  1. Germans Slam Local School’s Decision to Buy ‘Burkinis’ For Muslim Students (sputniknews, Jun 19, 2018)
    https://sputniknews.com/europe/201806191065562159-german-school-burkini-skandal/

“Although Germany’s highest court ruled two years ago that girls in Germany must attend swimming classes despite their religious beliefs, the school in Nordrhein-Westfalen has decided to supply its female students with swimsuits for Muslims.

The Pestalozzi Gymnasium in Herne, Germany, has bought 20 “burkinis,” the German newspaper Westdeutschen Allgemeinen Zeitung reported. The head of the school — where some 800 pupils study — justified the move as being a countermeasure against the religious excuse for skipping swimming classes. According to the report, 15 girls have already used the swimsuits provided by the gymnasium.

The initiative was not warmly welcomed by some German politicians, with CDU Vice President Julia Klöckner slamming it on her Facebook for “perpetuating a discriminatory understanding of the role of women” in a place where they should learn the concept of freedom.

Birgit Ebel, a teacher and expert on Islam, told Sputnik in an interview that providing burkinis to Muslim girls sends a “wrong signal” and added that they must learn the rules about the equal treatment of both genders that exist in the country. She also noted that although it is in the competence of the school to teach each and every student to swim, it must not “open its doors for political Islam.”

“We do not live in Saudi Arabia, where the sexes are separated in a total dualism and a kind of apartheid,” Ebel said.”

President Trump made border security and the effective enforcement of our nation’s immigration laws the centerpiece of his successful campaign for the presidency.

This has enraged globalist politicians from both political parties who see in America’s borders impediments to their wealth and the wealth of their campaign contributors.

Prior administrations have refused to take immigration law enforcement seriously and our nation has, as a direct consequence, paid one hell of a price.

The 9/11 Commission made it clear, the terror attacks of September 11, 2001 were made possible by multiple failures of the immigration system that enabled the terrorists to enter the United States and embed themselves.

The preface of the official report, 9/11 and Terrorist Travel begins with the following paragraph:

  4. Do the Dems Have a Structural Anti-Semitism Problem?

It’s obvious why no one on the left wants to talk about Farrakhan.

When your core allies in the black community are black nationalists who are Farrakhan fans, that’s a conversation that can’t be had. That’s why the Obama-Farrakhan photo got less coverage than a dog whose ear, CNN claimed, looked like Trump. It’s why Tamika Mallory, Keith Ellison, Shaun King and the rest of the gang quickly got a pass.

When your political allies are anti-Semites or on very friendly terms with them, some topics are just off-limits.

    It’s a structural problem.

That’s the point that Karin McQuillan at American Thinker makes in her article, Democrats Need Anti-Semites to Win.

  5. Comey refuses to testify to Congress, Grassley says McCabe pleads Fifth Amendment

Fired FBI Director James Comey refused to appear before Congress on Monday to talk about his handling of the Clinton email investigation, and his fired deputy, Andrew McCabe, asserted his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination, Sen. Charles E. Grassley said.

Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch also declined to show up for a major hearing where the Senate Judiciary Committee was looking into the inspector general’s report detailing major bungles in Mr. Comey’s handling of the Clinton investigation.

Mr. Comey’s lawyer said he was out of the country — though Mr. Grassley, committee chairman, said he saw Mr. Comey was in Iowa over the weekend, visiting a key state in presidential campaigning.

“He has time for book tours and television interview, but apparently no time to assist this committee,” Mr. Grassley, an Iowa Republican, said.

  6. How Did a Former Israeli Minister Become a Spy for Iran?

Being accused of spying on behalf of Iran is not Gonen Segev’s first controversy, though it is by far the most severe. The former Israeli lawmaker and government minister was once imprisoned for smuggling ecstasy tablets into Israel and was also convicted for credit card fraud – but none of that will prepare him for the charges he’s up against now. Segev is accused of doing intelligence work for Iran while working at a clinic in Nigeria. If charged with treason and handing information to Israel’s arch-foe, Iran, he could face life in prison or even the death penalty.

  7. Post-Ramadan Reflections on the Muslim World

As Ramadan drew to a close this year, the spectacle of a contrived Muslim rage on the last Friday of Islam’s sacred month — branded “Al- Qud’s [Jerusalem] Day” by Iran’s late leader, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini – was on display across the Muslim world and in the West.

The Qur’an, Islam’s sacred text, calls upon Muslims to fast during Ramadan as part of prayers and quiet reflection “to ward off evil.” Extremist Muslims, instead, call upon their co-religionists to display their rage against their real and imagined enemies, especially Jews. Most Muslims, however, steer away from such angry demonstrations, which degrade the meaning and purpose of their devotion to fasting and prayers during the month in which the Qur’an was first revealed to Muhammad.

The public display of rage on the last Friday of Ramadan, which has now become a ritual since Khomeini called for it soon after the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran, is another vivid indicator of how deeply and fatefully divided within itself is the Muslim world.

    • Post-Ramadan Reflections on the Muslim World

According to an old fairy tail, an acient king summoned his three daughters to the throne room in order to determine who amongst them would be most worthy to inherit the kingdom.

His eldest daughter (and her husband) were interrogated first.

Next, the unmarried daughter was interviewed.

Finally, the blushing pre-teen was brought before the throne.

      Who did the King select?

Why, the eldest daughter’s husband, of course.

After all, this IS a fairy tale

Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz recently announced that the government was shutting down a Turkish nationalist mosque in Vienna and dissolving a group called the Arab Religious Community that runs six mosques, according to the Associated Press. “Parallel societies, political Islam and tendencies toward radicalization have no place in our country,” Kurz told reporters.

“The move comes after images appeared on Twitter in April of children in a Turkish-backed mosque playing dead and reenacting the World War I battle of Gallipoli (in which an allied invasion of Ottoman Turkey was defeated). Their “corpses” were then covered in Turkish flags. The mosques association called the event ‘highly regrettable,'” according to the CBN News.

These decisions by the Austrian government also follow its 2015 “Islam Law”, which bans foreign funding of religious groups and introduces a duty for Muslim organizations to have “a positive fundamental view towards [Austrian] state and society”.

The 2015 “Islam Law” of Austria, which Erdogan was protesting, states that “The freedom of religion is secured in the Austrian Constitution – individually, collectively and cooperatively”. This freedom should not be allowed to be exploited by those who incite hate or violence for any group. European governments should be alert and take all measures available to monitor mosques — their sermons and activities — and bring to account the imams who attempt to indoctrinate Muslims in teachings that imperil the safety and liberty of others.

For around four centuries, the lands which now constitute Israel, the West Bank and Gaza were occupied by the Ottoman empire. After the First World War they were administered by Britain under the Palestine Mandate; after the 1948 Arab war of extermination against the new State of Israel the area beyond the ceasefire lines, including east Jerusalem, was illegally occupied by Jordan (which desecrated and ripped up synagogues and ancient Jewish gravestones).

“The city of Mosul and its surrounding area has witnessed an upsurge in Islamic State attacks over the past three days, as locals criticise the lack of appropriate security strategy in the northeastern desert region to keep the extremist group under control.

According to local sources, at least 46 people including civilians, security officers, and tribal fighters have been kidnapped in the past 72 hours, at least 20 of whom have been executed. Further attacks taking the form of ambushes on roads, IED blasts and car bombs have also been carried out in the area.

On Monday, 30 civilians were kidnapped from the Salahuddin area and taken to an unknown location. According to the head of the Salahuddin council, Ali Nawaf, the majority of those abducted were from the local Shammar tribe. Nawaf added that 7 bodies of the abductees were found on Tuesday morning, handcuffed and left in the desert.

The Popular Mobilisation Forces (PMF), a Shia militia who have been battling IS in Iraq, also reported a discovery of bodies of civilians kidnapped by IS.

In a press statement the PMF said: “a group of IS militants kidnapped 10 civilians during an ambush on the Abu Ajareb bridge, near the desert village of Hatra south of Mosul, and took them to an unknown location,” adding that they had found the bodies of seven of the abductees, who appeared to have been executed by firing squad, near the airport south of Mosul…”

“he international airport of Yemen’s western city of Hudaydah still firmly resists occupation by a Saudi-led military coalition despite scores of airstrikes pouring on the compound.

The Yemeni army, supported by allied fighters from the Popular Committees and those of the Houthi Ansarullah movement, are resisting against the enemy attacks.

During the past few days, warplanes belonging to the Saudi and Emirati-led coalition have hit the vital airport with dozens of airstrikes, as Saudi-supported militia loyal to Yemen’s former President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi attempt to gain ground toward the compound.

Since Saturday, the so-called coalition has announced a number of times that they had managed to fully capture the airport, but each time it was revealed that the airport was still in the hands of Houthi fighters and Yemeni troops, and that the compound was only within the reach of repeated air raids, Press TV reported.

    https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20180619-egypt-families-of-terror-victims-demand-150m-from-qatar-emir/

“A number of families of those who were killed and wounded in armed attacks in Egypt have filed a lawsuit against the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, demanding compensation of $150 million.

The families accuse Qatar of being responsible for the killing of four officers and wounding a civilian during attacks by extremists in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.

The lawsuit was based on judicial rulings that “confirm Qatar’s support for terrorist groups in Sinai”, according to Hafez Abu Saada, an Egyptian rights activist and a member of the National Council for Human Rights (NCHR).

Abu Saada was referring a previous court case which saw the country’s first democratically elected President Mohamed Morsi being handed a life term after being found guilty of “communicating with Qatar”, he said that provisions in the case were evidence of Doha’s support for a number of terror acts.

According to its laws, Egypt can confiscate Qatari property to settle the compensation claim if Doha’s is found guilty of the charges.”

“Tragedy struck the Thiva refugee camp in Greece after it was revealed on Tuesday that a four-year-old girl died after falling into a sewer in an apparent accident.

A search was initiated for the child, who was of Iraqi descent, on Monday evening after her parents reported her missing, and authorities found the child at the bottom of a deep sewer drain which was located within a fenced area.

According to local reports, ambulance services were quick to arrive and got the girl out of the sewer at around 11pm local time, however she was reported to be dead at the scene.

The girl’s death caused tension among the migrant community in the camp, with hundreds of refugees venting their anger by shouting and screaming at the local authorities and initially snatching and refusing to hand over the lifeless body of the girl.

Riot police moved in to quell the unrest and persuaded the group to hand over the girl to medical services. The girl’s body was finally transported by ambulance to the nearby hospital where an autopsy will take place to confirm the cause of death.”

  17. U.S. official to CNN: Israel behind strike on Syrian-Iraqi border

Israel, not the US, was responsible for a strike on Syrian regime linked positions near the Iraqi border, a US official told CNN on Monday. Earlier, Syrian state media said that US-led coalition aircraft had bombed the position, causing deaths and injuries.

Asked about the reported air strikes, an Israeli military spokesperson said: “We do not comment on foreign reports.”

The attack took place in al-Harra, southeast of the town of Albu Kamal, state news agency SANA said, citing a military source. SANA said the attack caused an unspecified number of deaths and injuries.

A commander in the alliance fighting alongside Damascus told Reuters that drones that were “probably American” had bombed the positions of Iraqi factions between Albu Kamal and Tanf, as well as Syrian military positions.

The commander, who is not Syrian and spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity, said the strike had killed and injured some Iraqi fighters but he did not give any numbers.

Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces, a grouping of mostly Iran-backed Shi’ite paramilitaries, said a US air strike on the Iraqi border with Syria killed 22 of its members and wounded 12 others.
