Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. After the last Elections, Australia has now a Federal Labor/Greens/Fake-Independents Government led by a repulsive little man (Albanese) whose Hero is Jew Hater Jeremy Corbyn.

All but 2 State Leaders are “Conservative” (Tasmania and NSW). The NSW state elections in March 2023 will probably go Labor also, which means Australia will be basically wall-to-wall Labor (Davos Communist).

So, we here in NSW have a little respite from Corona-Nazism until the elections. (little token gestures like we only have to quarantaine 5 days instead of 7 if we have the flu and do not have to wear the face mask in public transport)

But the State of Western Australia is ruled by Mark McGowan, a dangerous Totalitarian who, in the absence of any credible opposition and probably with the help from the Uncle in Davos, “won” his recent election in a landslide.

The following piece (with video) is long and involved but it shows in detail a law which is just about to be passed (since this Premier controls the upper and lower house of parliament ). It will be the precedent for the whole of Australia in the very near future.

    • Correction in para 2:

“All but 2 State Leaders are “Conservative” (Tasmania and NSW). ”

      should read:

ONLY 2 State Leaders are “Conservative” (Tasmania and NSW).

  2. “Did you hear about the new protests down on Earth? People are going to art galleries and just standing with their noses on the the canvases of paintings.” Merle swung away from the telescope, taking a sip of Mung blood. It was Saturday night on Mars. The two old friends had some catching up to do. Argyle had been on holiday on Phobos.
“No, I haven’t heard. How on Earth is that a protest?”
“It began at the Guggenheim. Some guy was arrested for doing it, but got his point across well enough. He said he was protesting government control of information by dominating media outlets. He said that by standing with his nose on the canvas it was impossible to see the whole picture. Thousands started doing it all over until museums put barriers in front of paintings to prevent it. Then people just stood there like statues, instead. Police started arresting people simply for standing. Finally another man sued, saying his standing in front of a postmodern painting was, itself, an interactive expression of post-postmodernism, and he got off!”
“Crazy,” said Argyle. “Let me take a look.” The two Martians switched places. Argyle adjusted the focus. “Those poor Earthlings are losing their minds. Now they’re talking about nuclear war.”
“Another line of effort to create fear, possibly.”
“Possibly. Or maybe the shadow power intends to actually detonate a tactical weapon to really incite terror for control.”
“Right. Except the tactical objective is not against a battle field enemy, but against all of humanity.”
    “Satanic bastards.”
“They have to take a step back, no pun intended.”
“They’ve invented thoroughly effective and penetrating communications. Of course the result is chaos. Infinitely expanding co-centric circles of suspicion compel people to try to capture understanding what’s going on. It’s making them hysterical.”

Argyle finished his own glass of Mung blood and sighed. He peeked again into the telescope lens then turned to Merle. “My worry is that they’ll forget the civilization they had. All it takes is twenty years.”

  3. U.S. rule on gender care meets Arkansas fight

Arkansas officials are pushing back against a proposed federal rule change that could require Medicaid providers and private insurers to cover gender-affirming health care treatments.

If adopted, the proposed change from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services would strengthen protections against discrimination in health care for LGBT people. The proposed rule change, announced in July, would undo a rule change made under the Trump Administration.

Arkansas Department of Human Services Deputy Director Mark White told lawmakers during a committee meeting Wednesday that, if adopted, the rule change could apply to the state’s Medicaid program and private health insurance plans.

“With these proposed rules, the department attempts to enact a radical policy agenda without legal authority to do so,” White wrote in a letter to U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra.

They’re already significantly below their production caps, so this is a much smaller cut than it appears. It certainly makes a *statement*, and THAT does indeed affect market behavior. Digits in the ether.

Production capacity is strained for nuts-&-bolts reasons. The industry is not efficient without longterm contracts that ensure predictable capital flows. To meet the costs of maintaining infrastructure and responding to events and externalities.

Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it received 249 pages of records from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) detailing the extensive media plans for a propaganda campaign to push the COVID-19 vaccine.

The records were received in in response to an August 2021 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)lawsuit filed after HHS failed to respond to a April 19, 2021 request for records related to the Biden HHS’ “COVID-19 Community Corps” program (Judicial Watch v. Boston Children’s Hospital says children can know they’re transgender ‘from the womb’ in deleted video

The hospital created the first pediatric center in the country dedicated to gender-affirming surgeries

Dr. Kerry McGregor goes on to say in the video that some children express their gender identity as soon as they can talk. “They may say phrases like ‘I’m a girl’ or ‘I’m a boy,'” she states.

“Kids know very, very early,” the psychologist claims. “We see a variety of young children, all the way down to ages 2 and 3 and usually up to the ages of 9.”

Boston Children’s did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital about the video.

The hospital’s website claims the GeMS clinic treats “gender-diverse children, teens, and young adults” with “gender-affirming care” that includes “physical and psychological assessment, ongoing medical care, and additional referrals as needed.”

The Harvard-affiliated hospital created the first pediatric and adolescent transgender health program in America, according to its Center for Gender Surgery website.

The hospital has come under fire recently after it modified language on its website stating it performs gender-affirmation surgeries on minors. The website now states teens must be 18 years old to be eligible for surgery.

A spokesperson for the facility previously explained to Fox News Digital that the language had been updated and 17-year-olds were only eligible for surgical consultations.

Other children’s hospitals have attracted concerns as well for the services they offer to their patients.

Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., listed “gender-affirming medical care and gender-affirming hysterectomy” among the services offered for “patients between the ages of 0-21,” according to internet archives, Fox reported.

However, the website appeared to delete the reference after the conservative Twitter account Libs of TikTok highlighted it.

Activist Christopher Rufo also reported that Chicago’s largest children’s hospital, Lurie’s Children’s Hospital of Chicago, offers “kink,” “BDSM” and “trans-friendly” sex toys for children.

  6. ‘Racism’: Rep. Cori Bush Says Doctors Forced Her To Have An Abortion
    Posted On October 7, 2022
Democratic Missouri Rep. Cori Bush had an abortion against her will after telling medical professionals she wasn’t ready, she said in a recent interview on PBS’s Firing Line with Margaret Hoover.

Bush went to a clinic for her second abortion at 19 years old but changed her mind, repeatedly telling staff she wasn’t ready, she said. They ignored her pleas, put an instrument inside her body and performed the abortion against Bush’s will.

“I just felt like I needed more time, so I said no, you know what, I’m not ready,” she said. “And the nurse just wouldn’t listen to me … as I’m saying no, they continue to pull the instruments and get everything ready … they absolutely ignored me, even to the point of, you know, ‘calm down,’ as if I was the problem … they put the instrument inside me and started the instrument. I’m saying ‘no,’ but it was too late because you couldn’t stop once it started.”

  7. 12 Cases That Prove ‘Good Guys With Guns’ Theory Far From Over
    Posted On October 7, 2022
In a press conference defending the state’s new restrictions on concealed carry permit holders, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, a Democrat, told reporters last month: “This whole concept that a good guy with a gun will stop the bad guys with a gun, it doesn’t hold up. And the data bears this out, so that theory is over.”

With all due respect to the governor, she clearly hasn’t actually looked at the data.

Almost every major study on the issue has found that Americans use their firearms in self-defense between 500,000 and 3 million times annually, according to the latest report on the subject by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Just this year, a more comprehensive study concluded that roughly 1.6 million defensive gun uses occur in the United States every year.

For this reason, The Daily Signal each month publishes an article highlighting some of the previous month’s many news stories on defensive gun use that you may have missed—or that might not have made it to the national spotlight in the first place. (Read other accounts here from 2019, 2020, 2021, and so far in 2022.)

The examples below represent only a fraction of the news stories on defensive gun use that we found in September. You may explore more by using The Heritage Foundation’s interactive Defensive Gun Use Database. (The Daily Signal is Heritage’s multimedia news organization.)

  8. bloomberg – Germany to Burn Almost 800 Million Unused Covid Masks

Germany is set to burn almost 800 million unused face masks purchased in the first months of the pandemic because they have passed their sell-by date.

Initial calls for tenders have been issued for candidates to “thermally dispose” of about 730 million surgical and 60 million FFP-2 expired medical face covers, the health ministry’s press service said on Friday, confirming an earlier report by Der Spiegel magazine. In addition, about 20% of masks procured since March 2020 were deemed to have quality defects, the ministry said.

Germany spent €6 billion ($5.9 billion) on face covers at the start of the pandemic, according to Spiegel. Former Health Minister Jens Spahn was criticized at the time for excessive procurement and for using personal connections to buy masks, steps he defended by citing major supply shortages and a desperation to obtain protective coverings swiftly.

  9. EXCLUSIVE: Jim Jordan Launches Congressional Inquiry Into FBI Raid on Mark Houck, DOJ’s Political Enforcement of FACE Act
    Posted On October 7, 2022
Republicans Reps. Jim Jordan of Ohio and Mike Johnson of Louisiana are launching a congressional inquiry into the Justice Department’s political enforcement of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, The Daily Signal has learned.

“Several recent actions by the Department reinforce the conclusion that the Justice Department is using its federal law enforcement authority as a weapon against the administration’s political opponents,” the Republican congressmen said in a letter to both Jacqueline Romero, the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and Attorney General Merrick Garland. “Since the unprecedented leak of a draft Supreme Court opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the Justice Department has politicized enforcement of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act.”

They continued: “We write to conduct oversight of your authorization of a dawn raid of the home of a pro-life leader, in front of his wife and seven children, when he had offered to voluntarily cooperate with authorities.”

  11. FMR. REP. TULSI GABBARD: Leaks coming from law enforcement agencies are not good. We often see them happening in the lead-up to elections regardless of which party they are seeking to influence. Our law enforcement entities need to be apolitical so that we can faith in the rule of law.

But what we are seeing here is pointing to something much bigger than what Hunter Biden ends up actually being charged with or indicted with or not. What this reminds me of, which is especially important as we head into this coming election in just a few weeks, early voting has already kicked off in some states, is how our democracy was stolen in 2020.

We saw how heads, former heads of intelligence agencies, the FBI, law enforcement agencies, colluding with Big Tech social media companies and the mainstream media decided hey, we don’t want the American voter to know what the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop are because we know that they are more likely to vote for Donald Trump instead of Joe Biden if they actually find out what was there.

So they intentionally worked together to withhold that information from voters across the country as they were trying to figure out who to vote for, stealing our democracy.

  13. “Chatter #284 – Dr Andrew G. Huff – The Truth About Wuhan: Uncovering The Biggest Lie In History”

Dr Andrew G. Huff, former EcoHealth Alliance turned whistleblower was my guest on today’s show. In this show, we discuss the insurmountable amount of evidence of that Covid-19 originated in a laboratory in Wuhan that was receiving US government funding. Most importantly that Anthony Fauci acted alongside other key players to cover this fact up. Most stunningly Andrew revealed to me that data that became classified research was stolen from the safe in his house, he believes by legal authorities before possibly falling into the wrong hands…

His upcoming book The Truth about Wuhan contains new research and a breakdown of how and why the development of COVID-19 in the United States and China was supported by the US government to collect intelligence on laboratories in China. Dr. Huff, an expert in the fields of bioterrorism and bio warfare, is a whistleblower who will show why the lab leak was covered up. He worked on the classified research side of the program as a US government scientist. He knows the real answers to how and why COVID-19 emerged. Besides exposing the conspiracy and cover-up, Dr. Huff also puts forth policy solutions and recommendations to prevent a lab leak virus from plaguing the world again.

  14. Hand-counting ballots may sound nice. It’s actually less accurate and more expensive

Many Americans are unfamiliar with how elections are run. And in recent years, purveyors of false claims have taken advantage of that lack of knowledge to sow doubts about certain aspects of the voting process.

In response, NPR’s voting team is offering a series of explainers on some of these election topics. This is the second.

You can find all of our stories here.

It’s a common refrain from election deniers and the Republicans who support them this election cycle: Get rid of the machines.

According to many conspiracy theorists, the 2020 election was stolen by an algorithm, therefore if you take computers out of the voting process you can further secure your election.

At a county commission meeting in Nevada’s Nye County this past March, for instance, Jim Marchant, an election denier who is the GOP nominee to be that state’s secretary of state, implored local officials to ditch their vote-counting equipment.

“It is imperative that you secure the trust of your constituents in Nye County by ensuring that you have a fair and transparent election and the only way to do that is to not use electronic voting or tabulation machines,” he said.

It’s a false sentiment that has festered in far-right corners across the country, shepherded by election denial influencers like MyPillow founder Mike Lindell and his acolytes.

In some cases, officials are listening. Nye County is planning to hand-count ballots, alongside machine tabulation, in this November’s midterm elections, and another county in Nevada, Esmeralda, spent more than seven hours hand-counting just 317 ballots as part of its certification of this summer’s primary election.

Polling also shows that Republicans nationwide have in recent years grown more skeptical of machines helping to tabulate their votes.

In Minnesota, a group has been going county-to-county urging them to ditch their tabulators, according to the Secretary of State Steve Simon.

“No county, thankfully, has gone in for that. But it is a movement and we’re keeping our eye on it,” Simon, a Democrat, said in an interview with NPR. “It’s distressing to see.”

    What the research has found

Hand-counting ballots is a voting “solution” that, to those without familiarity with elections, may sound nice. The problem is that counting tactic has actually been found to be significantly less accurate, more expensive and more time-consuming than using tabulation equipment.

“Computers — which ballot scanners rely on — are very good at tedious, repetitive tasks. Humans are bad at them,” wrote Charles Stewart III, who directs the MIT Election Data and Science Lab, in the Washington Post. “Counting votes is tedious and repetitive.”

Stewart coauthored a study in 2018 that found ballot scanners to be more accurate than hand counts. The study focused on two statewide races with recounts in Wisconsin, where some localities do count ballots by hand and others count ballots using machines:

In Wisconsin’s 2011 Supreme Court election recount, the hand-counted paper ballots differed from the recount by 0.28 percent while the difference for scanned paper ballots was 0.15 percent. In its 2016 recount of the presidential election, hand-counted paper ballots were off by 0.18 percent while scanned ballots were off by 0.13 percent.

In short, in both races, the ballots that were counted using scanners were closer to the recounted totals. A separate study from the early 2000s focused on New Hampshire and found the same thing.

“All the data shows it is less accurate to do a hand count,” says Simon. “What you’re really asking beleaguered and tired election judges to do at the end of a very long day is to not just do one hand count; if there are 30 contests on a ballot, you’re asking them to do 30 individual and separate hand counts. And people are people. They get tired, they make mistakes. ”

Moving back toward hand-counting ballots would also significantly increase costs for local election offices that are perennially under-resourced, says Jennifer Morrell, an elections consultant and former local voting administrator.

The staff size at almost every election office across the country would need to exponentially increase, and even then, hand-counting dozens of races on tens of millions of ballots would probably take weeks or months.

Considering many of the Republicans who are calling for hand counts are the same people who cast doubt on the 2020 election because results weren’t finalized on election night, Morrell says it shows they haven’t done their research.

“I just think they don’t understand what that looks like and how much time that takes and what the process is to do it accurately and correctly,” Morrell said. “Or they wouldn’t be calling for that.”
