Cloth masks, THIRTEEN TIMES more likely to cause infection in wearer

1. The science, and the science of the studies, on mask use to prevent. Wuhan Flu transmission. (Long but really good)

Mask Facts: The Science & History Of Masks In Medicine from Shawn Model on Vimeo.

The psychology of wearing masks: (Short but very satisfying)

  1. I posted previously. The American Southwest has a long tradition of face-coverings, namely bandanas, in the face of sand fever. I reckon it useful to try out to see if the infection rates go down. There are other ways to experiment with diminishing transmission–pick what works for you: transparent mask, bandana, burqa, chador, ski hat with eye slits. Self-preservation should be all the mandate that is needed.

  2. If all the at-risk people like me shut themselves off, wore masks, and kept close contact with their doctors with hydroxychloroquine at the ready while the healthy majority went about their business – almost trying to get the virus – wouldn’t it spread in that population then wear itself out and go away, leaving a young populace with immunity and unable to spread the disease? Closing schools and nightclubs isn’t saving any lives, it’s just inconveniencing the hell out of a lot of people who aren’t at risk for COVID-19 and shouldn’t even be thinking about it. And if I went to a nightclub on a Friday night now I’d have to have rocks in my bloody head and I might well be dead within the month. I’m the problem, not some school-age kid…

    • After losing 13 pounds I decided to give up on my no mask, no grocery shopping diet. I wore one of my dog scarves to the grocery store. I asked 13 people, in the series of lines I had to wait in , if they knew anyone who has had or died from COVID. The same old answer “No”. I
have not found anyone who knows anyone who has had COVID, have you? Most people I talked with do not believe there is a problem but all did tell me they are going through the motions in order to get some groceries. Who is kidding who and when will all this BS stop? How many people died of Ebola and TB last year? Why were we not wearing masks?

I am really tired of all the nonsense, my God people can you imagine what this is doing to the children. China, George Soros, Trudeau, Freeland, Obama, Biden, Pelosi, Nadler, Schumer must be proud. I did not include the squad in my list simply because I do believe they are morally bankrupt.

      • ET,
You’ve asked the question before, and I answered it.
In case you didn’t see it, all I can say is certain communities were hit hard.

To me and mine this has been very real.

    • No COViD-sounds great. Do you live outside a major city?
I don’t know anyone who has erectile dysfunction, but I assume that is because people are reluctant to share that medical information.

A neighbor of mine in his 40’s survived ventilation.
Here are two more people you don’t know:

      • Was the Moon Landing real?
It’s not real to people who haven’t lived it. Do you want to link to obits in the Jewish Press? To the support sites for those who lost loved ones and couldn’t have a funeral or sit shiva?

  4. @Chris Why not ask your doc for a prescription for Zpak to have in hand in case pharmacies close?
Also, why not have a way to measure your oxygen level at home, along with your temperature? COVID patients report that they do not feel out of breath even when O2 level is below 80% .
