4. South African doctor who discovered Omicron variant SLAMS pressure from countries to make the virus sound worse than it actually is

The South African doctor who discovered the Omicron strain has revealed she was ‘pressured’ into describing the variant as more dangerous than it really is.

Dr Angelique Coetzee was one of the first to report the new variant in November last year and said it caused ‘mild’ symptoms for those in her country.

But she claims she was told by scientists and politicians from around the globe that her description was wrong.

‘Because of all of Covid’s mutations, all of these scientists and politicians who aren’t from South Africa were contacting me telling me I was wrong when I spoke out, that it was a serious disease … they were telling me I had no idea what I was talking about, they kept attacking me,’ Dr Coetzee told The Daily Telegraph.

(Oh boy she committed AN BLASPHEMY! “Even if unvaccinated you will get mild disease”! She had better call Lloyds of London at this point.)

Thank you all for your continued vigilance and willingness to deploy intellectual radar to penetrate the fog of war as it is now all over in Canada.

  1. New Zealand police make arrests as anti-vaccine mandate protests enter 3rd day

New Zealand police cracked down Thursday on anti-vaccine mandate protests taking place outside the country’s parliament in Wellington as the demonstrations entered their third day.

According to reports, more than 50 were arrested with police forcibly removing hundreds of demonstrators who have camped outside the parliament buildings for the last three days. The protests were inspired by the trucker protests in Canada, which have entered their 14th day.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said every New Zealander has the right to protest, “but there are also rules around what is able to happen on parliament’s forecourt.”

“We would expect that people have behaviours that don’t disrupt the ability of others to go on with their lives, as well,” she said in Auckland on Thursday.

  2. Just an FYI–the fuel that was ordered to be returned to the truckers in Ottawa was apparently contaminated with water by the police. Fortunately they had someone testing it or it could have destroyed the engines on a lot of trucks.

    • WOW!

Can you get a link or video or something that shows they did this? Its a hell of a thing if its true. It also means moving the trucks would be very difficult.

  5. CNN – Paris and Brussels ban protests linked to French ‘Freedom Convoy’

Paris (CNN)Authorities in both Paris and Brussels have announced a ban on protests linked to the so-called “Freedom Convoy” that is scheduled to arrive in the French capital from Friday.

Following the “Freedom Convoy” in Canada — which has seen truckers protesting against vaccine mandates, Covid-19 restrictions and the Liberal government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau — demonstrators in France have launched a similar initiative against the country’s vaccine pass, according to CNN affiliate BFMTV.

A map from the French convoy organizers shows protesters coming from across the country along five main routes toward the city. It also highlights the demonstrators’ plans to then drive north to Brussels, Belgium’s capital. The convoys are due to reach Paris between February 11 and 14.

On Thursday, Paris police announced restrictions on protests in the city from Friday to Monday, “due to the risk of public order offenses which could stem from this gathering.” The convoys had the objective of “blocking off the capital.”

FRANCE PRAVDA – Paris police say they will prevent French ‘freedom convoy’ from entering the capital

French “freedom convoy” motorists protesting against COVID-19 restrictions will be blocked from entering Paris, the French capital’s police authority said on Thursday.

Departures are expected from more cities across France on Thursday.

The Paris prefecture said the protesters would be prohibited from entering the capital from Feb. 11-14, citing the risk of public disorder.

In Canada, horn-blaring demonstrations demanding an end to Canadian COVID-19 vaccine mandates for cross-border truck drivers are now spilling over to key Canada United States border crossings.

Copycat protests have also sprung up in Australia and New Zealand. Protesters waved the Canadian flag as France’s “freedom convoy” got underway.

Motorists who violated the order not to protest within Paris risked two years in prison, a 4,500 euro fine and suspended driver’s license, the prefecture cautioned.

ctv news – Ontario court freezes access to donations for truckers’ protest from GiveSendGo

OTTAWA — The Ontario government says it has successfully petitioned a court to freeze access to millions of dollars donated through online fundraising platform GiveSendGo to the truckers convoy protesting COVID-19 restrictions in Ottawa and at several border crossings.

A spokeswoman for Premier Doug Ford says Ontario’s attorney general brought the application to the Superior Court of Justice seeking an order that would prohibit anyone from distributing donations made through the website’s “Freedom Convoy 2022” and “Adopt-a-Trucker” campaign pages.

Spokeswoman Ivana Yelich says an order binding “any and all parties with possession or control over these donations” was issued today.

Hundreds of semi-trucks rolled into downtown Ottawa two weeks ago to protest COVID-19 vaccine mandates and health restrictions and now trucks are also blockading border crossings in Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario.

Donors initially raised more than $10 million through GoFundMe, which announced last Friday it was pulling the plug on the campaign and that the money would be refunded.

Convoy organizers quickly set up a new campaign on Christian fundraising site GiveSendGo, which had raised US$8.2 million by today.
