6. Trump administration closing PLO mission in Washington

The Trump administration announced Monday that it is closing the Palestine Liberation Organization’s mission in Washington, citing Palestinian leaders’ resistance to peace talks and attempts to get an international court to prosecute Israel for alleged war crimes.

The announcement marks the latest blow by the United States against the Palestinians amid a stalled Mideast peace process.

“The United States will always stand with our friend and ally, Israel,” National Security Adviser John Bolton said during a speech to the Federalist Society. “The Trump administration will not keep the office open when the Palestinians refuse to take steps to start direct and meaningful negotiations with Israel.”

  1. Robert Spencer
This is upsetting. Robert Spencer has been faithfully telling the truth about Islam for years and now they are finally getting ready to destroy him completely. It’s sad. He is a human being and they are making his life miserable. That’s what the leftist bastards do. They make being a conservative a miserable thing with their constant harassment and hatred. Bastards!

  2. Re: #4. The UK is in deep, deep trouble. But that is not saying anything most readers here don’t know already. I guess the pertinent question then is, what proportion of the British public, and of the police and possibly armed forces, realize this, and moreover, are prepared to do something about it?

OT (but speaking of people brave and honest enough to act in the face of tyranny) it seems to me that Tommy Robinson has been keeping a rather low profile since his release. I have heard it suggested that he might not be himself anymore after the – what was essentially – torture that was inflicted on him. For his sake, and the sake of the UK, I hope that he recovers.

  3. British police won’t look into real crimes – death threats with proof – but ask for reports of non-crimes. It’s easier to intimidate non-criminals than real ones. What next, arrest people for walking on the cracks in the pavement?
