How to become a better terrorist, and what is necessary for a successful attack on the West? Researchers at the Institute of Strategic Dialogue think tank have found instructions on such topics across the internet, along with tens of thousands of other documents related to the Islamic State terrorist organization.

Despite the territorial defeat of the Islamists, their digital library seems to be thriving.

Researchers at the institute called the extensive collection of propaganda materials “The Caliphate Cache“. The first clue to the secret library was obtained after the death of the leader of the Islamic State, Abu Bakr Baghdadi, last autumn, the BBC wrote.

They noticed that social media contributors claiming to belong to IS began publishing posts with a shortened link, which led one researcher to documents and videos in nine languages, revealing the actual size of the “Islamic State Library.”

Now, there are over 90,000 copies of IS documents on several servers. In addition to religious texts and extremist ideology, these are also highly idealized descriptions of what life in an Islamic state looks like. According to the BBC, it is likely that many of the documents were seen by the girls who then went to Syria and Iraq to marry a selected terrorist.

The library also contains specific instructions for killing innocent people, including poisoning them with common over-the-counter pharmaceuticals.

BEAVER CREEK, Colorado | The drug hydroxychloroquine has gotten a bad rap thanks to politics, media hype and some “garbage” medical research, according to Dr. Scott Atlas, who joined the White House coronavirus task force earlier this month.

“What’s happened with hydroxychloroquine is that the system has gone mad,” Dr. Atlas said Friday at the Steamboat Institute Freedom Conference. “I sort of make the analogy that we all know objective journalism is basically dead in this country, I’m very cynical about that, and now what we’re seeing is that objective science is nearly dead.”

Dr. Atlas, a senior fellow with the Hoover Institution in Stanford, California, emphasized that the drug has not been proven as a treatment for the novel coronavirus — “I’m not going to say it’s proven to work because it’s not” — but he challenged those who have accused President Trump of pushing snake oil.

8. Oscars Set New Inclusion and Diversity Standards for Best Picture Eligibility

The standards are designed to nudge the industry in the direction of increased representation throughout all stages of film production, by using the lure of the movies’ most coveted prize

Films hoping to compete for Oscars in the Best Picture category will in the future need to meet a series of standards for representation and inclusion, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced on Tuesday.

The Academy’s new standards, a rare instance in which Oscars eligibility is dependent upon factors apart from how long a movie is or how it is distributed, include the use of actors from underrepresented racial or ethic groups; storylines centering on underrepresented groups; creative leadership and key crew positions occupied by women or members of racial or ethic groups, the LGBTQ+ community or those with cognitive or physical disabilities; paid apprenticeship, internship or training opportunities for underrepresented groups; and diversity in marketing, publicity and distribution.

To qualify for Best Picture, a film will need to meet the standards in two of four different areas: On-Screen Representation, Themes and Narratives; Creative Leadership and Project Team; Industry Access; and Opportunities and Audience Development.

(Themes and narratives, ay? So like everything else where merit should bring people to the top, we will have to make our own prize for best whatever event it is, and keep it away from elites till they take it over anyway then do it again. This is probably the history of the world anyway, but so much faster now its easier to notice. Which means it could be not such a bad thing. Remember, like most awards and prizes and even politicians, they have only so much authority as we give them. As TV fades and more people find what they want online, the Oscars could become a thing the next generation never heard of. Except maybe as the Special Olympics of entertainment. A lovely thing for those categories that normally cannot get recognition in the general field of those who have pushed the potential of humanity in the direction of excellence.)

10. Trump Nominated for 2021 Noble Peace Prize by Norwegian Lawmaker In Wake of Israel-UAE Deal

The nomination comes just weeks after the United States helped broker the peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, paving way for their diplomatic relations.

President Donald Trump has been nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize, Fox News reported on Wednesday. The US President was nominated by a Norwegian lawmaker Christian Tybring-Gjedde for brokering the peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

“For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees,” Tybring-Gjedde told Fox News in an interview.

According to the nomination letter sent to the Nobel Committee the deal overseen by the Trump administration was a “game changer that will turn the Middle East into a region of cooperation and prosperity,” Fox News reports.

(This is concerning. At this point the Nobel Peace Prize is so sullied that winning it makes you look bad.)

  1. Some brave people are working to preserve freedom and science in the modern age of ignorance and superstition, they are meeting massive resistance from the people who want to use the new superstitions they are pushing to manipulate us into giving up all of our rights.

  3. Those old movies are the only movies worth watching. Paint Your Wagon was great.
    What a cool guy. Hollywood is like the NFL and pro-sports, dead. We should do them a favor and put them out of their misery by refusing to give them one, thin, dime. Ever.
    Men and women died in the military, or gave up eyes, arms, legs, brains, and our American men who claim to love this great nation can’t sacrifice pro-sports. That’s pathetic.
    Ask yourself who has more zeal, your average Jihadi, or American men. It better be the latter.
