The CPC could have and should have capitalized on the PM erroneous use of the Emergency Act but with a leader like O’Toole it was never going to happen. The physical use of force to squash the protests in Ottawa and elsewhere, setting up false flag gun seizures by the Grey Shirts just goes to show how draconian this country has become.
