ARTICLE: THE GRAND OLD PAPAL DUKE…
This old children’s nursery rhyme sums up the recent Vatican summit on the sexual abuse of children by priests and bishops. Substitute “Francis, Pope of Rome” for the “grand old Duke of York”, and it says it all. Francis marched his cardinals, archbishops, bishops and priests up to the top of the seven hills of Rome (Rev. 17:3,9) – and then? Then he marched them down again. For, having come from all over the world and having reached the summit, they heard speeches, watched videos, shut their eyes in prayer – and then returned home. The summit achieved nothing. The priestly abuse will continue as it has for hundreds and hundreds of years, and the cover-ups and lies will continue just as they always have. Am I the only person who is aware that the Catholic Priesthood is as gay as a blade and has been for many hundreds of years? Back in the old days, it was a capital offense to be gay and the priesthood was a convenient place to put your gay son rather than see him boiled in oil or skinned alive or barbequed like a steak. It’s not as if these priests are sitting outside of grade-schools in their windowless vans looking to kidnap little girls. It’s a matter of gay priest meets gay kid etcetera, etcetera. I’m not saying that’s OK but a fourteen-year-old Milo Yianopoulos isn’t exactly the same as a virginal little girl. Milo was never a babe-in-the-woods and he can’t get pregnant or ruin his reputation. Parents like to think that it was the priest who turned their son queer but we all know that is ridiculous. There are people who truly hate the Catholic Church and will use whatever they have to discredit it…
The Catholic Church is corrupt to the bone. The priests have always been either pedophiles, gay, or bedding the nuns and the females of their congregation.
I know men who were raised in their residential schools and were among the sex-victims; they’re not gay.
If it doesn’t change its insane and unnatural celibacy requirement, it’s doomed.
