2. Yes we posted this before, but it should be posted every day frankly.

3. Ukraine lied about Russian attack on nuclear facility

(Having read a little on this issue earlier today, it does seem like the media was trying to generate tons of fear with untruths about this. The Russians never hit the reactor. They never even fired on it. One missile that is alleged to have landed in the area is of unknown origin. I’m NOT pro Russia on this, I don’t know enough. But I am anti-lie and anti globalist and it sure looks to me like the Russia Ukraine issue is just another LoE (Line of Effort) to destroy what the vast bulk of us think of as a democracy)

4. Russian Embassy: ‘America is Filling Ukraine with Biolabs’

“The US Embassy in Ukraine has just deleted from its website all documents about 11 Pentagon-funded biolaboratories in Ukraine.” – journalist Dilyana Gaytandzhieva

On Sunday, the Russian embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina stated that the Americans are “lying” because there is no invasion of Ukraine taking place, reports news channel N1.

“As usual, Americans are lying. Because there is no ‘invasion.’ Instead, there is a special military operation to demilitarize and denazify the Ukrainian regime. Demilitarization – because it was the United States that was behind the pumping of the criminal gang with weapons, which barbarically destroyed the civilian population of Donetsk and Lugansk, including children,”  the Russian embassy said in a Facebook post

Genetic Level

“Denazification – because the United States was the one that encouraged the neo-Nazi tactics and strategy of the Banderas from Kiev by essentially preventing Ukraine, as a party to the Minsk Agreement, from fulfilling its obligations,” reported the embassy.

The Russian embassy also accused the U.S. of ‘stocking Ukraine with Biolabs.’ It is ‘very likely that research is being done on how Russians can be ‘destroyed at a genetic level,’ claims the Russians.

  3. zero hedge – BBC Pulls All Reporters From Russia After Moscow Criminalizes “Disinformation”

Update (1125ET): Following earlier news that Russia will criminalize “disinformation” about military in crackdown on “fake information”, not that different from the wholesale “canceling” and deplatforming of any western media outlets that do not parrot the official narrative, moments ago the BBC announced that it would “temporarily suspend the work of all BBC News journalists and their support staff within the Russian Federation” while the news agency assesses the full implications of this unwelcome development.

Full Statement from Tim Davie, BBC Director-General:

“This legislation appears to criminalise the process of independent journalism. It leaves us no other option than to temporarily suspend the work of all BBC News journalists and their support staff within the Russian Federation while we assess the full implications of this unwelcome development.

“Our BBC News service in Russian will continue to operate from outside Russia.

“The safety of our staff is paramount and we are not prepared to expose them to the risk of criminal prosecution simply for doing their jobs. I’d like to pay tribute to all of them, for their bravery, determination and professionalism.

“We remain committed to making accurate, independent information available to audiences around the world, including the millions of Russians who use our news services. Our journalists in Ukraine and around the world will continue to report on the invasion of Ukraine.”

    • U.S. accuses Russia of “war crime” with power plant attack as NATO warns Putin’s onslaught to get worse

The war in Ukraine took a perilous turn on Friday as Russian President Vladimir Putin’s forces were accused of shelling a huge nuclear power plant before taking control of the facility. Ukraine’s nuclear energy agency said a fire sparked by Russian shelling of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, about 400 miles southeast of Kyiv, was extinguished with no risk of radiation leaks.

Russia blamed Ukraine for the fire, calling it a “monstrous provocation,” but the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv accused Putin of “a war crime” with what it said was the “shelling of Europe’s largest nuclear plant.”

Putin’s brutal invasion entered its ninth day with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accusing him of “nuclear terror” and officials in the northeast city of Chernihiv reporting dozens of civilian deaths from indiscriminate Russian shelling.

  8. DAILY MAIL – Putin is NOT crazy and the Russian invasion is NOT failing. The West’s delusions about this war – and its failure to understand the enemy – will prevent it from saving Ukraine, writes military analyst BILL ROGGIO

Wishful thinking has the upper hand in the battle to shape Western perceptions of the war in Ukraine.

Sympathy for the outnumbered and outgunned defenders of Kyiv has led to the exaggeration of Russian setbacks, misunderstanding of Russian strategy, and even baseless claims from amateur psychoanalysts that Putin has lost his mind.

A more sober analysis shows that Russia may have sought a knockout blow, but always had well-laid plans for follow-on assaults if its initial moves proved insufficient.

The world has underestimated Putin before and those mistakes have led, in part, to this tragedy in Ukraine.

We must be clear-eyed now that the war is underway.

Yet even the professionals at the Pentagon are letting sympathy cloud their judgement.

Just two days into Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, U.S. Department of Defense briefers were quick to claim that failing to take Kyiv in the opening days of the war amounted to a serious setback.

DoD briefers implied that Russia’s offensive was well behind schedule or had even failed because the capital had not fallen.

But U.S. leaders should have learned to restrain their hopes after their catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Once again, U.S. and Western officials are falling into the trap of failing to understand the enemy and his objectives.

Allegedly, Putin believed that the Ukrainian government would collapse once Russian troops crossed the frontier and pushed to Kyiv, and that the operation has failed because the Ukrainian government remains in place.

Putin certainly hoped for a swift victory, but he clearly was not relying on his opening salvo as the only plan for success.

Rather, the Russian military was prepared to take the country by force if a swift decapitation strike fell short.

This kind of plan should be familiar to Americans who remember the 2003 invasion of Iraq.

In the first hours of the war, the U.S. Air Force launched its ‘shock and awe’ campaign in an attempt to kill Saddam Hussein and other key leaders and bring down the government. Saddam survived, but the U.S. military was fully prepared to follow up with a ground assault.

A look at the Russian military offensive demonstrates there was a plan for a full-scale invasion, which Russia is now executing.

Conventional, mechanized warfare is a time and resource consuming enterprise, and an operation of this scope isn’t cobbled together in days.

The Russian offensive is taking place on four separate fronts. On a fifth front, in eastern Ukraine, which Putin declared independent last week, Russian forces are tying down Ukrainian troops that are needed elsewhere.

The bulk of the Russian forces are advancing southward from Belarus to Kyiv.

Russian advance forces, including air, mobile and reconnaissance troops, have been engaged with Ukrainian troops outside of Kyiv since the start of the war.

A massive column of Russian troops, estimated at over 40 miles long, is just 20 miles north of Kyiv, and is likely assembling to surround the capital.

If Russian forces can take Kyiv and push southward to link up with forces on the Crimean front, thus splitting Ukraine in two, it would be a major blow to the Zelensky government.

What matters more than a handful of setbacks is that Russian forces have pushed 70 miles into contested terrain in less than a week and are on the outskirts of the capital.

This is not a sign of a disorganized, poorly assembled, and failed offensive.

The southward push from Belarus to Kyiv is supported by another Russian column, launched from the east in the vicinity of Kursk.

If this column can link up with Russian troops near Kyiv, it will envelop Ukrainian forces in most of Chernihiv and Sumy provinces, depriving the Ukrainian military of much needed soldiers and war material needed elsewhere, and cutting off the government from two northern provinces.

Further east, Russian forces have launched a broad offensive aimed at Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city, which is now under siege.

In the south, Russian forces, supported by amphibious assaults from the Sea of Azov, have poured into Ukraine from Crimea.

On this front, Russian forces have branched out along two main axes, one northwest along the Pivdennyi Buh River, and another northeast along the coast and inland towards the Donbas region, which Russia declared independent shortly before the invasion.

If Russian columns from either southern front can link up with forces further north, they would cut off many Ukrainian troops from reinforcement—one of the two columns has already advanced roughly 160 miles.

Russian generals have often chosen to bypass towns and cities that are putting up stiff opposition and isolating them to deal with later.

There are reports that Russian forces have escalated attacks on civilians, particularly in Kharkiv.

At the moment, the artillery and rocket attacks there have been limited, perhaps to send a message to the citizens as a warning of what may come.

Putin appears to want to take Ukraine intact, but will not hesitate to increase the level of brutality if needed.

The systematic nature of the Russian assault is at odds with speculation that Putin has lost control of his senses.

Nobody knows for sure, but Putin’s actions appear to be that of a cold and calculating adversary.

Dismissing his decision to invade Ukraine as a form of madness is effectively an excuse to ignore Putin’s likely motivations and future actions.

Strategically, Putin’s advance on Ukraine began well over a decade ago, when he invaded and Balkanized Georgia by recognizing the Kremlin’s puppet regimes in the regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

In 2014, Putin occupied and annexed the strategic Ukrainian region of Crimea, which served as a launchpad for the current invasion.

Putin paid little price for either action.

The United States and Europe imposed limited sanctions but continued to engage with him on the Iranian nuclear deal and other top issues.

Today, Putin has calculated that taking Ukraine by force is in his and Russia’s interest.

He no doubt anticipated that the West would impose diplomatic and economic sanctions, which U.S. and European leaders threatened beforehand.

Putin may have miscalculated Ukrainian resistance and the intensity of the West’s opposition, but it doesn’t mean he is crazy, or didn’t consider the possibilities and chose to invade regardless.

It remains to be seen if Putin’s plan will succeed or fail, but what is clear is that there was a plan to invade Ukraine in force, and that plan has been executed since day one.

Ukrainian troops are putting up a valiant fight facing long odds and difficult conditions. Russia holds most if not all of the advantages.

It can, and has, attacked Ukraine from three different directions. The Russian military holds a decided advantage in manpower, as well as air, naval and armor superiority.

It has vast resources to draw on. While Ukraine has the support of much of the international community, which is providing weapons, Ukraine is fighting alone.

Believing Russia’s assault is going poorly may make us feel better but is at odds with the facts.

We cannot help Ukraine if we cannot be honest about its predicament.

  9. VICE News – How Ukraine President Zelenskyy Became an Unlikely Internet Sex Symbol

Experts explain why people are drawn to sexualising political leaders, even – and especially – in times of crisis.

After weeks of tension on the border of Ukraine, the Russian army has invaded the country, resulting in horrifying scenes of murdered civilians and bombed-out residential neighbourhoods. Hundreds of thousands have already fled the country. According to Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy, there has been an assassination attempt on his life, while Russian president Vladimir Putin has already put his nuclear forces on high alert.

Yet one unexpected phenomenon in this terrifying news cycle has been what can only be described as the creation of a Zelenskyy stan base. People on the internet have confessed to having a crush on him, calling him “sexy”, a “daddy”; even a “zaddy”. One person even claimed that they got “pregnant just [by] watching him”.

Some have described these statements as distasteful: “The yassification of armed conflict”, writes one person on the emerging phenomenon. “I am begging liberals to stop treating an actual war like a tv show with fun characters,” tweets another.

Emma Salisbury, who wrote the viral tweet “BREAKING: every woman in your life now has at least a small crush on Volodymyr Zelenskyy and there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it”, says she was originally being tongue-in-cheek. “I think it’s that he could have easily left the country and commanded from safety elsewhere,” she tells VICE, “but he chose to stay and fight with his people for their home – bravery and heroism.”

Salisbury would like to clarify that she doesn’t actually have a crush on him, but she admires and respects him greatly nonetheless. “It’s such an awful situation there, and seeing the footage from the ground is heartbreaking, so I’m glad they have someone like him to lead them.”

Mistress Kye, a podcast host and kink educator who posted a photo of the now-famous Zelenskyy quote “I need ammunition, not a ride!” with the caption “BadAssery [sic] is sexy AF”, thinks the Ukrainian president’s appeal comes down to his personal qualities. “In Philadelphia, we are known for our grit,” she says. “I respect and respond to grit because it’s comprised of strength, loyalty, fortitude and heart. Grit is sexy. Zelensky has grit.”

Another Zelenskyy fan is Javier Morillo, a 52-year-old from Minnesota in the United States who tweeted: “The z in Zelensky is for zaddy.” He explains that it’s been refreshing to see a politician stand up to an act of authoritarianism, but also behave in a way that politicians aren’t expected to behave. “He seems like a normal guy and is very accessible,” Javier says. “I don’t long for heroes but it’s a beautiful thing to see that Ukrainians are rallying around him. I’ve not experienced [something like] that in my lifetime.”

Zelenskyy’s relative youth compared to other heads of state – he is 44, which makes him 35 years younger than Joe Biden – and his rugged looks may put him at an advantage over other politicians, but it’s clear that these qualities have little to do with his new fandom. It’s doubtful that people would be Photoshopping him into Captain America memes if he was leader-in-exile in neighbouring Poland.

Instead, it’s his perceived bravery and strength that appear to have resonated with people the most. His meteoric rise to broader consciousness is, in many ways, completely understandable. It’s hard to imagine another world leader – like, say, Boris Johnson – shooting a video of himself during an invasion in which he strolls around the capital and tells people he’s not going anywhere.

This kind of romanticisation or sexualisation of a political figure isn’t anything new though – you only have to look back on the 2015 articles proclaiming a newly elected Canadian PM Justin Trudeau “the sexiest leader in the world” or the one-time phenomenon of “Cuomosexuals” stanning now-disgraced New York governor Andrew Cuomo to know that politician thirst has a long and lurid history.

But it goes even further back than that, according to experts. “War or conflict and sex or sexualisation have always been yoked together and have always had a pretty intimate close relationship in Western cultural representation, which goes all the way back to ancient Greece and the Odyssey,” says Dr Kieran Andrieu, a doctor of political economy and an associate lecturer at Birkbeck University.

“You could go right the way back to Alexander the Great, Genghis Khan, Julius Caesar, all the way up to men who by most historical accounts aren’t pretty attractive like Napoleon, at least in his later years.” (Sorry, Bonaparte.)

Dr Jaspreet Tehara, an NHS counselling psychologist, puts part of the Zelenskyy thirst down to a phenomenon that psychotherapists call transference. Though more typically used to describe the redirection of a patient’s feelings onto their therapist, it can also apply to public figures. Politicians like Zelenskyy become vehicles for our own desires “in the absence of knowing them in any real sense,” he explains.

“We start to construct narratives around who they are, based on who they remind us of and who we are accustomed to,” Dr Tehara adds. “If there is an alignment between who we think they are and how they act, we fall into confirmation biases, and it reaffirms our positions on who we believe them to be. That can be incredibly seductive, on occasion.”

Zelenskyy – with a years-long career in entertainment and TV prior to his election – has more raw material for these fantasies than your average politician. Want cuddly Zelenskyy? Look up his voiceover for the Paddington Bear film. Inspirational Zelenskyy? Listen to any one of his defiant wartime speeches. Hip-shaking Zelenskyy? Check out his moves on the Ukrainian version of Dancing with the Stars. Oh, and if you are so inclined, there’s even topless Zelenskyy getting the vaccine. Even the story of his most popular TV show, Servant of the People, in which he played an ordinary man who becomes president – a fictional role he literally brought to life when he was elected in a 2019 landslide – serves to cement his myth.

Dr Andrieu thinks our attraction to political figures has to do with power and its pull on our hearts and minds, particularly in times of crisis. “Historically when there are disruptions in the social order, within a few decades, predominantly, a strong man will fill that void,” he explains. “I think we might find it uncomfortable, but perhaps the ‘yassification’ of Zelenskyy conceptualises that.”

And conflict is not just fought on the battlefield. Zelenskyy’s soaring reputation as the president who stayed behind in his country has also been a useful weapon in Ukraine’s own propaganda war against Russia. It counteracts Russian misinformation and disinformation, rallies support on the ground and around the world, and helps to justify the conscription of Ukrainian men aged 18-60, who have been banned from leaving the country. “It’s definitely leant international dimensions to the resistance in Ukraine,” Andrieu says. “It’s meant that he’s been able to coalesce support and this has had serious and palpable material effects on the situation.”

The downside, of course, is when lust starts clouding people’s political judgement or discernment, particularly in times of conflict. That might mean throwing your lot in with a public figure whose policies might otherwise repel you. “We only have to look at human history to understand that those we deem attractive or aesthetically pleasing at the time are some of the ones we look to follow or fight wars for,” Tehara says.

War and sex might feel like they’re on different sides of the spectrum, but Tehara says our brains might actually respond in similar ways. “An evolutionary trauma response lens would suggest so – we’re in a state of threat, so we do the things that we need to do in order to survive that threat.”

“Times of war are an extremely horny time, because we’re looking at death and destruction vs. life and survival. That’s a rather reductive equation – but I think it mostly holds true.”

‘Hottest, sexiest, bravest man in the world’: Zelensky an instant sex symbol

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been dubbed the ‘sexiest man in the world’ after he shared a selfie video clip on Facebook!

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has become an instant sex symbol after he shared a clip of himself rallying his troops against Russian troops on his Facebook page. Screenshots of the president dressed in his combat attire have been shared millions of times as women – and men – gush over his boyish looks, which in the video, is coupled with courage and sheer bravery.

One thing that was not expected from the Russia invasion of Ukraine was for President Zelensky to become a sex symbol. The president has gone viral on social media as people from all over the world gush over his good looks and “lionheart.”

Zelensky first became popular online after sharing a Facebook video of himself rallying Ukrainian troops ahead of a battle with Russian forces.

In the video, a fearless Zelensky can be heard saying:

“We are all here, defending our independence, our country. And it will stay that way.”

It appears that this was enough to spark millions of tweets from men and women who couldn’t help but swoon over the president who has chosen to fight among his troops and not spent his time in an office.

IOL reports that before becoming president, the 44-year-old Zelensky was a comedian and actor – so it really isn’t hard to imagine why people are such big fans.

Clips from his past life have also begun circulating on social media. In one of them, he wins Ukraine’s first season of Dancing With the Stars while another shows him voicing Paddington Bear for the local cuts of the movies.

    MEANWHILE, COMPLIMENTS ARE ROLLING IN
