A package containing the poison ricin and addressed to Trump intercepted by law enforcement

CNN till we get a better source

(CNN)A package containing the poison ricin and addressed to President Donald Trump was intercepted by law enforcement earlier this week, according to two law enforcement officials.

Two tests were done to confirm the presence of ricin. All mail for the White House is sorted and screened at an offsite facility before reaching the White House.
A US law enforcement official told CNN that investigators are looking into the possibility the ricin package sent to Trump came from Canada.
Mary-Liz Power, chief spokeswoman for Canada’s Minister of Public Safety Bill Blair, said in a statement, “We are aware of the concerning reports of packages containing ricin directed toward US federal government sites. Canadian law enforcement is working closely with their US counterparts. As this is an active investigation we cannot comment further.”
The FBI and Secret Service are investigating the matter.

  1. Third story this week that I know of hostility against the U.S. coming from Canada. One from B.C., Waterloo, and this. Is Dystopia free only for the enemies of freedom?

    • Unfortunately CBC and CTV do not show the large crowds of protesters against this feckless Canadian Government and it would never do to let the public see the number of Canadian protesters supporting Trump. Divide and conquer, everybody has to hate somebody under Justine Trudeau.

  2. I heard about a letter being intercepted but didn’t know it contained ricin. This is the first I have heard about it coming from Canada.

  3. The letter was mailed from MONTREAL.

On the top right of the envelope, the postal code of the Canada Post office starts with H4T, that would be Ville St-Laurent which is a borough that borders Montreal West-Island.

That borough has a sizeable Islamic population and one radical mosque.
Yesterday, upon knowing the letter originated in Canada, my first thought was a Muslim.

      • Yes, I would agree: RED.
There’s a serious ongoing operation, evacuation of neighbors… chemical search or whatever.

      • MONTREAL: Overnight, Rebellion Extinction was at work. “It will burn well”…

        – Members of the group say they scaled the building under the cover of darkness Sunday night, to “hijack” the billboard in under three hours.

Translating to “it will burn well,” the group is openly mocking the popular slogan used during the current pandemic in Quebec, “Ça va bien aller,” to promote climate action.

“That message brings more apathy, so if we do nothing it won’t go well,” said Alix Ruhlman, spokesperson for the group.

“The message is we have to act now, and fight climate change.” –

    • VLAD: This is so strange, I’m baffled.
The mention of the woman being in possession of a gun has been wiped out.

Before posting the comment, I checked other MSM and it was mentioned in quite a few reports, both in French and English. Now, gone!

      • GLOBAL NEWS

The woman is expected to face federal charges, law enforcement officials told the AP, however, her name has not been released.

She was due to appear in court Monday but is now scheduled to appear on Tuesday at 4 p.m., according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Several sources told Global News that the final determination is still being made on her citizenship, as the arrested woman was classified as a U.S. person — someone who has either had American immigration status now or in the past or is an American citizen.

The sources previously told Global News Sunday evening that senior officials believed she was an American citizen, and confirmed that she was carrying a gun when she was arrested.
