Here is a link to the VladTepesBlog social media Mastodon Pod. Please feel free to check it out and sign up for an account if you are sufficiently annoyed with Twitter and Facebook to try something new.

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. FBI’s termination letter to disgraced former agent Peter Strzok released and it’s SMOKIN’
    October 2, 2022 | Chris Donaldson | Print Article
Disgraced former FBI special agent Peter Strzok was slammed by a top agency official over his “sustained pattern of bad judgment” and “selfishness” that seriously damaged the reputation and credibility of the bureau in a scathing draft of his termination letter.

Strzok’s hatred of former President Donald J. Trump and obsession with the debunked Russiagate conspiracy theory that the ex-POTUS was in cahoots with the Kremlin clearly affected his judgement, resulting in anti-Trump text messages that were deeply embarrassing to the nation’s foremost law enforcement agency, leading to his firing in 2018, a steamy, adulterous affair with FBI attorney Lisa Page also didn’t help.

  2. Joy Reid comes to defense of looters, likens warning from DeSantis to race threats from ‘segregationist’
    October 2, 2022 | Vivek Saxena | Print Article
Radically far-left MSNBC host Joy Reid has taken grave offense to a warning Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis delivered last week to what is apparently her favorite constituent group — criminals.

As previously reported, after Hurricane Ian struck Florida last week, the Republican governor warned would-be looters that the state’s residents are armed and ready to shoot if necessary.

“Don’t even think about looting. Don’t even think about taking advantage of people in this vulnerable situation. You can have people bringing boats into some of these islands and trying to ransack people’s homes. I can tell you, in the state of Florida, you never know what may be lurking behind somebody’s home. And I would not want to chance that if I were you, given that we’re a Second Amendment state,” he said at an event Friday.

Mike Lindell’s phone was taken by FBI agents on September 13th outside a Minnesota Hardee’s.
Now, the search warrant Mike says the FBI showed him is under dispute.
In a hearing before a Trump-appointed judge in his civil case against the FBI and the US Department of Justice, government lawyers said they wouldn’t concede that the search warrant filed by Mike’s legal team was “true and correct.”
    What is going on?

  4. Anti-Terrorist Commander Describes Shootout in Jenin

Chief Superintendent D., 48, commander of the IDF’s Mista’arvim special forces counter-terrorist squad, described Wednesday’s shootout in Jenin in the West Bank.

“The militants rained thousands of rounds of bullets at us, and for the first time used improvised explosive devices (IEDs).”

“They prepared a death trap for us. They rigged the entrance to the house, and as soon as they spotted us, they activated four explosive charges of dozens of kilograms one after the other.”

“It was of a magnitude I had never encountered before. There was a huge blast, the earth shook under our feet.”

“The whole operation to take out the wanted terrorists took ten minutes, but the exchanges of fire with camp militants lasted much longer.”

Under heavy fire, the force summoned armored vehicles to pick them up.

“The troops crawled like in boot camp to take cover and after three hours of fighting we managed to get to safety.”

  6. Elon Musk has joined in the chorus of people condemning Kamala Harris for her assertion that hurricane relief money should go to “communities of color” first.
Harris made the racist remarks while talking to far left activist and actress Priyanka Chopra during the women’s leadership forum in Washington, D.C. held by the Democratic National Committee.

“It is our lowest income communities and our communities of color that are most impacted by these extreme conditions and impacted by issues that are not of their own making,” Harris said. “And so we have to address this in a way that is about giving resources based on equity, understanding that we fight for equality, but we also need to fight for equity, understanding not everyone starts out at the same place.

Note: some claim her remarks were generic global warming ones, but, the point stands regardless of the specifics.

  7. Note: early September article, but relevant:

The point of that article was to provide a strong confirmation that Covid-19 vaccination in pregnant or lactating women is “safe and effective”.

Yeah, it is safe and effective… except for one small problem mentioned in passing… 121 breastfed infants were having problems after their mothers received their booster shots. The nature of the problems is not being disclosed.

Before we go on, please appreciate the “conflict of interest” disclosures in the article. Most of the scientists in the study are sponsored by vaccine companies, but specifically Dr. Kachikis and Dr. Englund report being sponsored by Covid vaccine makers Pfizer, Moderna, and AstraZeneca.

  8. Warmongering Lindsey Graham Demands Biden Designate Russia “State Sponsor of Terror”
    will October 3, 2022 SHARE
South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham is at it again, this time kicking the warmongering up to 11 and demanding that President Joe Biden designate the Russian Federation as a “state sponsor of terror,” a move that would only heighten tensions further and worsen relations between the US and Russian Federation.

That comment came when Sen. Graham appeared on Fox News Channel’s “The Story” and was asked by the host, Trace Gallagher, about his thoughts on what’s going on in Russia. Specifically, Gallagher said:

“This is escalating, make no doubt. I mean, they are there are people there are young people trying to get out of Russia. You’re trying to get out, so you don’t get enlisted in their military. This thing has escalated. So. Your thoughts on what’s happening?”

  9. Abbott Fires Back at Newest Gun Control Idea, Calls It “Unconstitutional” [WATCH]
    will October 3, 2022 SHARE
The newest Democrat gun control idea is to raise the minimum age for rifle purchases, with Beto O’Rourke arguing in the recent debate between the two gubernatorial contenders that the minimum age for rifle purchases should be increased from 18 to 21.

Governor Abbott, pushing back on the idea and explaining why on practical grounds, noted that other states had tried to do just that and their attempts had been ruled “unconstitutional.” In his words:

“We want to end school shootings, but we cannot do that by making false promises. It’s a false promise to suggest that we can pass a law that will be upheld by the constitution to raise the age, and here’s why: The most recent federal court of appeals decision on this particular issue said that it was unconstitutional for a state to raise the age from 18 to 21 for a person to buy an AR-15. So any attempt to raise the age is going to be overturned.”

  10. the gateway pundit – “Biggest Victory for Patriots in the History of Brazil” Despite MASSIVE Fraud!

[…]Massive irregularities seem to support Jair Bolsonaro’s warnings against Brazil’s purely electronic voting system, which has no paper ballots all all.

Mainstream media had discounted Bolsonaro’s warnings with no evidence ahead of time, comparing them to Donald Trump’s challenge to the 2020 election and even calling them “The Big Lie”, a term coined by Nazi Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels

[…]Voters shared videos that appeared to show a voting machine no longer accepting a vote for Bolsonaro.

Remarkably, Bolsonaro allegedly lost in the state of Minas Gerais, where he began his 2022 election campaign and was almost stabbed to death by an assassin in 2018. In the same state, his candidate for the Chamber of Deputies, Nicolas Ferreira, won by a landslide, by 1,492,047 votes to 238,967 for the socialist opponent André Janones.

[…]Journalist Matthew Tyrmand pointed out the voting machines in Brazil are made by Smartmatic, originally from Venezuela. Smartmatic was headed by Lord Mark Malloch-Brown before he was appointed head of the Open Society Foundations by george Soros in 2021.

  13. For fellow bird-lovers – Sassy, Eeyore, (others?):
Where birds find a restful oasis in urban Tel Aviv

It’s mid-morning and around 20 serious birdwatching enthusiasts are seated in the observatory hide in Tel Aviv’s Rosh Tzipor (Bird’s Head) Park.

A row of binoculars and impressively long camera lenses are aimed at the lake where a white-throated kingfisher is diving for its next meal and a cormorant flies gracefully overhead.

Most of the group have been on the watch since 6am and seem satisfied with the day’s sightings of seven different bird species. In November this will increase dramatically when 500 million birds of at least 150 species from Europe migrate through Israel to Africa.

The foremost aim of the Birdwatching Center in this 32-dunam (8-acre) forest, situated in Ganei Yehoshua Park, was to create a natural habitat for migratory birds so they can rest and get the nutrition they need to gather strength for the next leg of their flight.

Completed in 2018, this area of lush vegetation was until four years ago covered with orange groves that had completely destroyed the natural biosphere.

    Nature dominates
The secret to this ecological regeneration, says manager Liran Kaniel, “is that we concentrated on the needs of the birds and less on the human element. You can see pedestrian footpaths are kept to a minimum so that nature dominates. The three observation hides are discreetly placed so the birds are not disturbed while they feed and rest….”
