Reader’s Links for October 23, 2021

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. Bipartisan legislators demand answers from Fauci on ‘cruel’ puppy experiments

“Our investigators show that Fauci’s NIH division shipped part of a $375,800 grant to a lab in Tunisia to drug beagles and lock their heads in mesh cages filled with hungry sand flies so that the insects could eat them alive,” White Coat Waste said.

Defense Department Pulls a Bait and Switch on Vaccines
If a soldier goes to a military hospital or a private provider to receive an approved Pfizer COVID vaccine, he will be administered the unapproved Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. Coerced, it’s illegal.
    By Benjamin Braddock
    October 19, 2021

On August 24, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin issued a memo to senior Pentagon leadership announcing that he was implementing a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all military service members. The day before, the FDA had issued full authorization to Pfizer for their Comirnaty COVID-19 vaccine product (the nomenclature of which is meant to be a mashup of the words “COVID”, “mRNA”, and “community”) . At first glance it would seem that the mandatory vaccination policy, while scientifically unsound and strategically foolish, was at least a policy being implemented according to both the letter of the directive and in accordance with the law. But a further examination of the facts and the manner in which this order is being implemented makes clear that the military’s implementation of this order is illegal and highly unethical.

In the memo, Secretary Austin issued a directive and a promise, that “Mandatory vaccination against COVID-19 will only use COVID-19 vaccines that receive full licensure from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), in accordance with FDA-approved labeling and guidance.” The problem with this is that the Comirnaty vaccine product that was approved by the FDA is not available anywhere in the Military Health System. It is not even in production, according to the military’s TRICARE healthcare providers. If a soldier goes to a military hospital or a private provider to receive an approved Pfizer COVID vaccine, he will be administered the unapproved Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine which is a vaccine that is not approved but has been administered under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). We are told that this is but a brand name difference, that the formulation is the same, and they can be used interchangeably. But as the FDA was approving the Comirnaty product, they were renewing the authorization for the Pfizer-BioNTech product. If it’s just a matter of brand name, why issue an approval for one brand name and an EUA renewal for the other? This is because they are not actually the same.

According to the formulation comparison sheet, the Comirnaty vaccine product has a very different formulation than the Pfizer BioNTech product—on a per 30 ?g dose basis for instance, it contains 25 percent more SARS-CoV-2 spike glycoprotein mRNA, 34 percent more polyethylene glycol, 1070 percent more potassium chloride, as well as an ingredient listed only as “Redacted Ingredient.” That last item is alarming. Informed consent is required by both federal and international law under the Nuremberg Code. It is impossible to give informed consent to receive a medical ingredient that is shrouded in secrecy behind a redacted label.

There is a difference between Pfizer’s BioNTech and Comirnaty products that may even be more profound: the legal one. According to the FDA’s own vaccine fact sheet for the two Pfizer vaccines, “The products are legally distinct . . .”.

  4. SYRIA – Hundreds of Syrians Protest against Turkey’s Signal for New Military Campaign

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Hundreds of people marched through the streets of Tal Rifaat village in Syria’s northern Aleppo province to protest against a possible Turkish military campaign on Syrian soil.

Carrying Syrian flags and pictures of President Bashar al-Assad, the protesters marched on the streets of Tal Rifaat, as the Kurdish town could become the focal point of Turkey’s new threatened military operation.

The residents of neighboring towns and villages also took part in the protest and called for an end to the illegitimate presence of Turkish forces as well as the militants supported by the country on Syrian soil, and urging them to stop their crimes against Syrian people, SANA reported.

Participants in the gathering expressed their adherence to the Syrian territorial integrity and preparedness for confronting any attempts by Turkey to divide any part of the Syrian geography.
They also stressed their confidence in the ability of the Syrian Arab Army to confront any aggression.

On October 11, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Ankara had ‘run out of patience’ after two Turkish officers were killed in attacks allegedly carried out by the Kurdish militant group People’s Defense Units (YPG) in Marea, which lies north of Tal Rifaat.

  6. Erdogan orders removal of 10 ambassadors, including US envoy
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has ordered 10 foreign ambassadors who called for the release of a jailed philanthropist to be declared persona non grata
    https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/erdogan-orders-removal-10-ambassadors-including-us-envoy-80745603
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Saturday that he had ordered 10 foreign ambassadors who called for the release of a jailed philanthropist to be declared persona non grata.
The envoys, including the U.S., French and German representatives in Ankara, issued a statement earlier this week calling for a resolution to the case of Osman Kavala, a businessman and philanthropist held in prison since 2017 despite not having been convicted of a crime.
Describing the statement as an “impudence,” Erdogan said he had ordered the ambassadors be declared undesirable.
“I gave the instruction to our foreign minister and said ‘You will immediately handle the persona non grata declaration of these 10 ambassadors,’” Erdogan said during a rally in the western city of Eskisehir.
He added: “They will recognize, understand and know Turkey. The day they don’t know or understand Turkey, they will leave.”
The diplomats, who also include the ambassadors of the Netherlands, Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and New Zealand, were summoned to the foreign ministry on Tuesday.
A declaration of persona non grata against a diplomat usually means that individual is banned from remaining in their host country.
Kavala, 64, was acquitted last year of charges linked to nationwide anti-government protests in 2013, but the ruling was overturned and joined to charges relating to a 2016 coup attempt.
International observers and human rights groups have repeatedly called for the release of Kavala and Kurdish politician Selahattin Demirtas, who has been jailed since 2016. They say their imprisonment is based on political considerations. Ankara denies the claims and insists on the independence of Turkish courts.
The European Court of Human Rights called for Kavala’s release in 2019, saying his incarceration acted to silence him and wasn’t supported by evidence of an offense. The Council of Europe says it will start infringement proceedings again Turkey at the end of November if Kavala is not released.
The current U.S. ambassador, David Satterfield, was appointed in 2019. The nomination of his replacement, Jeff Flake, was approved by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Tuesday.

  7. Iran: Provincial governor slapped during inauguration speech

Brigadier General Abedin Khorram, the new governor of Eastern Azerbaijan province and former Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Commander found himself in a peculiar spot on Saturday as an angry man slapped him during his inauguration on Saturday.

Khorram was later approached by present officials and clerics and consoled. Attendees also chanted in his support after the incident, which is an unusual breach of security in the Islamic Republic of Iran during a ceremony attended by the country’s interior minister.
“I did not know the person who disrespected me. Unfortunately, he did something that disrupted the order of our meeting. Well, I have given up my right in this regard and I will be stronger in my work,” said Khorram after the attack.
The motive for the attack in Iran’s Eastern Azerbaijan province has remained unclear. It targeted, however, a new provincial governor who once served in the country’s IRGC and had been kidnapped at one point by militants in Syria.

SOT, Brigadier General Abedin Khorram, New governor of Eastern Azerbaijan province and former IRGC Commander (Farsi): “Today, during the [inauguration] ceremony of honouring and introducing the governor of Eastern Azerbaijan, something happened that upset everyone. Well, I did not know the person who disrespected me. Unfortunately, he did something that disrupted the order of our meeting. Well, I have given up my right in this regard and I will be stronger in my work. I will try hard in order to continue [my work based on] the orders, guidelines, and duties that I have in a people-oriented and justice-oriented government, Allah willing.”
