If she really wants to face the consequences of her actions she would do so under sharia. Everything this lawyer says is in the spectrum between spin doctoring and lying.

Also she knows that civil law in the US is far far more compassionate in its worst consequences where there is no death penalty, than how sharia will treat her for the most trivial of actions. But I would insist on something about which, I have been banging a drum for several years now…

 

We must not confuse a military matter with a law and order one. The issue with this woman is clearly a military matter.

  1. Shibly’s such a wiggle worm. What he and CAIR want is for her to be a PR poster child for returning jihadis who are “so sorry” for waging war against the U.S.

  2. I agree it is a military matter, and should be handled that way. It probably won’t but it should.

    In truth, there’s nothing immensely novel to say or add here. This one preceding maxim is the kernel upon which, by logical extension, all other choices depend. Risking whatever melodrama, it’s just that profound.

    I’m unsure whether I come across as comical (intended) or merely cynical (also intended) when I jape at PoMo Progs as a whole (“whole” meant with all its homophones or awkward rhymes). The flip side (very flip if I get it right) is my very serious mention of how thoroughly the Left is nitpickingly purging itself of all things Binary … Except their precious mobile devices around which their entire identities rotate.

    It’s safe to say that if either unary or trinary showed a glimmer of promise, one of those numerical bases already would be legally mandated. Joking? Yes … but not really.
