Reader’s Links for May 3, 2022

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. Gene Drive Files

Gene Drives are a gene editing application that allows genetic engineers to drive a single artificial trait through an entire population by ensuring that all of an organism’s offspring carry that trait.

Recent experiments are fitting mice with “daughterless” gene drives that will cascade through mouse populations so that only male pups are born, ensuring that the population becomes extinct after a few generations.

Several years ago UN member nations were considering a moratorium on the use of gene drive – – who used his money to squash the moritorium?

Bill and Melinda Foundation will produce people who are in favour of gene drives – – if you kill off mosquitoes- – you kill the source that spreads some viruses, i.e. Zika.

What happens when freaks decide to play with the balance of nature? Frogs eat mosquitoes, as well as flies, dragonflies, bats, spiders, birds – purple martins, cardinals, bluebirds………… take away their food source and eliminate other species.

Or is the Aedes aegypti gene (male only) being used for some other spicies?

What drives some men to arrogance, narcissism , madness?

    • End The Fed

“Following the creation of the Fed, the government would discover other uses for an elastic money supply aside from keeping the banking system from defaulting on its obligations. It would prove useful in funding war. It is no coincidence that the century of total war coincided with the century of central banking. When governments had to fund their own wars without a paper money machine to rely upon, they economize on resources. They found diplomatic solutions to prevent war, and after they started a war they ended it as soon as possible.”

On Tuesday multiple media correspondents reporting from the western Ukrainian city of Lviv said they heard several large blasts in the evening hours.

europravda – How can we expand wind energy in Europe?

The EU has put its oar behind the promise of wind power.

With initiatives like REPowerEU increasing the target for wind-generated electricity, the next decade will hopefully see massive growth in the production of wind farms.

Why is wind power such an important source of renewable energy, how and where will we install these new wind farms, and how can we counter any negative side effects the energy source brings?

Our panelists discussed these questions and more during our Climate Now debate on boosting Europe’s wind sector and meeting EU climate goals.

    Meet our panelists:
    – Morten Helveg Petersen, Member of the European Parliament & Rapporteur on Offshore Renewable Strategy

    – Dr. Samantha Burgess, Deputy Director of the Copernicus Climate Change Service

    – Carlo Zorzoli, Head of Business Development of Enel Green Power

    – Kenneth Thomsen, Head of Wind Turbine Design Division at the Danish Technical University

    – Dr. Hannah Bloomfield, Research Associate of Climate Risk Analytics at the University of Bristol

  8. Jagmeet Singh spews hate about unvaccinated people and now he says without abortion women will die.

Oh well, with abortion, babies die. Some people in India, where he is not allowed, think Khalistanis aren’t Sikhs, they are Islamists under the garb of Sikhism and Singh has close ties with the Muslim Brotherhood.
