  2. Donetsk is where Mr. Sharansky was born. It was called Stalino back then. “Putino” wouldn’t sound right. Just flat-out, obscene.

  3. That young german-russian lady is absolutely spot on. As for Sharansky, he’s loyal to his own newly found country and serves its interests. No one is talking about renaming to Stalino or Putino. It’ll stay Donbass, that name is just fine.
