The handshake that was vilified around the world, and the CVE is back in overdrive: Links post 1 for February 16, 2021

1. CBC makes video stirring up controversy about a peaceful exchange they dont like, and report it as a controversy. Perhaps it already was. But it doesn’t seem like CBC would report on a BLM or ANTIFA demo this way if, in the extremely unlikely event, an officer shook the hand of an ANTIFA or BLM demonstration leader. The CBC would attempt to spin that as proof that they were reasonable groups. Of course we will never know, as that never happened. But how interesting is it that they try and foment anger at the police in this instance. Much like how they created the narrative that the Proud Boys are a terrorist group for wanting Canada to uphold the law and human rights, while praising ANTIFA (ANFINO) as a heroic group of Nazi fighters, while being actual Nazis. The CBC video goes on to make false equivalence with homosexual rights as well.

CTV also makes this into “The Handshake that was seen around the World”.

(The ONLY thing that enemy propaganda gets right, and thats by accident, is that freedom is a right wing thing.)

2. Bill Gates says rich countries should be eating 100% synthetic beef

(Of course what we know about Gates allows us certainty that eating synthetic beef is for the peasants. He of course, will enjoy Kobe beef for every meal and possibly for his dogs. We know this because he took his private jet to the Paris Accords on CO2 reduction when he could have been there by Skype)

Bill Gates is arguing that the world’s wealthiest countries should ditch beef for plant-based alternatives to fight global climate change, in a recent interview with MIT Technology Review

While he explained the “80 poorest countries” still must rely on real meat consumption, the Microsoft co-founder says the future should be plant-based for developed

“I do think all rich countries should move to 100% synthetic beef. You can get used to the taste difference, and the claim is they’re going to make it taste even better over time. Eventually, that green premium is modest enough that you can sort of change the [behavior of] people or use regulation to totally shift the demand,” the Microsoft co-founder told the MIT Tech Review.

3. The following link is to an article about the new rector for one of the oldest and apparently prestigious universities in Europe. The only attributes mentioned anywhere in this article that might be qualifiers as to why she got this prestigious position, is that she is black, African, and a victim of racism, although the article is extremely careful not to say who the perpetrators of the racist acts are. Itself a very curious thing these days when if it was actually white people, their photos would normally be in the article.

The Rector appears to be an analogue for Dean. So she is in fact in charge of the University of Edinburgh. I imagine having had her car tires punctured should make her an excellent candidate for that position. But since that is not a common occurrence among black people in the UK, one has to wonder if maybe it was because someone didn’t like her for who she actually is? This of course would count as a kind of anti-merit and a form of individualism I suppose, so perish the thought. Video at link.

4. Brad Johnson: USAF purging conservatives from the forces:

The actions of the US government are taking in the Military are evidence of the claim that this is Obama’s third term. Long time readers of this site may remember a number of articles discussing Obama’s “office of the CVE” or, Countering Violent Extremism. According to Stephen Coughlin’a analysis, the CVE was a classic in essence, Frankfurt School tactic of linguistic sleight of hand. The key was to label any patriot, especially ones who had sworn an oath to defend the constitution from all enemies, both foreign and domestic, as extremists, and the ones in armed services as violent extremists. At the same time, any attempt to label muslim terrorists under the CVE as terrorists was considered Islamophobia. In fact, the FBI could have stopped the Sarinov Brothers from carrying out the Boston Marathon bombers as they knew who they were. But under the Obama era instructions, any term like Madrassa, or Islam etc. had to be a dead end and no further investigation could be carried out under those lines of investigation.

I have it on good authority, that the Biden admin has rekindled the CVE and increased the octane of the fuel.

Here is a 2015 video with Stephen Coughlin on the CVE deception

5. French lawmakers approve bill to battle ‘Islamist separatism’

PARIS: France’s lower house of parliament on Tuesday (Feb 16) voted in favour of a law to battle “Islamist separatism” that is billed by the government as a riposte to religious groups attempting to undermine the secular state.

The draft legislation, which has been criticised for stigmatising Muslims and giving the state new powers to limit speech and religious groups, was backed by a clear majority of MPs in the National Assembly.

President Emmanuel Macron’s centrist party rallied around the law, with 347 National Assembly lawmakers voting in favour, 151 against and 65 abstaining.

The text will now be submitted to the upper house Senate, where Macron’s party does not hold a majority.

“It’s an extremely strong secular offensive,” Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin told RTL radio ahead of the vote Tuesday. “It’s a tough text … but necessary for the republic.”

(Pretty sure the Islamic “undermining of the secular state” ship has sailed but it will be fun watching Macron try and semaphore it back to harbour.)

6. What did Pelosi know about the events on January 6 in advance of those events?

Thank you M., ML., Richard, ET., EB., MissPiggy, Oz-Rita, Wrath of Khan, Sassy, Chris Jones, Michelle and everyone who sent in links, analysis and thoughts and comments today and everyday.

There are many indicators that the people demanding an end to CO2 production because of the alleged man made Global Warming it causes, do not believe a word of their own spewage. For one, they would all be staunch advocates of nuclear power. Even if they were Chernobyl brand reactors, the problems are local and nothing like they prophesy for the greenhouse effect.

Also there are fast easy ways to dramatically cut down on CO2 emissions without any new power sources at all. In cold countries for example, for more than half the year a series of ducts and mercury switches should allow us to not use any power to our refrigerators and freezers whenever it goes below a certain temperature. Surely with good insulated pipes and covers with smart thermostats this would be easy to do.

Another major indicator of the AGW lie, is that the same people pushing for policy changes to lower CO2 output, are usually the exact same people demanding open borders from the tropical 3rd world.

Without exaggerating, it has been determined that the CO2 production in a Northern country like Canada or the US, basically any industrial country, is FOUR TIMES the CO2 produced by a person in the under developed world. Yet the Global warming people and organizations keep demanding an open flow of people from the pre-industrial and warm countries to the industrial and cold ones. So their concern over CO2 is of course, bogus.

And then there is this guy:

Add this method in, and we know there is no energy shortage, and if CO2 was actually a problem, it could be solved in a couple of years.

Yes, global warming really is a commie plot. And the trial ballooned “Climate Lockdowns” you see being floated around out there tend to remind us of that.

  1. ITEM 2 – REMINDER

America’s Biggest Owner Of Farmland Is Now Bill Gates

Bill Gates, the fourth richest person in the world and a self-described nerd who is known for his early programming skills rather than his love of the outdoors, has been quietly snatching up 242,000 acres of farmland across the U.S. — enough to make him the top private farmland owner in America.

    • I forgot to add that there was a vegetarian burger that I loved. The brand name is PC and it was Portobello and Mushrooms.

When I first started buying it, the price was $8 for four burgers. Over a few years, maybe three, I saw the price increase to $12 and then to $18. I stopped buying it when it was $12.

Now, the store no longer carries the product. I figure people stopped buying it.

So, there is loads of money to be made in Gates’ veggie desire to everybody.

Coming back to Gates buying up farmland and people going vegan, eventually the meat producers will encounter financial problems as less meat is sold and they’ll have to raise the price of meat to the point few people will be able to afford it. And then, they’ll go bankrupt.

As all this occurs, slowly but surely, the price of vegetarian replacements will also increase. Food crisis, anyone?

    • Yes they can gut the military, my estimate is that somewhere between 50 and 75% of the military personal (Officer and Enlisted) are Trump supporters. Removing this large a percentage of the military will gut the military but will also guarantee that any counter revolution will succeed in re-establishing freedom. Vets, especially vets who served in a war against guerrilla fighters don’t like being disarmed, all of the Officers and NCO’s own private weapons and a large percentage of the junior enlisted own private weapons. These aren’t people who will willingly turn in their weapons and they are also people who will make contact with other vets to resist the government stealing their property and freedom.

If the left wants to secure total power they have to purge the military, but if they want to maintain their control of the nation they will require the active duty personal and a large percentage of the vets support them. Damned if they do, damned if they don’t.

  2. ITEM 5 – Too many sizeable NO-GO zones in France. The signs were there some ten+ years ago with their street prayers and proliferation of mosques and mega-mosques. The deal was sealed when they allowed the Grande Mosquée de Paris to have a 33-meter high minaret.

    • Closing the barn door too late.
Muslim Behavior/Terrorism Correlated With Population Size

Islam has religious, legal, political, economic, social, and military components. The religious component is a beard for all of the other components.

Islamization begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their religious privileges.

When politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, some of the other components tend to creep in as well.

      Here’s how it works.

As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will be for the most part be regarded as a peace-loving minority, and not as a threat to other citizens.…

At 2% to 5%, they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups, often with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs.…

From 5% on, they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. For example, they will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature halal on their shelves – along with threats for failure to comply.…

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves (within their ghettos) under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islamists is to establish Sharia law over the entire world.

When Muslims approach 10% of the population, they tend to increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions. In Paris, we are already seeing car-burnings. Any non-Muslim action offends Islam, and results in uprisings and threats, such as in Amsterdam , with opposition to Mohammed cartoons and films about Islam.…

After reaching 20%, nations can expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings, and the burnings of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues…

At 40%, nations experience widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks, and ongoing militia warfare…

From 60%, nations experience unfettered persecution of non-believers of all other religions (including non-conforming Muslims), sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon, and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels…

After 80%, expect daily intimidation and violent jihad, some State-run ethnic cleansing, and even some genocide, as these nations drive out the infidels, and move toward 100% Muslim…

100% will usher in the peace of ‘Dar-es-Salaam’ — the Islamic House of Peace. Here there’s supposed to be peace, because everybody is a Muslim, the Madrases are the only schools, and the Koran is the only word…

  3. 6 – What did Pelosi know and when did she know it? That is the question and if the Dems lead by Pelosi go through with the 9/11 committee investigation of the 1/6/21 riot all of the questions will be answered, along with several others that not many people are currently asking.

Here is the JE Dyer article on this issue https://libertyunyielding.com/2021/02/15/capitol-riot-prying-out-the-narrative-bringing-in-nuggets-of-reality/ it is long but it is worth the time it takes to read it.

  4. Rector is an honorary position at Edinburgh University, elected by the members of the university for a limited term of, I think, three years. All kinds of unsuitable people have been so elected in the past. The man in charge is known as the Principal or Vice-Chancellor.

    • Thank you Simon. When I looked up the term, it said it was the person in charge of an organization. As you describe it, its tokenism and in a way, who cares. Let’s see how it plays out.

My guess is about as well as the most recent Governor general of Canada did.
