Reader’s Links for November 8th, 2022

Here is a link to the VladTepesBlog social media Mastodon Pod. Please feel free to check it out and sign up for an account if you are sufficiently annoyed with Twitter and Facebook to try something new.

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

    • If the democrats steal this one as the socialists did in Brazil, it could well be ominous and in more ways than one as I expect China to then move against Taiwan.

I have a friend in Brazil and according to her, they want blood over the election theft, and this could also tip over if similar hits the US.

  1. Now that I know the RSV vaxxine is an M-RNA poison, it seems that they (Pfitzer and the globalists) are very unhappy with the poor culling results (so far) of the CV poisons so now they intend to attack the child in the womb.
If this is not genocide in action, I would like to know what is.
The mere fact that they refuse totally to admit their guilt and in fact are extending the capacity to kill, means that they well know what is going on and intend to keep pushing humanity over the cliff with the woke lemmings leading, BUT with the globalists and their minions all smiling smugly.
Hanging is far too kind to these creatures.

      • Nice point!
There are 3 methods of such IIRC.
IMHO the method that is by far the worst is the one that simply closes off the venous return from the head and is responsible for the infamous 10-30mins of “dancing”, swollen tongue, head etc.
The irony here was that this usually only applied to young or low weight individuals often children or women (I am deliberately ignoring the “well hung executioner” point here).
Death via cervical fracture is at least apparently quick, if you call asphyxiation such, while most commonly, death is via obstruction of the carotids and that is relatively painless. How do I know this?
Believe me! I do, for certain as i have been strangled unconscious and NOT in some weird SM sexual encounter.

        • Apropos, see:
          Masih Alinejad @AlinejadMasih • Nov 6

227 members of the 290-seat Parliament in Iran have called on the Judiciary to issue death sentences for people arrested during the ongoing uprising.
They want to execute innocent protesters who chanted Woman Life Freedom.

The world must stop this act of terror.

Wow. These guys and their families will be punished for this. This takes courage. When will US leaders end the JCPOA once and for all with SnapBack?

Members of Iran’s national beach soccer team refused to sing the Islamic Republic’s anthem at the beginning of a match in UAE Intercontinental Beach Soccer Cup. Surprised by the act of protest, Iran’s state TV stopped its live broadcast.

  2. On the anatomy of the diesel shortage. (spoiler: green energy policies of our governments make investment in more refineries unattractive):

  3. europravda – Ursula von der Leyen: northern countries must follow EU and pledge funding to global south

Ursula von der Leyen has called on northern countries to follow the EU’s example of committing to climate funding for the global south.

The outrage at Iran’s role in the Ukraine war is welcome but where was that outrage by the same people on the left while Iran did the exact same thing in Syria while the JCPOA was being negotiated? 500000 Syrians were slaughtered while the left obfuscated.

The pro-JCPOA (and by extension & sharp correlation Iran-sympathetic) LEFT in the US & Europe is now between a rock & a hard place. They all post Ukrainian flags like drones (pun intended), but can’t figure out how to reconcile that with Iranian drones raining down on Ukrainians.

It’s the same Iran that Obama told us might come out from the cold and benefit from economic integration. His echo chamber created smokescreens to obfuscate its relationship with its Houthi militia, Hezbollah, & Iraqi militias. Iran never changed. They are consistent & criminal.…

The Obama folks sold a fantasy that there are moderates and hardliners in Iran, and that everyone should support the good guys against the bad guys…

The Obama folks in the WH were negotiating with Iran via Russia *AFTER* the invasion of Ukraine. They accepted to negotiate via a host of intermediaries while the Iranians refused to meet them directly. All the while, they expended much effort pathologically denigrating KSA.…

The same Obama worldview that is alive in the White House today torched the Middle East and gave American adversaries like Russia and China a green light to advance. It eliminates deterrence. This is the Obama legacy. The Obama doctrine has consequences.

That doctrine has diligently sought to weaken American power in the world. Naturally, that alarmed America’s allies like Saudi Arabia, the Gulf states, and Israel. Biden’s speech in Jeddah was powerful and reassuring, but the relapse was swift.

The Middle East has been living almost 15 years of the Obama doctrine only briefly interrupted by an unusual Trump presidency. That is 15 years of departure from an America committed to protecting its world order and its global equities. Allies are wondering: is this permanent?

[…]This idea that US partners in the Middle East are siding with Russia is an asinine one. It is the American Obama doctrine that underwrote the equities of US adversaries like Iran, Russia, and China around the world while abusing US allies. Bad policies have consequences…

The Obama/International Crisis Group Middle East doctrine is one that ignores the realities of the region. It thinks that everyone in the ME is rabidly anti-American, anti-imperialist, and thirdworldist revolutionary. That is false.

Young people in the Middle East are very different than what Marxist anti-US college professors convince Washington policy-makers they are. They comprise a huge youth bulge that is promising and worth investing in…

[I]n in the gulf, young folks are enjoying a renaissance despite a lack of US support & the liberal media’s constant bullying on all fronts. Even the harassment of US artists who perform in KSA, & the Washington Post FP of trashing Gulf Arabs always fails. But at least…

At least support the brave women in Iran being killed by the very regime that slaughtered half a million Syrians and is now killing Ukrainians. You abandoned Salman Rushdie after the Iranian Revolution mutilated him, don’t abandon Iran’s young people…
