  1. Gulf War veteran Chris Crowley turned himself in to authorities yesterday after a politically tainted warrant was issued for his arrest.

    By Jacob Engels

South Florida is buzzing after State’s Attorney candidate Chris Crowley turned himself in on charges of running an illegal raffle during his campaign for the 20th judicial circuit, which covers Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry, and Lee counties.

The arrest comes just weeks after Crowley exposed his opponent for having deep family ties to the radical terrorist organization known as the Palestinian Liberation Organization or PLO. The PLO has murdered thousands of innocent civilians and is recognized as one of the most deadly terrorist groups in the world.

Mr. Crowley is facing Amy Fox, whose real name is Amira Dajani, a fact that she has worked to conceal from voters in the GOP primary. Dajani’s Uncle served in high-level leadership roles for the group on several occasions. Her father penned a book titled “From Palestine to America” that included passages full of commentary viewed by many to be anti-Semitic, anti-American, and anti-Christian, and anti-Israel.

Boy howdy, now there’s a complicated choice.

  2. Democrat Senator Claims Way to Save America is to Ban Conservative Websites
    6 hours ago

Connecticut’s Democrat Senator, Chris Murphy, said that conservatives should be shut out of social media, proving that he is not an American, but is, instead, an un-American fascist.

On Monday, Murphy announced his Chinese-styled censorship of the people’s right to free speech saying he feels people who aren’t in the proper party should be shut down.

“Infowars is the tip of a giant iceberg of hate and lies that uses sites like Facebook and YouTube to tear our nation apart. These companies must do more than take down one website. The survival of our democracy depends on it,” Murphy tweeted on August 6.

The president’s son was serious alarmed by this fascist proclamation by a sitting U.S. Senator.

“A Democrat Senator openly admitting that Big Tech’s censorship campaign is really about purging all conservative media. How long before Big Tech and their Democrat friends move to censor and purge @BreitbartNews, @DailyCaller and other conservatives voices from their platforms?” Donald Trump, Jr., tweeted on Tuesday.

Trump, Jr., is right. This is a chilling example of how far the Democrat Party has fallen from American ideals.

Indeed, Murphy could not be farther from American principles. Free political speech is the one type of speech that our founding fathers wanted most.

Murphy is just another liberal who is blissfully free of any historical knowledge because political free speech is precisely what the founders wanted to protect at all costs. The founders absolutely did not feel that just any speech should be sacrosanct, granted, but what they did want is to make political speech inviolable. They wanted every American to have the absolute freedom to take any political position, advocate for any candidate, and make any political statement they want to make.

After all, it should be remembered that at the time of the founding every state had speech laws preventing some types of speech. The laws were different from one colony to the next, of course, but one thing was the same everywhere after the Constitution was ratified. Political speech was protected. Anyone could take any political position they wanted.

But now, here we have Chris Murphy attempting to put an end to that freedom.

  3. Migrant farmers strike in Italy after 16 road deaths (BBC, Aug 8, 2018)
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-45117063

“African migrant labourers have gone on strike in Italy in protest at their poor working conditions, after 16 workers died in road crashes.

Shouting “we are not slaves”, farm workers downed tools and marched on the city of Foggia in southern Italy.

The strike comes after 16 migrants died in two separate accidents in 48 hours.

In both cases, lorries carrying tomatoes collided with vans carrying the labourers home after their day’s work.

Four workers died in a crash in the Puglia region on Saturday, and 12 more perished in a head-on collision near Lesina north of Foggia two days later.

The labourers say recruiters who may be linked to organised crime drive them from farm to farm in overcrowded vans, and fail to give them work contracts.

A “red hat march” was announced by farm workers on Saturday – echoing the hats worn by tomato pickers in the fields around Foggia…”

    • Shouting “we are not slaves”, farm workers downed tools and marched on the city of Foggia in southern Italy.

Correctamundo! Closer to fact, you aren’t “slaves” but Obsolete Farming Implements and had best start acting accordingly. Of course, should any Liberal be asked, that would be demanding too much of our “little brown brothers”.

The “soft racism” of lowered expectations is one of the most vicious there is.

  4. US suspect was ‘training children to commit school shootings’ (BBC, Aug 8, 2018)
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-45120580

“A man arrested after 11 malnourished children were found in a remote desert compound was training them to commit school shootings, US media report.

According to prosecutors’ documents, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj was teaching some of the children, who are aged one to 15, how to use weapons.

Mr Wahhaj was one of two armed men at the scene in the US state of New Mexico. Three women were also arrested.

Police say the remains of a boy were also discovered at the compound.

Found on Monday, the remains are those of Mr Wahhaj’s missing three-year-old son, Abdula-Ghani Wahhaj, the Taos News reports.

Mr Wahhaj is suspected of abducting the boy from his Georgia home in December, and it was the search for him that led to the arrests.

The toddler suffered from seizures according to the missing person’s report filed by his mother.

But Mr Wahhaj believed the boy needed to be exorcised, according to court papers.

Prosecutor Timothy Hasson filed the documents on Wednesday, but did not discuss the accusations in court, the Associated Press reported.

Mr Hasson requested that Mr Wahhaj be held without bail.

The complaint cites a foster parent of one of the 11 children as saying Mr Wahhaj “had trained the child in the use of an assault rifle in preparation for future school shootings”, US media say.

All five adults arrested at the compound last week face child abuse charges…”

    • Son of Imam Linked to WTC Bombing Kept Children in ‘Filthy’ Compound, Allegedly Trained Them to Shoot Up Schools (breitbart, Aug 8, 2018)
      https://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2018/08/08/son-imam-wtc-bombing-children-filthy-compound-allegedly-trained-shoot-schools/

“Horrifying details emerged on Wednesday in the case of Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, the son of an imam linked to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, who was arrested in New Mexico on charges of keeping 11 starving children in a filthy compound. According to court documents filed by prosecutors, Wahhaj was training the children to carry out school shootings.

Prosecutors asked the judge to hold Wahhaj without bond for felony child abuse. He is also the subject of an extradition warrant from Georgia on charges of kidnapping his own son from the state in December. His son was not among the starving children rescued from the compound. There are fears the remains of an as-yet unidentified child found at the compound could be Wahhaj’s son.

Prosecutors said on Wednesday that Wahhaj and four accomplices possessed an AR-15 rifle and four pistols with ample ammunition and were training the children to commit school shootings.

Wahhaj’s father, who was born under the name Jeffrey Kearse but now also uses the name “Siraj Wahhaj,” is an imam in New York who was an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. He served as a character witness in the trial of mastermind Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman, also known as the “Blind Sheikh.”

The New York Post reported on Monday that the elder Wahhaj is currently the head of the Majid at-Taqwa mosque in Bedford-Stuyvesant. The other defendants in the compound case are the younger Siraj Wahhaj’s wife, his two sisters, and his brother-in-law…”

  5. Christopher Steele Was ‘Concerned’ About Senate Inquiries Into Dossier, Text Messages Show

Christopher Steele expressed concern last year at a Senate committee’s request for information about the former British spy’s anti-Trump dossier, according to text messages recently provided to Congress.

“Would it be possible to speak later today please? We’re very concerned by the Grassley letter and it’s possible implications for us, our operations and our sources. We need some reassurances,” Steele wrote in a March 7, 2017 text message to Bruce Ohr, who then served as deputy assistant attorney general.

Steele, a former MI6 officer, was seemingly referring to a March 6, 2017 letter that Senate Committee on the Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley sent to then-FBI Director James Comey seeking information about Steele and the dossier.

The text message is part of a trove of documents that the Department of Justice recently provided to several congressional committees investigating the government’s handling of Steele’s dossier. The Hill obtained some of the records and reported on several text message and email exchanges between Ohr and Steele.

    • Thank you, so much, MissPiggy.

Despite my intense dislike for conspiracy theories, this video clip breaths some appropriate life into where honest suspicion belongs.

      • It would be nice to know the truth about Q but if they are what they claim it would be dangerous, very dangerous.

        • Genuine spooks avoid spooky innuendo…
          …or so I’m told.

The Q claims are comic-book style, stage-whisper broadcasts. That say all the things a particular audience is primed to believe. Lots of titillating confirmation bias.

Social media has a multiplier effect. Less-than-authoritative authorities like Q have massive numbers of “followers”. Many become aggressively protective of the selective hash served up to them.

I’m distressed by the profusion of overheated conspiracy theories. It sounds an alarm that echoes the faltering canaries.

  6. Islamic Extremist Trained Children to Become School Shooters

The son of a prominent Brooklyn-based imam was training children at a New Mexico compound to commit schools shootings, prosecutors said in court documents released Wednesday.

Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, 39, was training 11 children at a compound north of Taos, New Mexico, according to The Associated Press. Authorities raided the compound Friday and arrested Wahhaj, two of his siblings and two other men during a search for Wahhaj’s son, who had been abducted from Georgia late in 2017. A 3-year-old boy was found buried near the compound, but has not been identified. Wahhaj’s son was not among the children rescued.

Residents in Amalia, New Mexico, near the Colorado border, had complained for months about the squalid conditions of the makeshift compound before Friday’s raid, according to news reports. Authorities recovered multiple firearms as well as an AR-15.

  7. Whoops! MSM Data Poll Finds Public Back Boris: Burqa Comments Not Racist, Garb Should Be Banned (breitbart, Aug 8, 2018)
    https://www.breitbart.com/london/2018/08/08/whoops-msm-data-poll-finds-public-back-boris-burqa-comments-not-racist-garb-should-be-banned/

“The mainstream media has been embarrassed by a data poll which shows a large majority of the British public do not believe criticising the burqa is “racist” and would support banning the garment.

The poll was conducted for Sky News using a nationally representative sample of 1,649 Sky customers on August 8th 2018, using data weighted to the profile of the population.

It found that some 60 percent of respondents did not believe Johnson was “racist” to compare the appearance of women in burqas to “bank robbers” or “letterboxes”, and, moreover, that 60 percent of people would support following Austria, France, Denmark, and several other European countries in actually banning the oppressive garments — something Johnson himself said was a step too far.

Sky customers were, oddly, more split on the question of whether Johnson should say sorry for his comments, but a plurality were of the view that no apology was due — 48 percent to 45 percent…”

  8. Police Capture Illegal Posing With ‘Daughter’ He Was Raping

U.S. officials have arrested an illegal alien for multiple counts of rape after he tried to gain entry to the United States with a child he claimed was his daughter, a DHS official said in a Tuesday statement.

A DHS official noted that the illegal alien, Ramon Pedro, arrived with a young girl he claimed was his daughter at the Ysleta Port of Entry in Texas in mid-April.

After Pedro and his claimed daughter was hospitalized for tuberculosis testing in July, U.S. authorities discovered she was not only not related to him in any way but was being systematically sexually abused by him.

“In fact, the victim’s mother told her daughter to accompany Pedro to the United States and he would secure her employment,” a DHS official said, adding that “on July 27, 2018, the Huron Police Department arrested him for multiple felony offenses for rape, oral copulation, forcible sexual penetration and endangering/causing injury to a child. He is currently detained in Fresno County Jail on a $310,000 bond.”

  9. What Dirt Does Russia Have on Barack Obama?
Trump has actually been tougher policy-wise on Moscow than his predecessor. There can only be one explanation.

Donald Trump’s refusal to condemn Russia’s alleged interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election has the usual liberals pronouncing that Vladimir Putin must “have dirt” on the president. Leading this chorus was House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi who tweeted: “Seriously, what does Putin have on Trump that he’s so afraid?”

I’ll confess that I once parroted that same line. I was especially alarmed by reports that the Trump campaign worked behind the scenes to ensure that the Republican Party platform watered down support for Ukraine, specifically by removing a call to arm Ukrainian government forces in their fight against pro-Russian rebels. That, plus Trump’s refusal to criticize Putin, and my overconsumption of Russia-obsessed MSNBC pundits like Rachel Maddow, led me to the superficial conclusion that, to borrow from Shakespeare and my favorite movie “True Romance,” something was rotten in Denmark.

Then I gave it some more thought.

  10. Charities in Calais claim police harass British and other volunteers (thelocal, Aug 8, 2018)
    https://www.thelocal.fr/20180808/charities-in-calais-claim-police-harass-british-and-other-volunteers

“In a new report, UK and French migrant charities in Calais say their volunteers are being systematically bullied by the police.

The UK charity Help Refugees and other NGOs helping migrants in Calais have published a report claiming that their volunteers are systematically harassed and intimidated by the police.

The publication co-authored by UK charity Help Refugees and French NGOs Auberge des Migrants, Utopia56 and Refugee Info Bus lists no less than 646 incidents relating to police intimidation over the past eight months leading up to July.

It is based on evidence given by 33 volunteers.

“This intimidation ranges from systematic identity control to parking tickets, threats, insults and physical violence,” the report said.

“These volunteers face many obstacles daily including active intimidation on behalf of the police. The French authorities do not only ignore their obligation when it comes to human rights but they also actively prevent volunteers from carrying out their humanitarian work.””

    • I don’t care if you are pro life or pro abortion Roe v Wade is bad law. The US Constitution limits what the Federal Government can get involved in, if they are not specifically allowed to do something they are forbidden. There is nothing in the Constitution that allows the Feds to enter the abortion debate, that makes it a right/power of the states.

With the individuals it is the exact opposite if we aren’t specifically forbidden to do something it is allowed.
