Militant vegans herded out of Brazilian restaurant like cattle: Links 1, December 2, 2018

1. Just one of a hundred videos of the state of France. Please do check all the videos posted by our readers in the Reader’s Links post for the past two or three days.

2. UN Watch makes a salient point:

3. Jail, fine for violators of Umrah regulations

RIYADH — Citizens and expatriates who are found transporting, employing, sheltering or providing cover-up to any overstaying Umrah pilgrim will be imprisoned and fined, Director of Public Relations and Information Administration at the Directorate General of Passports (Jawazat) Brig. Gen. Muhammad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saad reiterated on Sunday.

During the launch of the Passport Department’s annual awareness campaign on the Umrah season, Saad said that expatriates violating Umrah regulations will be deported after serving imprisonment and paying fines.

The penalties are multiplied if the number of violators are more than one.

The Umrah regulation awareness campaign will continue from Sunday (Dec. 2, 2018) to June 18, 2019.

It aims to acquaint Umrah pilgrims coming from abroad with the Kingdom’s regulations, which do not allow them to overstay their visas.

(So, that would mean no sanctuary cities then?)

4. Nearly four out of five French don’t want more immigrants.

(And just over one out of five French is a communist or from somewhere else)

5. PM Netanyahu Shoots Down Media’s Reporting of Antisemitism in Europe

(Really they should have said Hungary)

Israeli PM Netanyahu made a very important clarification about antisemitism in Europe when he responded to a recent question about the media’s reporting of Hungary as a fascist and antisemitic government. This is in response to today’s reality where many who call the Hungarian government antisemitic and fascist for pushing a law against George Soros and forbidding entry of Muslim migrants into Hungary.

PM Netanyahu made clear that he judges governments based on their actions. In response to the question about Hungary being called a fascist government by the mainstream media, Netanyahu made clear that the current Hungarian government is an active partner against antisemitism. He mentioned that Hungary’s current leader Viktor Orban recently called out the fascist parties in Hungary and set up a center against antisemitism in Hungary. He also mentioned similar actions of Sebastian Kurz, the Chancellor of Austria. Netanyahu clarified for the audience of journalists that he judges governments based on their actions, and that these current Eastern European governments are not antisemitic.

On the other hand, Netanyahu made clear that “antiZionism today is modern antisemitism”. This is a clear call for all countries around the world, including East & West European countries, to not just call out the antisemitism of the right but also to call out the antisemitism of the left. They disguise their Jew-hatred as antiZionism but they are today’s modern antisemites.
(It should be added that Hungary is, I think the only country in the world where Synagogues neither have, nor more importantly need, any security.)

6Witzenhausen, Germany: Muslim attacks Christmas market visitors with a hatchet

Yesterday evening, a 38-year-old foreign citizen from Bornhagen was arrested at the Christmas market in Witzenhausen who threatened visitors to the Christmas market with an axe. At 8:30 p.m. several calls were received by the police, according to which the suspect, with his arm raised and his hatchet in his hand, ran from the pedestrian zone towards the Christmas market. There he “waved” with his hatchet and shouted “Allahu Akkbar” several times, threatening several visitors of the market.

7. Vegan activists storm steakhouse, are mocked by patrons mooing at them

This is the moment angry vegans stormed a Brazilian restaurant and played recordings of cows being slaughtered as diners tucked into their steaks.

The gang, from Direct Action Everywhere, flashed anti-meat eating signs with “It’s not food, it’s violence” emblazoned on them and barked out a speech at the Touro Steakhouse in Brighton, England.

[…]

But as a spokeswoman attempts to give a speech about the benefits of veganism, patrons can be heard mocking her with one mimicking a cow mooing while waiters can be seen arguing with the protesters.

Thank you Xanthippa, Wrath of Khan, Richard, Johnny U., EB., C., and so many who have been fantastic contributors to this site, both new and long-time supporters.

There have been some changes behind the scenes here at Vlad, which have been time consuming. Mostly technical, software and so on, but at the end of the day, once all the dust settles, we should be able to produce even more videos, better and faster.

Clearly, there is, and will be a growing need to be able to do this. There was some expenses associated with these changes, but also some reductions in long term costs. So over the course of a year or two, all costs should be recouped just by what I don’t spend on licence fees for software! So that’s a big yeay!

All this is to say that for a week or three, I have not been able to post quite as much on the site as I usually do, but as always, site contributors have been fantastic about posting important news and analysis in the Daily Reader’s Links posts.

Also, when it comes to posting new content such as original footage such as was shot and submitted by Tania at For Freedom today, or a subtitled news video that the Anglosphere would not otherwise have access to, it seems that the time and effort should go into that, as the news links are available to all in the comments. Win-win.

Thank you all again for your continued support and thoughts as another year draws to a close. The situation for Western thought and systems is not good. But the community that has formed around this site, makes It considerably easier to maintain the right morale to push on and keep fighting.

  1. Paris is burning and we don’t know who in the Yellow Vests is behind the attacks, is it antifa? Far Right people we haven’t heard about? Ordinary people who have had enough?

Feel Free to add any other group you can think of.

Leaderless revolutions have happened throughout history some turn out good (the US revolution) some end up turning very bad (The French Revolution with the Terror followed by the Emperor Napoleon). If this is the beginning of a leaderless revolution the people who have been working for a Free France need to start building the power structure so they can take control of the revolution. If on the other hand this is being done by antifa and the other far left groups it is way too late for the people wanting a Free France to do anything but run for shelter.

We will have to wait and see what happens next.

PS: Given what has been happening in France over the past two weeks the snipers (yes there was more then one team) on the roof tops is no surprise.

That all of this was settled peacefully is something that I find very moooooooving.

Strangely enough, news accounts detail how the entire situation attracted enough gawkers and lookie-loos to the point where law enforcement officers at the scene finally were obliged to tell everybody, “Nothing to see here, folks. Now mooooooove along…”

    • Cattle and Vegans have a 2 things in common 1) They both eat only veggies, 2) they both spread a lot of BS.
