1. Walmart Mass Shooter Left Behind Suicide Note – Includes 4 Words Media Doesn’t Want to Talk About

The way you can tell the media is going to move on from the shooting at a Chesapeake, Virginia, Walmart that claimed the lives of six people is that there’s absolutely no handle for them.

Race? Not a factor — accused shooter Andre Bing, who later killed himself, was black. The gun? Not an AR-15 or an associated long rifle — the handgun he used was legally purchased. His victims weren’t chosen for any other reason than that they were his coworkers at the store.

And there are four words you definitely won’t hear them talk about from the alleged shooter’s suicide note: “led by the Satan.”

3. Elon Musk Says He Could Create ‘Alternative Phone’ If Apple & Google Boot Twitter From App Store

(OK that would be fantastic. But what would also be fantastic, is a 3rd choice for a computer. Something not a Mac and not a PC. Maybe something with the OS masked onto a chip that can be replaced when new versions come out so it can’t really get a virus etc.)

Twitter CEO Elon Musk said he might create an “alternative phone” if the Apple App Store and Google Play remove Twitter from their platforms.

“If Apple & Google boot Twitter from their app stores, @elonmusk should produce his own smartphone,” conservative commentator Liz Wheeler tweeted. “Half the country would happily ditch the biased, snooping iPhone & Android. The man builds rockets to Mars, a silly little smartphone should be easy, right?”

“I certainly hope it does not come to that,” Musk responded, “but, yes, if there is no other choice, I will make an alternative phone.”

4. Russian Lawmakers Pass Law Banning LGBTQ ‘Propaganda’ Among All Ages

The Russian parliament passed a bill on Thursday that effectively outlaws any public demonstration of an LGBTQ lifestyle and behavior, as it expands a ban on “LGBT propaganda.”

According to the Guardian, the law criminalizes any attempt to promote “non-traditional sexual relations” in movies, online, advertisements, or in public.

  1. There are other computers out there. I’m currently typing this on an ARM-based laptop running Linux.

There’s also the Raptor CS with POWER9 chip. That one is ridiculously expensive, though.

Some Android phones can also be de-Googled. That’s a huge start already. Then they have alternative app stores for the de-Googled phones. Works for me. No Google account. A1.
