  1. BOOM! Author Jerome Corsi Files Criminal Complaint Against Robert Mueller for Attempts to Seek False Testimony

Earlier on Monday journalist Paul Sperry released a report accusing Robert Mueller of withholding evidence from the court that would exonerate President Trump from the latest accusations of Russian collusion during the 2016 election.

          • Tardish hypocrisy, what else is new?

More like the usual Islamic cowardice, not hypocrisy. There is wisdom in picking fights that you can win. With all that out of the way: Muslims going into total radio silence about Communist China’s brutalization of Uyghurs even whilst screeching about Islamophobia when someone farts sideways within a country mile of any random mosque isn’t just hypocritical, it’s an insulting plea for leniency where the exact opposite is called for..

Islam’s near-unanimous preference for soft targets shows a shallowness of character that belies any claims of being peaceful. Instead, to the disgust of all Infidels, too often, a predatory, callow, and opportunistic mindset is revealed.

    https://thedefensepost.com/2018/12/03/six-terrorists-shot-dead-burkina-faso-bougui/

“Six people were shot dead by police in eastern Burkina Faso during a “terrorist attack” on a security patrol on Monday, December 3, security sources said.

A police officer was also wounded in the incident at about 0500 GMT near Bougui, around 10 km (6 miles) from Fada N’Gourma, the main town in the East Region administrative area, a source said.

“A patrol team of the territorial gendarmerie brigade of Fada N’Gourma was ambushed in the village of Bougui,” a security source told AFP.

“The terrorists opened fire at the convoy, damaging the lead vehicle.”

The police responded, firing on the attackers, killing six of them but leaving one officer with a foot injury, another security source said.

“Several weapons, including Kalashnikovs and ammunition,” were seized from the assailants, the source added.

The security patrol was attacked during an operation to dismantle a cache of weapons belonging to suspected terrorists in the nearby area, a local official said…”

In the same area, another terrorist called Berbouchi Ouennani, aka Abou Hamza, surrendered too, according to the ministry. He was carrying a Kalashnikov rifle and ammunition.

Both extremists joined militant groups in 2012.

“ISIS terrorist organization claimed Sunday its responsibility for the terrorist attack that occurred earlier this week in Kasserine governorate, 200 km south of the capital.

Akher Khabar Online website quoted ISIS’ Amaq news agency as saying that a number of armed ISIS terrorists attacked a security patrol in central Kasserine’s al-Manar district.

On Thursday night, the security patrol came under fire from two unknown people who tried to approach it before fleeing on a motorcycle, Agence Tunis Afrique Presse (TAP) reported.

A citizen was wounded and taken to the regional hospital of Kasserine for treatment, while the members of the security patrol were unharmed.

  5. US Urges EU to Impose Sanctions on Iran (aawsat, Dec 3, 2018)
    https://aawsat.com/english/home/article/1489366/us-urges-eu-impose-sanctions-iran

“The US called on Monday the European Union to impose sanctions against Iran targeting its ballistic missile program.

Over the weekend, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo charged that Iran tested a medium-range missile capable of carrying multiple warheads and striking parts of Europe and the entire Middle East.

“We are accumulating risk of escalation in the region if we fail to restore deterrence,” Pompeo said.

Washington deemed the move a “grave and escalating threat.”

Pompeo said the test violated UN Security Council Resolution 2231, which endorsed the Iran nuclear deal signed by world powers with the Islamic republic.

“The Iranian government claims that its missile testing is purely defensive in nature. It’s not defensive,” Washington’s Iran special envoy Brian Hook told reporters aboard Pompeo’s plane as he traveled to Brussels for a NATO meeting.

“We would like to see the European Union move sanctions that target Iran’s missile program.”

Hook said President Donald Trump’s campaign of “maximum pressure” on Tehran since withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal “can be effective if more nations can join us in those (sanctions).”

“It is a grave and escalating threat, and nations around the world, not just Europe, need to do everything they can to be targeting Iran’s missile program,” he added.

Hook said “progress” was being made on getting NATO allies to consider a proposal to target individuals and entities that play key roles in Iran’s missile program.

On Thursday, he accused Iran of violating a UN ban on Iranian arms exports by sending weapons to its proxies in Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen.

The United States decided in May to withdraw from the 2015 nuclear deal and reimpose sanctions on Iran.

EU countries have denounced the move and are working to preserve the nuclear deal, even though they have also criticized Iranian positions on other matters.”

  6. Refugees at risk amid weak labour protections in Lebanon and Jordan: Report (mee, Dec 3, 2018)
    https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/refugees-workers-jordan-lebanon-labour-protections-report-766087056

“Migrants and refugees working in the construction industries in Jordan and Lebanon are suffering from a severe lack of labour protections, according to a study released on Monday by an international human rights group.

The Business and Human Rights Resource Center (BHRRC), which has offices in London and New York, said dozens of construction companies working on projects funded by international donors in the two Middle Eastern countries had no clear policies to keep their workers safe.

As a result, the workers – a significant number of whom are refugees from neighbouring, war-torn Syria – can face low pay, “rip-off” recruitment fees and dangerous working conditions, the BHRRC said…”

  7. Maliki: Iraq will not allow its territories to be used to target Iran (memo, Dec 3, 2018)
    https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20181203-maliki-iraq-will-not-allow-its-territories-to-be-used-to-target-iran/

“Former Iraqi prime minister Nouri Al-Maliki said his country will not allow its territory to be used to target Iran.

In an interview with National Iranian Radio and Television, Al-Maliki said that Iraq “will not be a member of any alliance formed by the United States and Saudi Arabia against Iran”.

“Iraq will not be part of a coalition led by a state that supports Daesh like Saudi Arabia, which brought war and destruction to Iraq,” Al-Maliki said stressing that the US wants Iraq to join the alliance led by Saudi Arabia.

Former Iraqi interior minister Baqir Al-Zubaidi warned in a statement last month of what he called “the threat of the Arab alliance” which Saudi Arabia is calling for.

“The previous warnings about the existence of a threat to Iraq, Syria and some countries by the so-called Arab alliance, which was formed with US support to implement a new aggression against some countries in the region … has begun to show its features,” he said.”

“Iran’s test of a medium-range ballistic missile capable of carrying multiple warheads is a provocative and destabilising act, France’s foreign ministry said on Monday. “France is concerned about Iran’s mid-range ballistic missile test last Saturday. It condemns this provocative and destabilising action,” Ministry spokeswoman Agnes von der Muhll said in a statement…”

“Turkey should not aim to make all Turkish researchers abroad return home, according to an award-winning scientist who has been living abroad for some time.

“We don’t need to get everyone back; we need to keep some at top places around the world,” says Dr Metin Sitti, commenting on the government’s recent initiatives to reverse the brain drain.

  10. Khashoggi funded cyber army against Saudi Arabia’s ‘beast’, Whatsapp messages show (hurriyetdailynews, Dec 3, 2018)
    http://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/khashoggi-funded-cyber-army-against-saudi-arabias-beast-whatsapp-messages-show-139390

“The slain journalist Jamal Khashoggi was funding an “electronic army” to fight with Saudi state propaganda, while describing Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman as a “beast,” according to his private Whatsapp messages published by CNN International.

CNN reported Dec. 3 that it has been granted exclusive access to the correspondence between Khashoggi and Montreal-based activist Omar Abdulaziz, before the journalist was killed in Saudi Arabia’s consulate in Istanbul on Oct. 2.

The 400 Whatsapp messages shared by Abdulaziz, which include voice recordings, photos and videos, paint a picture of a man deeply troubled by what he regarded as the petulance of his kingdom’s powerful young prince, also known as MBS.

“The more victims he eats, the more he wants,” says Khashoggi in one message sent in May, just after a group of Saudi activists had been rounded up. “I will not be surprised if the oppression will reach even those who are cheering him on.”

The exchanges reveal a progression from talk to action — the pair had begun planning an online youth movement that would hold the Saudi state to account. “[Jamal] believed that MBS is the issue, is the problem and he said this kid should be stopped,” Abdulaziz said in an interview with CNN.

But in August, when he believed their conversations may have been intercepted by Saudi authorities, a sense of foreboding descends over Khashoggi. “God help us,” he wrote.

Two months later, he was dead…”

  11. Kosovo to form army on Dec. 14, says parliament chief (AA, Dec 3, 2018)
    https://www.aa.com.tr/en/europe/kosovo-to-form-army-on-dec-14-says-parliament-chief/1328569

“The national army of Kosovo will be officially established on Dec. 14, head of the country’s parliament said on Monday.

“We will officially have an army of Kosovo on Dec. 14, which is the date when the Kosovo Assembly will vote on the proposals of the law on the transformation of the security forces into the army,” Kadri Veselji said at a news conference.

In October, the Kosova’s parliament voted in support of establishing a 5,000-strong national army. However, Serb minority representatives opposed the move, declaring it “illegal”.

Kosovo is a former Serbian province that unilaterally declared independence, but Belgrade insists the country remains part of Serbia.

Since then, tensions have remained between Kosovo’s ethnic-Albanian majority and a small Serb minority in the north.

Responding to the announcement, Serbian director of the Office for Kosovo said that the formation of Kosovo army is the “biggest threat to peace and security in the Balkans.”

“The establishment of this illegal formation would jeopardize everything that has so far been achieved in the process of normalizing Belgrade-Pristina relations,” Marko Djuric said in a statement.

He assessed that such a formation would contribute to “deepening the inter-ethnic distance in the region.””

  12. Muslims sue Nigerian premier varsity over hijab (AA, Dec 3, 2018)
    https://www.aa.com.tr/en/africa/muslims-sue-nigerian-premier-varsity-over-hijab-/1328671

“Muslim parents on Monday sued Nigeria’s premier university of Ibadan after a school owned by the varsity barred 11 Muslim girls from wearing their religious head covering in their classrooms.

The case was filed following weeks of controversy on the Muslim girls’ head covering in the International School Ibadan (ISI) in the southwest Oyo state, resulting in temporary closure of the school and counter protests.

Instituted by the ISI Muslim Parents Forum, the Muslims are asking the court to declare the action of the school “a violation of the (students’) rights to freedom of thought, conscience and religion, freedom from discrimination… and right to education as guaranteed by the constitution of Nigeria.”

The court will hear the case on Dec. 21.

The latest hijab controversy comes weeks after Nigeria’s Lagos government officially endorsed its use across schools.

The Lagos decision came two years after appeals court struck down an official memo restricting the use of the head covering, declaring it unconstitutional and violation of rights to religious freedom.

Headscarves have increasingly become a symbol of Muslims’ rejection of the British colonial legacies in Nigerian public life.

In 2017, a Muslim female law graduate was barred from a call to bar event in the capital Abuja for wearing a headscarf that drew anger from the Muslim community.

Barrister Firdaus Amasa was later called to the bar with her headscarf after the country’s council on legal education backed down.”

  13. Turkey, Venezuela making efforts to boost ties: Erdogan (AA, Dec 3, 2018)
    https://www.aa.com.tr/en/americas/turkey-venezuela-making-efforts-to-boost-ties-erdogan-/1328610

“Ankara and Caracas have been making efforts to strengthen cooperation in all areas, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday.

“There are solid ties in friendship and solidarity between our countries. We have strong potentials in our economic relations with Venezuela.

“We are making efforts to diversify and deepen cooperation with Venezuela in every field through win-win understanding,” Erdogan said, while speaking at the Turkey-Venezuela Business Forum alongside his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro in the capital Caracas.

Erdogan said geographic distance between Turkey and Venezuela should not be seen as “obstacle” to strengthen bilateral ties and cooperation.

He said the trade volume between the two countries has exceeded $1billion in the first nine months of 2018.

“We need to increase Turkey’s exports to Venezuela and we need to make our trade more stable and more sustainable,” Erdogan added.

He called on businesspeople to launch projects and make cooperation to develop bilateral economic relations.

Erdogan also said Turkey’s economy has shown “strong” performance despite prevention efforts and attacks against it.

About assassination attempt on Maduro, Erdogan said the attempt was a “dastardly attack” on both the president and Venezuelan people’s “will for independence.”

On Aug. 5, explosive drones went off when Maduro was giving a speech in Caracas. He blamed the far-right wing factions for the attack, saying the perpetrators were linked to Colombia and the U.S.

Erdogan said he was honored to pay Turkey’s first presidential visit to Venezuela.

He said Turkey sees Venezuela as a partner in Latin America and Caribbean, and attaches great importance to cooperation and friendship.

For his part, Maduro called on the two countries to strengthen economy, create wealth and invest within the framework of Erdogan’s visit.

“Turkey, with its extraordinary history and eagerness to work, is a country that contributes to the history of mankind,” he said.

Maduro also invite Turkish businesspeople to invest in Venezuela.

Erdogan and Maduro will hold bilateral meetings and later the leaders will hold a joint news conference after signing several deals.

Earlier on Monday, Erdogan also visited Simon Bolivar Mausoleum.”

  14. Aquarius migrant rescue ship denied Swiss flag (thelocal, Dec 3, 2018)
    https://www.thelocal.ch/20181203/no-swiss-flag-for-aquarius-migrant-rescue-ship-msf-refugees

“Switzerland’s government on Monday rejected a parliamentary proposal that would have seen the MV Aquarius 2 migrant rescue ship sail under the Swiss flag.

The vessel is idled in the French port of Marseille until further notice while its operators – the NGOs SOS Méditerranée and Doctors Without Borders (MSF) – desperately try and clarify its flag notice so that it can resume rescue operations.

The Aquarius had first been flying the flag of Gibraltar and then that of Panama but in September the Central American country’s maritime agency said it would remove the vessel from its registry – a moved SOS Méditerranée said was the result of political pressure from Italy.

But hopes that Switzerland could provide a lasting solution to the ships’ flag problem have been dashed after the Swiss Federal Council, the country’s executive, on Monday rejected a proposal that would have seen the Aquarius registered in Switzerland.

Responding to the proposal put forward by Greens MP Aline Trede with support of colleagues from the Socialists, the Christian Democrats and the Liberals, the Federal Council said it saw no legal obstacle to registering the ship in Switzerland.

But the Swiss executive said migrant rescues in the Mediterranean needed a coordinated and long-term approach. Ad-hoc negotiations for every ship that sailed around with migrants on board did not make sense, the Federal Council argued.

Instead, what was needed was a coordinated European effort based on marine rescue rules, safe disembarkation points and a mechanism for the sharing out of refugees.

The government said this was not currently the case and that individual actions carried out by ships like the Aquarius threatened to undermine international cooperation.

For this reason the ship would not be registered in Switzerland.

The Aquarius was at the heart of a diplomatic dispute between Italy and its neighbours earlier this year, when both Italy and Malta refused to allow it to dock with more than 600 rescued people aboard. The ship remained stranded at sea for over a day until Spain eventually offered it safe harbour.

In November, prosecutors in Sicily ordered the seizure of the Aquarius to investigate allegations that MSF illegally dumped potentially hazardous waste at Italian ports.

The order means that if the Aquarius were to return to Italian waters it could be seized.

MSF have strenuously denied the prosecutors’ allegations which it called the “umpteenth trumped-up attack [on the part of Italian authorities] to block MSF’s life-saving activities at sea”.”

  15. Teenager shot at Malmö pizzeria (thelocal, Dec 3, 2018)
    https://www.thelocal.se/20181203/teenager-shot-at-malmo-pizzeria-on-sunday-evening

“A 16-year-old boy was shot and injured in a pizzeria in Malmö on Sunday evening, the second shooting in six months to hit the central district of Värnhem.

At least four shots were fired through a window into the fast food restaurant shortly after 8pm, when several other customers were present either eating or picking up takeaways.

“We were rung by several people reporting loud bangs and immediately dispatched officers. We then heard that there was an injured person and found a man at the pizzeria,” police control room officer Richard Lundqvist told Sydsvenskan.

A witness told the newspaper that they saw a black car with its lights off waiting in a neighbouring street minutes before the shooting…”

    • A 16-year-old boy was shot and injured in a pizzeria in Malmö on Sunday evening, the second shooting in six months to hit the central district of Värnhem.

It’s astonishing that the assailants used a gun. With things getting so stabby of late, what more ideal place for a knife crime than in a pizzeria? After all, everything there is already by the slice.

  16. Germany: Students and teachers rally against AfD in Hamburg

Around 1,000 people protested in Hamburg on Monday against what they claim is the infiltration of right-wing populism in the education system.

The protest was sparked by an online portal set up by the AfD called ‘Neutral Schools’, where students and parents are encouraged to report teachers who discuss political views.

The project has so far been launched in Hamburg, with plans to see it across the rest of the country. The website offers a platform for students to leave anonymous complaints about professors they consider to be breaking rules of ‘neutrality’, and for sharing critical opinions about the AfD.

The protest was organised by the Trade Union Education and Science (GEW), the Hamburg Chamber of Students (SKH), the Hamburg Chamber of Teachers and the German Trade Union Confederation (DGB) and follows months of letters sent by teachers’ associations to the Hamburg state government.

  17. Germany: Anti-migrant protest as rape case rocks Koenigs Wusterhausen

Around 300 people participated in two right-wing demonstrations against German refugee policy in Koenigs Wusterhausen near Berlin on Monday.

“We demonstrate here today, because we don’t want to and we will not get used to daily incidents, because we live in a spirit of a community and care about what happens to our countrymen,” said the organiser of one of the two rallies, Christoph Berndt from the German right-wing association ‘Zukunft Heimat,’ while addressing the crowd.

“We are not ready to accept to have victims of permanent abuses, rapes, and murders as collateral damage of a dangerous social experiment,” he added, referring to the current migration policy of the German government.

At the same time, several counter-protesters gathered nearby, chanting “there is no right to Nazi propaganda.” Police separated them from the rally participants.

The right-wing demonstrations took place after last Tuesday’s alleged rape when two Afghan refugees are said to have dragged a schoolgirl into a public toilet and sexually abused her.

The German public prosecutor’s office has since dropped the investigation, saying the accuser’s claims could not be substantiated.
