Just for fun: In Sunday, April 3rd’s election in Hungary, Viktor Orban won a sweeping victory. According to one election map sent to me by a Hungarian friend, well here it is:

The following map I am told, is from an election volunteer, who sent it to a friend of mine. The Orange is Orban, and Blue is the opposition:

I am posting this material here, because I want to get ahead of the MSM enemy propaganda media, who inevitably will be claiming that Orban is a dictator, the election was rigged, Viktor is a Nazi and all the other noise they did in the last election. In fact, in the last Hungarian election, the New York Times actually endorsed an actual, bona-fide old school NAZI party against Orban. The Nazi party, AKA Jobbik, actually had a leader who discovered he was Jewish and left the party and became a religious Jew in Israel. At the last election, Jobbik joined up with Turkey. And the Times picked them over Orban because Orban is, you guessed it, anti-communist.

Bloomberg is already waging a dialectic attack:

bloomberg – General Elections in Hungary Race Is Tight

Two of Europe’s strongmen are bidding to keep their grip on power in elections that have put a spotlight on their close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin after his invasion of Ukraine.

Sunday’s vote showed the two camps were neck and neck.

[…]Next door in Serbia, President Aleksandar Vucic is expected to have an easier path to victory, though is unlikely to repeat a landslide of two years ago.

[…]Orban, 58, who returned to power in 2010 and has shaped Hungary into what he calls his “illiberal democracy,” was quick to back the initial round of EU sanctions against Russia and opened the door to Ukrainian refugees. He balked, though, at allowing Hungary to be a conduit for weapons and stopping flows of Russian oil and gas.

After Orban vowed not to let Hungary “become a sacrificial pawn in someone else’s war,” Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiy singled him out in an address to a March 24 EU leaders summit, saying it was time he chose what side he was on.

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

    • Great!
I’m so fed up of the little twit actor showing up on TV on an almost daily basis. And so many people are not questioning what is being shown to them as atrocities. This is one huge propaganda war.

Secret Service is renting $30,000-a-month Malibu mansion to protect Hunter Biden, ABC News reports

Hunter Biden, President Biden’s remaining son, is living in a rented four-bedroom “resort-style” home in Malibu, California, and the nearest property his Secret Service detail could secure was a $30,000-a-month six-bedroom mansion with ocean views and a “castle-like tower to the master retreat with wet bar,” ABC News reports, citing the mansion’s listing and sources familiar with the matter.

That’s “the cost of doing business for the Secret Service,” former agent Don Mihalek told ABC News. “Typically, wherever a protectee sets up their residence, the Secret Service is forced to find someplace to rent nearby at market value,” he added. “The Service has had to do this in past administrations, and unfortunately, the housing market right now has driven the prices.”

[…] “Hunter should recognize the exorbitant cost of his own protection in the exclusive Malibu neighborhood, and cooperate with the Secret Service to bring down the expenses.”

“Hungary’s nationalist Prime Minister Viktor Orban has been congratulated by Russian President Vladimir Putin after he won a fourth term by a landslide in the country’s general election.

His right-wing Fidesz party had 67.8% of votes with almost 99% counted.

The Kremlin says Mr Putin expressed confidence that the two countries could develop further ties “despite the difficult international situation”.”

  6. – The big news today, other than Orban, is ELON MUSK and Twitter –

Billionaire Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk asked Twitter “What should be done?” in the fight to defend free speech from Big Tech censorship and suppression.

A hint of his answer was revealed on Monday when it was reported that Elon Musk had purchased a 9.2% stake in Twitter worth nearly $3 billion. The details were provided by CNBC on Monday morning:

Musk owns 73,486,938 shares of Twitter, which represents a 9.2% passive stake in the company, according to the Securities and Exchange Commission 13G filing released Monday.
The stake is worth $2.89 billion, based Twitter’s closing price on Friday.
The Musk buy comes less than two weeks after Musk criticized the company, polling people on Twitter about whether Twitter adheres to free speech principles.

CNBC’s business analysts believe that Musk’s move to buy the stake could lead to an eventual buyout, because “investors were bidding shares higher on the chance this could lead to something more.” Twitter shares had already surged more than 25% in the premarket — a sign that Musk’s buying of a stake inspired confidence in users and investors.

“Musk could try to take a more aggressive stance here on Twitter,” Wedbush analyst Dan Ives said Monday told CNBC. “This eventually could lead to some sort of buyout.”

“This makes sense given what Musk has at least been talking about, at least from a social media perspective,” Ives said.

Elon Musk is now the social media giant’s largest stakeholder, according to the Financial Times. Musk’s action took place weeks after asking Twitter users about the state of the social media platform.

  8. DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Another 15,0000 chickens and 37,000 turkeys will have to be killed after bird flu spread to two more Iowa farms, state agriculture officials announced Sunday.

Since the outbreak began a month ago, millions of fowl have been killed, many of them in Iowa, which is the nation’s leading egg producer. The latest cases were at a commercial turkey flock in Sac County and in a flock of commercial breeding chickens in Humboldt County,

Because the virus is so infectious and deadly for commercial poultry, entire flocks are destroyed and composted on the farms when they are infected.

Note: Infection was detected by the same flawed PCR tests whose high false positive readings have driven the pandemic restrictions. Price of beef has already skyrocketed, now chicken and turkey… In the UK, because of fear of the avian flu, no chickens may be permitted outdoors, even part time. How can they not realize we know exactly what they are doing? Or is it already so late that we cannot stop it, so they don’t care that we get it?

  9. Jenin Younes of the New Civil Liberties Alliance has spearheaded legal action against the federal government on first (and fourth) amendment grounds. The complaint is above, and here is their summary. Our preliminary injunction request.

The litigants are Daniel Kotzin, Michael Senger, and myself. (I only ended up named first in the lawsuit because I live in Ohio, and they (for some reason) used the Ohio federal court.)

I talk about the case here in Moment 159 of my series.

  10. Lebanon as a state and its central bank have gone bankrupt, according to Deputy Prime Minister Saadeh al-Shami.

“The state has gone bankrupt as did the Banque du Liban, and the loss has occurred, and we will seek to reduce losses for the people,” Al-Shami told the local Al-Jadeed channel.

He said the losses will be distributed among the state, the Banque du Liban, banks and depositors.

“There is no conflict of views about the distribution of losses,” he added.

Since late 2019, Lebanon has been grappling with a severe economic crisis, including a massive currency depreciation as well as fuel and medical shortages.

The Lebanese currency has lost 90% of its value, eroding people’s ability to access basic goods, including food, water, healthcare, and education, while widespread power outages are common due to fuel shortages.

Al-Shami said the country’s situation “cannot be ignored” hence bank withdrawals cannot be open to all people.

“I wish we were in a normal situation,” he added.

  11. A new poll found that more Americans want to see President Joe Biden out of the White House than want Russian strongman Vladimir Putin out of power.

Sixty-two percent of respondents to the survey, conducted by the Democracy Institute for Britain’s The Express, said they do not think Biden will be re-elected in 2024.

And many do not want to wait that long.

When respondents were asked which would be better for the United States, 52 percent chose “Biden loses power in the US” compared with 43 percent who picked “Putin loses power in Russia.”

The poll found that 57 percent disapprove of the Biden presidency and 70 percent believe the United States is “heading in the wrong direction.”

RNC chair cries ‘blatant censorship’ after YouTube removes podcast with Trump over ‘misinformation’

Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel announced Saturday that YouTube had removed her interview with former President Donald Trump, calling the “chilling” move “blatant censorship” that she believes could affect “any citizen who they view as stepping out of line.”

McDaniel had conducted the interview with Trump for her “Real America” podcast geared toward showing “how Republican policies are working,” and sharing the “great stories of conservative leadership” that mainstream media avoids. The March 8 discussion with the president covered a wide range of topics that included the economy and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

However, the fact that the conversation mentioned concerns about the 2020 election was evidently too much for YouTube which decided to remove the video for violating “election integrity policy, which prohibits content that advances false claims that widespread fraud changed the outcome of the 2020 U.S. presidential election, such as claiming that the election was rigged,” the Washington Times reported.

  13. Orban’s victory map is quite impressive. That’s what happens when you don’t take in incompatible migration.

I was reading earlier re the Texas Primaries’ election 2022 poll that Beto O’Rourke is at par with Greg Abbott in voting intentions. Many Democrats have moved to Red Texas because of crime issues in their states. And now we see how they import their ideologies with them also.

Here’s a FUN STORY: Remember Oberlin College and the bakery shop? The college BLM students bashed the bakers as racists and the college admin joined in and made matters worse for the poor innocent bakers.

Today: a massive multi-million dollar victory for the now-deceased bakers (Civil Court and Appeals’ Court). The college appealed the original verdict in favor of the bakers. Too bad they can’t enjoy it.
