4. MSNBC producer quits with scathing letter calling the news network a ‘cancer’ that ‘stokes division’, ‘blocks diversity of thought’ and ‘amplifies fringe voices’ for the sake of ratings

An MSNBC producer has shared a scathing open letter after quitting the network, claiming it is a ‘cancer’ because it ‘blocks diversity of thought’ and ‘amplifies fringe voices’.

Ariana Pekary posted the letter online yesterday after quitting the network where she spent seven years working as a producer on shows including Up Late with Alec Baldwin and The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell.

She said she could no longer stand to work at the network which ‘stokes national division, even in the middle of a civil rights crisis’ and ‘blocks diversity of thought and content because the networks have incentive to amplify fringe voices and events’.

6. Only two nations ever fought wars to end slavery of Africans. Mostly it should be added, by other Africans. One of those two nations was England. Marxists have rewritten history to attack England for slavery while ignoring the Islamic world that still looks on slavery of Africans in particular, as a holy and just thing. Like in Mauritania or Sudan and many other nations where it is still practiced, sometimes in name, and sometimes slightly disguised.

This might explain it:

7. Hungary: “The best kept secret in the world”

Asked about border policies within the bloc, the ambassador said they depended on the country in question. “You have a leader in Hungary that’s a very, very forceful leader. He is not ready to open borders until it’s safe. Right now, with the virus, everything was closed.”

Cornstein said Hungary was “very successful” in fighting the virus, and has had “hardly any cases in a relative sense” and “very few deaths as well”.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán “is not very much interested in open borders” and “would like to have the people that he thinks would be good for the country come into the country”, whether they be tourists or someone who would permanently settle.

Asked about Russia’s influence in Hungary, Cornstein said Hungary’s close relationship with Russia is mainly due to geographic proximity and an “energy dependence”. But, he believed that Hungary does not “have a love really for Russia and what they represent”.

(I think Trump would give the same answer if they asked about America’s relationship with Canada under either Trudeau)

8. 2,700 Evacuated, 22 Injured as Fires Sweep French Region, Cause Unknown

PARIS (AP) – Fires fueled by strong Mediterranean winds have raced across multiple towns in the Marseilles region of France, leaving at least 22 people injured, destroying several businesses and forcing the evacuation of 2,700 tourists, nursing home residents and others.

Some 1,800 firefighters, backed by planes and helicopters, battled the worst fires through the night around the town of Martigues. They were still working Wednesday to extinguish it more than 14 hours after it broke out Tuesday, according to the local fire service.

Its flames spread quickly from a wooded area toward the sea, eight kilometres (five miles) away, sweeping through residential areas and multiple campgrounds. Firefighters rushed to evacuate campers via land and sea.

The cause of the fires is not known.

Eight civilians and 14 firefighters suffered minor injuries in the Martigues blaze and five others that erupted in the area Tuesday, the fire service said. The other fires were brought under control in the towns of Port-de-Bouc, Aubagne-Carnoux, Gignac-la-Nerthe and Fontvieille.

  1. Did we (Britain) actually go to war against African slavery? (I accept that we did employ and threaten lethal force to end the Atlantic slave trade, with considerable loss of British lives, but did we go to war? Have I forgotten something important?)

    • I was thinking of the use of the British Navy to attack African slavers who would not end their practices. I guess you could call this extreme extra-national policing.

When you look at those old fortresses, that had been build by European Powers during the 17th. and 18th. Century along the “Slave-coast” of Africa, you’ll notice something peculiar, namely that all Guns are facing towards the approaches from the Sea, not one towards the interior.
Think about that, think what this actually means.

Here we go… Just hold on to your hats if Trump loses and the left gets a clear mandate to really get serious about their climate change swindle. And listen to Bill telling us that COVID-19 is good practice for how it’s going to be all day long every day in the land of “The Great Climate Change Crisis!!!”.

I don’t want to have to wear goggles and a mask and I don’t want to have to wear an anti-fart device strapped to my behind… Lord, how I hate them. Climate change will give them permission to do whatever the hell they want to do. Watch as they ban barbecues and declare cold beer to be “Non-Essential”. We’ll all be moving to North Korea in search of freedom and truth…
