1. Would be good to know more aout this event. Why did the cop arrest the Prius driver at the end?

2. Greece to Recruit 800 New Border Guards After Turks Push Migrants to Frontier

(Be fun to see how long 800 new border guards can show restraint that none of them want to have)

Greek Minister of Civil Protection Michalis Chrysochoidis has revealed that another 400 border guards will be recruited to man the border in addition to the 400 previously announced by the government.

Minister Chrysochoidis made the announcement on Tuesday during a visit to the Evros border region and was welcomed by local vice mayor Dimitris Petrovic, who took to Facebook to thank the minister for increasing the contingent of border guards.

4. Serbia and Kosovo Agree to Name Disputed Lake After Donald Trump

(More meaningful than a “Peace Prize” won by Obama and Arafat)

Serbia and Kosovo agreed on Thursday to name a lake in a disputed territory after President Donald Trump.

The lake, known to Kosovars as the “Ujman” and to Serbians as the “Gazivoda,” is the subject of dispute between the two countries, with around 80 percent of its waters located in Kosovo and 20 percent in Serbia. A banner appeared over the lake on Thursday, however, reading “Lake Trump.”

The Gazeta Express has learned that both Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic have expressed their willingness to accept the name moving forward.

“What to call the lake that is in Kosovo and Serbia has been a serious sticking point despite the U.S. forged compromise to launch a feasibility study to create jobs and more energy for the region….so both sides have agreed to a new name: Lake Trump,” former acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Richard Grenell wrote on Twitter.

5. Kentucky lawmaker who proposed ‘Breonna’s law’ to stop ‘no-knock’ warrants is arrested along with 24 others for rioting as Louisville is rocked by a second night of unrest and BLM mob occupies a church for sanctuary after curfew

(As an aside, the police did have a no-knock warrant but knocked anyway. So as per usual, the protests and demands are based on a narrative rather than real events)

A Kentucky Democrat who proposed the ‘Breonna’s law’ legislation that would ban the use of no-knock warrants across the state was arrested while protesting in Louisville on Thursday night and charged with rioting.

Attica Scott was arrested alongside daughter Ashanti and at least 24 others in the parking lot of the First Unitarian Church, where police and demonstrators got locked in a two-hour standoff after a 9pm curfew elapsed.

Scott and her daughter are facing charges of first-degree rioting as well as failure to disperse and unlawful assembly after police said the group of protesters smashed the windows of a nearby library and a flare was thrown into the building.

7. Quarantined Migrants Grow Angry, Set Fires in Italian Hotel

(Funny how dissatisfied Hotel guests never thought of setting the place on fire, and they actually have to pay for it)

Migrants housed in a Sicilian hotel set fires in the accommodation to protest against anti-coronavirus measures.

The Villa Sant’Andrea hotel, located in the town of Valderice, has been used to quarantine migrants to prevent the spread of the Wuhan virus. Italy has struggled to find places to isolate the newly-arrived migrants as numbers continue to surge.

Earlier this week, migrants set fire to mattresses and other furniture, which in turn unleashed a wave of panic through the accommodation, Italian newspaper Il Giornalereports.

8. 2 wounded in Paris knife attack near former Charlie Hebdo offices

At least two people were wounded in a knife attack Friday near the former offices of the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo in Paris, police said Friday. A suspect has been arrested.

A Paris police official said that while authorities initially thought two attackers were involved, they now believe it was only one person, who was detained near the Bastille plaza in eastern Paris, a city police official said. The official said police are still searching the area while they question the arrested suspect.

Police initially announced that four people were wounded in the attack, but the official told The Associated Press that there are in fact only two confirmed wounded. Police could not explain the discrepancies.

(Amazing how little information there is in this Global News report. All we know is, “some people did something and its not as bad as we thought at first”. Basically all news copy where muslims commit acts of murder for terrorism purposes, is written by Ilhan Ohmar)

[…] Police did not release the identities of the attacker or the wounded, who are in “absolutely urgent” condition, the official said. The official was not authorized to be publicly named.

Here is an actual news site in France though:

Attaque à la machette devant les anciens locaux de Charlie Hebdo (MàJ : un Pakistanais déjà connu de la police arrêté, un 2ème suspect “indo-pakistanais” interpellé)

(Oh Look! We have the name, national origin (Pakistan) and real info on the attacker!)
