Reader’s Links for September 5, 2021

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

New Text Messages Reveal 2nd Battalion 1st Marines Were Given “a Countdown” Before Kabul Airport Bombing – It Started About Two Hours Out – They Are Now Being Silenced
    3 minutes

The US military knew there was going to be an attack at the Kabul Airport last week.

On Wednesday, August 25th the US State Department issued a warning to US nationals to avoid traveling to Hamid Karzai Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan. The US told those waiting outside to leave immediately.

On Thursday, August 26th a suicide bomber blew himself up near the Abbey Gate at the Kabul Airport killing 13 Americans: 11 US Marines, a Navy Hospitalman, and an Army Staff Sgt.

    R.I.P.

Following the attack, one Marine wrote a text message to The Raid Team. The Marine who was on the scene disclosed that there was a countdown before the suicide bomber detonated himself.

The Taliban allowed the bomber to get through the perimeter. The Marines did not allow the bomber to get through the inside perimeter. He was outside the gate when he detonated his explosive vest by the crowded Abbey Gate at the Kabul Airport.

According to our source, there were also reports of Marines who saw the Taliban laughing after the deadly blast.

Belarus Floods EU with Migrants from Middle East

A surge in illegal immigration into the European Union is being orchestrated by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. Dozens of Afghan migrants remain trapped in a stand-off along the border between Poland and Belarus. They have been camping out in a forest near the village of Usnarz Górny for almost a month after being taken there at gunpoint by Belarusian authorities. Thousands of migrants from Africa, Asia and the Middle East are pouring into the European Union from Belarus, a landlocked country in Eastern Europe. The surge in illegal immigration is being orchestrated by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, who is accused of trying to blackmail the EU into reversing the sanctions it imposed over his disputed reelection and a crackdown on dissent.

Many of the migrants are being flown to Belarus from the Middle East and then bussed to EU borders by Belarusian authorities. The trips are being organized by Belarus’s state-owned tourism agency, which charges migrants between $1,800 to $12,000.

We have right to raise our voice for Muslims in Kashmir, say Taliban – Times of India
    ANI / Sep 3, 2021, 09:43 IST
    3-4 minutes

KABUL: Amid India’s concern that Afghanistan territory might be used for anti-India activity under the Taliban regime, the terror group has said that it has the right to raise its voice for Muslims anywhere including in Kashmir. However, it added that the group does not have the policy to raise arms against any country.
In an interview with BBC Urdu, Taliban spokesperson Suhail Shaheen said: “We have this right, being Muslims, to raise our voice for Muslims in Kashmir, India, and any other country.”
“We will raise our voice and say that Muslims are your own people, your own citizens. They are entitled to equal rights under your laws,” he added, according to Geo News.
Shaheen remarks are in contrast with the group’s earlier statements on Kashmir. Days after taking control of Kabul, the Taliban had said Kashmir is a “bilateral and an internal matter”.

Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi on Thursday said India’s aim is to ensure Afghanistan’s land is not used for terror activity of any kind.
In the first formal and publicly acknowledged contact, Indian Ambassador to Qatar Deepak Mittal met senior Taliban leader Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai on Tuesday and conveyed India’s concerns that Afghanistan’s soil should not be used for anti-Indian activities and terrorism.
The MEA said the discussions also focused on the safety, security and early return of Indian nationals stranded in Afghanistan and the travel of Afghan nationals, especially members of minority communities to India.

Hans von Spakovsky, manager of the Heritage Foundation’s Election Law Reform Initiative and a senior legal fellow of the Meese Center for Legal and Judicial Studies, said president Joe Biden’s margins of victory in Arizona, Nevada, and Wisconsin in the 2020 presidential election were narrower than the states’ respective totals of unaccounted-for ballots.

Biden’s margin of victory in Wisconsin was approximately 20,000 votes despite the number of ballots “missing or undeliverable” in the state amounting to 83,000, von Spakovsky noted.

“Remember the margin of victory in Wisconsin was only 20,000 votes, and that basically 82,000 ballots were either lost or undeliverable or were rejected,” von Spakovsky said on Wednesday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow. “That’s four times the margin of victory.”

“Those are the numbers that the Wisconsin Election Commission itself reported to the U.S. Election Assistance Commission,” he added.

  5. Why has Poland declared state of emergency? Border row triggers threat to ‘life of nation’
POLAND has issued a state of emergency for two provinces, allowing it to impose restrictions while a “threat to the life of the nation” exists. Why has Poland declared a state of emergency?

American citizens left behind in Afghanistan are reportedly being held “hostage” by the Taliban, who purportedly are seeking “more out of Americans” before releasing planes that have permission to land in Qatar.
    What are the details?

CBS News correspondent Christina Ruffini reported Sunday that “multiple flights are being held on the ground at the Mazar-i-Sharif airport in Northern Afghanistan… by the Taliban.”

An email sent by the State Department to members of Congress reportedly explained the flights held by the Taliban have permission to land in Doha, Qatar — but only “if and when the Taliban agrees to takeoff.”

“The Taliban is basically holding them hostage to get more out of the Americans,” a congressional source told CBS News.

  7. ‘We will not be a parking lot!’ Serbia and Austria vow to halt Afghan refugees entering EU
THE LEADERS of Austria and Serbia have met to discuss the ways they can stop waves of Afghan migrants entering Europe as the Balkan migration route used by Syrian refugees in 2015 is set to see more people use it.

    [..]
Mr Vucic said Serbia would not be the “parking lot” for migrants waiting and planning to move further into Europe as countries begin to bolster their border security.
Mr Kurz has called for countries nearer to Afghanistan to take the bulk of the refugees as he fears of a repeat of the 2015 Syrian migrant crisis.
The Austrian politician said Austria took a “disproportionately high” number of refugees in 2015 and said Austria would not take in any Afghan migrants.
Mr Kurz said: “At this moment if there’s any migrant wave they are within Afghanistan.
“If there are any waves towards other countries they should be taken care of in neighbouring countries and it must not happen that they head towards Europe.”
Mr Vucic added: “Those who are leaving Afghanistan have a clear goal, western Europe and the United States of America.
“Not many of them want to stay in the western Balkans, we’ll show our solidarity towards everyone but we will not be a parking lot for migrants.”
Countries like Greece and Hungary have also installed walls and other border security measures to prevent large portions of migrants entering the country.
Hungary has been noted as being particularly strict with the country flat out refusing to let any refugees in.
Former rear admiral Dr Chris Parry told Express.co.uk the European Union has failed to install a proper external border policy and will see the results when waves of refugees enter Europe.
He explained: “The problem is that it’s taken the European Union nearly 28 years to agree on an external borders policy and nothing’s happened.
