Justin Bieber has revealed that he fears struggling to eat after suffering temporary facial paralysis from Ramsay Hunt syndrome just days after being forced to cancel dates on his Justice World Tour and has asked fans to pray for him.
The 28-year-old pop star took to his Instagram on Friday to share a three-minute video explaining the diagnosis which is a complication of shingles that can lead to facial paralysis.
According to the Mayo Clinic, the hearing loss and facial paralysis associated with Ramsay Hunt syndrome is temporary, however, can become permanent.
(Apparently, Ramsay Hunt is like Guillain-Barré syndrome, but much worse with a lower chance of full recovery. Also shingles, what have we heard that has caused shingles to become a really common thing in the last year or so, and more severe than usual. Can’t remember exactly what it was, but for sure, shingles has been out there in media a lot recently for some reason.)
