Reader’s Links for May 16, 2022

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

        • Please refer to Xanthippa Socrates “Bonhoeffer’s Theory of Stupidity before or after watching Justine, the little freak bad actor, World Economic Forum / Canadian Prime Minister/ Idiot

Yeah get vaccinated there are only millions of adverse reactions. Thousands have lost their jobs, their businesses and their lives because of Justine decisions.

George got elected even though he was caught on camera stealing other candidates brochures and leaving his own. He is more than qualified to join the rest of the crooks in Ottawa, however the little liar puppet did not get picked for cabinet.

Talk to your neighbours – – I do and that is how I know about all the vaccine reactions – – the brain bleeds, the cancer deaths, the fatal heart attacks, the shingles, the skyrocketing cases of Bell’sPalsy…………………the number of people who have died because they did not get operated on or never got to see a doctor….

Damn I wished I had not taken a drink of wine just as the Build Back Better little Bastard said “I’ll be honest”.

          • Dr. Jordan Peterson stated “He believes Trudeau is a liar”. Saying “I don’t believe that he ever says a word that’s true from what I have been able to observe, it is all stage acting. He’s crafted a persona he has a particular instrumental goal in mind and everything is subordinated to serve that. The same motivation that is generally typical of people who are narcissistic, which is to be credited with moral virtue in absence of the work necessary to actually attain it”.

M-103 is our hate speech / say nothing about Islam motion, so it is ok to say you loathe Justine.

  1. Trudeau says closing Roxham Road won’t stop asylum seekers. He knows taking guns away from ordinary Canadians won’t stop the Nigerian and Somalian gangs from using their “imported” guns.

Trudeau is about to hand over our health decisions to the WHO. Health departments are under provincial jurisdiction, not federal. I have heard many, many
people speaking about their shingles and Bell’s Palsy, “how it is going around”, but they have not seen anything on the news.

    I will not comply.

  2. Unbelievable ignorance and malice displayed by Govt approved election candidate in Australia, as she tries to get unjabbed candidate kicked out of public debate.

  5. yahoo news –Russia says it will evacuate wounded Ukrainian soldiers from Azovstal

Russia said on Monday that it had agreed to evacuate wounded Ukrainian soldiers from the bunkers below the besieged Azovstal steel works in Mariupol to a medical facility in the Russian-controlled town of Novoazovsk.

“An agreement has been reached on the removal of the wounded,” the Russian defence ministry said in a statement.

“A humanitarian corridor has been opened through which wounded Ukrainian servicemen are being taken to a medical facility in Novoazovsk.”

As Russian forces pummelled Mariupol for nearly two months, some civilians and Ukrainian fighters sought refuge in the Azovstal works – a vast Soviet-era plant founded under Josef Stalin and designed with a labyrinth of bunkers and tunnels to withstand attack.

Most civilians were evacuated from the plant this month after the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross brokered a deal with Russia and Ukraine.

But Ukrainian fighters remain at the plant. Videos and pictures posted online show some of the fighters have serious injuries.

On Sunday, brightly burning white munitions were seen cascading down on the steel works in what a British military expert said looked like an attack with phosphorus or other incendiary weapons.

Relatives appealed on Monday to Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul to help extract the defenders.

Natalia Zaritskaya, wife of a member of the Ukrainian Azov Battalion, told reporters: “The ring around Azovstal has tightened. We can’t delay any further. We pin our last hope and believe that through the joint efforts of Turkey, through its President Erdogan, and China, through its President Xi Jinping, and God himself, it is possible to save Azovstal and the people who are there on the cusp of life and death.

“They are in hell. They receive new wounds every day. They are without legs or arms, exhausted, without medicines.”

  7. ctv news – Conservative leadership candidate Pierre Poilievre denounces ‘white replacement theory’

Pierre Poilievre is denouncing the “white replacement theory” believed to be a motive for a mass shooting in Buffalo, N.Y., as “ugly and disgusting hate-mongering.”

In a statement provided to The Canadian Press, the high-profile contender for the Conservative party leadership condemned the attack, in which police say a white gunman shot up a supermarket in a majority black neighbourhood, killing 10 people and wounding three others.

U.S. law enforcement is investigating the shooter’s online posts, which include the conspiracy theory that there’s a plot to diminish the influence of white people.

Believers say so-called “white replacement” is being achieved both through immigration and demographics, with white people having lower birth rates than other populations, and some claim this has been orchestrated by Jews.

Poilievre was responding to a tweet by fellow leadership contestant Patrick Brown pointing out that Pat King, a leader of the February “Freedom Convoy” that Poilievre and many other Conservative MPs supported, has spread the conspiracy theory online.

Brown called on his rival to “condemn this hate.”

“For Patrick Brown to use this atrocity is sleazy — even for him,”Poilievre said in his statement Monday. “I supported the peaceful and law-abiding truckers who protested for their livelihoods and freedoms while simultaneously condemning any individuals who broke laws, behaved badly or blocked critical infrastructure.

“I also condemn Pat King and his ugly remarks.”

In response to Poilievre’s remarks, a spokesman for Brown accused him of “reluctantly giving a statement when asked, rather than shouting denunciation from every platform you have.”

“Flirting with these dangerous elements does a disservice to the vast majority of Conservative Party members and will cost us the next election if it is allowed to stand,”‘ Chisholm Pothier wrote.

Interim Conservative leader Candice Bergen also issued a statement Monday calling racism repugnant.

“The `white-replacement’ conspiracy theory is peddled by racists and bigots, Conservatives unequivocally condemn this kind of thinking,” she said.

Bergen went on to say that “while Canadians are free to protest and demonstrate, that does not include illegally blocking or occupying infrastructure, nor does it include illegal hate-speech.”

  8. So I have this reoccuring dream. I’m deep in the bush at my cottage at night. Not a neighbor for miles. No moon, pitch black. I have a candle and I’m listening to the short wave radioman. He’s broadcasting over the BBC network. He’s talking about UFOs being sighted all over the Earth. And I’m laughing to myself knowing this is the Man starting a new mass-line effort, or narrative, to freak people out. Again.

Then over the breasted hills beyond the lake comes this enormous cigar-shaped craft. I see it with my own eyes. It bathes the bowl in which my lake sits. The forest and the water and the sky turn orange.

Then I think, what if the fairy tale which we are fed inadvertantly hides a real invasion of extraterrestrials. Now there would be a story for the ages.

  9. Behind the Uptick in Terror Attacks in Israel

A smarter U.S. approach to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict would look at the topography of the Palestinian people rather than falling back on the two-state solution as the answer to everything. According to Palestinian pollster Khalil Shikaki, almost half of Palestinians believe “armed struggle” is the solution to their problems.

Fully 58% oppose a two-state solution; 70% oppose “unconditional return to negotiations with Israel”; almost as many oppose dialogue with the U.S. Most troubling of all, “73% believe the Quran contains a prophecy about the demise of the State of Israel and 32% think the year for this demise is 2022.”

Polling by the Washington Institute for Near East Policy found increased commitment to the return of all “historically Palestinian” lands, and diminished support for a two-state solution.

While support for a new mass uprising was also low (for a variety of reasons, including lack of confidence in Palestinian leadership), there remained an overall commitment to violent means. There is violence because there is incitement to violence. There is unending political encouragement and glorification of killing.

The better choice is to re-engage on the basis of reality, and seek to loosen the grip of crooks, killers and extremists, look to discredit their failed rule, search and support a new and better generation of leaders and help the Palestinian people find a better path.
