“This isn’t the first time MI5 has taken over, they’ve done it while investigating counter-subversion” says Annie Machon after far-right extremism is to be handled by MI5 instead of the police.

How many weapons were fired was unclear, and 13 people were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and aggravated assault, police said.

Former President Barack Obama has had a hard time staying focused on the campaign trail lately.

While stumping in Miami, Florida, with Sen. Bill Nelson, D-FL, and Florida Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum, the former president tried his best to deliver a home run speech before Tuesday’s midterm elections.

  6. FEATURED: Jamal Khashoggi Was Working Together With US CAIR Leader Nihad Awad 0
By gmbwatch on October 22, 2018 Daily Featured
Kurdish media has dropped a bit of a bombshell, revealing in an interview with US Muslim Brotherhood leader Nihad Awad that Awad was working together with Jamal Khashoggi’s on the late Khashoggi’s “Islamic Democracy” promotion project. This cooperation suggests that Khashoggi was closer to the US Muslim Brotherhood and to Hamas activists than previously known. According a report by the Kurdish news portal RUDAW:

  7. Dozens of American spies were killed in Iran and China after a flawed communications service that allowed foreign foes to see what the agents were up to using Google, official sources have claimed.

Between 2009 and 2013 the US Central Intelligence Agency suffered a “catastrophic” secret communications failure in a website used by officers and their field agents around the world to speak to each other, according to a report in Yahoo News, which heard from 11 former intelligence and government officials about the previously unreported disaster.

“We’re still dealing with the fallout,” said one former national security official. “Dozens of people around the world were killed because of this.”

The internet-based communications platform was first used in the Middle East to communicate with soldiers in war zones and had not been intended for widespread use but due to its ease of use and efficacy, it was adopted by agents despite its lack of sophistication, the sources claimed.

According to the 414-page report released by Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, investigators interviewed more than 40 people, monitored social media and news reports and reviewed evidence provided by the judge and his accusers.

“Following the separate and extensive investigations by both the Committee and the FBI, there was no evidence to substantiate any of the claims of sexual assault made against Justice Kavanaugh,” the report states.

  9. As the saying goes, “There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics.” We know that’s true because statisticians themselves just said so.

A stunning report published in the Annals of Internal Medicine concludes that researchers often make “inappropriate requests” to statisticians. And by “inappropriate,” the authors aren’t referring to accidental requests for incorrect statistical analyses; instead, they’re referring to requests for unscrupulous data manipulation or even fraud.

The authors surveyed 522 consulting biostatisticians and received sufficient responses from 390. Then, they constructed a table (shown below) that ranks requests by level of inappropriateness. For instance, at the very top is “falsify the statistical significance to support a desired result,” which is outright fraud. At the bottom is “do not show plot because it did not show as strong an effect as you had hoped,” which is only slightly naughty.

  10. Exclusive – Demand for US Troop Withdrawal Raises Eyebrows in Iraq (aawsat, Nov 4, 2018)
    https://aawsat.com/english/home/article/1449226/exclusive-demand-us-troop-withdrawal-raises-eyebrows-iraq

“No sooner had the new Iraqi parliament convened in its first session in mid-September that some members sought to veer discussions towards the issue of foreign troops, mostly Americans, in Iraq. The parliament saw the lights after months of political wrangling and amid angry popular protests calling for reform and combating corruption.

At such time of tumult, the demand by some MPs to reconsider foreign troop presence has raised a few eyebrows. The presence of those troops is not a new issue, but it was proposed out of context of the parliament’s session. At least its timing was off. The government, which is responsible for tackling this issue, had not even been formed yet. Moreover, the suggestion was made at a time when ISIS was regrouping and resuming its terrorist activity in several Iraqi regions.

The new call for foreign troop withdrawal was made on behalf of Iran on the eve of US sanctions taking effect on the country, noted observers.

In March, parliament referred to the government of former Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi a timetable for the withdrawal of foreign troops. The government, however, took no heed of the request, because it realized that the time was not appropriate to take such a drastic step given the ongoing instability in the country. Iraqi troops were also unprepared to solely lead the fight against ISIS, which had depleted a lot of its power over the past three years. The forces would not have emerged victorious in their offensive against the terrorist group had they not enjoyed the backing of the international coalition that is combating ISIS.

In addition, the United States and Iraq signed an agreement in 2008, which was renewed in early 2018, in which Washington, and other members of the coalition, are obligated to provide military, security, political and economic support for Iraq. This includes combating ISIS and helping reconstruct regions damaged during the war against the group.

It would not be in Iraq’s interest for foreign troops to withdraw from the country, especially as ISIS has renewed it activity despite the declared victory against it in late 2017. The group has carried out attacks against Iraqi security forces and the military, as well as civilians, in vast areas of the country, such as Diyala in the east and al-Anbar and Nineveh in the West.

Furthermore, ISIS has reared its head towards Iraq from neighboring Syria where it has recaptured areas from the Syrian Democratic Forces. Security experts have estimated that some 3,000 ISIS members, including 800 Iraqis, are deployed in Syria’s border Hajin region alone. These fighters are prepared to exploit any oversight to infiltrate Iraqi territory.

The Iraqi defense ministry confirmed this information, saying that ISIS was trying to enter Iraq through Syria after its capture of two towns east of Deir Ezzour.

On the social level, Iraq has not been successful in its battle against ISIS. In fact, the group still finds safe havens in western regions and others stretching towards Baghdad. It has benefited from the state’s shortcomings in reconstructing regions damaged in the war and providing basic services to the millions of displaced. Moreover, residents in areas that were liberated from ISIS still complain of poor treatment by security forces. The higher human rights commission, an independent body overseen by the parliament, verified these complaints and found them valid.

The demand for the withdrawal of foreign troops in Iraq is reminiscent of the actions of former Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s government in 2011. At the time, it was impatient in ending the deployment of tens of thousands of US troops under the pretext that it was securing Iraq’s sovereignty and independence. The government failed to ensure that the Iraqi forces that were set to replace the foreign troops were competent enough to confront the terrorist threat.

As it turned out, they were not. Less than two-and-a-half years after the American troop withdrawal, a third of Iraq fell in the hands of ISIS. The defeat of the terror group needed a three-year war at a massive financial and human cost, and some regions are still living under ISIS threat.

Perhaps the pro-Iran blocs in parliament sought to use the foreign troop withdrawal issue to force the US to ease the sanctions against Tehran. Iran, however, will not benefit much financially from the American withdrawal from Iraq. The US will not lose much if it found itself in a position where it needed to reconsider its deployment and withdraw troops as it did in 2011. Iraq will be the greatest loser of the withdrawal, which will have dire repercussions on the country.”

  11. ‘Black Widow’ Applies for Asylum in Belgium (aawsat, Nov 4, 2018)
    https://aawsat.com/english/home/article/1449116/%E2%80%98black-widow%E2%80%99-applies-asylum-belgium

“Malika El Aroud, who lost her Belgian nationality last year after being convicted of terrorism, tried to avoid deportation by applying for political asylum in Belgium, according to La Libre Belgique website.

Media in Brussels reported that she is housed in a closed center in Bruges before being deported.

Aroud, aka the “Black Widow,” lost her Belgian nationality in November 2017, after serving an eight-year prison sentence for acts of terrorism.

She was married to two al-Qaeda militants, who died during armed clashes.

It was judged that she had “seriously failed in her obligations as a Belgian citizen.”

The woman was left with only Moroccan nationality and therefore risked being deported. She was arrested in her house on October 11 this year.

To avoid deportation, Aroud started an urgent procedure before the Foreigner’s Litigation Council (CCE).

She said she risks torture and inhumane and degrading treatment in Morocco. Therefore, she submitted an asylum application.

This week, the CCE rejected the emergency procedure. The Council said it cannot examine her application while her asylum application is still pending.

Only when it is rejected – which is likely – the RVV will be able to proceed with her application. Aroud remains in Bruges in anticipation.

Her first husband died in Afghanistan in 2000 in a suicide attack, and her second husband fled a prison sentence in Belgium to the border area between Pakistan and Afghanistan, but died there in 2012 in a US air raid.

Aroud has twice been convicted for terrorist-related offenses. She and her late husband set up a website to recruit young men to go and fight alongside the Taliban in Afghanistan.”

  12. Baghdad rejects US interference in its affairs after embassy Twitter comments (mee, Nov 4, 2018)
    https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/baghdad-rejects-us-interference-its-affairs-after-embassy-twitter-comments-1393746347

“The Iraqi Foreign Ministry on Saturday rejected what it called interference in its affairs after the US embassy issued a statement telling neighbouring Iran to respect Iraq’s sovereignty and allow demobilisation of Shia militias.

The US embassy in Baghdad had posted a message on Twitter on Tuesday saying Tehran must “respect the sovereignty of the Iraqi government and permit the disarming, demobilization, and reintegration” of Shia militias, AFP said.

It was one of several statements issued on the embassy’s Twitter account outlining US demands before new sanctions on Iran’s oil and financial sector take effect on 4 November. The sanctions worry Iraq as it imports crucial supplies from Iran.

Iraqi foreign ministry spokesman Ahmed Mahjoub said that the tweet from the US embassy went “beyond diplomatic norms and mutual respect for the sovereignty of states,” Xinhua reported.

“Iraq rejects interference in its internal issues, especially issues of internal security reform and the status of Iraqi security forces,” Mahjoub added, in demanding that the US delete the tweet.

Washington and Tehran have competed for influence in Iraq since the 2003 US invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein.

Iraq’s Shia militias, which took part in a US-backed campaign to defeat the Islamic State group, were formally included in the security forces this year. Some militias are backed by Iran, a majority Shia nation. Washington wants them disarmed.

The United States said it would grant Baghdad a waiver on Iranian gas and energy imports that feed Iraqi power stations and vital food items, Iraqi officials said on Friday.

Three Iraqi officials said on Friday that the US had informed Baghdad it will be allowed to keep importing crucial gas, energy supplies and food items from Iran after Washington reimposes sanctions on Tehran’s oil sector on Monday, according to Reuters.

The waiver is conditional on Iraq not paying Iran for the imports in US dollars, said the officials, including a member of Iraq’s ministerial committee that oversees energy activities.

Iraq is among eight Iranian oil importers expected to receive waivers to bypass the forthcoming sanctions.”

  13. Erdogan says other countries cannot extract gas in Turkish, Northern Cyprus waters (memo, Nov 4, 2018)
    https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20181104-erdogan-says-other-countries-cannot-extract-gas-in-turkish-northern-cyprus-waters/

“Turkey will not allow the exploitation of gas reserves in Turkish and north Cypriot waters of the eastern Mediterranean, President Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday according to a Reuters report.

The eastern Mediterranean is believed to be rich in natural gas, and attempts to tap resources there have revived tensions between Turkey and Greece, which has a defence protection pact with the internationally recognised Greek Cypriot government.

Turkey and Cyprus have overlapping claims of marine jurisdiction and both plan to carry out exploratory drills this year. Ankara only has diplomatic relations with a breakaway Turkish Cypriot state in the north of the island that is not recognised by other countries.

Speaking at a ceremony to mark the delivery of a naval corvette and submarine, Erdogan said countries that thought they could operate in the east Mediterranean or Aegean seas without Ankara’s agreement were mistaken.

“We will not accept attempts to extract natural resources in our country, Cyprus or in the eastern Mediterranean,” Erdogan said.

Last month Turkey complained that a Greek frigate had harassed a Turkish exploration ship west of Cyprus. Greece denied the charge and Cyprus accused Turkey of stirring up tensions.

Breakaway north Cyprus, which is supported by Ankara, says any offshore wealth also belongs to its citizens, as partners in the establishment of the Cyprus republic in 1960.

The island was split in 1974 after a Turkish invasion triggered by a brief Greek-inspired coup.”

  14. West plotting against Turkey: Qaradawi (memo, Nov 4, 2018)
    https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20181104-west-plotting-against-turkey-qaradawi/

“Prominent Muslim scholar Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi has accused the West of plotting against Turkey to derail its advancement.

“Turkey is facing plots by those who don’t like to see this nation [rising] and by the West,” al-Qaradawi, the chairman of the International Union for Muslim Scholars (IUMS), told the opening session of the IUMS’s general assembly in Istanbul on Saturday.

“They would have succeeded [in their plots] but for Allah’s support for President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his brothers,” he said, adding:

Allah will help Erdogan to emerge victorious as long as true Muslims are standing by him

The IUMS chairman said the Islamic world has gone through many calamities.

“The Turks have been fought against because they defended the Islamic nation,” he said, going on to hail major developments in Turkey under Erdogan’s leadership.

Bringing together more than 1,500 scholars from around the world, the IUMS’s general assembly will continue until Thursday.

Election will be held during the meeting to elect a new IUMS chairman, secretary-general and his deputies and board members.

Al-Qaradawi also commented on the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi inside his country’s consulate in Istanbul.

“Khashoggi said he was not an opposition figure, but they [Saudis] didn’t accept that and killed him,” he said.

“Khashoggi was afraid to be jailed when he entered the consulate, but he did not think that there were people who would kill him and they indeed killed him,” he lamented.”

Please watch the following short, five-minute, and fascinating clip to see al-Qaradawi actually tell the truth. 15. Kuwait seeking repatriation of extremists (gulfnews, Nov 4, 2018)
    https://gulfnews.com/news/gulf/kuwait/kuwait-seeking-repatriation-of-extremists-1.2297689

“Kuwaiti security authorities are working on repatriating 12 Kuwaitis involved in the fighting in Syria and bringing them to justice.

“Most of the 12 Kuwaitis are members of Hayat Tahrir Al Sham, an extremist alliance headed by Abu Mohammad Al Jolani, formerly known as the Nusra Front. They are mainly in Idlib while some of them are in the province of Aleppo,” Kuwaiti daily Al Rai reported, citing a security source.

“Among the fighters, there is a former imam who had joined Al Qaida and then the Nusra Front, where he became one of its five religious officials. However, he later dissented and attacked Al Jolani.”

Another fighter was a religious official in the Tahrir Al Sham Commission and was close to Al Jolani. He also fought in Afghanistan, the source added.

“However, this fighter had a standoff with Abu Al Fath Al Farghali, a leader within the Egyptian wing at the commission, over the withdrawal from Idlib under an agreement between Turkey and Russia. He is still in contact with a number of figures affiliated with the extremists in Kuwait, including former convicts in the case of the Peninsula Lions, the organisation that staged several attacks in Kuwait in 2005.”

The other Kuwaitis are not considered among group leaders and they are focussed on religious calls, exerting efforts to resolve differences between the fighting groups in Syria. They have not engaged in armed actions.

None of the 12 Kuwaitis is affiliated with Daesh, the source added.

Kuwaiti authorities have carried out several arrests of suspects linked to extremist and terrorist groups.

In June 2015, a terrorist attack by a suicide bomber targeted Imam Sadiq Mosque in the capital, leaving 27 dead and 227 injured.

According to US reports, the Kuwaiti government has disrupted several terrorist plots and expanded its efforts to counter violent extremism. It also expanded its capacity to counter the financing of terrorism, imposing additional scrutiny on charitable organisations’ financial transactions.”

  16. There is no discrimination between Muslims and Christians in Egypt: President Sisi (ahram, Nov 4, 2018)
    http://english.ahram.org.eg/NewsContent/1/64/315703/Egypt/Politics-/There-is-no-discrimination-between-Muslims-and-Chr.aspx

“Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi said on Sunday at the World Youth Forum in Sharm El-Sheikh that there is no discrimination between Muslims and Christians in Egypt.

“We in Egypt do not discriminate, we do not say ‘this is a Muslim and this is a Christian’; we say we are Egyptians,” the president said in a speech.

On Friday, gunmen opened fire on a bus carrying Coptic Christians on their way back from visiting a monastery in Minya, leaving seven dead and at least 10 injured.

El-Sisi said that the terrorist attack has “saddened the hearts of all Egyptians.”

The president also highlighted the importance of “reforming religious discourse,” which he said “is one of the most important demands of Egypt and the world.”

El-Sisi also highlighted that Egypt passed a long-awaited law in 2016 easing regulations on building churches, and stressed the importance of freedom of belief for all citizens in Egypt.

“The country has been keen on building churches in new and old cities, and even [places of worship] for other religions, for Jewish citizens,” he said.

“A citizen is free to worship or not worship; everyone is free, and the state does not interfere in this.””

  17. Germany ex-spy chief Maassen may be fired for insults (DW, Nov 4, 2018)
    https://www.dw.com/en/germany-ex-spy-chief-maassen-may-be-fired-for-insults/a-46151500

“Maassen reportedly heavily criticized the government to other European security chiefs in his farewell speech. Interior Minister Horst Seehofer, who backed Maassen in other controversies, has declined to do so this time.

Germany’s controversial former domestic intelligence chief Hans-Georg Maassen looked likely to finally be getting the boot from government on Sunday. The Interior Ministry confirmed that it is reviewing Maassen’s employment after more of his controversial statements came to light.

Maassen, who headed Germany’s domestic security service (the BfV) for six years, became the subject of outrage across Germany in September when he questioned well-documented reports of far-right violence against foreigners in the city of Chemnitz and gave no reason for his comments.

There have also been reports that he passed sensitive information about Islamic extremism to the Islamophobic Alternative for Germany (AfD) party.

Maassen faces the ax for insulting grand coalition

Despite the uproar, Maassen’s boss, conservative Interior Minister Horst Seehofer, continued to back him. An initial compromise between Chancellor Angela Merkel’s Christian Democrats (CDU) and coalition partners the Social Democrats (SPD) would have seen Maassen relieved of duty at the BfV but essentially promoted to deputy interior minister.

What finally may get Maassen fired has nothing to do with the far-right, and everything to do with how the 55-year-old spoke of the ruling CDU-SPD grand coalition in his farewell speech as BfV chief in front of European counterparts in October.

While the Interior Ministry has not made the contents of Maassen’s remarks public, he reportedly spoke derisively of Merkel’s administration in front of the group of European security leaders.

Even his former champion Horst Seehofer did not directly back him this time, telling reporters in Munich on Sunday that he could not comment on the matter yet. He will reportedly make a decision on Maassen’s future when he gets the finished report on the incident at the end of the week.

Maassen has been no stranger to controversy throughout his career, notably being accused in 2013 of having transferred all BfV data to the US National Security Agency.”

  18. Germany’s armed forces continue to train Saudi military officers (DW, Nov 4, 2018)
    https://www.dw.com/en/germanys-armed-forces-continue-to-train-saudi-military-officers/a-46152445

“Germany’s armed forces will continue a program to educate Saudi military officers. This comes despite a rift developing after the killing in Turkey of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and a call to end German arms exports.

Germany’s Bundeswehr is still training Saudi troops despite the diplomatic fallout from the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in Turkey, authorities confirmed on Sunday.

Seven Saudi officer candidates are being trained at the Bundeswehr Leadership Academy in Hamburg, weekend newspaper Welt am Sonntag reported.

The soldiers are reportedly studying German as a prerequisite for beginning lengthy officer training in Germany in 2019.

The training will be continued as planned “subject to other political decisions”, a spokesman for the ministry told the outlet. German news agency DPA separately confirmed the reports.

The officers are here under a program agreed in 2016, in which Saudi Arabia bears the costs of training a handful of troops in Germany each year at military universities.

Relations between Saudi Arabia and Germany took a dive after Khahoggi went missing at the Saudi embassy in Istanbul last month. It later emerged that he had been murdered, allegedly at the hands of state actors.

Germany halted its controversial weapons exports program to Saudi until the matter was cleared up. It has long faced criticism for its relations with Riyadh which has been leading a ruthless military campaign in Yemen.”

  20. ‘SHOCKING’ Disrespectful vandals DESTROY First World War memorials in sickening attacks (express, Nov 4, 2018)
    https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1040817/remembrance-day-2018-first-world-war-memorial-silent-silhouettes-devon

“VETERANS have been left saddened and shocked after dozens of life-size ‘Silent Silhouettes’, honouring fallen World War 1 heroes, have been destroyed and defaced across the UK by disrespectful vandals.

Thugs snapped one statue in half, vandalised five others and stole a seventh during a series of horrifying attacks in Devon.

One statue was defaced in Southampton and another had its head ripped off in Ross-on-Wye.

While vandals in Lincolnshire ripped off a rifle attached to a silhouette.

The ‘Silent Silhouettes’ were designed by the Royal British Legion and placed across the UK as a reminder of the sacrifices made during World War 1.

They are usually seen fixed on buildings and installed in gardens, fields and roundabouts.

A spokeswoman for The Royal British Legion said: “The Legion’s Silent Soldiers offer communities a way to commemorate not only those members of the Armed Forces who died in the First World War, but all those who came home, often with physical and mental scars, to rebuild the nation we have today.

“It is sad and shocking to see any of the figures vandalised, and we are thankful to the communities who have donated their time and funds to restore them.”

People up and down the country have pulled together following the attacks.

Teenagers in Axminster, Devon, repaired one of the ‘Silent Silhouettes’ in their school workshop.

They also did a reading in tribute to the fallen troops during a public ceremony.

As they laid a wreath next to the restored silhouette one pupil said: “We are here today to show you that we as young people do care.

“We care about the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who fought for our country.”

Another pupil said: “We were appalled to hear from our headteacher that some young people had damaged Tommy.

“We wanted to do something about it so we have had Tommy repaired in school and are bringing him back to his rightful place.”

Other vandalised statues near the town’s war memorial and nearby streets were restored by local carpenter Nigel Collings.

In Southampton, war veteran Martin Hance, 36, who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, fixed one of the silhouettes which was defaced a few hundred yards away from his home.

Thugs removed three of the five bolts holding the figure in place and left it “hideously out of shape”.

Mr Hance said: “I had not even had time to go to the site and pay my respects properly.”

The veteran, who served with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers for 13 years, added: “My time in the Army included three tours to Iraq and one to Afghanistan.

“I watched people I was very close to die in action so you can imagine my feelings.”

On the outskirts of Market Deeping in Lincolnshire, Micky Culff made a new statue from steel after vandals ripped off the silhouettes rifle.

In Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, thugs snapped the head off a silhouette located at the town’s bandstand.

The silhouette was one of 32 placed around the town and nearby villages by the local Royal British Legion.

Graham Aplin, Royal British Legion chairman for Ross-on-Wye, said: “The irony is that I bet someone from their family took part in the First World War.

    “It makes me very sad.””

This is nothing but cultural vandalism. See “Demoralization”, per Bezmenov.

Pious Muslims everywhere should be overjoyed that countless thousands of Western WWI Infidels economically bled themselves, and dispatched each other with such prowess.

We did it again in WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, Grenada, Panama, THE SAND BOX…

Now we are consigned to fighting Politically Correct wars—an oxymoron, if ever there was one. I have nothing but sympathy for those who serve in America’s military (some US allies included).

  21. Man who was systematically raped says community turned on HIM when he told police (express, Nov 4, 2018)
    https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1040755/swansea-news-amer-hussain-rape-abuse-swansea-police-wales

“A MAN who was sexually assaulted more than 100 times when he was a child has spoken out about the horrific abuse he suffered from the age of six.

Amer Hussain was first abused when he was just six years old by his uncle Ajaz Butt who travelled from Pakistan to Mr Hussain’s family house in Swansea.

The youngster suffered further abuse when he was sent to boarding school in Pakistan at the age of nine, where he was assaulted every night for six months before he returned to Wales.

And Mr Hussain was even abused at a family funeral in Bristol when he was 12 years old by his mother’s distant cousin Sajid Butt.

Speaking to Wales Online, Mr Hussain, now 39, revealed how he faced a “backlash” from his community when he finally reported the abuse to the police years later, despite his close family being supportive.

Mr Hussain said: “Once I went to the police I had a backlash.

“The community wanted us to try and sort this out between elders. The sort of conversations I was having was people telling me that I should forgive them.”

The 39-year-old said he had received death threats for involving the police.

He said: “I was getting death threats from people after I went to the police.”

Mr Hussain described how he has found the attack by the community harder to deal with than the court case.

He said: “The reaction from people within the community to me coming forward has actually affected me more than going over what happened in the court case.”

Mr Hussain has waived his anonymity and spoken publicly about his abuse as he hopes to help other people who have suffered similar experiences…”
