1. great little street debate between an actual resident and citizen of France, and the WEF, communist president of France, Macron

2. B.C. spending millions on foreign nurses after firing thousands of healthcare workers

(My headline would have been, “Communist leaders of Canada’s British Columbia replace independent minded and experienced medical staff with foreign and unqualified but obedient personnel. The kicker will be when we discover that the newly hired won’t have to have taken the mRNA shots. And Im pretty confident that will be the case)

After firing thousands of healthcare workers over vaccinate mandates, the British Columbia government has announced it will spend $12 million to fast-track the registration and licensing process for foreign-trained nurses to address critical staffing shortages.

The funding includes $9 million in bursaries to help around 1600 foreign-trained nurses with the costs of assessment fees.

“Our government is committed to addressing the province’s demand for nurses,” said B.C. health minister Adrian Dix on Tuesday. “That’s why we’re launching this comprehensive suite of supports for internationally educated nurses to help them put their skills to use here in B.C.”

The nursing shortage in B.C. – which, as with many provinces, was at crisis levels before the pandemic – was intensified during the fall and winter when vaccine mandates preceded a hospitalization spike over the Omicron variant of COVID-19.

According to Dix, the lack of staff was so acute that one week in January alone saw 27,937 shifts unfilled. The province has continued to follow through with public-sector terminations despite these crippling shortages in healthcare personnel.

3. Totality of California’s Proposed COVID Laws Would be Most Aggressive In the Nation
Taken together, these bills are alarmingly authoritarian

Numerous fast-tracked bills in the California Legislature involve forced COVID-19 vaccinations for children for school enrollment, allowing minor children to make their own vaccine decisions away from a parent, requiring health care staff to complete cultural humility training to provide trans-inclusive health care, and, another would force law enforcement officials to enforce public health orders.

And this is being done with the Legislature waiving the 30-day in print rule so that bills can be acted upon more quickly.

When did the California Legislature become so autocratic?

California legislators formed a “vaccine working group” earlier this year, claiming they want “to facilitate coordinated action and bring thoughtful, comprehensive approach to save lives.”

The members of the Vaccine Work Group include Democrats Senator Dr. Richard Pan, Senator Scott Weiner, Senator Josh Newman, Assemblywoman Akilah Weber, MD, Assemblywoman Buffy Wicks, Assemblywoman Cecilia Aguiar-Curry, and Assemblyman Evan Low.

“Vaccines protect not only individuals but also whole communities when almost everyone is vaccinated at schools, workplaces and businesses, and safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines have already prevented the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans,” said Sen. Richard Pan.

According to the Capitol Resource Institute, these bills are decidedly dangerous:

SB 871 by Sen. Richard Pan (D-Sacramento) – Forced Vaccinations for School Enrollment: would require all school-aged children up to age 17 to get the COVID-19 vaccine(s) to attend school and child care.

4. Supporters of Ukraine in Montreal cannot tell the difference between a piano and a Howitzer.

(Wagner was an actual Nazi and lots of Jewish people still listen to his music. There is no indication that this Russian piano player wants to bomb Ukrainians. In fact that is the precise kind of bigotry the left has always pretended to be against, but of course, has really simply manipulated to achieve power and moral authority)

5. Dr. Steve Kirsch interviews Josh Yoder about the American Airlines pilot who coded minutes after landing commercial passenger jet

Thank you all for your contributions.

I ask you all to continue posting anything of interest that you believe has value and veracity on Russia/Ukraine to the Reader’s links and the dedicated Russia Vs. Ukraine posts when we do them. We are being cautious with the topic as the noise of disinformation seems to drown out and make impossible verification of anything coming from that conflict. This is an interesting example. Is it true? What does it mean if it is?

  1. I recall, in 2017, a foreign husband and wife team…from West Indies..local media reported…..both doctors….denied certification in Saskatchewan and failed the exams for British Columbia five times in six years, but were granted an exemption by Fraser Health to practice medicine anyway……..The damage to numerous patients was significant…the doctors made money….were exposed and disappeared…..Methinks that we can expect more of that now…..with the culling….and the surge….

      • Thanks for the link. I’m aware of Wagner’s nationalist views, but as the article states, Hitler seldom made reference to Wagner, and never in the context of his antisemitism, so I don’t get the ‘Wager was a Nazi’ nonsense. He was German, didn’t like Jews very much, and Hitler liked his music, so that makes him a Nazi, I guess?

        • For the purposes of my point, lets just say that a LOT of people associate Wagner with the Nazis, rightly or wrongly, and either way it has nothing to do with anything.

You can enjoy his music or not independant of that. Which was my point. The Russian pianist should NOT be punished because of an imputed group membership.

In fact your point makes my point more salient. The connection is imputed, not real.

  2. Hitler was born in 1889, Wagner died in 1883. Do the math. Wagner was an antisemite (but the première of his last work Parsifal was conducted by a Jew) and a nationalist, but not a Nazi. This is hindsight. As a man of the 19th century he couldn’t have imagined industrial killing of humans.
