not Joe. He’s destroyed jobs, increased inflation to 40-year-highs, given billions to the Taliban, given billions to Ukraine that now can’t be accounted for, allowed anyone to come into this country along the Southern Border, made America energy dependent again, imprisoned innocent Americans with false charges, covered up for his and his son’s corruption, etc…

In Arizona you have a Soros-backed corrupt and creepy Secretary of State stealing an election after destroying any chance of having votes counted from election day. But the counties in the state have to certify her corrupt election win or be served with felonies.

        This is insane.

Hero Supervisors in Mohave County initially stood up against the uncertifiable election. But after being threatened with felonies, they voted to approve the stolen 2022 election under duress.

America has some work to do to free and fair elections. As long as we have these machines, corrupt actors, and uncontrolled processes, America is in peril.

    • Election Lawsuits Take Center Stage Across Arizona
November 28, 2022 Terri Jo Neff

A judge suggested Monday there could be “several” elections challenges filed in courts across Arizona in the coming days, but as of the end of the day there were six key active lawsuits which could reasonably impact Arizona’s election results.

A lawsuit filed last week by Abe Hamadeh, the Republican candidate for Attorney General, along with the Republican National Committee was the subject of oral arguments Monday afternoon about whether the lawsuit should be dismissed

Hamadeh and the RNC allege myriad errors involving the administration of the 2022 General Election throughout the state. Some of those errors allegedly involved election board misconduct, the tallying of unlawful ballots due to improper signature verification, and the erroneous counting of votes.

Their lawsuit names Democratic AG candidate Kris Mayes and Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs as defendants, along with the state’s 15 county recorders and the 15 county boards of supervisors.

However, attorneys for Mayes and Hobbs filed separate motions to dismiss the lawsuit based on arguments that such a challenge cannot be filed until after the statewide election results are canvassed next week.

Judge Randall Warner of the Maricopa County Superior Court heard oral arguments on the motions Monday. The numerous parties taking part agreed that even if Warner dismisses the lawsuit as premature, it will simply be refiled in the next week or so.

The use of flash drives in the election process has been well documented. New evidence suggests that these flash drives aren’t used for reporting election results by the media.

We first became aware of the use of flash drives during the 2020 Election when an individual in Milwaukee misplaced a flash drive and was forced to turn around and go get it at about the same time that 145,000 votes were recorded for Joe Biden only in the state.

There were other reports on the misuse of flash drives and the related lack of controls that we shared over the past few years.

The results of the 2022 election show we can win when the Dems vote fraud schemes are blocked. In the States where we can’t block the vote fraud schemes we are going to have to resort to early voting and ballot harvesting.

I don’t know how that will work out but we have to try.

  5. China Protestors Call for End to CCP Rule
    by Gordon G. Chang
    November 29, 2022 at 5:00 am

Extraordinary protests quickly spread across China over the weekend, including major cities such as Beijing and Shanghai, since a fire Thursday claimed a reported 10 lives in an apartment block in Urumqi, in the northwestern part of the country.

China’s people were enraged by the regime’s COVID controls, which had prevented firefighters from reaching the scene of the tragedy in time. “This is people past their breaking point,” tweeted CNN’s Selina Wang on Sunday.

Also on Sunday, the Telegraph’s Simina Mistreanu reported on Twitter that a crowd numbering at least 100 began marching toward Tiananmen Square, in the heart of the Chinese capital. Police, however, stopped demonstrators after only a few blocks, at the Liangma River. “The fact that they intended to protest at Tiananmen,” she wrote, “is wild.”

Mistreanu is right. Observers say the weekend disturbances — China was quiet on Monday — are the most significant since mass demonstrations rocked the Chinese capital and some 370 other cities in the Beijing Spring of 1989. In many respects, however, the ongoing protests are more dangerous to China’s Communist Party.

As Charles Burton, a China scholar at the Ottawa-based Macdonald-Laurier Institute, told Gatestone, even the 1989 Tiananmen Movement “did not challenge the fundamentals of Party rule over China.” Protestors then only wanted hardliners like Premier Li Peng removed to make way for “democratic reforms;” in other words, “Party-mediated democratization of China,” as Burton termed it.

Today, however, many Chinese want to get rid of the Party. As Mistreanu reported, the demonstrators she witnessed in Beijing were chanting “We want freedom, equality, democracy, rule of law.” “We don’t want dictatorship,” they shouted.

The weekend’s demonstrations also resemble the protests in 1949. That year, Mao Zedong defeated Chiang Kai-shek’s ruling Nationalists. Then, Chiang commanded far superior armies than the Communists, but his regime nonetheless quickly fell.

Why did that happen? Chiang’s Nationalists had, the acclaimed China historian Yu Ying-shih once told me, “lost people’s hearts.” The CCP, as the Chinese Communist Party is informally known, has now lost hearts across the country.

China, throughout the Communist period, has witnessed demonstrations, but most of them are, as Burton noted, “highly localized” and “directed at malfeasance, corruption, and incompetence of lower level Communist functionaries.”

Now, however, the anger is directed at the Party itself. In short, as evident from the spontaneous demonstrations of the weekend, the Chinese people have had enough of Xi Jinping and CCP rule. They recognize the fundamental fact that the Party’s system does not work.

Xi cemented his position over the Communist Party at last month’s 20th National Congress, but the Party is losing control of Chinese society.

The Chinese people are not only angry over Xi’s “dynamic Zero-COVID policy”; they are also troubled by a crumbling economy and the collapse of the all-important property sector. New-home prices in 70 cities, for instance, fell in October for the 14h-straight month. There have been abnormally few sales in recent months as the market is “frozen,” with big spreads between what sellers demand and what buyers are willing to pay. These drops in prices and sales are of great concern because some 70% of Chinese household wealth is tied up in property. China’s people, as a result, were not happy even before Thursday’s fatal blaze.

Popular attitudes suggest that China will remain unstable for some time. So why should the international community care about the current instability in China?

Because China’s regime might lash out.

If the Communist Party looked as if it would fall quickly, Xi could not lash out. He would have to devote all his resources at home, deploying the People’s Liberation Army internally.

If, however, the crisis plays out over a long time, Xi will have the opportunity to try to direct popular anger at neighboring countries or the United States and aim the Chinese military abroad.

The world was fortunate that the Soviet Union dissolved fast, but do not expect China to go as quickly. Xi Jinping, in a secret speech to Communist Party cadres in December 2012 — the month after he took power as Party general secretary —criticized Mikhail Gorbachev for allowing the Soviet state to fail. The Soviet leader, Xi said, was not a “real man.”

Xi, who does consider himself a “real man,” has already during his ten years as general secretary exacerbated xenophobia in China. Fomenting hatred of America, to save the Communist Party from popular unrest, would not be a big step for him.

Xi, who this weekend heard the chants demanding he step down, probably knows he cannot win back Chinese hearts short of starting a war.

That gives everyone a direct stake in what happens next on China’s streets.

    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/19173/china-protestors-communist-rule

    • Some Russians say Xi may want to bleed off some excess energy. Particularly since the male to female ratio is way out of whack.

      • Xi has sent in the Army, I don’t think this is to bleed off excess energy. The military says he is cracking down. If the crackdown covers the entire nation it will probably slow down or derail any plans for a foreign adventure.

        • No, they’re talking about it in the context of a “splendid little war” somewhere else. Whip up the wolf warriors, bleed off extra males and extoll their heroism.
Doesn’t seem likely, it would be an act of desperation.

Paul Ryan, Mike Pence, and the rest of the RINOs are after President Trump. They are so immersed in their own bitter tunnel vision that they can’t see that attacking President Trump only denigrates them and lifts up President Trump.

President Trump gained 63 million votes in 2016 to beat Hillary Clinton in one of the most highly contested elections in US history

Towards the end of the race, Hillary and her gang started claiming candidate Trump was connected to Russia. The DOJ and Intel community got involved and carried forward this lie into President Trump’s years in office. Individuals associated with President Trump were attacked and prosecuted for bogus crimes.

Obama contaminated the DOJ and it showed its true colors during President Trump’s time in office.
Many individuals in the GOP were silent during this time. President Trump did nothing wrong and although the Bidens did interfere in Ukraine for selfish reasons, President Trump faced impeachment by the Democrats and some RINOs for actions he took to uncover the Biden crimes in Ukraine. (Now Biden has lost $20 billion in Ukraine.)

Eventually, the 2020 Election came, and after years of daily constant messaging of “orange man bad” President Trump gained 74 million votes in 2020. This was the most votes by any President by nearly 10 million votes or more than 10%! It was more votes than any Republican ever, breaking President Trump’s totals from 2016.

But the Democrats and the RINOs certified uncertifiable results in the 2020 Election and claimed Joe Biden, the man in the basement who couldn’t come out, somehow gained 81 million votes shattering all records to date. It was a lie and the whole world knows it to this day. To this day Biden can’t get 1,000 people at his events.

The RINOs and Deep State actors in the corrupt Obama DOJ are still after President Trump. The DOJ recently selected a George Soros-connected attorney to perform an investigation on President Trump even though he committed no crimes. A Special Counsel should be independent and objective but this is not the case again. Like the Mueller exam, this guy is totally conflicted.

Where are the voices for freedom from politicians calling out this travesty?

The silence from Democrats and RINOs and others in the GOP is noted. Americans see this like they did the lies of the Mueller gang.

While ignoring the DOJ’s corrupt and criminal investigation, the illegal raid on Mar-a-Lago, the RINOs in the GOP are going after him for a meal he shared with a guest’s friend.

Mike Pence, who lost all credibility after cowardly ignoring the uncertifiable results of the 2020 Election and moving forward with the certification, is one of the Trump haters.

Pence is calling for President Trump to apologize for dining with a man he didn’t know who was brought to dinner by a friend. Mitt Romney, claims Trump will scare voters away from GOP:

Sen. Mitt Romney compared former President Donald Trump Monday to a “gargoyle” that could scare voters away from the Republican Party — as former Vice President Mike Pence demanded that Trump say sorry…

Paul Ryan, Romney’s Vice President pick in their losing effort in 2012, is angry with President Trump. He hates it that Trump is a winner and he’s an out-of-politics, FOX News-destroying, loser of the 2012 election. Over the weekend he attacked President Trump again, just like he’s been doing since 2016.

He began by saying that he thinks Trump would lose in 2024 when speaking with NBC’s Karl, saying:

We probably likely lose the White House. We just did in ’20. So, I think we probably lose the White House with Trump. And if there’s someone not named Trump, my guess is we win the White House.

Ryan then went on to say that he predicts Trump losing support because of undefined “losses”, saying:

That’s right, but I think — I think he’s going to continue to lose altitude because we want to win. And we know with him we lose. We have a string of losses to prove that point. And there are a lot of really good, capable conservatives who people I think like that are more than capable of not only being good conservatives in office but can win elections.
These Democrats and RINOs still don’t know what they are doing. Their only way to beat President Trump is to steal elections. They really must feel really sick and sad inside.
Looking at their comments, who are the ones acting like losers while President Trump grows his base even more?

  11. CBC – Radio-Canada reruns will be purged of offensive words

Radio-Canada suggests that its hosts and journalists offer their apologies live in the event of an unexpected mention of the n-word, and announces that reruns of its programs will henceforth be purged of all offensive language that has no ” editorial rationale”.

That’s the verdict from the state-owned company, which quietly released its guidelines on offensive language on Friday. This document was ordered by a controversial ruling on the use of the n-word by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) in June?, which instead used the term “offensive language”.

The four-page text explains that a “case-by-case” analysis must be made when considering, exceptionally, using “potentially offensive language” on the air. Context and editorial justification should be assessed, and management should be consulted “when in doubt”.

These guidelines apply immediately. They relate to any “abusive, degrading or unduly discriminatory, stereotypical or negative language” about “race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status or physical or mental disability”.

    Edit replays

The Société Radio-Canada (SRC) is also preparing to hear a forbidden word from the mouth of a guest. His protocol includes a live apology and an edit to the version of the show intended for rebroadcast.

In the event of “unexpected and unjustifiable dissemination of offensive language” by someone who is not [employé par] the SRC, like an interviewee, “the host or journalist acts in such a way as to reduce the risk that the guest will repeat the offensive remarks”, can we read.

The professional must then offer his apologies to the audience “if he deems it necessary in the context of the broadcast”. For the rest, unless there is an “editorial justification”, the disturbing passage must be deleted for the second life of the show, as in catch-up on the platforms on demand.

The public broadcaster relies on a code developed by the Canadian Association of Broadcasters to establish, for example, that it is permitted to make an “intellectual treatment” of these words, such as during university, artistic or journalistic broadcasts. The code in question also allows their use for comedy or satire, although the Radio-Canada guidelines do not mention it.

    Caution
Listeners and viewers of the public media will ultimately be warned before they are exposed to potentially painful words to hear, but which the CBC has deemed appropriate to broadcast from coast to coast anyway.

“If it is decided that the broadcast of potentially offensive language is justifiable and necessary in a particular broadcast context, consideration should also be given to whether the addition of a caveat (notice to the audience) could mitigate the impact “, decided his bosses.

These new guidelines come “to clarify the internal decision-making process of CBC/Radio-Canada”, explained the spokesperson for Radio-Canada, Marc Pichette, in an email to the To have to. However, there is no question of going back to the Radio-Canada archives to modify the old broadcasts available for listening. Only November 2022 and subsequent issues will be retouched in accordance with this policy.

Radio-Canada added a warning when listening to columnist Simon Jodoin’s intervention on the show 15-18 of August 17, 2020, in which the title of the essay is repeatedly quoted white niggers of America, by Pierre Vallieres. “We want to advise you that the following segment contains a word that may offend some people,” warns an announcement.

On June 29, the CRTC reprimanded the CBC for having unduly offended its audience during this program. This decision raised an outcry from some employees of the public broadcaster, who finally apologized when appealing it. The CRTC had required a report of “internal measures and best practices in programming”, in a report intended to be accessible to the public. The SRC had obtained an extension of the deadline to last Friday.

Without announcing it in a press release, the Crown corporation did publish its new guidelines on the said day, among its other submissions to the CRTC in the “Regulatory Affairs” section of its website.

NEW – Google showcases new “info interventions” informed by “behavioral science” to “build resilience to online harms.”

One approach is “pre-bunking misinformation” to “immunize” users.

Google and YouTube also announced a $13.2 million grant for the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) to launch a new Global Fact Check Fund.

GOOGLE – FIGHTING MISINFORMATION ONLINE- Brussels summit – NOV 29 2022

According to the IPSOS agency, 29% of people surveyed this year in Central Europe and the Baltic express being strongly affected by disinformation in the media. And the trend is echoed internationally.

Every day, millions of people use Google and YouTube to access accurate information, and help them sort the facts from fiction. We take the challenge of fighting the spread of misinformation online very seriously, but it’s not something we can do alone.

Today, Google, in partnership with YouTube, the European University Institute and Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, is convening European policymakers, NGOs, media organizations, academics and tech companies to collaborate and share knowledge about tackling misinformation. Over 920 people in Brussels and online will join the discussion, with talks led by experts from across the misinformation landscape.

Further support in the fight against the spread of misinformation online

Today we’re announcing additional ways we are furthering media literacy efforts through partnerships and initiatives across Europe:

Google and YouTube are announcing a $13.2 million grant for the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) to launch a new Global Fact Check Fund to support their network of 135 fact-checking organizations from 65 countries covering over 80 languages. Building on our previous work to address misinformation, this is Google and YouTube’s single largest grant in fact-checking.

As part of Google’s commitment to fight disinformation in Central and Eastern Europe, we’re also supporting civil society and research efforts. Google.org is providing $2.5M in grant funding to TechSoup Europe to launch an accelerator fund and will help NGOs fight against disinformation, along with another grant supporting Demagog in building its fact checking ecosystem across the region. Additionally, IPSOS recently published research on the extent to which people are exposed to disinformation in the region. The research is the first of a series of projects conducted in cooperation with the Central European Digital Media Observatory (CEDMO), a research and monitoring hub within Charles University, and supported by Google.
YouTube has launched a media literacy initiative, “Hit Pause,” to help people assess the content they watch and share by providing tips on identifying different manipulation tactics used to spread misinformation. This will roll out across Europe in the coming months. YouTube also raises up authoritative sources in search results and recommendations, and connects people with information panels for certain topics prone to misinformation that point people to third-party sources for additional context.

These new initiatives build upon our work at Google and YouTube to create products and tools to help people around the world better understand what they are seeing online. For instance, About this Result, a feature in Search which provides critical context on a result before you visit the page, was recently expanded to additional languages and has been used more than 2.4 billion times. We also launched a “Super Searchers” initiative to train librarians and library staff across 12 European countries on media literacy best practices, including how to use these tools and our Google Safety Engineering Center for Content Responsibility, in Dublin, opened in 2021 to provide greater transparency to policymakers, researchers and regulators on our work tackling the spread of harmful and illegal content.

Jigsaw, a team within Google that develops research and technology to counter online harms, has also partnered with local experts and academics to develop approaches to both directly counter disinformation and help people more easily identify and refute it. The team recently deployed a series of prebunking videos as a preemptive tactic to help counter anti-refugee narratives across Central and Eastern Europe.

We’re grateful to have the opportunity to hear from experts in the misinformation and media literacy communities today in Brussels, and will continue the open and constructive dialogue on how we can make progress together.

  12. The New Voting System that Gave Democrats a GOP House Seat is Dangerous. Here’s Why
    By Selwyn Duke
Alaska’s sole congressional seat, which had been in GOP hands for 49 years, was recently captured by Democrat Mary Peltola.

The victory has been touted by liberals as either vindication of their agenda or as portending the end of the career of Sarah Palin, Peltola’s most high-profile opponent. Yet the result, which took weeks to finalize, was easily explainable:

It was a function of Alaska’s new ranked-choice voting (RCV) and Top-four Primary (TFP) system — a system electoral engineers would like to institute nationwide.

In essence, this system created a situation in which Palin and another Republican, Nick Begich, were both running against Peltola in the general election and divided up the GOP vote.

Should it be Trump or DeSantis in 2024?
    By Edward Mike
Should it be Trump or DeSantis in 2024? The answer lies in these four words: Form Always Follows Function. For example, if you’re shopping for a new vehicle, you must consider where the vehicle will typically be driven and for what purpose. If you would buy a new rifle, you must consider what you plan to shoot with it. The form must be matched to serve the function.

A classy Corvette wouldn’t be a good choice in the northern mountains. Given the likelihood of blizzards and rocky back roads, a four-wheel-drive pickup will suit you better. Sure, they aren’t as classy looking and don’t get good mileage, but they are many times over more likely to get you where you need to go.

In a story about elephant hunting, the hunter reported that the tracks he followed were two feet wide. Think of a large tree, two feet in diameter, thumping down every elephant step! That trusty deer rifle wouldn’t do if you’re planning to hunt elephants. Elephant-hunting merits the biggest caliber you can find. Sure, that ammunition is very expensive, and your shoulder will remember the kick. But an elephant at 30 feet dictates a powerful gun. Form always follows function.

Apply those two examples to managing a functional society. What do we mean by a functioning society? Instinctively, we know what that implies for us. It works smoothly and allows every individual citizen to pursue his happiness. These values are expressed in our Declaration of Independence (the sacredness of individual lives and the liberty that allows everyone to fulfill their potential), and the Bill of Rights in the Constitution (matching the laws of nature and of nature’s creator). A functional society rests on the individual family unit, which is the cornerstone and model of society. Individuals contribute responsibly what they are able. We have the “feel” for a functional society because it works.

America” today is bifurcated and seemingly, evenly divided. There are the historical Americans we call patriots, who are convinced that America had it right in theory all along. There are the “woke” progressive citizens, who sign on to the belief that America has it all wrong and needs to be trashed. Their ideas of “function” don’t meet our definition and thus their form is contradictory.

When Donald Trump and the patriots say they want to make America great again, they are envisaging the historical America, affirming the unalienable natural rights of the citizens. When the progressives sign on to their own definition of function, they envisage creating a reset, called the Great Reset, with docile citizens as a collective, without individual rights but marching, lockstep, to the totalitarian agenda. Contradictory functions are served by antagonistic game plans.

Suppose we compromise and buy a front-wheel-drive sedan instead of that cumbersome pickup? Suppose we take our trusty deer rifle elephant hunting after all? It might work, but it’s not the best choice. If we subscribe to making the former America great again, we are facing far greater threats than blizzards: the antagonistic agenda of the woke progressives. We have a more hazardous route, by far, than rocky roads to get where we need to go. And the Swamp that they promote has proven to be far more intimidating that a bull elephant at 30 feet. So, we need to engage the very best program in existence to confront this daunting Swamp and support our function. And we don’t have “all day” to figure it all out and get where we need to go — alive.
Let’s say the apartment building is on fire. Well, Sally just lay down for her afternoon nap and Alice is right in the middle of finding out who wins the most money on “The Price is Right.” George and Bill are in the middle of their chess game. But none of that is important now. The apartment building is on fire! Deal with it now, before the flames start licking at the door frame and you decide that well, maybe, this fire thing is serious after all!

What I’m getting at is which form or game plan — which vehicle or rifle, if you will — do we need at this juncture? Our societal apartment is burning down. Do we pick the front-wheel-drive sedan or the deer rifle? Or do we go all-out? I say we go all-out — now.

This Great Reset of human society is a far greater obstacle to keep us from getting where we need to go than blizzards and rocky mountain roads. Our lives are on the line. So, for my money — and my life — I go with Donald Trump. I don’t think Donald Trump in 2024 can be the Donald Trump in 2016-2020. That was the “Last Hurrah,” and that “Championship Season” is in the record books. But Donald is still healthy, talented, and devoted. Trump still galvanizes the patriots. He is still the icon for taking on that Swamp, which is expanding by the day and threatens to flood the world instead of global warming.

While he has many critics, I’m on the same page with The Donald. He speaks the language of blue-collar construction workers, who build America, because their cause is his cause. But it is also the cause of grandma and the ladies of the guild. We’re all in the same apartment building. He isn’t always right — maybe, in this blizzard, he gets off-road sometimes. But he’s the one driving on rocky roads, in the blizzard, to get us where we need to go.

I think Ron DeSantis is great. Considering Trump’s successor, I can’t come up with a better man. And, to belabor our analogy, in four more years Trump may have smoothed out those roads enough so that a front-wheel-drive sedan will do. For now, we need all Trump’s four-wheel-drive muscle.

It was Florida that got the national ball rolling on self-defense and the “Castle Doctrine” — the right to use whatever force is necessary to protect our “castle,” our home. DeSantis is doing a great job defending the Floridians’ castle. He has proven that he is “a deadeye with his deer rifle.” In the next few years, he may gain the skill and the courage to also take aim at large targets: national/international challenges; the Great Reset/the Swamp. But Trump has already proven that he has the knowledge, the will, and the courage to confront them all, “at 30 feet.”

Form makes or breaks function — our functional society. We can’t remain asleep at the switch, hide behind entertainment, or play chess. This is the real world, folks. The apartment where we all live is burning down. We need the form that matches our functional society now.

    https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2022/11/should_it_be_trump_or_desantis_in_2024_.html

    • At this point in time we need a street fighter in the oval office. DeSantis or Lake following the Donald to finish off the Swamp is fine but we need a rough and tumble no holds barred fighter. We know Trump is like that, we don’t know any of the others are.

Plus the Dems actions Trump is the one they fear.

    • Richard: That go along to get along professional politicians are as much a danger to our freedom as the Marxists running the Democrat Party. They are more interested in personal power then in what is good for the US. They are elitists who have bought into the idea they are superior to the voters. They consider themselves to be the nobility in the modern world. We must vote the out of Congress as soon as possible.)

  14. reuters – The U.S. to grant $53 million to Ukraine for power transmission

BUCHAREST, Nov 29 (Reuters) – The United States on Tuesday announced $53 million to support the purchase of power grid equipment to Ukraine to help Kyiv fight Russian attacks targeting its energy infrastructure that left millions in the dark with no heating.

“This equipment will be rapidly delivered to Ukraine on an emergency basis to help Ukrainians persevere through the winter,” a State Department statement said, adding that the package would include distribution transformers, circuit breakers, surge arresters among other equipment.

Russia has been carrying out huge attacks on Ukraine’s electricity transmission and heating infrastructure roughly weekly since October, in what Kyiv and its allies say is a deliberate campaign to harm civilians, a war crime.

    • Ukraine Should Be Free to Hit Military Targets in Russia, Latvia Says

Latvian minister speaks in interview at NATO Bucharest meeting

US has held back on sending weapons that could reach Russia

Ukraine should be free to strike military sites inside Russia as it fends off attacks on its critical infrastructure, Latvia’s foreign minister said. But allies including the US have held back on sending weapons that can strike Russia.

“We should allow Ukrainians to use weapons to target missile sites or air fields from where those operations are being launched,” Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics said Tuesday in an interview on the sidelines of the NATO foreign ministers’ meeting in Bucharest. Allies “should not fear” escalation, he added.

While the US hasn’t imposed restrictions on how Ukraine uses weapons, it has so far declined to send weapons with sufficient range to strike inside Russia.

The Biden administration has provided Ukraine with increasingly sophisticated weapons, including multiple-launch rocket systems, but officials have balked at sending the Army Tactical Missile System, known as ATACMS, due to its ability to strike targets inside Russian territory.

Washington has so far declined to provide fighter jets, pointing to assessments that the aircraft would not improve Ukraine’s prospects. The introduction of longer-range weapons has spurred concerns that the conflict could escalate or widen to include the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

Those concerns are shared by Representative Michael McCaul, the Texas Republican who is set to take over as chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee once the GOP gains control of the chamber in January. In an interview, he said such attacks would erode public support for Ukraine.

Strikes inside Russia “would trigger a massive response from Russia and that truly would escalate the situation,” McCaul told Bloomberg News. “You have to weigh in the tremendous backlash and the world public opinion. The Ukrainians have done a phenomenal job being on the right side of this issue with the public opinion in their favor. That would be a step perhaps too far.”

Rinkevics said several other member states also believed Ukraine generally shouldn’t have constraints on how it uses weapons, but this is ultimately up to individual nations when they decide which weapons to provide to Kyiv.

      Allies Raise Issue
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis told reporters at the meeting that some countries were raising the issue of whether allies should provide weapons without imposing conditions, though “the consensus hasn’t changed.” Kyiv has been pushing for weapons from allies without “political caveats” since the beginning of the war, Landsbergis added.

Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani told Bloomberg that “we don’t want problems with the other countries,” saying that “we are not in danger directly.” He added: “We are against an escalation of the conflict.”

Ukraine has been pummeled by Russian missile attacks on its critical infrastructure, leaving millions of people without reliable sources of energy and water in the middle of winter. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg says more such attacks should be expected, especially as Russia loses ground on the battlefield.

Over the two-day meeting in Bucharest, allies are due to discuss sending Ukraine more air defense systems and other equipment to help Ukraine fend off the attacks, even as its current systems have taken down around two-thirds of Russian missiles in recent strikes.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that the high-end fashion brand Balenciaga has received internet backlash for a creepy ad that features two young girls holding stuffed animals dressed in what looks to be bondage gear.

In one photo, a little girl with fiery red hair is shown wearing one of the company’s T-shirts while she holds the strap of a white bear that is wearing a vest with a padlocked choker around its neck.

Another photo featured a little girl with brown hair wearing a blue outfit while holding a purple stuffed animal that was also dressed in BDSM gear.

The company also advertised a handbag with a copy of the Supreme Court’s decision in a child pornography case as a prop

Last week, Balenciaga issued an apology for their creepy child BDSM-themed photoshoot for the Spring/Summer 2023 collection that featured sexualized stuffed toys and child porn documents.

Now, a member of a worldwide street art crew, which has hundreds of artists as members, has sorted Balenciaga’s shop windows in New Bond Street in Central London.

This art protest campaign is called ‘Luxury Vandalism,’ (LV).

According to the artist, Joe Bloggs, more stores will be visited in due course.

“I took this action because I was so disgusted by their photo shoot, which clearly was exploiting children, exposing them to extreme adult sexual practices (BDSM), and had hidden references to child porn and even BAAL, who was a child sacrifice god,” Bloggs told The Gateway Pundit.

Whoever was in charge of that is truly evil. The company has released a half-hearted apology which is not acceptable. Kering, the company that owns Balenciaga, should shut all Balenciaga stores immediately. Kanye West is still parading around in clothes that he designed with Balenciaga plastered all over them (he wore the boots to Mar-A-Lago to meet President Trump, he should do the decent thing and burn it all in public. People like Kim Kardashian and Madonna have publicly worn items with yellow tape on. They are eerily silent over all this,” he added.

“The children’s innocence must be preserved. Child porn and child sacrifice are not cool, trendy, or cute. They are sick and evil beyond words. Balenciaga is finished as a brand. They must close all stores,” he continued.

Rep. Biggs made the assertion during an interview with the podcast “Conservative Review with Daniel Horowitz.”

Earlier this month, Rep. Biggs had ran against McCarthy for the Speaker nomination, but the House Minority Leader won with a vote of 188-31.

“But McCarthy needs to win 218 votes on Jan. 3, the first day of the next session of Congress, to become Speaker, and Republicans are set to hold only a narrow majority, meaning he cannot afford to lose many votes,” The Hill reports. “All Democrats will likely support their party’s nominee, which will likely be Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.). McCarthy warned in an interview with Newsmax on Monday that Democrats could pick the next Speaker if Republicans ‘play games’ on the House floor.”

Biggs and four other Republicans have publicly stated that they will not vote for McCarthy.

“Kevin McCarthy will revert to his establishment mean the moment he gets power, and that’s why there are enough of us now, a critical mass, standing as a bulwark against his ascension to the Speakership,” Gaetz said on former Trump adviser Stephen Bannon’s “War Room” show on Tuesday.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams issued a directive on Tuesday to city workers that will result in more individuals suffering from severe mental illness being taken involuntarily to local hospitals for psychiatric assessments, even if they pose no danger to themselves or others.

This new initiative will help those living on the streets or in the subway who have been diagnosed with a mental illness but have no access to treatment or shelter.

I want to talk to you about a crisis we see all around us: People with severe and untreated mental illness who live out in the open, on the streets, in our subways, in danger and in need,” Mayor Adams said in a press conference.

“The very nature of their illnesses keeps them from realizing they need intervention and support. Without that intervention, they remain lost and isolated from society, tormented by delusions and disordered thinking. They cycle in and out of hospitals and jails,” he added

Washington DC jurors reached a verdict in the garbage “seditious conspiracy” charges against Stewart Rhodes in the Oath Keepers Trial.

The jury announced they have reached a decision on Tuesday afternoon.

The verdict, which came after three days of deliberations, is expected to be read Tuesday afternoon.

The DC juries have found EVERY SINGLE Trump supporter guilty in their disgusting and unconstitutional criminal proceedings against honest Americans who were caught up in the violence on January 6.

Stewart Rhodes NEVER went inside the US Capitol. He never instructed anyone to go inside the US Capitol. And he was unarmed as were all of his associates that day.

The Oath Keepers were in DC to offer security for the several rallies planned on January 5th and 6th.

This is such a horrible travesty of justice!

  20. A Book of Psalms saved a victim’s life in Jerusalem terror attack

A man who was seriously injured in Tuesday’s Jerusalem bombing was spared from what could have been a fatal fate by none other than his book of Psalms – or Tehillim in Hebrew – which blocked a shard of debris from piercing his body, said Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

The victim, a 62-year-old man, arrived to Shaare Zedek hospital in serious condition and underwent a series of operations to remove shrapnel from his body.

While the man was recovering, visitors were stunned to discover that he had a book of psalms in his possession that was pierced almost entirely through by a shard of debris resulting from the explosion. The shard hit the back cover of the book and penetrated nearly all the way through – though stopping just short and potentially saving the man’s life.

    Coincidence or divine intervention?
The shard penetrated the book up to the 124th chapter of the Psalms before stopping at the line: “Our soul is like a bird that escaped from a box of hardships.”

The psalm that the shrapnel stopped is obviously very notable, as the message in the psalm is about being saved from hardship. The bus station bombing in Jerusalem on Tuesday killed two, including a 16-year-old boy, and wounded 18 others – including the fortunate man who had this book of psalms with him.

  21. Former Commander in 101st Airborne: Refusing Jab Was a ‘No Brainer’

The Gateway Pundit has reported on the impact of COVID vaccine requirements on our military and the readiness of our fighting forces including several interviews with members of the military. The interviews reveal the unjust treatment that military members have been subjected to under the unlawful mandate.

The mandate has forced thousands out of military service and discouraged new recruits from joining. Military recruiting and retention is suffering.

Lt. John Bowes submitted a request for a religious accommodation last year to the US military to excuse him from taking the experimental COVID vaccine, a request that was later denied. Lt. Bowes has been grounded since the denial last September.

Fighter pilot Capt. Tom Stewart, USMC, described his personal story of challenging the US Military vaccine mandates. This included the unlawful process they used to ground US pilots back in September, wasting nine months of manpower and resources.

In May of 2022, over 500 members of the military filed a lawsuit against the government arguing that the vaccine mandate is illegal because there is no approved vaccine available in the US.

Former Army lieutenant colonel Bradley Miller recently shared his decision to resign from the Army rather that be forced to take the vaccine, a decision he called a “no brainer.”

The decision cost his command, career, and, because he did not make it to 20 years, his retirement.

    American Family News reports:

“I left the institution, [and] there’s not a day that has gone by where I have ever regretted the decision that I made,” Miller shares. “And if I had to make it all over again, I would do the exact same thing.

Bradley Miller, a former lieutenant colonel in the Army, was a battalion commander in the 101st Airborne Division at the time of Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s August 2021 announcement of the military vaccine mandate. Miller refused the vaccine and was subsequently relieved of command in October 2021

And with that, Miller tells American Family News he decided to resign from the Army after it published a directive in January 2022 stating it would separate unvaccinated soldiers. His service officially came to an end on September 15, 2022. After 19 years, 3 months, and 15 days of service, he still considers it a “no brainer” to have refused the COVID shot.

“I was very well aware of the ramifications my decision would have for my command, my career, and my retirement,” he admits. “But in my mind, I was placed in a situation where I had to choose the harder right over the easier wrong.”

For Miller, it felt like he was placed in a situation where he had to “either choose the Army or choose the country.” He shares he’s proud to have chosen his country, adding that “far too many leaders of the military have turned their back on the country.”

“[It’s] an order of precedence,” he says. “No one should align with the Armed Forces over the country, [because] the Armed Forces exist to protect the country – it’s not the other way around.” He adds: “It also makes no sense to love the military more than the country.”

Miller acknowledges his decision came at a cost – and that he knew “full well” what was going to be sacrificed.

felt like my continued service would have constituted an unspoken endorsement of everything that was going on [surrounding the military vaccine mandate] – and I was not going to have that. My values no longer aligned with the values of the senior leadership of the Department of Defense.”

And a result, he states, “I left the military with my integrity intact and my oath to the Constitution unbroken” – adding, for emphasis: “That’s far more important.”

  23. Jonathan Tobin:
The whole truth about Ukraine’s past matters

It would only be decades later, largely as a result of pioneering scholarly works like historian Robert Conquest’s Harvest of Sorrow, that the extent of Soviet responsibility for genocide in Ukraine became widely known. The story of the unsuccessful contemporary efforts to tell the world about the Holodomor—as well as of Duranty’s infamy—is also told in the 2019 film “Mr. Jones.”

Even today, many who might have some knowledge of the Holocaust and be familiar with a few of the details of other genocides—such as the Turkish slaughter of Armenians during the First World War; the Khymer Rouge mass murder of Cambodians from 1975-79; the Hutu mass murder of Tutsis in Rwanda in 1994; or even what is currently happening to the Uyghurs in Communist China—know little or nothing of the Holodomor.

Like the Holocaust that followed a decade later, it was an example of how a despotic government could put in motion a systematic effort, enforced by bureaucrats and police, to cause the death of millions while brushing aside any resistance. Among other lessons, it has taught us that placing absolute power, untrammeled by any constitutional or legal restraints, in the hands of any government, always leads to disaster and horror.

This brings us back to Ukraine’s own past behavior, about which the same type of veracity is warranted, as well.

When he addressed the Knesset in a virtual speech last spring to pressure Israel to join the war against Russia, Zelenskyy spoke of the Holocaust. But in doing so, he put forward the LIE that the Ukrainian people had stood with the Jews targeted by the Nazis.

The truth, however, is that Ukrainians were among the most enthusiastic of the Nazis’ collaborators. This was due, in part, to their mistaken belief that anything had to be better than Stalin’s genocidal rule.

While the Ukrainians initially welcomed the German invaders, they soon realized that Hitler was no better than Stalin. But their enthusiastic participation in the Holocaust was a product of the virulent antisemitism that had been part of their national culture dating back centuries.

That was the history that Zelenskyy sought to falsify when spouting the lie about Ukrainian solidarity with Jews during the Holocaust. It was the sort of display that would have led to widespread condemnation by the Jewish world had he not already been anointed as the 21st century version of Winston Churchill for leading the defense of his country.

Sympathy for Ukraine is understandable. Tolerance for what amounts to Holocaust denial on the part of its leaders, along with a refusal to acknowledge their national movement’s unfortunate association with antisemitism, is not.

As Ukrainians justifiably seek to remind the world about the Holodomor and the legacy of Moscow’s attempts to crush them throughout history, is it really too much to ask that their leaders not lie about their own stained past?

  25. New York Times Protects Balenciaga Over Pedo Images – Blames QAnon Instead

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Balenciaga is facing major backlash after a new ad depicted several young girls holding stuffed teddy bears in bondage gear.

In a secondary report, it was discovered Balenciaga used a copy of United States v. Williams which was a child pornography case decided by the Supreme Court, as a prop.

Only after major pushback ensued, Balenciaga apologized and sued the production company for the subliminal messages contained in the photo shoot.Despite even apologizing for the shoot, The New York Times has just written a lengthy puff piece titled “When High Fashion and QAnon Collide”.

The article which took three journalists to write essentially protected Balenciaga in almost every line and blamed QAnon, Tucker Carlson, The New York Post, and Fox News for the new public belief the luxury brand condones child exploitation.

What to expect in Russia’s winter offensive in Ukraine
    {snips}
Wading through the 18,000-word transcript of an hours-long meeting that President Vladimir Putin took with the “soldiers’ mothers” last Friday in Moscow, one gets the impression that the fighting in Ukraine may continue well into 2023 – and even beyond.

In a most revealing remark, Putin acknowledged that Moscow blundered in 2014 by leaving Donbass an unfinished business – unlike Crimea – by allowing itself to be lured into the ceasefire brokered by Germany and France and the Minsk agreements.
    …..
For the first time, perhaps, an incumbent Kremlin leader admitted making mistakes. The above poignant passage, therefore, becomes a touchstone for Putin’s future decisions, as the Russian mobilisation approaches the final stage…
    …..
How does this translate as political reality?

First and foremost, much as Moscow is open for dialogue without preconditions, Russian negotiators will be bound by the recent amendments to the country’s Constitution, which incorporated Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson, and Zaporozhye regions as part of the Russian Federation.

Second, Friday’s meeting has been, by any reckoning, an audacious initiative by Putin – risky, politically speaking. His interlocutors included mothers drawn from far-flung regions, whose sons are either actively fighting on the warfront, or have experienced the tragedy of sons having been killed in the fighting, or seriously wounded and need prolonged rehabilitation.
    …..
Putin claimed openly – highly unusual for a Kremlin leader – that he went prepared for the meeting. But he still had surprises in store. Such meetings are impossible to be choreographed as pent-up emotions are in play in front of TV cameras.

Thus, Marina Bakhilina from Sakha Republic, mother of three sons… told Putin: “Do you understand what’s going on? If our people can’t provide our soldiers with hot meals, I, as a master of sports and a shooting CMC, would love to go there, to the front line to cook.”

Putin replied gently, “It would seem that the issues have already been mostly resolved… it means that not everything is normal…”

Strategic and tactical blunders we've been hearing about for months from friends and family on the ground in both countries. It's even been gently, carefully discussed in Russian MSM.

Yet alt-media propagandists in the West refuse to concede setbacks, the "4-D chess" strategy. Larry Johnson, Col. Macgregor, Martyanov, the Duran, et al. had to know too. They figure we can't handle reality?

What stands out in such frank exchanges is Putin’s massive political capital, derived out of the great consolidation he has mustered in getting the nation to rally behind him.
    …..
If economic hardships lead to social unrest and political turmoil in western Europe, the politicians in power will be at a disadvantage. Putin is fighting a “People’s War,” while western politicians cannot even admit that they are fighting Russia.

But how long can it be hidden from the public view in Poland or France that their nationals are getting killed in Ukraine’s steppe? Can the western politicians pledge that their “volunteers” didn’t die in vain? What happens if a refugee flow out of Ukraine into western Europe begins as winter advances?

In military terms, Russia enjoys escalation dominance – a markedly superior position over its NATO rival, across a range of rungs as the conflict progresses.
    …..
Taken together, all these elements define Russia’s so-called winter offensive. Putin’s hand-picked theatre commander in Ukraine General Sergei Surovikin is not in the mould of Patton or MacArthur.

Gen. Armageddon has been ordered to play Gen. Kid-Gloves till UA does something really egregious.

Basically, he holds the compass of the special military operations, while incorporating the experience accruing through the past 8 months of NATO involvement in the fighting.

But never once did Putin use the expression “war” to characterise the conflict.

    https://www.indianpunchline.com/what-to-expect-in-russias-winter-offensive-in-ukraine/

  27. Ok. The ‘Special Military Operation’ will become ‘War’ when the time is right. The propaganda is ratcheting up. Shaman is a monster-popular music group.
