  1. It has been said for years that Greece and Italy carry the bulk of Europe’s refugee reception.
However, it is Germany that has the largest number of persons entitled to protection and asylum seekers in Europe.

As of the end of December 2017, the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) counted 1.41 million migrants.
This is followed by France (402,000) ahead of Italy (355,000). Rejected asylum seekers are not included.

The state of North Rhine Westfalia (where I live) has more refugees than all of Italy, where
433,236 such immigrants live on the asylum system. (!!!)

The city of Berlin has more asylum seekers today than in the whole of Greece (83.000). By the end of 2017, there were 83,222 asylum migrants in the capital.

        • The Islamic Invasion Migrant crisis has created the political situation where the ethnic German population is split between those who support the invaders and those who oppose them. Since the ethnic Germans are for the most part unarmed there is little chance of a quick win by the patriotic Germans. This means rather then one war with a small percentage of the losers carrying out a terror campaign it will be a series of short wars where both sides win and lose and the invaders grab up as much land as possible. The main fighting will be small unit with a few large scale fights inside some of the cities (This type of infantry war is the nastiest and bloodiest fighting possible, especially if you are trying to save the buildings.) In this situation the ethnic Germans will end up winning but it will take decades for them to control all of Germany and kick the invaders out of the areas they control.

  2. Bombshell accusation: Hillary never had a State Department email address; all emails were sent to her at her private unsecured email

“The State Department is lying when it says it didn’t know until it was too late that Hillary Clinton was improperly using personal emails and a private server to conduct official business — because it never set up an agency email address for her in the first place, the department’s former top watchdog says.”

“’That’s a change in the standard. It tells me that this was premeditated. And this eliminates claims by the State Department that they were unaware of her private email server until later,’ Krongard said in an exclusive interview. ‘How else was she supposed to do business without [an official State Department] email?’”

  3. I posted about a stabbing, fire and subsequent explosion in Utrecht, the Netherlands a few days ago, and mentioned it happened in a muslim area.
I suspected it was either terror-related, or more likely honor-related violence. An anonymous source has confirmed the latter on a forum for the local moroccan community. Waiting for confirmation from police/MSM. In the meantime enjoy these posts from “Strijdbaar”, real gems. In dutch, see my translation below:

“He had disowned his daughter. Because she went with a non-Moroccan. But that ******** continued to challenge him and visit the home. The father said; it’s fine that that little whore goes with a non-Moroccan, but I do not want her under my roof. “The wife continued to let that little Moroccan whore visit the house. The man, a respectful Hajj, could no longer put up with this and murdered his wife. Why?”

“Because that man did not accept that his daughter was seeing a filthy uncut kaffir. Moroccan women are a disease and a kind of cancer. Now her mother is dead and her father is held for murder. And all this for an uncircumcised cock.”

“Those Moroccan sluts should not think that they can bring home a non-Moroccan. Hats off for that ma [pa?], wollah [I swear to Allah]. I respect that man, He defended his honor, which was sullied by his daughter by going with a non-Moroccan.”

“Respect for that man! It is the Moroccan women who make us look like fools. I would not accept it either if my sister came home with an uncut cock. F*uck off with those Jews.”

“It was not a chitan [Arab word for circumcision, but maybe Satan was meant ]. His daughter defied him every time by visiting his house. RESPECT for this man Oisau. He has murdered an innocent woman who promotes zina [unlawful sexual intercourse] and fornication of a kaffir. Those Moroccan whores should be ashamed of themselves!!!”

“You are not going to marry a kaffir and then simply visit your parents as if it were normal? Do you think the behavior of that filthy kaffir whore normal Oiseau? Challenging her father by dropping by every time. That man is almost 75 years !!! He wanted to distance himself from his daughter. He had her DISOWNED !!! What business did she have in her parental home?”

“No Oiseau. Mixed relationships are rare and inappropriate. Moroccan whores have to be dealt with. Respect for that Hajj !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“It is always the Moroccan whores that play a leading role. Freedom because they want uncut dicks so much. Come on man. At least show a bit of respect for who raised you. That Hajj is a Hamza [reference to Hamza Ibn Abdul Muttalib, the Lion of Islam]. He has sent a clear message to the Moroccan Netherlands.”

  4. The Wiretap Rooms
The NSA’s Hidden Spy Hubs in Eight U.S. Cities

walls in cities across the United States, inside towering, windowless skyscrapers and fortress-like concrete structures that were built to withstand earthquakes and even nuclear attack. Thousands of people pass by the buildings each day and rarely give them a second glance, because their function is not publicly known. They are an integral part of one of the world’s largest telecommunications networks – and they are also linked to a controversial National Security Agency surveillance program.

Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington, D.C. In each of these cities, The Intercept has identified an AT&T facility containing networking equipment that transports large quantities of internet traffic across the United States and the world. A body of evidence – including classified NSA documents, public records, and interviews with several former AT&T employees – indicates that the buildings are central to an NSA spying initiative that has for years monitored billions of emails, phone calls, and online chats passing across U.S. territory.

The NSA considers AT&T to be one of its most trusted partners and has lauded the company’s “extreme willingness to help.” It is a collaboration that dates back decades. Little known, however, is that its scope is not restricted to AT&T’s customers. According to the NSA’s documents, it values AT&T not only because it “has access to information that transits the nation,” but also because it maintains unique relationships with other phone and internet providers. The NSA exploits these relationships for surveillance purposes, commandeering AT&T’s massive infrastructure and using it as a platform to covertly tap into communications processed by other companies.

  5. Boeing unveils hypersonic 4,000mph airliner capable of New York to London in TWO HOURS

Aerospace firm Boeing have joined the race for a new Concorde as they announced development of the aircraft at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

The unnamed aircraft is theoretically capable of flying at speeds of Mach 5 – which is nearly 4,000mph.

And this is almost three times faster than the legendary supersonic Concorde, which is decommissioned in 2003.

Boeing’s new plane would be able to cruise at 95,000ft, which is also 30,000ft higher than Concorde.

It is estimated the aircraft would be able to cross the Atlantic in two hours, and the Pacific in just three.

  6. California Considers Creating A Fake News Advisory Group

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – California is considering creating a “fake news” advisory group in order to monitor information posted and spread on social media.

Senate Bill 1424 would require the California Attorney General to create the advisory committee by April 1, 2019. It would need to consist of at least one person from the Department of Justice, representatives from social media providers, civil liberties advocates, and First Amendment scholars.

ALSO: Measure To Repeal New California Gas Tax Qualifies For November Ballot

The advisory group would be required to study how false information is spread online and come up with a plan for social media platforms to fix the problem. The Attorney General would then need to present that plan to the Legislature by December 31, 2019. The group would also need to come up with criteria establishing what is “fake news” versus what is inflammatory or one-sided.

ALSO: Harley Davidson Moving Some Production Overseas Amid Tariff Fight

The Electronic Frontier Foundation opposes the bill, calling it “flawed” and “misguided.” The group argues the measure would make the government and advisory group responsible for deciding what is true or false. It also points out the First Amendment prevents content-based restrictions, even if the statements of “admittedly false.”

  7. Sweden’s far-right eyes election gains as gang violence rises

STOCKHOLM (Reuters) – A surge in gang violence has stirred anti-immigration sentiment before an election in Sweden, putting a far-right party on course for big gains in one of Europe’s most liberal countries.

Dozens of people have been killed in the past two years in attacks in the capital Stockholm and other big cities by gangs that are mostly from run-down suburbs dominated by immigrants.

In the latest bloodshed, three men were shot dead and three were wounded outside an internet cafe in the city of Malmo on June 18. A fourth man was shot dead days later and another man survived because he was wearing a bullet-proof vest.

  8. Austria deploys police and troops for immigration exercise on border

SPIELFELD, Austria (Reuters) – Austria deployed police, soldiers and Black Hawk military helicopters on Tuesday in an exercise, overseen by the far-right interior minister, which enacted the arrival of hundreds of migrants on its border with Slovenia.

The drill, designed to show Austria’s preparedness for any repeat of Europe’s migration crisis, dovetailed with the right-wing government’s efforts to discourage migrants from setting off to find a home in central Europe.

Austria took in more than 1 percent of its population in asylum seekers during the 2015-2016 migration crisis, and Chancellor Sebastian Kurz’s conservatives won last year’s election pledging to prevent a repeat of that influx. They govern in coalition with the far-right Freedom Party.

“A state that in the worst case cannot protect its borders loses its credibility,” Interior Minister Herbert Kickl of the Freedom Party told reporters.

    • MIGRANT CRISIS: Trouble for EU as new council president Austria adopts hardline approach (express, Jun 26, 2018)
      https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/979778/eu-news-migrant-crisis-austria-vienna-africa-syria-afghanistan-asylum-applications

“AFGHANS, Africans and Syrians seeking refuge in the European Union would have to submit asylum applications prior to entering the bloc under strict new proposals put forward by Austria.

The motion would see the bloc move away from its current system, much criticised “frontline” Mediterranean states including Greece and Italy have criticised, who claim it has led to them taking in a “disproportionate” amount of migrants.

This sees migrants submit applications at the first EU country they arrive in.

Austria’s proposals are an indication of the hardline tactics which the country will take on migration once it assumes the EU’s rotating presidency on July 1.

The document, highlights how the government of Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, which includes the far-right Freedom Party, intends to use the country’s six-month EU presidency to propagate a more stringent political response to the bloc’s migrant crisis.

The report criticises what it described as “fundamental weaknesses” in the EU’s external border and debates proposals such as the “development of a new, better protection system under which no applications for asylum are filed on EU territory,” bar limited exceptions.

It goes on to say that action is required to deal with the arrival of uneducated and lone young men coming from regions “characterised by patriarchal, anti-freedom and/or backward-looking religious attitudes”.

The motion furthers proposals already under discussion within the EU to build camps in North Africa to send migrants saved at sea, with Italy pressurising other EU member states to adhere to the proposal after its refusal this month to accept a rescue ship of more than 600 migrants.

Another of the document’s potential aims is to send failed asylum claimants already in the EU to a facility in a country outside the bloc.

However, it is unclear if the Austrian proposals would be in accords with asylum law, while the European Commission said on Monday that deporting people who had already entered the EU to centres in third countries without processing their asylum claims risked breaching international rules.

The latest warnings from Austria come as photos show armed guards carrying out drills at the border with Slovenia…”

    • Austria: Armed forces carry out migrant security drills at Slovenian border

Austria’s security forces carried out a border protection exercise at the border crossing in Spielfeld, Tuesday, across from Sentilj, near the Slovenian city of Maribor.

Several hundred members of the Austrian armed forces and police officers carried out an excercise to stop a large group of refugees, played by actors, from crossing the border.

Austria’s new 600-member border squad ‘Puma,’ expected to be ready in September, is also participating in the excercises.

The Sentil-Spielfeld border crossing already features extensive border protection infrastructure, including border fencing.

  9. How Comey intervened to kill WikiLeaks’ immunity deal

One of the more devastating intelligence leaks in American history — the unmasking of the CIA’s arsenal of cyber warfare weapons last year — has an untold prelude worthy of a spy novel.

Some of the characters are household names, thanks to the Russia scandal: James Comey, fired FBI director. Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.), vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee. Department of Justice (DOJ) official Bruce Ohr. Julian Assange, grand master of WikiLeaks. And American attorney Adam Waldman, who has a Forrest Gump-like penchant for showing up in major cases of intrigue.

    • A key in an unexpected place: Comey spiked 2017 immunity deal for Assange
      By J.E. Dyer June 26, 2018

Reporting from John Solomon at The Hill on Monday sheds light on a little-remarked episode in the Russiagate saga from February and March 2017. It may hold the key to a lot.

Solomon’s sources say that during negotiations with WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange, from which the Justice Department hoped to get an immunity agreement and some cooperation with Assange on redacting information from upcoming WikiLeaks data dumps, FBI Director James Comey spiked the whole process. Because of Comey, negotiations were shut down.

And, of particular interest to the Russiagate narrative, Assange was also offering to explain why the source of the John Podesta email data released by WikiLeaks in 2016 could not be the Russian hackers suspected by the FBI. (Assange was not offering to disclose his source; only to discuss why his information indicated it could not be the Russians.)

After Comey shut the negotiations with Assange down, attempts to revive them were unsuccessful. The end result was the devastating WikiLeaks release on 7 April 2017 of a CIA-developed hacking framework with which to build custom malware. This wasn’t just information about the kind of capability the CIA had; it was code-level data.

“A French financial analyst and his “dominant” partner have been jailed for life for the murder of an au pair whose body was found burning in the back garden of their home in London. Sputnik reporter Chris Summers was in court and heard the judge describe the ordeal Sophie Lionnet suffered at their hands as being “prolonged and without pity”.

Sophie, 21, was tortured and killed at the home of Sabrina Kouider and Ouissem Medouni in Southfields, south west London, in September last year.

Medouni, 40, who had been made redundant from Societe Generale bank, and Kouider, 35, were found guilty of murder last month.

On Tuesday, June 26, Judge Nicholas Hilliard QC ordered Kouider — who was described as being “vindictive, overbearing and controlling” — to a minimum of 30 years in jail.

“During their meeting last week at Angela Merkel’s residence in Meseberg, the German Chancellor and French President Emmanuel Macron specifically agreed on rendering financial assistance to eurozone members.

France’s Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire told The Financial Times that the latest French-German plans to shore up the eurozone should be resolved, irrespective of the migration crisis.

“I am pleading for these two subjects to be kept completely separate. We have the opportunity to show we are moving forward on the economy and drawing lessons from the financial crisis. Let’s seize on this positive agenda,” Le Maire pointed out.

He warned against using the eurozone reform-related issues as a bargaining chip in the EU’s ongoing dispute over migration.

Le Maire touted the Merkel-Macron proposal for a eurozone budget as a “political breakthrough” which he said should be “non-negotiable.”…”

  12. Radicalization & Polygamy: Report Warns of ‘Parallel Society’ in Swedish Town (sputniknews, Jun 26, 2018)
    https://sputniknews.com/europe/201806261065782899-sweden-radicalizaton-polygamy/

“A municipal report on Nyköping’s Brandkärr district raised the alarm over ongoing Islamization, but local inhabitants of the Somali-dominated area have challenged the authorities’ take as “exaggerated,” denying some of its most troubling findings.

According to a recent report, the area of Brandkärr in the Swedish town of Nyköping is on its way to become a parallel society, with symptoms of radicalization such as polygamy, Quranic schools and girls as young as two forced to wear hijabs, Swedish Radio reported.

The Brandkärr report identified polygamy as a common occurrence in the area, where 60 percent of the inhabitants have a foreign background. Furthermore, instances of Sharia Law and morality police were observed, including girls as young as two being forced to wear the Islamic headscarf and abstain from school dinners for religious reasons. The report also noted a high concentration of imams, with Quranic schools consuming a lot of children’s time.

Somalis were found to constitute 60 percent of schoolchildren and over 90 percent of preschoolers, with Somali increasingly often becoming the default language and “monoculture” undermining the pedagogical mission and resulting in the staff having trouble understanding the children.

Lastly, Brandkärr was found to become increasingly secluded from the rest of Nyköping. Another problem associated with the district was escalating drug peddling, including the use of khat, a controlled substance commonly used in West Africa.

“I’m worried and concerned. Apparently, the radicalization here in Brandkärr has gone way too far,” says Jan Bonnier, Conservative vice-president of the municipality’s Education, Labor and Integration Committee told Swedish Radio.

The report, which was part of the evaluation procedures for continued integration work, was based on-in-depth interviews with 26 people, most of them municipal employees, as well as police officers and representatives of the local housing authority. It was originally compiled last November, but gained press attention only recently.

According to Björn Littmarck, one of the authors behind the report, the municipality is standing at a crossing.

“If we are working with integration now and doing a good job, then Sweden and Germany will become major winners. We have got ourselves a young population, and that’s exactly what we need. But if we fail to work well with integration, it can get tough,” Littmarck ventured.

Urban Granström, Social Democrat chairman of the municipal council, stressed that the findings should be taken seriously.

The Somali Association, however, argued that the report’s conclusions were exaggerated, and provided a skewed picture. Its representative Mahad Shek denied the presence of morality police, stressing that unemployment and housing were the major problems haunting the area…”

  13. Netherlands Introduces Islamic Burqa Ban in Public Places (sputniknews, Jun 26, 208)
    https://sputniknews.com/europe/201806261065788010-burqa-ban-netherlands/

“Full face veils have been previously banned in a number of European nations, including Denmark, France, Belgium, Latvia, Bulgaria and the Swiss Italian-speaking canton of Ticino.

The Netherlands’ upper house of parliament, Senate, has adopted a law banning the wearing of the Islamic full-face veil, burqa, in public spaces.

The bill was passed by the lower house in 2016 after lawmakers failed to introduce a more general ban on face-covering veils.

Before the bill, initiated by Dutch Interior Minister Ronald Plasterk, was passed, it had long been stirring debates in the Netherlands. Earlier, Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte, said the initiative was only introduced for security purposes. However, many raise concerns it targets the country’s religious minority.

Besides the Netherlands, several of Germany’s neighbors have also barred face veils over the past few years. Belgium banned clothing covering the face in 2011. The same year, France prohibited wearing niqabs in public places.”

  14. GOP House members introduce measure to censure Maxine Waters, call for her resignation
By LU Staff June 26, 2018

Did Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) cross a line with her most recent outburst in which she urged fellow Trump haters to “create a crowd” and get in the face of members of his cabinet? Democrats in Congress apparently think so. Yesterday, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer paid lip service to Waters’s incivility without actually mentioning her name — which is about as close to non-partisan as Democrats in this day and age are capable of getting.

But Republicans in the House were not so restained. According to The Hill, a member of the caucus introduced a measure to censure Waters and called on her to resign.

“Turkey’s state-run news agency says authorities have issued initial detention warrants for 138 people, including military personnel, for suspected links to a network led by a U.S.-based cleric who Turkey accuses of orchestrating a 2016 failed coup attempt.

Anadolu Agency said 66 of the suspects were detained on Tuesday in raids across Turkey as the country presses ahead with a large-scale crackdown against Fethullah Gulen’s network. The cleric denies involvement in the coup.

The suspects include former police chiefs and police, ex-cadets, and some officers in the Coast Guard, the Navy and the Gendarmerie, Anadolu said in separate reports, and now await charges or dismissal.

Turkey’s crackdown after the coup has resulted in about 50,000 arrests. More than 110,000 people have also been sacked from state jobs, including the military.”

    https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/libyas-oil-firm-vital-terminals-hand-illegal-56162895

“Libya’s U.N.-backed government based in Tripoli on Tuesday urged the U.N. Security Council to block what it described as “illegal” oil sales by a rival administration based in the country’s east.

The appeal comes a day after the self-styled Libyan National Army, led by Field Marshal Khalifa Hifter and based in eastern Libya, said it handed over management of vital oil terminals to a firm controlled by an interim government in the east.

The Tripoli-based government said Hifter’s move was “an irresponsible action and a serious threat to the interests of the Libyan people.”…”

    https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/president-iran-economic-fight-us-56162531

“Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said Tuesday his country is in a “fight” with the U.S., a day after protesters angered by Iran’s tanking economy confronted police in front of parliament.

In a televised speech, Rouhani blamed the U.S. for Iran’s woes and said the U.S. is trying to damage the country by creating “an economic war.”

“The U.S. cannot defeat our nation, our enemies are not able to get us to their knees,” he said.

Rouhani’s comments came after protesters angered by Iran’s tanking economy confronted police in front of parliament Monday. It was the first such confrontation since similar demonstrations rocked the country at the start of the year…”

  22. Hungary: Soros-founded school plans to stay in Budapest (abcnews, Jun 26, 2018)
    https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/hungary-soros-founded-school-plans-stay-budapest-56165162

“The Budapest-based Central European University, founded by billionaire George Soros and targeted by Hungary’s populist prime minister, says the school will begin recruiting students for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Tuesday’s announcement from the board of trustees seems to confirm the university’s commitment to staying in Budapest as it awaits a decision by the Hungarian government regarding its compliance with new rules for higher education institutions.

The new regulations passed last year are seen directly targeting the university because of its ties to Soros, an ideological foe of Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

The determinedly anti-migrant Orban blames Soros for promoting mass migration into Europe, a charge he denies.

CEU will also open a new campus in Vienna next year.”

  23. Iran detains opposition journalist over ‘criminal tweets’ (abcnews, Jun 26, 2018)
    https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/iran-detains-opposition-journalist-criminal-tweets-56165348

“Iran has detained a journalist who served as an adviser to a prominent opposition leader under house arrest.

The semi-official ISNA news agency quoted the Tehran prosecutor as saying that Hengameh Shaidi was “on the run” for months before she was arrested on Kish Island. The prosecutor, Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi, did not specify the charges, but accused her of insulting the judiciary with “criminal tweets.”

The state-run IRNA news agency also reported the arrest, saying she had used a mask to hide from police.

Shaidi, who was previously detained in March 2017, had worked as an adviser to Mehdi Karroubi, who has been under house arrest since 2011.

The arrest comes two weeks after Nasrin Sotoudeh, a human rights lawyer who had criticized the judiciary, was arrested from her home.”

  24. Australia to ban covert foreign interference in politics (abcnews, Jun 26, 2018)
    https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/australia-ban-covert-foreign-interference-politics-56164891

“Australia’s House of Representatives overwhelmingly approved national security legislation on Tuesday that would ban covert foreign interference in domestic politics and make industrial espionage for a foreign power a crime.

The two bills covering foreign interference, espionage and influence transparency have been criticized as criminalizing dissent. But the Senate is expected to make them law by Thursday with the support of the center-left Labor Party opposition.

Individuals lobbying for foreign governments would have to be listed on a public register in a step toward making foreign influence on Australian politics more transparent.

The conservative government says the legislation, first proposed in December, is the major cause of a rift in diplomatic relations with China, Australia’s most important trading partner. But the government maintains that it is not aimed at any particular country.

Attorney General Christian Porter told Parliament on Tuesday the bills include the most significant counter-spying reforms in Australia since the 1970s.

“The practices of modern espionage are now being encountered in so many Western democracies around the globe,” Porter said.

The bills include 38 new crimes plus existing crimes with broader definitions. The new crimes include stealing trade secrets on behalf of foreign government, which would become punishable by 15 years in prison.

“Until this point, astonishingly and dangerously, no criminal offense in Australia existed to criminalize economic espionage of the type defined in this bill,” Porter said.

A person who engages in covert or deceptive activity to influence political or governmental process, such as organizing a rally, without revealing he or she was operating on behalf of a foreign government could be guilty of a range of foreign interference crimes with maximum penalties ranging from 10 to 20 years in prison.

Both bills have been substantially amended in recent weeks on the advice of a parliamentary committee that scrutinized them, narrowing their focus and reach and increasing the number of organizations that are exempt.

Charities that accept foreign funding but not foreign government direction are exempt, the Catholic Church will not have to register as an agent of the Vatican, and the media have legal protections in reporting leaked national security information.

Speaking in support of the legislation, senior opposition lawyer Mark Dreyfus said there was no evidence that Australia had experienced the type of foreign interference evident in the latest presidential elections in the United States and France and in the United Kingdom’s Brexit referendum.

“It’s apparent that in other parts of the world, covert actors are seeking on an unprecedented scale to interfere with and manipulate the political processes of democratic countries, particularly by attacking free and fair elections,” Dreyfus told Parliament. “Australia will not allow this conduct to arrive on our shores.”

But independent lawmaker Andrew Wilkie, who quit his job as a defense intelligence analyst in 2003 in protest against the then-government’s use of non-existent weapons of mass destruction to explain sending Australian troops to back the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq, voted against the bills. Wilkie argued their definitions of national security and foreign interference were too broad.

Environmentalists protesting against the enormous Adani coal mine proposed for Australia’s north could be prosecuted for a crime of sabotage under the legislation if that protest was defined as a threat to the nation’s economic security, Wilkie said.

Adam Brandt, a minor Greens party lawmaker who described the legislation as criminalizing dissent, was the only lawmaker other than Wilkie to vote against the bills in the House.

London-based Amnesty International said in a statement the legislation would make holding the Australian government to account on human rights obligations a crime.

Australian media have reported that the bills were the result of a classified government report commissioned by Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull in 2016 that found that the Chinese Communist Party had tried to influence Australian policy, compromise political parties and gain access to all levels of government for a decade. The government won’t comment on the media reports.

China protested Turnbull’s announcement of the foreign interference ban.

The Chinese foreign ministry said in December that Turnbull’s remarks were prejudiced against China and had poisoned the atmosphere of China-Australia relations.

A related bill announced in December to ban foreign political donations, of which China is the largest source, is still being drafted. Labor has voluntarily refused to accept foreign donations.”

“A Danish court has found two men and two women guilty of planning to join the Islamic State group in Syria and given them jail terms of three years each — the first case in Denmark in which women have been convicted of intending to join Islamic extremists.

A Copenhagen suburban court also ruled that three of them should be deported after serving their sentence and that the two dual citizens should have their Danish nationality withdrawn. The men are Danish-Moroccan and Danish-Algerian while one of the women is an Afghan citizen. The other woman holds only Danish citizenship.

Three of those convicted — all aged 18-22 — were arrested in March 2017 in Turkey while the fourth was arrested in Denmark. None was identified. All appealed Tuesday’s ruling.”

    https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-court-immigration/supreme-court-backs-trump-on-travel-ban-targeting-muslim-majority-nations-idUSKBN1JM1U9?il=0

“The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday handed Donald Trump one of the biggest victories of his presidency, upholding his travel ban targeting several Muslim-majority countries.

The 5-4 ruling, with the court’s five conservatives in the majority, ends for now a fierce fight in the courts over whether the policy represented an unlawful Muslim ban. Trump can now claim vindication after lower courts had blocked his travel ban announced in September, as well as two prior versions, in legal challenges brought by the state of Hawaii and others.

The court held that the challengers had failed to show that the ban violates either U.S. immigration law or the U.S. Constitution’s First Amendment prohibition on the government favoring one religion over another.

The ruling affirmed broad presidential discretion over who is allowed to enter the United States. It means that the current ban can remain in effect and that Trump could potentially add more countries. Trump has said the policy is needed to protect the country against attacks by Islamic militants.”

  29. Travel Ban Upheld

A major Supreme Court opinion was released on Tuesday morning upholding Trump’s travel ban. In a vote of 5-4, the justices affirmed that the travel ban was constitutional in the case of Trump v. Hawaii.

This opinion has been highly anticipated and follows lengthy litigation concerning President Trump’s travel ban.

The original was struck down, and the Trump administration rewrote the guidelines using more narrowly tailored language. This was challenged and again had to go through the legal process.

  30. Mike Huckabee: Red Hen owner followed Sanders family to another restaurant

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee alleged Monday that the restaurant owner who refused service to his daughter, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, actually ended up following Mrs. Sanders‘ family to another restaurant and causing a “scene.”

Mr. Huckabee told conservative radio host Laura Ingraham on Monday that Stephanie Wilkinson, owner of the Red Hen in Lexington, Virginia, kicked Mrs. Sanders and her family out of the restaurant and then proceeded to yell at them when they tried to go to a different restaurant across the street.

“There’s a part of that story that hasn’t been told, you’re going to be the first to hear it,” Mr. Huckabee said, Mediaite first reported. “Once Sarah and her family left, of course Sarah was asked to please vacate, Sarah and her husband just went home. They had sort of had enough. But the rest of her family went across the street to a different restaurant.

  31. RELIGIOUS FREEDOM WIN: SCOTUS Invalidates Ruling Against Christian Florist

On Monday, the Supreme Court ruled that a Washington state court would have to reconsider its ruling against a florist who served a gay couple for over ten years but would not do their wedding flowers. The Supreme Court’s decision was catalyzed by their ruling in the Masterpiece Cakeshop case in which they ruled for Colorado baker Jack Phillips.

  32. GETTING NASTY: Homeland Security Official Warned With Decapitated Animal On His Porch

According to an official who is familiar with recent threats directed against the Department of Homeland Security, the department determined that there is now a “heightened threat against DHS employees.” The official said roughly two dozen threats have been made in the last few days.

One specific example: a senior DHS official living in the Washington, D.C. area found a burnt and decapitated animal on his front porch.

On Saturday, Claire Grady, acting deputy secretary of Homeland Security, wrote to employees, “This assessment is based on specific and credible threats that have been levied against certain DHS employees and a sharp increase in the overall number of general threats against DHS employees.” Her memo recommended not displaying work badges in public, being careful with public conversations and being circumspect on social networks. It also recommended DHS employees “always keep doors and windows locked” and “be aware of unexpected changes in and around your home.”

  34. Trump Aides Advised to Get Guns, Carry Permits amid Threat of Violence
    1054

Aides to President Donald Trump are being advised to get guns and carry permits amid a growing threat of violence following comments by Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) and others.

NBC News quoted Waters speaking to reporters over the weekend, saying, “If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

Waters made her comments over the same weekend that White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and her family were refused service at The Red Hen in Lexington, Virginia, and followed off the premises. Mediaite reports it was also the very weekend on which Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi was confronted with screams from “huge” angry men at the Tampa Theatre, forcing her departure.

  35. London bloodbath: Police chase down ‘machete-wielding’ suspect after Romford stabbing (express, Jun 26, 2018)
    https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/979896/london-news-romford-man-south-street-detained-machete-met-police

“A MAN in his early 20s has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Romford, east London this afternoon – just days after a 15-year-old was stabbed to death in the town.

Police and paramedics were scrambled London Road shortly before 3pm.

The severity of the victim’s injuries is not yet known, police said.

An officer arrested one suspect after chasing him down a busy street as shocked bystanders looked on.

A witness said the man had been “running around with what looks like a machete”.

Footage taken at the scene shows three officers pinning a man to the ground outside shops while shocked bystanders looked on.

One officer can be seen collecting his possessions in an evidence bag.

A video posted on Twitter shows what appears to be a large bladed weapon being placed into the bag.

A caption accompanying the clip reads: “My brothers in Romford this bloke just got slammed on the deck by the police after running around with what looks like a machete.”…”

  36. MEMRI TV – Paris-Based Tunisian Philosopher: Every Muslim Believes that Planet Earth Must Become Muslim

Paris-based Tunisian philosopher Youssef Seddik, interviewed on Al-Hurra TV on June 13, said that “since the death of the Prophet Muhammad and to this day, our history has been a pack of lies.”

He discussed the incompatibility of the Quran with modern man-made laws, saying that these laws were rendering the religious texts obsolete.

Seddik argued that “every Muslim, whether Sunni or Shiite, believes that Planet Earth in its entirety must become Muslim” and that “this is why Jihad is suitable and effective in every place.”

  37. Caitlin Marriott, Democrat senator’s intern, who yelled ‘f— you’ at Donald Trump, won’t be fired

The woman who yelled obscenities at President Trump last week in the Capitol Rotunda has been named by Fox News as an intern for Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire.

According to Fox News, citing unnamed sources, the intern’s name is Caitlin Marriott and she is 21.

Ms. Hassan’s office confirmed to Fox News that it was her intern that shouted at Mr. Trump, but did not name the intern.

“We are aware of the situation and have taken disciplinary action, including a one-week suspension and revoking her Congressional intern ID badge (thereby restricting her access to the Capitol), in response to her breach of office policies regarding respectful and appropriate conduct. We also facilitated contact with Capitol Police,” Hassan spokesman Aaron Jacobs told Fox.

The incident happened last Tuesday, kicking off a week of obscene or uncivil conduct to Trump administration officials in both their public and private capacities.

As Mr. Trump arrived at the office of House Speaker Paul D. Ryan for talks, Ms. Marriott yelled out “f— you” across the Rotunda and then raced from where she had been, standing with a group of interns, forcing Capitol Police to put out a “be on the lookout alert” and having to find her to determine that she was no threat to the president.

  38. The Left’s Next Step Is Open Violence Against Conservatives

A number of conservative women have faced harassment because of their support of President Trump and because of what the Leftist media would like America to believe is a grassroots backlash toward the Trump administration’s “zero-tolerance” policy at the border.

Over the course of the past week White House press secretary Sarah Sanders was asked to leave a restaurant in Lexington, Virginia, due to her work on President Trump’s behalf and then followed across the street by the Trump Tweet Maxine Watersrestaurant’s owner who harassed her all the way to the door of her next stop.

That incident followed Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen being forced to leave a Mexican restaurant in Washington by a crowd of harassers, including Department of Justice employee Allison Hrabar, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America.

A similar group later gathered outside Nielsen’s home waving signs reading “child snatcher” and chanting “how do you sleep at night.” The demonstrators blasted Nielsen’s home with audio distributed by ProPublica in which alleged child illegal border crossers can be heard sobbing for their parents allegedly while in federal custody.

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi was also harassed at a movie theater this weekend by Leftist bullies who were apparently looking for a fight.

Bondi said that while waiting in the ticket line to see “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” – a documentary about Mr. Rogers – a woman approached her and claimed Bondi was responsible “for ripping babies out of the arms of mothers.”
