1. Well. That didn’t take long. Back to politics as usual as bombs rock Baghdad

2. ONE HOUR after Biden was sworn in, the WHO changed their standards for amplification cycles of PCR tests. This of course means the number of false positives will drop DRAMATICALLY and of course, the measures needed to condemn this most horrible plague can be softened as much as they dare. (And we did predict this on this site some weeks ago.)

Target audience: laboratory professionals and users of IVDs.

Purpose of this notice: clarify information previously provided by WHO. This notice supersedes WHO Information Notice for In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Device (IVD) Users 2020/05 version 1, issued 14 December 2020.

Description of the problem: WHO requests users to follow the instructions for use (IFU) when interpreting results for specimens tested using PCR methodology.  

Users of IVDs must read and follow the IFU carefully to determine if manual adjustment of the PCR positivity threshold is recommended by the manufacturer.

WHO guidance Diagnostic testing for SARS-CoV-2 states that careful interpretation of weak positive results is needed (1). The cycle threshold (Ct) needed to detect virus is inversely proportional to the patient’s viral load. Where test results do not correspond with the clinical presentation, a new specimen should be taken and retested using the same or different NAT technology.

WHO reminds IVD users that disease prevalence alters the predictive value of test results; as disease prevalence decreases, the risk of false positive increases (2). This means that the probability that a person who has a positive result (SARS-CoV-2 detected) is truly infected with SARS-CoV-2 decreases as prevalence decreases, irrespective of the claimed specificity.

Most PCR assays are indicated as an aid for diagnosis, therefore, health care providers must consider any result in combination with timing of sampling, specimen type, assay specifics, clinical observations, patient history, confirmed status of any contacts, and epidemiological information.

(This is interpreted as meaning the number of amplification cycles to be used with the PCR test is to be reduced now. Which goes a long way to suggest that a significant part of the reason for the insanely high test rates and harsh measures was to destroy Donald Trump and his rejuvenated America and American economy.)

(A non story in a way. The media is the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party. Much like how they presented ANTIFA insurgency and violent revolutionary activity all summer as “Mostly peaceful protests”, the media will ignore this and punish people that point it out. Especially any victims of ANTIFA thuggery who try and present video on social media. At this point we can more openly predict events by assuming a Soviet methodology. Or perhaps Chinese and eventually North Korean.)

Far-left activists vandalized buildings and clashed with police in the Pacific Northwest on Jan. 20, voicing their opposition to the government, law enforcement, and the freshly sworn-in President Joe Biden, with some carrying signs reading, “We are ungovernable.”

In Portland, black-clad activists with their faces covered broke windows and the glass door at the Democratic Party of Oregon business office, spray-painting an anarchist symbol over the party sign, video posted on social media showed. Some of them tipped over garbage containers and lit the contents on fire, according to reports.

“We don’t want Biden. We want revenge for police murders, imperialist wars, and fascist massacres,” read a banner they marched under, while others carried a banner saying, “We are not governable,” which was dotted with anarchy symbols.

5. Local doctor among 3 Beverly Hills residents arrested in connection with Capitol riot: FBI

(KTLA) — Three Beverly Hills residents — one of them a Kern doctor– are facing federal charges in Washington, D.C. in connection with the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, officials said.

Gina Bisignano, 52, John Strand, 37, and Dr. Simone Gold, 55 are expected to appear in federal court in downtown Los Angeles Tuesday, according to the FBI.

Bisignano, owner of Gina’s Eyelashes and Skincare in Beverly Hills, was arrested Tuesday, while Strand and Gold were taken into custody Monday.

The U.S. Department of Justice on Tuesday shared stills of the three defendants obtained from video reviewed by investigators. The photos show the individuals both outside and inside the Capitol.

The FBI began receiving tips about Bisignano’s involvement on Jan. 10 and reviewed her social media accounts in which she said she would be attending the rally at the Capitol, officials said.

UPDATE: She was singled out for arrest

(There should be a statue of Dr. Gold for her efforts to bypass enemy propaganda media and both inform people about treatments for Wuhan Flu such as HCQ, and being part of a network that helps people get it.)
