Contributor’s Links post for March 10, 2019

Daily Links Post graphic

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We muse use it while we can.

A protest aimed at denouncing the “lies of rancid, supremacist feminism” attracted hundreds of supporters from Catholic and right-wing groups in Madrid on Sunday.

  2. Perry High School has agreed to lift the 10-day suspension of a freshman involved in last week’s Make America Great Again controversy, according to a conservative legal advocacy group that threatened to sue the district on the student’s behalf.

Scottsdale-based Alliance Defending Freedom sent a letter Wednesday to Perry Principal Dan Serrano and Camille Casteel, superintendent of Chandler Unified School District, asking that the school rescind its punishment of a student and allow her to return.

The organization also asked that the suspension be wiped from the girl’s record, according to a copy of the letter posted to its website.

“While it’s good that the school is allowing (the student) to return to school, it isn’t acceptable that this unjust suspension will remain on her record,” Tyson Langhofer, senior counsel and director of the alliance’s Center for Academic Freedom, said in a press release.

Terry Locke, the school district’s spokesman, confirmed that the district received the letter. He said he was unable to provide further information because of student-privacy laws.

Heidi Jones, the mother of the student, told The Arizona Republic on Thursday that her daughter is back at school after a three-day suspension.

  3. Felony charge: MCTC student purposely voted in same election twice

By PAUL WALSH , STAR TRIBUNE
    February 14, 2019 – 9:48 AM

A Hennepin County resident was charged Wednesday with purposely voting twice in the 2017 general election and later explaining that she did so because she liked a candidate who was seeking re-election to the City Council in Minneapolis, where she did not live at the time.

Zameahia J. Ismail, 21, of St. Louis Park, was charged in Hennepin County District Court with a felony and ordered to appear in court on March 20. Court records do not list an attorney for her. A message was left with Ismail seeking a response to the charge.

    According to the criminal complaint:

Ismail registered on Oct. 24, 2017, in the Sixth Ward of Minneapolis and voted there the same day. She repeated the deed on Election Day, Nov. 7, in St. Louis Park.

In an interview with an investigator many months later, Ismail said an acquaintance told her to come to Minneapolis and vote for Council Member Abdi Warsame at a polling place near her school, Minneapolis Community and Technical College. When she said she didn’t have the proper identification, she was assured it was fine.

Evidently, clear-cutting the online landscape is no longer enough. Like so much of what passes for modern Socialist “thought”, conquered territory also must be rendered infertile. No pesky tendrils of original thought or unruly sprouts of individuality must be allowed to emerge from the ashes.

Digital Roundup® is being applied (yup, there’s an app for that) to create an ideological monoculture. Dethroned monarchs and deer harts all take it in the electrical shorts to create a safe space for even the most tender lambs.

Glittering timelines, postered walls, coveted likes, and the allure of fifteen-minute fame dazzles their unfocused ovine senses as the abattoir’s doors swing wide.
