UPDATE: On Thursday, Montreal public health officials announced two confirmed cases of monkeypox and 17 suspected cases under investigation in the region, including 15 cases on the island of Montreal, one on the South Shore and another on the North Shore.

Health officials in Quebec are investigating more than a dozen cases of suspected monkeypox in Canada, after U.S. and European health officials confirmed rising cases of the rare infectious disease — suggesting a wider outbreak may be happening globally.

Radio-Canada reported Wednesday that Montreal public health officials are investigating at least 13 cases flagged by doctors in the city, following diagnoses made in three clinics specializing in sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections. Laboratory confirmation of the cases is in progress and an announcement is expected in the coming days.

4. Some token resistance in the UK Parliament against the Communist, WHO taking over world health policy.

(No point in BREXIT if they join the Communist WHO treaty. Please watch the video especially for the segment where the Leninist-Marxist Tedros explains explicitly that he wants “global governance”)

5. Pretty much every country in the world is looking to implement digital currency. This is the Corbett Report article on it. We have found that The Corbett Report is always worth the time and effort.

Picking a country not at all at random:

CANADA

This past March, the Bank of Canada (BoC) announced that it had partnered with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to “collaborate on a twelve-month research project on Central Bank Digital Currency.” The project—which the BoC describes as “part of the Bank’s wider research and development agenda on digital currencies and fintech“—will “explore how advanced technologies could affect the potential design of a CBDC.” This will in turn “help inform the Bank of Canada’s research effort into CBDC.”

Thank you all for being a part of this community and to all the new people who joined also.

Its always nice to see the left show a little honesty:

  3. This most excellent video, about 15 minutes, covers the Shanghai lockdowns in the most comprehensive summary I’ve seen yet, from the beginning to the great escape from the city.

    Highly recommended.

As the world races to understand more about rapidly emerging monkeypox outbreaks, the speed in which cases are being discovered signals a major shift in the behaviour of the virus and its ability to spread from person to person unnoticed.

  5. – MONKEYPOX: Travel restrictions, jabs, monitoring close contacts… –

The strategy likely to be recommended is the same one already deployed in Britain. MailOnline last week revealed officials were attempting to contain the spread by vaccinating all close contacts of the 20 confirmed monkeypox cases, including NHS workers.

The strategy, called ring vaccination, involves jabbing and monitoring anyone around an infected person to form a buffer of immune people to limit the disease’s spread.

It comes as experts warn nations could bring in travel restrictions to control the spread of the illness, if the World Health Organization (WHO) declares the outbreak an emergency.
