Snapshot of several of the issues of the day: Links 2, July 27, 2019

1. Another great Mark Levin moment:

2. Israel, US test missile defense system in Alaska

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at a Cabinet meeting Sunday that the Arrow 3 gives his country the “ability to act against ballistic missiles fired against us from Iran and from any other location.” The U.S. Missile Defense Agency says in a statement that Arrow 3’s interception of a missile outside the atmosphere is a “major milestone” in its development.

Arrow 3, along with the Iron Dome, David’s Sling, and the Arrow 2 systems, is part of the multi-layered shield Israel is developing to defend against rockets fired from Gaza and Lebanon, as well as Iran’s long-range missiles.

(If memory serves, each Iron Dome missile costs around $40,000.00 USD.

That is a lot of money against the home made rockets typical out of Gaza. Hopefully they developed a rail gun or energy weapon that costs far far less and has greater speed and distance than Iron Dome’s system)

3. Alleged ‘Antifa’ member who disrupted College Republicans meeting will NOT face charges

UPDATE: The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office told Campus Reform that the individual arrested after police say he attempted to chain lock a door of the room in which College Republicans were meeting will not be charged with any crime.

“We are declining to prosecute…because, based on the facts presented, it is unlikely that we would be able to prove he intentionally committed the crime of disorderly conduct beyond a reasonable doubt…While we can speculate, the purpose of the suspect’s use of the chain is not entirely clear since there were other doorways/exits in the class that were visible and obvious,” the prosecuting attorney’s office said. […]

Police arrested and cited for disorderly conduct Wednesday a masked individual who attempted to chain the door of a University of Washington-Seattle College Republicans meeting.

The group’s last meeting of the spring term featured a guest speech by the hosts of Operation Cold Front, a local conservative YouTube channel known for man-on-the-street style videos.

4. RT video on John Jesica Yanev’s con jobs for a wax job

(Better than average video. But listen to Yanev’s train of thought. It goes to our theory that multiculturalism is a means to an end in order to achieve the destruction of all cultures in order to achieve global cultural-Marxism.)

5. Setting the record straight on Ilhan Omar and her media obfuscators.

6. Is the French police suicide rate too high or not high enough?

7. An excellent example of who feminists do not support. Ever.

(And again, to the thesis that ‘feminism’ is just an attack vector for communists. They only support women, homosexuality, transgender, black people, Jews, when its destructive for society. They flat out ignore the issues when it isn’t, or when they are genuine victims. BLM is a stunningly good example of this.)

8. 15 killed in Islamist militant attack in Burkina Faso

Armed men described as Islamist militants raided a village in Burkina Faso’s restive north, killing 15 people, plundering and burning shops and motorbikes, a regional governor said Saturday.

The raid took place on the night of Thursday to Friday with “around 20 individuals attacking the village of Diblou,” said a security source who put the death toll at 14.

But a statement by the governor of the Centre-Nord region, Casimir Segueda, said that 15 people were killed, and the village’s market torched.

A local resident said that “the terrorists burnt shops and motorcycles”.

“Almost the entire market was looted,” the resident added.

The poor Sahel state has been battling a rising wave of Islamist militant attacks over the last four years which began in the north but have since spread to the east, near the border with Togo and Benin.

Most attacks in the former French colony are attributed to the Islamist militant group Ansarul Islam, which emerged near the Mali border in December 2016, and to the JNIM (Group to Support Islam and Muslims), which has sworn allegiance to Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb.

(Constant muslim attacks everyday somewhere against the infidel, and Ontario is going to pass an anti-islamophobia bill cause of one small isolated attack at a Quebec mosque. What an insult to the TENS OF THOUSANDS of the innocent murdered by jihadis SINCE 911. Let alone since Mohammad made killing infidels the only sure way to the sky-brothel)

9. France: Muslim city official celebrates his birthday with a Nazi swastika cake

(Robert writes up the salient points at Jihad Watch. Below, the meat and potatoes)

“French city official celebrates his birthday with a swastika cake,” Times of Israel, July 26, 2019 (thanks to the Geller Report):

An official in the French town of Montpelier celebrated his birthday with a cake decorated with a swastika, which he described as “a gift from my SS friend.”

Djamel Boumaaz posted an image of the cake on his Facebook page, the Simon Wiesenthal Center said on Thursday.

The full text of the post celebrating his 40th birthday read: “I spent a beautiful day with my family, music, food in the home of my SS friend, then my birthday cake arrived, a gift from my SS friend.”…

The post later appeared to have been removed from Boumaaz’s Facebook page. His Twitter account was suspended….

10. New NUS president has said that she wanted to ‘oppress white people’ and have an ‘Islamic takeover’

The incoming president of the National Union of Students has said that she wanted to “oppress white people” and have an “Islamic takeover”.

Zamzam Ibrahim, 24, from Greater Manchester, also described the Government’s counter-extremism strategy as “disastrous” and “racist”.

Using the hastag #IfIWasPresident, she wrote on Twitter in 2012: “I’d oppress white people just to give them a taste of what they put us through!” She signed off the message by writing “LMFAO”, which in urban slang is short for “Laughing My F***ing Arse Off”.

Responding to questions online about what book everyone should read, she said: “The Quraan. We would have an Islamic takeover!”

Thank you Richard, M., Wrath of Khan, Elizabeth Thorne, and many more who sent in comments and news items.

  1. 9: What an idiot. I don’t understand the comments on Times of Israel about “French neonazis” etc. This guy is clearly of north-african descent, and his hatred religiously motivated.

  2. 1 – He does a very good job of laying out what is wrong with Mueller, the report and the way the so called investigation was handled.
