Five more items suggesting the state of the Zeitgeist: Links 2, February 12, 2021

1. Love your servitude. Aldous Huxley and George Orwell

2. 11 minute BBC video on the new leaders of The Islamic State. The fact that they call it that makes me thing this one didn’t get green lighted by their political officer. CBC would never let that happen.

3. Ted Cruz Comes Out Swinging For Fired Disney Star Gina Carano

4. Calls to cancel Tucker Carlson, (The last truth telling major political show that one can get via TV) has become deafening and funded by Soros and other odious characters who seek the total destruction of classical thought and civilization. Article from the Epoch Times. Tucker show where he explains this below. By the way, like all his shows this week, its excellent. Even important.

4. Trump defense team plays video of Democrats ‘inciting’ language

5. Lockdowns must work really well. Melbourne is on its 3rd one and South Dakota hasn’t done any!

Thank you M., ML., Wrath of Khan, Richard, Oz-Rita, EB., ET., C., Michelle, Xanthippa,

This is how bringing a gun to school used to be

EB offers us this from Camus:

“The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.”

  1. 4. This is somewhat related to the Tucker Carlson Show and the Albert Camus quote. You see, the Albert Camus quote and the Van Morrison song ” Bright Side of the Road” was my reaction to the two songs that I played in my head after speaking to my old classmates and workmates. One friend I can speak freely. The other three I censor myself because I do not want to offend or upset anyone.
These two songs remind me of the two C’s: Covid & Communism.

    • To understand, “I am who I am” instead of “I am whatever I believe” is their difference. From walking freely and unscathed, towards being bonded to people, things and places with fanaticism. Where evil intention can create blasphemy, hate speech and thought crimes for prisons without walls.

The first attitude is a definition from within (with no name), and the second attitude a definition from without (with a proud protected name).

To be in the world but not of the world, is freedom. For example, to say, “I think…” and not, “as an African American Lesbian, muslim, I think….” The yoke that is light, and the baggage that rattles everywhere defining virtues of the victims – LGBTQRSTU imprinted so many times on the way from birth.

“The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.”

Repent, for the kingdom of reality is near. And be hated. Seeing what they cannot see, and no longer blindly submit. Outdoor Cameras digitally recognize the happy. Bright eye alert.

“Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” Where was that country?

  2. The Camus quote is already a reality as conservatives are now targeted simply because they are conservatives.

  3. #2 To be fair, BBC uses ‘Islamic State’ in quotes, and the story mentions they don’t really have territory at the moment.
Personally, i find it interesting that he’s not from the Quraiysh tribe. That’s a requirement for being a real caliph, so how do his followers rationalize that?

  4. I think I know what is wrong with the Democrats now, they’re all punch drunk from all that fighting. Militancy can seriously damage your brain.
